Bill Cosby Making Friends with Prison Staff ... Daily Calls With Wife Too

Published | Updated

Bill Cosby's been locked up for a week ... and we've learned he spends his days getting friendly with prison staff, touring the grounds and chatting with his wife.

Cosby was locked up last Tuesday for 3 to 10 years, and is awaiting entry into general population at Pennsylvania State Correctional Institution Phoenix in Schwenksville, PA. Cosby's rep, Andrew Wyatt, tells TMZ the comedian's day starts early with breakfast in his cell.

We're told from there, Cosby is escorted through Phoenix by a personal guide -- Bill's legally blind -- to use the prison's library, yard and other facilities. Dinner and lunch are either in his cell or an open room.

Since he's not in general pop yet, he spends a lot of his time chatting with prison staff. Wyatt tells us Cosby has mentioned many times how respectful the staff is and how well they've treated him.

Cosby also gets daily calls from his wife, Camille. We're told the calls are only for a few minutes, but convos almost solely revolve around the plan to appeal his conviction. It'll still be at least another week before Cosby can get visitors.

Dorial Green-Beckham Gets Off Easy In Drunk Driving Case ... Judge Says 'We're All Pulling For You'

Published | Updated

Ex-NFL wideout Dorial Green-Beckham avoided serious jail time for his December drunk driving arrest ... in part 'cause the judge says he can still influence the community in his hometown.

As TMZ Sports reported ... DGB was busted for DWI back on Dec. 30 in Missouri when a cop suspected the ex-Eagles WR was intoxicated while picking up a friend at 3 AM.

Cops were right. He later pled guilty to misdemeanor DWI and was facing six months behind bars and a $1,000 fine.

But, when the 25-year-old appeared in court for sentencing Monday ... the Greene County judge let him off easy, in part because DGB -- as one of the greatest H.S. football players in the town's history -- can still have an impact on kids in the community.

"We're all pulling for you," the judge said, via the Springfield News-Leader.

"Don't forget that. This whole community is pulling for you."

The judge sentenced Dorial to 2 years of unsupervised probation, 60 hours of community service and a substance awareness traffic program.

DGB was the top-rated recruit in the 2012 class ... but flamed out at both Missouri and in the NFL thanks, in large part, to off-the-field issues.

Dorial's attorney told the Springfield News-Leader he could be trying to make a comeback to football ... perhaps in the Canadian Football League.

Remember, HE'S ONLY 25!!!

Good luck ...

Lil Wayne Birdman Called Bus Shooter in Jail ... 'Come Out and Get Your Money'

Published | Updated

3:42 PM PT -- A source close to Birdman says the phone call was in no way referring to the bus shooting. Even further, we're told Birdman doesn't believe Winfrey is the shooter ... and he would never associate with someone who tried to harm Wayne.

It's worth noting ... Winfrey's conviction was overturned in July due to biased conduct by the judge in his case. He's still in custody awaiting a new trial, or possibly a new plea deal.

The man convicted of shooting up Lil Wayne's tour bus took a jailhouse phone call from Birdman ... and it sounds like Birdman was congratulating him on a job well done.

The phone call was made while Jimmy Winfrey was incarcerated in Cobb County, GA. Winfrey would eventually be convicted and sentenced to 20 years, including 10 years to serve in prison and 10 years of probation, for shooting Weezy's bus in April 2015.

During the call Birdman says, "Time for you to come out here and get your money. You did everything you could do, boss."

The audio is shocking for several reasons, not the least of which being the fact Wayne and Birdman recently squashed their beef, and Wayne finally released "Tha Carter V."

The phone convo was uncovered as part of a separate civil lawsuit, filed by the tour bus driver, Alvin Lewis ... against Birdman and Young Thug. In docs, obtained by TMZ, Lewis says Birdman had promised Winfrey $250k and a Porsche. The intimation is the cash and car were payment for the shooting.

As we reported, the Cobb County D.A. is considering filing charges against Thug and Birdman for the shooting.

Cardi B Arrested and Charged ... Over Strip Club Fight

Published | Updated

8:54 AM PT -- Cardi was just officially arrested and charged with two misdemeanors, assault and reckless endangerment. We're told she had a mug shot taken and was fingerprinted. The rapper is scheduled to be arraigned on October 29.

Joe Tacopina, the attorney for the alleged victims, tells us, "She continues to threaten them and clearly thinks her celebrity status is going to get her out of this. But it doesn't matter if her name is Cardi B or Carl B ... if she commits violent assaults she will be brought to justice."

Cardi B will turn herself in to police Monday ... and she will be ordered to appear in court in connection with a strip club fight.

Sources familiar with the case tell TMZ, Cardi will be charged for allegedly ordering an attack on 2 bartenders at Angels Strip Club in Queens NY. The 2 bartender sisters -- Jade and Baddie Gi -- say Cardi had a long-standing beef with Jade because Cardi believed she had slept with Offset.

Cardi -- who was at the Strip Club because Migos was performing -- came face-to-face with the 2 bartenders and allegedly told her posse to attack them with bottles, chairs and a hookah smoking device. The 2 women were both hurt, but refused medical attention.

We're told Cardi will likely be charged with 2 misdemeanors -- reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. She will not be arrested when she turns herself in ... she will get a summons to appear in court on the charges.

THE POLICE FOOTAGE

MLB star Jayson Werth got into it with a police officer during his DUI arrest back in April -- ultimately telling the cop he's not sure the officer had his best interests at heart.

Werth was pulled over in Scottsdale, AZ on April 17 for expired registration and, during the stop, the officer suspected he was drunk.

Werth tried to celebrity his way out of the arrest -- handing the cop an MLB "courtesy card" which shows he's a pro baseball player -- and told the cop, "We do a lot of work with you guys."

Didn't work.

When the cops tried to conduct a field sobriety test, Werth objected -- refusing to comply and telling the cop, "I'm just not sure I trust you."

The cop tried to explain that he was NOT misleading Werth and was only trying to do the right thing.

Werth replied, "A lot of people have gotten into a lot of trouble assuming that police officers have their best interests [at heart]."

That's when the cop broke out the handcuffs and arrested the baseball player.

As we previously reported, Werth was taken to a nearby station where he ultimately surrendered to a blood draw -- which showed he had a .12 BAC.

He later pled guilty to 1 count of DUI and was sentenced to a diversion program.

Bill Cosby American Hero Got A Terrible Deal ... Fellow Comedian Says

Published | Updated

Bill Cosby's 3 to 10 year prison sentence reeks of unfairness and sets a dangerous precedent for the future ... so says fellow comedian Joe Torry.

We got Joe at LAX Sunday and he told us it's crazy to see what the judicial system is doing to someone he regards as an American hero.

Joe thinks Cosby's punishment for sexual assault is the first domino to fall ... because more people will end up in prison for mistakes they made "100 years ago."

Torry once walked into court with Cosby during his trial, so he's got a unique perspective. Joe says his heart goes out to the victims, but he's convinced Cosby got a raw deal in this particular case.

As for Cosby's legacy, Joe says nothing can tarnish all the good he's done.

Lil Pump Losing Out On $1 Mil ... Fall Shows Canceled

We're told Lil Pump was getting $70,000 per show on his upcoming tour ... and with 15 concerts off the table, he's losing out on $1,050,000!

Adding insult to injury ... the "Gucci Gang" rapper says he's going back to jail for a couple months for violating his parole when he got busted in Miami during a traffic stop. We're guessing that's the reason his tour was banged.

Pump was supposed to start touring September 28 with stops in 10 states and Canada ... but his concerts and cash are going out the window.

Track Palin Arrested for Domestic Violence ... Again

Published | Updated

Sarah Palin's oldest son has been arrested on new domestic violence charges in Alaska.

Track Palin was busted Friday night after Alaska State Troopers responded to a report of a disturbance at his home in Wasilla. Cops say their investigation revealed he assaulted a female acquaintance at the residence, then took her phone away when she tried to call authorities.

Track allegedly resisted the troopers while being placed under arrest as well.

The 29-year-old was arrested on charges of fourth-degree domestic violence assault, interfering with a report of domestic violence, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

He's being held without bail at the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility.

This isn't a first for Track either. He was arrested last December for allegedly breaking into his parent's house and beating up his father -- Sarah had to call the cops on him. That case is currently being heard in Alaska's Veterans Court.

He was also arrested in January 2016 after an altercation with his girlfriend at the time.

Rams WR Robert Woods Home Burglary Suspect Arrested

Published | Updated

L.A. Rams wide receiver Robert Woods might be close to getting his stuff back ... cops have made an arrest in his burglary case.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... Woods' San Fernando Valley pad was broken into Thursday while he was gone -- because he was busy destroying the Minnesota Vikings defense on "Thursday Night Football."

Law enforcement sources tell us ... cops investigating the burglary pulled over a suspect they believed was connected to it Friday, and found items belonging to the Rams WR in his car.

We're told the alleged burglar had other stolen items in his vehicle as well ... so he's being investigated for multiple burglaries in the area.

As we first reported ... cops believe Woods' burglary -- as well as the burglaries at Dodgers slugger Yasiel Puig's house -- are far from random. Police think they're being targeted by crooks because they're pro athletes ... so it's easy to know when they won't be home because they're at their games.

Hopefully, Puig will get some of Woods' good fortune soon ... especially since he's been burglarized FOUR times.

LAPD continues to investigate.

Tekashi69's Brooklyn home was swarmed and raided by federal agents Friday ... a search we're told turned up a gun.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Tekashi was not home during the time of the raid. It's currently unknown what prompted the search, or who the gun discovered in the home belonged to.

A source close to Tekashi tells us the rapper was already in the process of moving out of the Brooklyn home that was raided. We're told 6ix9ine had not been in the house for several weeks, and many people -- including movers and cleaners -- have been inside the property lately.

We reached out to a rep for Tekashi ... so far, no word back.

'RHOP' Star Michael Darby Butt Groping Allegations Not Enough for Restraining Order

Published | Updated

Michael Darby's facing charges for allegedly grabbing a 'Real Housewives of Potomac' cameraman's butt, but at least one judge believes that's not enough to keep him away from the crew member.

Ashley Darby's husband was facing a restraining order on top of criminal charges for sexual assault, but for now it's been denied because the cameraman couldn't meet the required burden of proof ... according to new legal docs.

We broke the story ... Orville Palmer claims Darby groped him on Sept. 1 while he was filming an episode of the show and then gave him "a flirtatious look." The 'Housewives' star's been charged with felony assault and misdemeanor improper sexual contact. He's also been suspended from the show by Bravo.

According to the new docs ... the incident went down at the home of fellow 'RHOP' stars Chris and Monique Samuels. Palmer also claims Darby kicked him in the lower buttocks a couple weeks earlier.

Palmer obtained a temporary restraining order against Darby, but it expired Thursday ... and the judge rejected his request for a permanent one.

It's a small victory for Darby, but he's not off the hook in the criminal case.

Actor Steven Grayhm Gets Rude Awakening ... Shovel-Throwing Madman on the Roof!!!

Actor Steven Grayhm's home was surrounded by cops when a maniac on the run ended up on his roof ... and TMZ has video of the crazy incident and arrest.

Grayhm -- known for his roles on the Netflix show "Between" and the movie "White Chicks" -- tells us he was awakened early Tuesday by his dog barking and knew something dangerous was going down ... which he confirmed when he saw cops with guns drawn at the front of his house.

Next thing he knew, the suspect smashed the bedroom window with a shovel in an attempt to get in his house, so he got his wife and dog and fled to safety with the cops out front.

Check it out ... instead of going in, Steven says the guy scaled his home like Spider-Man to get on the roof, where he's seen chucking the shovel like a javelin and shouting threats. Thankfully, he was eventually brought down and arrested before anyone got hurt.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... the man was fleeing police when he came upon Grayhm's home and tried to get in. After he was arrested, he was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold because he was deemed a threat to himself and others.

Grayhm believes the man is a transient who was on heavy drugs. He says the guy damaged his wife's car, destroyed their backyard, skylights and AC piping on the roof, and all in all ... did more than $5k worth of damage.

BTW ... here's Steven in "White Chicks."
