Harvey Weinstein is under investigation for allegedly raping Paz de la Huerta on 2 occasions, but law enforcement sources tell TMZ a prosecution is highly unlikely.

De la Huerta says in November 2010, Weinstein went to her apartment, pushed her on the bed, lifted her skirt and raped her. She says in late December, Weinstein showed up again in her hotel lobby, she asked him to leave but he ended up in her apartment and he raped her again.

Law enforcement sources tell us there are problems with the case. The fact that it's more than 7 years old creates issues, including memory of events.

Our sources say the case is made even more difficult by the fact that the actress had repeated interactions with Weinstein between the first and second alleged rape.

De la Huerta has said she told her therapist about the rapes, but our law enforcement sources say it's not as clear as that. Law enforcement is aware of a correspondence in which the therapist recollects the 2010 session this way:

"I recall you reporting to me a sexual encounter with Harvey Weinstein involving intercourse in your apartment in 2010 that resulted in you feeling victimized. I recall you telling me that it felt coercive to you and that you didn't want to have sex with him, but felt you had to as he was a man of power and rank and you couldn't say no to his sexual advances."

Our law enforcement sources say the therapist's recollections do not show a lack of consent sufficient to prove rape.

Ty Dolla $ign and YG's alleged beatdown of an Australian soccer star apparently cost 'em big-time -- 'cause the guy says they dropped at least $100k to keep the matter out of court.

Aussie footballer Nelly Yoa tells TMZ he settled with Ty and YG for a low six-figure amount to avoid a potential lawsuit against them for allegedly beating the crap out of him in 2015.

We broke the story ... Nelly says the rappers punched and kicked him in the head when they tried clearing out a VIP room at a nightclub in Melbourne that he refused to vacate. He claimed the alleged beating cost him a soccer deal that woulda made him a fortune.

Nelly put T&Y on official notice a couple months ago, letting them know a lawsuit was coming.

"Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" production came to a screeching halt after one of its staffers was allegedly run over in a parking lot.

Production sources tell TMZ ... the scary incident went down Wednesday at the high-end Buckhead shops where Mimi Faust and co. were preparing to shoot. But we're told things went south before cameras started rolling -- a security guard was allegedly run down by an angry mall customer.

We're told security was saving a parking spot for the production, which pissed off the customer. Witnesses tell us he revved the engine and struck the security guard ... injuring his left leg.

Boston Red Sox pitcher Steven Wright was arrested this weekend after he got into an altercation with his spouse, according to local media outlets.

NBC Sports Boston reports that the starting righty got busted Friday at his home in Tennessee for an incident involving his wife, which resulted in him being arrested and booked for domestic assault.

His lawyer released a statement from the Wright family saying ... "On Friday night, Steven was arrested at our home following a verbal argument, and the police charged him with domestic assault."

The statement goes on ... "Although he said things he deeply regrets, he did not raise his hand at anyone during the incident, and the situation was purely emotional. We are working together as a family ... and we ask that you respect our privacy as we do so."

The Red Sox also released a statement saying they were aware of the situation, and that MLB and police were investigating ... declining to comment further.

Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Malik McDowell was arrested this weekend after he allegedly flipped out at a club in a dispute over money.

McDowell was arrested early Sunday morning in Atlanta, GA after a cop says she saw him getting into a verbal altercation outside the front doors of a club called SL Lounge.

According to the incident report, obtained by TMZ Sports, McDowell was shouting at the head of security about $600 he believed he'd already paid ... even though he was repeatedly told by staff and his own friend he hadn't given them the cash he wanted back.

He was eventually allowed back in ... but the arresting officer says he was kicked out again ... still shouting about the money, and refusing to leave without it. The cop says she was told McDowell poured out a couple bottles of liquor inside and got booted.

During a profanity-laced tirade, the officer says she detained McDowell with the help of her partner. They tried getting him in the back of their patrol car when he allegedly said ... "F*** both of ya'll hoe ass n*****, p**** ass cops, I bet I get out, I got more money than ya'll, ya'll ain't got enough money for me, p**** ass crackers, broke ass n*****."

The arresting officer says she had to almost tase and pepper spray McDowell when he refused to comply with her orders, but adds she ultimately didn't use either.

He was booked for disorderly conduct, and was released on a $325 bond. McDowell suffered a concussion this summer and is not on the active Seahawks roster.

Hannibal Buress seemed like he was trying to do the right thing before getting busted for disorderly intoxication ... 'cause he asked a cop to order him a ride home.

TMZ has obtained Hannibal's arrest affidavit from his Saturday night bust in Miami, in which the arresting officer describes what allegedly happened before he detained the comedian.

The officer says Hannibal approached him with blood shot eyes and a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath, and then asked the cop to call him an Uber. The officer says he refused, which caused Hannibal to become angry and belligerent.

The cop goes on to say Hannibal then went inside a bar, which the cop says he asked Hannibal to leave since he was too drunk. The two then made it outside, where the officer says Hannibal continued to hurl profanities at him and caused a crowd to form.

The cop says he asked him to leave 5 times before cuffing him.

Rudy Tomjanovich isn't taking the most devastating punch in sports history personally anymore, telling TMZ Sports he actually feels sorry for Kermit Washington -- the guy who detonated his jaw in 1977.

Washington recently pled guilty to fraud charges and faces up to 8 years in prison ... but before that, he was most famous for leveling Rudy T. with a shot doctors said could've killed him.

No joke, Tomjanovich suffered a broken jaw and nose, plus a cerebral concussion ... and was leaking spinal fluid into his mouth.

Despite all that carnage, when we got him out in Beverly Hills, Rudy told us the brutal shot was water under the bridge and that he actually felt sorry for Washington -- whom he forgave long ago.

"I feel sorry for him. I know Kermit. We had made up after that incident and I know he was trying to make it like anybody and I feel for the guy."

6:45 PM PT -- Charlie tells TMZ, "In my nearly 35 years as a celebrated entertainer, I have been nothing shy of a forthright, noble and valiant courier of the truth. Charlie Sheen is suing the National Enquirer for an article it published claiming he raped a then 13-year-old Corey Haim.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Sheen says the Enquirer article that ran on Nov. 8 claimed Sheen sodomized Haim while they were filming the movie "Lucas" back in the 1980s. Sheen was 19 at the time.

The article claimed Charlie and Corey smoked pot and had anal sex. The article blames Sheen for putting Haim on a path of drug abuse, which sent him to an early grave.

Charlie has publicly denied the story, and in the lawsuit he points out Corey's own mother has also denied it.

Charlie says Enquirer exec Dylan Howard has a vendetta against him. Charlie believes Howard is pissed because his publication didn't break the story that Charlie has HIV.

DMX is getting out of rehab, but it's only temporary ... to treat his fans in Albany to a show.

A New York judge gave the rapper the green light to travel, with a drug counselor, to perform a concert Friday night -- then it's back to the rehab facility on Saturday. He was also allowed to host a Thursday night gig in NYC.

X's attorney, Murray Richman, tells us ... he's always required to travel to his shows with a rehab counselor and gets drug tested while he's on tour. We're told he's been granted release about 10 times during his rehab program and hasn't failed a test.

Richman says DMX covers all of the counselor's food and expenses while they're traveling together.

When we last saw DMX, it looked like rehab was doing his body good.

Jerry Sandusky's 42-year-old son is following in his father's shameful footsteps -- he was ALSO just sentenced to serve time in prison after pleading guilty in his child sex abuse case.

Officials say Jeffrey Sandusky requested nude and sexually explicit photos from underage girls -- 2 sisters.

Cops say Jeffrey asked one of the underage girls to send a pic of her "taking a piss."

Sandusky eventually pled guilty to 14 criminal counts including solicitation of child porn -- and Friday, he was sentenced to 3 to 6 years in state prison. He was facing up to 8 years.

He's also required to register as a Tier 3 sex offender -- which is the highest level in Pennsylvania.

Steve Harvey is being sued by a guy who claims he was hired by the TV mogul to raise $20 million for the Steve and Marjorie Foundation as well as other ventures and got royally stiffed.

Vincent Dimmock claims he struck a deal with Harvey in April to raise the $20 mil, and in return he says he was promised 12.5% of everything he brought in. Dimmock says in the lawsuit he had access to high-level execs, A-list entertainers and political figures including a former President, and he got pledges for $20 mil.

According to the suit, Dimmock delivered on the first million but Harvey refused to pay him his commission.

Dimmock claims Harvey never intended to pay him and then goes on to make various allegations.

Dimmock says he introduced Harvey to an investor in May, and during their meeting he allegedly disparaged women, blamed Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry for giving him bad financial advice and also blamed Barack Obama for Harvey's "disastrous meeting with Donald Trump."

He says Harvey and his foundation were in bad financial shape because of a series of P.R. gaffes, including mocking Asian men and meeting with Trump.

7:15 PM PT -- Singer's lawyer, Andrew Brettler, had some additional comments for TMZ ... "Bryan categorically denies these allegations and will vehemently defend this lawsuit to the very end ... When Sanchez-Guzman filed for bankruptcy only a few years ago, he failed to disclose this alleged claim when he was supposed to identify all of his assets, but conveniently, now that the bankruptcy court discharged all of his debts, he is able to recall the alleged events."

Brettler adds, "The attorney behind this lawsuit is the same lawyer who represented Michael Egan, the convicted felon who sued Bryan Singer in 2014. In the end, Egan was forced to dismiss that case once the facts came out and his story completely fell apart."

Famed director Bryan Singer is being sued for allegedly forcing a 17-year-old boy to perform oral sex on him and then raping him, but Singer categorically denies the allegations.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Singer was on a yacht in the Seattle area back in 2003 ... a yacht owned by wealthy tech investor, Lester Waters. The suit claims it was a party populated by young gay males, including the plaintiff, Cesar Sanchez-Guzman.

The suit claims Singer offered to take Guzman, who was 17 at the time, on a tour of the yacht. When they got to one of the rooms, the suit alleges Singer thrust his body on Guzman, forced him to the floor, shoved Guzman's face against his crotch and demanded he perform oral sex.

The suit claims Singer pulled out his penis, smacked Guzman in the face with it and forced it into his mouth. Guzman claims he pleaded with Singer to stop, but he kept going ... causing him to choke.

The suit goes on to allege Singer then forcibly performed oral sex on Guzman. Guzman says he again pleaded with Singer to stop, to no avail. He says Singer then forcibly anally penetrated him, all while ignoring Guzman's pleas.

The suit, filed by attorney Jeff Herman, claims Singer later approached Guzman, said he was a powerful Hollywood producer and he could help Guzman get into acting as long as he kept silent. Guzman says Singer warned him no one would believe him, and Singer could hire people to ruin his reputation.

Guzman says he suffered emotional distress, mental anguish, and physical and mental pain.

Adult Swim's prayers have been answered ... the "Black Jesus" lawsuit is no more. Amen.

A judge dismissed the suit a writer named Saint Solomon filed against AS. He claimed their show ripped off his short story, "Thank You, Jesus" -- which also features an African-American Messiah.

In the docs -- obtained by TMZ -- the judge spells it out pretty clearly -- the tales of 2 Christs aren't similar at all ... other than the lead characters being black.

Yes, both works had the idea of making Jesus black, but as the judge said, "Ideas are not protected by copyright."

As we reported ... Solomon wanted $75 million from Adult Swim. No dice.

50 Cent just won a huge legal victory when a judge threw out a lawsuit where he was accused of ripping off someone else's work to create his hit show, "Power."

Two guys wrote a play called "Dangerous" which they claimed was eerily like "Power." The story line involved a drug dealer who engaged in violence, launders money and attempts to stave off prosecution.

The court said these are common elements that are in the public domain and "One need only look to such shows and movies as The Wire, Empire, Breaking Bad, Narcos, Weeds, Carlito's Way, American Gangster, New Jack City, Scarface and Paid in Full."

So, 2 things we know ... 50 Cent won big, and the judge sure knows his TV shows and movies.

Meek Mill has officially appealed the decision that just landed him in prison for 2 to 4 years.

In legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Meek's lawyer laid out the groundwork for asking a higher court to free the rapper, on grounds the judge was unfair and biased against him.

As we reported, Meek's attorneys claim Judge Genece Brinkley had it out for Meek after he refused to change managers -- she allegedly was chummy with the one she was pushing -- and she also allegedly tried in vain to get Meek to record a Boyz II Men song and give her a shout-out.

Meek's lawyers have ordered a full transcript to show the appeals court the judge was prejudiced.

One of his attorneys, Joe Tacopina, tells TMZ ... Meek is frustrated with the situation, but his concern is more for his son, and some other young teens he's been mentoring after taking them off the streets.
