1:58 PM PT -- Our sources tell us the plan is for Meek to attend Tuesday night's game, but the key issue is time.

If Meek can get formally checked out of prison and then get to the arena in time for the game, which starts at 5 PM PT, he'll be there as the team's VIP guest.

It's a 12-mile drive from the prison to the arena.

Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin says he's on his way to Chester State prison to personally pick up Meek Mill when he's released ... and it's a good bet the rapper will be at the game tonight.

Rubin and Meek have become very close -- with Rubin not only visiting him several times since Meek was incarcerated, but also bringing a bunch of high-profile and influential people to the prison ... including Robert Kraft, Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Kevin Hart and more.

Now, with Meek officially being released after 5 months ... Rubin posted, "Meek Mill is free. Just left visiting Meek with Kevin Hart and I'm on the way back to pick him up as we speak #MeekIsFree #GoSixers."

Someone just posted from Meek's Instagram account, "Go Sixers."

The 76ers play the Miami Heat at Wells Fargo Center in Philly for Game 5 of their playoff series ... and the smart money is that Meek will be the VIP guest who gets to ring the famous bell.

The sports world is freaking out over Meek Mill's release from prison ... with some of the biggest athletes showing support for the rap superstar.

Philadelphia Eagles star Jay Ajayi kicked off the celebration by tweeting "MEEK FREE!!!!! Philly Lit"

Torrey Smith praised Sixers owner Michael Rubin for his contribution and "for simply being a good friend and lending his platform to help others," and adding "Thousands of people are treated unfairly daily by the criminal justice system. I can’t wait to see @MeekMill help lead the way for others that don’t have a voice. Welcome home!"

Karl-Anthony Towns -- who showed support for the rapper with a customized jersey at the Super Bowl this year -- voiced his approval, saying "Welcome home @MeekMill"

Ex-NFLer Freddie Mitchell added "Free at last, Free at last, Thank God almighty we are free at last. Letttttss Goooo" ... and Super Bowl champ Jalen Mills added "MEEK MILL HOLLA AT ME BRO.... That MAN FREE"

L.A. Lakers star Kyle Kuzma had a different take, saying "It took meek mill 5 months to get out of jail but this guy from the Waffle House shooting can potentially be out by next week on BAIL. #OnlyInAmerica"

1:23 PM PT -- According to the PA Supreme Court's official order, the justices cited the alleged corrupt police officer who served as a "critical witness" in Meek's original gun and drugs case as a crucial point in their decision to order his bail. It also said prosecutors were not opposed to him being released, and sided with them.

Meek Mill will be a free man in 1 hour ... out of prison after a long legal battle.

The Supreme Court of PA made the decision, overruling Judge Genece Brinkley. Judge Brinkley was severely criticized for what some say was a grudge against Meek and keeping him in prison, despite prosecutors asking that his conviction be overturned because of a dirty cop.

Judge Brinkley denied Meek bail last week after prosecutors asked her to toss the conviction, and instead she set a hearing for 60 days later. Many found that outrageous, and that apparently includes justices of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

The justices released Meek with no bail, pending a hearing in about 60 days to possibly dismiss the conviction. One remarkable thing, which is a clear diss to Judge Brinkley ... the justices refused to boot Judge Brinkley from the case, but said she "may opt to remove herself from presiding over this matter."

Meek tells TMZ ... "I’d like to thank God, my family, my friends, my attorneys, my team at Roc Nation including JAY-Z, Desiree Perez, my good friend Michael Rubin, my fans, The Pennsylvania Supreme Court and all my public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time."

"While the past five months have been a nightmare, the prayers, visits, calls, letters and rallies have helped me stay positive."

The rapper also hopped on a call with T.I. after his release ... T.I. posted a video of the call, and Meek sounds ecstatic.

Meek adds, "To the Philadelphia District Attorney’s office, I’m grateful for your commitment to justice – not only for my case, but for others that have been wrongfully jailed due to police misconduct. Although I’m blessed to have the resources to fight this unjust situation, I understand that many people of color across the country don’t have that luxury and I plan to use my platform to shine a light on those issues. In the meantime, I plan to work closely with my legal team to overturn this unwarranted conviction and look forward to reuniting with my family and resuming my music career."

Meek's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, says, "Meek was unjustly convicted and should not have spent a single day in jail. Meek is excited to be reunited with his family, and we, along with Meek, intend to continue to shine the light on a justice system in need of reform to prevent any other citizen from being put through what Meek has endured."

More money problems for Plaxico Burress ... the ex-NFL star's mansion is in foreclosure after he allegedly fell behind on the mortgage, TMZ Sports has learned.

According to court docs filed in New Jersey ... Burress and his wife Tiffany stopped forking over mortgage checks on their 5,500 square foot pad back in July 2017 and the bank is looking to collect.

Property records show Burress and his wife bought the home back in 2005 for $1.5 million.

Now, the bank is demanding Plaxico and his wife pay the full balance on the home -- around $700k -- or they'll seize the property.

Interesting considering Plaxico reportedly made more than $29 MILLION during his NFL career.

Just a few years ago, Plaxico got into some trouble with NJ tax officials after he fell behind to the tune of $48k. He eventually paid that money back and avoided prison time.

Barry Manilow's dream duet with Judy Garland might be a showstopper, but one man really just wants it to stop ... according to a new suit.

Darryl Payne claims Barry used a recording of Judy singing her song "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart" on a video promoting his 2014 album My Dream Duets ... but didn't obtain the licensing rights for it.

Payne says he's the rightful owner of the Garland clip used in the promo vid, and Manilow never got his OK to use it. On top of that, Barry's accused of using the Garland clip at his live shows on at least 68 occasions at jam-packed venues ... once again, without permission.

Kevin Hart just joined a growing list of celebrities to visit Meek Mill in prison.

Kevin was spotted entering Chester SCI in Philadelphia with a few members of his team by his side. It's the Philly-born comedian's first time stepping foot into the prison.

Hart's among several celebs, politicians, artists and athletes to visit Meek -- the list includes Rev. Al Sharpton, James Harden, members of the 76ers and Robert Kraft. Nearly all of the meetings have been set up by Michael Rubin, co-owner of the 76ers.

Bill Cosby arrived for one of the most important days of his sexual assault retrial -- closing arguments -- and his wife made her first appearance in a show of support.

Camille Cosby clutched the arm of her husband, who seemed frail during the 2 weeks of testimony. She did not attend the trial during the 11 days of testimony.

Just like the first trial, Cosby did not testify. His accuser, Andrea Constand, took the stand as she did the first time and was accused by Cosby's lawyers of being a money-grubbing liar. Five women took the stand as witnesses to support Constand, saying they were all drugged and sexually assaulted by the comedian.

Vanilla Ice's ex wants to prevent a fire sale in the wake of their impending divorce -- which apparently has already gotten underway with him unloading their jet skis.

VI's estranged wifey, Laura Van Winkle, filed legal docs asking a judge to stop the rapper from selling off any more of their shared assets without her permission.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Laura says Ice is in possession of nearly all of the couple's marital assets, so she can't prevent him from doing what he wants with their stuff without a judge stepping in. Oh, and she wants full accounting of his haul from the jet skis' sale, too.

Sounds about right ... Laura filed her original divorce petition in 2016. She asked to be allowed to stay in the family house and for child and spousal support ... plus attorney's fees, of course.

This split is turning out to be colder than ... forget it.

George Clooney's producing partner, Grant Heslov, had a family cyber scare last week that ended with his wife going to cops over threats made to her life ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us Lysa Heslov filed a police report after social media trolls made threatening comments to her over her politics. It's unclear what exactly they were discussing, but one guy commented on her FB page ... "She needs punched in the mouth ... *a bullet to the head. FIXED." She noted in the post that she took it as a threat.

Other people on what appears to be her Instagram message feed left vulgar comments, one of which encouraged Lysa to kill herself.

Lysa has since made her social media accounts private -- except for Twitter -- and we're told the LAPD is investigating.

Prince's family is taking action after it was announced no one would be criminally charged in the singer's death by suing the hospital that treated his overdose a week before he died.

Prince's family -- repped in the lawsuit by trustee Michael A. Zimmer -- just filed to sue Trinity Medical Center out of Illinois for allegedly failing to properly diagnose and treat Prince's opioid addiction before he suffered another, and ultimately fatal, overdose a week later.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, the family claims that Trinity's action -- or lack thereof -- was a direct and proximate cause of Prince's death. They're also suing one of Trinity's doctors, Dr. Nicole Mancha, as well as an unidentified pharmacist and Walgreens employee whom they claim were involved in providing care to him in his final days. They're suing Walgreens, too, btw.

We broke the story ... Prince made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois, where emergency responders gave him 2 shots of Narcan to save his life. He was taken to a nearby hospital at the time, which apparently turned out to be Trinity.

In regards to Walgreens, Prince's family claims the drug store chain was dispensing narcotic prescription medications to Prince for an invalid medical purpose and failed to make sure he was using the drug properly.

Stan Lee allegedly got handsy during a massage last year, which ended with him rubbing up on the masseuse with his exposed crotch ... this according to a new lawsuit, but Lee is calling BS.

The Marvel honcho and his former assistant -- Max Anderson -- have been sued by Chicago-based massage therapist Maria Carballo, who claims Stan tried sexually gratifying himself during two sessions.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Carballo alleges she performed two massages at Stan's hotel room a year ago in Chi-town. During the first massage, she says Stan began fondling himself while face down on the table, and then started moaning when she got to his thighs. She says she left at that point, but came back the next day for round 2.

For the second massage, Carballo says Stan got to moaning and groaning again ... to which she responded by threatening to leave. She says he got pissed, though, so she stuck it out for another 10 minutes -- only now using her feet to perform a Shiatsu massage.

During the treatment, Carballo claims Stan grabbed her foot and rubbed it against his naked penis and scrotum. She says she immediately left after that, but not before collecting $240 cash from Lee. She also claims his assistant tried handing her more money as a tip, presumably because he knew about the misconduct ... according to her, anyway.

Carballo's suing for more than $50,000 in damages, and even cites the #MeToo movement as inspiration to speak out.

Steve Wilkos caught a big break Monday in his DUI case after a judge ordered him to participate in an Alcohol Education Program in a case that could have landed him in jail.

The program will last 15 weeks. Wilkos must also participate on a panel with drunk driving victims. If he completes the program and keeps his nose clean for 1 year the DUI conviction will be erased from his record.

Wilkos had a shocking blood alcohol level of .29 -- more than 3 times the legal limit.

He was arrested after his SUV struck several polls and a tree before flipping over. He was taken to the hospital but miraculously suffered only minor injuries.

Wilkos told TMZ he was suffering from depression. He told us at the time, "This experience reinforces my commitment to get the professional help that I need and I have recently completed an intensive, medically supervised program."

Three shocking pieces of information about Pete Rose in new court docs ...

1) He's still technically married to his 2nd wife, Carol, despite filing for divorce in 2011 and gallivanting around for years with a much younger girlfriend.

2) Rose allegedly makes more than $1 MILLION per year in income from autograph signings.

3) He blows most of his cash in high stakes gambling sessions and has significant debts with casinos and the IRS.

The allegations are all part of new divorce docs filed by his estranged wife, Carol Rose, who married Pete back in 1984.

Pete initially filed divorce docs of his own to end the marriage back in '11, but things have dragged and they're still technically married.

Now, Carol claims Pete is jerking her around in the divorce -- and she wants what she believes is her rightful cut of the community property.

Carol claims Pete is making a minimum $100,000 per month -- primarily from daily signing appearances. That's $1.2 mil annually for all you mathematicians out there.

She's asking the judge to order Pete to lay out his financial situation to the court so they can hash out a proper settlement and finally end their marriage once and for all.

The man who allegedly shot up a Waffle House in Tennessee killing four people this weekend has been arrested after being on the run for a day.

29-year-old Travis Reinking was arrested Monday, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. The Waffle House he's accused of firing upon was also in the Nashville area.

Reinking is accused of opening fire Sunday at the famous restaurant chain with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle. A civilian named James Shaw Jr., has been hailed a hero after he intercepted the alleged gunman, disarmed him and pushed him outside where he fled.

3:17 PM PT -- Jake's rep tells TMZ, "There's no allegation regarding the actual amount of damages other than the request for punitive damages. That's because the damages were minimal compared to the amount they're asking. They say they want punitive damages because they say they didn't know Jake would use the house for his pranks, but the original lease states it's for Jake's personal use."

The rep adds, "After more than a year, when they presumably would have known all about the pranks, instead of asking him to leave they raised the rent and increased the security deposit. Something doesn't add up."

The Paul Bros. are at it again -- this time it's Jake being taken to court for treating his rental home like the capital of Pranksville, USA ... which could cost him millions.

Jake is being sued by Cobra Acquisitions, LLC -- which owns the newly constructed L.A.-based house Jake allegedly rented from them in 2016 -- for what they claim are substantial damages left at the home during his year-and-a-half tenancy.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Jake rented the pad in May 2016 for $17,495/month with a security deposit of $40k. He moved out in December 2017, and allegedly left the place in ruins -- burn marks in the pool, dead landscaping, and busted cabinets.

Cobra says Jake did not disclose he was a famous YouTube prankster when they first leased to him, but that it quickly became apparent what line of work he was in. They allege the fire department had been called out a number of times while he lived there, and that social media stars would constantly be at the crib ... leaving neighbors pissed and complaining.

Publishers Clearing House is targeting old geezers with their junk mail sweepstakes and unfairly making them believe they have a real shot at getting rich ... according to a new lawsuit.

The marketing company has just been put on the receiving end of a class action lawsuit, which claims PCH is improperly soliciting old folks specifically with "you've already won" pamphlets and fake checks, making them think they actually won, but then tricking them into shelling out on PCH goods.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, PCH is manipulating the elderly to buy PCH products under the guise that by doing so, their chances at winning big prizes will improve. The lawsuit goes on to detail past investigations by state attorneys general into alleged misconduct in 2000, 2001 and 2010 -- which it settled for over $18 mil, $34 mil, and $3.5 mil, respectively.

The U.S. Senate also launched a probe into Publishers Clearing House in 2015 for alleged similar misconduct, and found they're still using deceptive tactics, according to the suit.
