Offset Blows Off Stylist's Lawsuit

Published | Updated

Offset's time is up to pay back a stylist for allegedly stiffing him, so the stylist is going full bore, asking a judge to order the rapper to fork over the money ... sources close to the case tell TMZ.

The Migos rapper was sued in late June in Fulton County, GA by a stylist claiming he got shorted $11,699 for his work plus clothing costs. The services were supposedly rendered in Miami back in April ... when Offset was in town for Quavo's bday.

Offset had 45 days to file his response to the lawsuit, but the deadline has now passed. So, we're told the stylist is going to the judge ... saying it's not his problem that Offset was asleep at the wheel. He wants his money NOW, with a little help from hizzoner.

Nicki Minaj Hey, Safaree Do You Miss The Queen?

Published | Updated

It's going to take more than some nasty words on social media for Nicki Minaj to stop living her best life.

Nicki looked totally unfazed by her Twitter beef with ex-BF Safaree as she stepped out Tuesday night in NYC. She took her time rolling up to a live Tidal interview in SoHo ... must've been working on that sexy outfit.

As we reported, Nicki's ex, Safaree, claimed Nicki stabbed him with a knife in a fit of anger toward the end of their relationship.

Nicki took a page from her hit single, "Chun-Li," as she dressed head to toe in Burberry and rocked some serious ice ... just like the lyrics.

Dru Hill's Smoke E. Digglera 'Internet is Undefeated' ... We Failed Bad at Sneaker Cover-Up!!

Published | Updated

Dru Hill's new member ain't even tryin' to lie ... Smoke E. Digglera knows he and the group got busted -- hilariously -- for photoshopping his sneakers, but there's a funny story behind the flub.

Smoke, formerly lead singer for Playa, tells TMZ the mix-up started when he showed up for the photo shoot with Sisqo and the rest of DH, including fellow new member, Black. As the Internet immediately figured out ... those white Jordan 1 shoes on his feet were dropped in to cover up his, uhh ... wardrobe malfunction.

He says a miscommunication on what the shoot was supposed to frame (or not frame, more like) led to a last-minute change in editing ... and the rest is history.

As you probably know, fans roasted the poor Photoshop job with a bunch of "WHAT ARE THOSE?!" memes.

Despite the widespread jokes ... it sounds like Smoke would do it all over again. Comfort over everything, baby!

LeBron James 'Shut Up and Dribble' Fashion War Brewing

Published | Updated

"Shut Up and Dribble" could turn into "Shut Up and Pay Me" for LeBron James.

Despite the fact he's launching a new Showtime series using the 'S.U.A.D.' title, we've learned someone else has already moved on locking down the trademark to use the phrase on clothing.

Of course, LeBron LOVES to turn his projects and catchphrases into fashion items -- we've seen him do it with "Strive For Greatness" gear and just the other day he rocked a shirt that said "I Promise," the name of his new school in Ohio.

So, it seems obvious he would try to get the rights to "Shut Up and Dribble" too.

The problem ... a guy in Jersey named William DelGrande applied for the trademark back in February ... just a few days after FOX News' Laura Ingraham used the phrase to scold LeBron for getting involved in politics.

DelGrande doesn't own the trademark outright -- at least, not yet -- but he's got a big head start on LeBron ... which gives him an advantage if James makes a claim.

The good news ... DelGrande says he's willing to drop his claim -- for the right price.

Don't get it twisted, DelGrande isn't looking for a 7-figure deal -- telling TMZ Sports he'd wave the white flag for a "reasonable price."

Your move, LeBron ...

Daddy Yankee Hit In $2 Mil Jewelry Heist

Published | Updated

Daddy Yankee says he was the target of a crazy hotel room heist in Spain -- where a dude impersonating the "Despacito" rapper allegedly fooled staff into opening the rapper's safe and made off with $2 MILLION in jewelry and cash.

A rep for Daddy Yankee confirms the incident went down while the rapper was outside of his hotel in Valencia, Spain -- when a man pretending to be Yankee got access to his hotel room.

According to local reports, the fake Daddy Yankee asked a hotel staff member to open the safe in Yankee's room ... and the staff member obliged.

Daddy Yankee -- real name Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez -- famously rocks big gold chains and diamonds, and reports say that's exactly what was jacked from his hotel room at the exclusive Meliá Valencia Hotel... along with about $2,500 in cash.

Cops are reportedly trying to get their hands on hotel surveillance footage to help identify the suspect.

Donald Trump Hey Guys, Vote On a Space Force Logo ... Then Buy the Merch!

Published | Updated

President Trump is going back to his base over space -- as in his proposed Space Force, and wants his MAGA camp to vote on their favorite logo ... and then buy it.

Trump's campaign sent an email Thursday to subscribers ... asking them to weigh in on new artwork for the would-be 6th branch of the military ... but there's a capitalist twist.

Based on the wording of the email, it doesn't sound like this would be for the official Space Force program -- more like Space Force gear the campaign wants to peddle to anyone courageous enough to buy it. Dare we say wear it, too?

Anyway, the President's campaign's trying to profit off something that doesn't even exist yet ... although the VEEP just unveiled a plan to fire it up.

So we gotta ask ...

'RHOBH' Star Dorit Kemsley & Hubby Sued for Stiffing Bathing Suit Partner

Published | Updated

2:40 PM PT -- Sources close to Dorit say that, while she and Paul know Ryan Horne, he never fronted them a dime ... and they'll respond appropriately to his claims in court.

'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Dorit Kemsley and her hubby have just been slapped with a lawsuit alleging the couple royally screwed a business partner.

Ryan Horne filed new legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- claiming he struck a deal back in August 2017 to partner up with Dorit and her husband, Paul Kemsley, to make bathing suits. In docs, Ryan claims they each owned a third of the biz and he says he fronted them nearly $130k in merch plus $75k for other expenses.

But, Ryan says he never saw a dime after Dorit and PK sold the bathing suits for a huge profit and lined their pockets without paying him back. He's now suing to get the money he fronted Dorit and PK, plus a cut of the profits from the bathing suit sales.

We've reached out to Dorit and PK, so far no word back.

Ray J on 'L&HH' What Had Happened With My Damn Moving Hat Was ...

Published | Updated

Ray J says the reason his beanie seemed to have a mind of its own this week on 'Love & Hip Hop' has more to do with Hollywood magic than any real hat trick.

Ray broke down the 50 seconds of the episode everyone's talking about -- not for anything he or Safaree Samuels said, but because Ray's hat seemed to have a mind of its own!! In the brief scene, the knitted hat was in at least 6 different positions.

Fans of the show noticed, then made sure the Internet noticed. Viral video and meme hilarity ensued.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Ray gently put the blame on editing, as he revealed exactly how long they were actually shooting the scene. Hint: It's MUCH longer than what you saw on VH1 or the web.

Considering the hat has stolen the spotlight, Ray tells us it could be getting a bigger role in upcoming episodes. As he puts it ... the hat's in negotiations.

It's so Hollywood, baby.

Drake Locking Down 'God's Plan' ... Merchandise & TV Game Show Coming?!?

Published | Updated

This must really be God's plan. Drake is looking to lock up the rights to the phrase "God's Plan" as the rapper continues cashing in on his hit song.

According to docs obtained by TMZ ... Drake is aiming to use "God's Plan" for a bunch of clothing merch and a TV game show ... plus the usual things like downloadable music, music videos, audio recordings, marketing and promotion.

Drake's filing comes about a month after the release of his 5th studio album, "Scorpion." The music video for "God's Plan" has over 760 MILLION views, and Drake boasts in the vid about giving away just shy of $1 million to strangers -- the trademark means he's now ready to cash in for himself.

After all, Drake just dropped $14k on platinum and gold grills for his latest music vid. Someone's gotta pay the bills.

Drake 'In My Feelings' Grills Chewed 14k Outta My Pocket!!!

Published | Updated

Drake spent a small fortune -- by normie standards -- to decorate his chompers with serious bling for his "In My Feelings" music video ... and he ordered 'em just in the nick of time.

Our Drizzy sources say ... the rapper hit up celeb jeweler Ben Baller to make his grills less than 4 days before he shot the music vid in New Orleans. The grills were made in 36 hours and flown directly there. His order called for a specific combo too -- pure platinum and 18k gold.

The precious metals request was odd, because that kinda high quality isn't usually used on grills. We're told Drake wanted the all-gold set to rep a color associated with NOLA.

BTW ... the music video is pretty great, and Drake gets back to his acting roots. There are also some pretty cool cameos if ya haven't seen it yet. La La Anthony, in particular, has us all up in OUR feelings. Big Freedia made a surprise appearance as well after hitting up Champagne Papi last minute.

Trump's Walk of Fame Star It's the Economy, Stupid Violence and Vandalism Hurting Businesses

Published | Updated

Donald Trump might claim he's doing wonders for the U.S. economy, but that's total BS when it comes to a couple businesses close to the Prez ... ident's Walk of Fame star.

Employees from Forever 21 and American Eagle in Hollywood tell TMZ ... business has not been booming lately, and they're placing the blame squarely on the Trump star on the sidewalk in front of their entrances.

Forever 21 folks say issues with the star -- including its destruction by another guy with a pickax and brawls breaking out -- have scared tourists off. We're told the stores have experienced a significant drop in revenue.

American Eagle workers say July is usually their busiest month, but that wasn't the case this summer. The store constantly contacts cops about crowds in front ... there for the star and not shopping.

An AE employee says Trump's star literally hijacks attention from the store, and business has actually suffered since Trump was sworn in.

We broke the story ... despite Trump's star being a lightning rod for violence and vandalism, it's not going away anytime soon.

Zombie Boy Manager Says No Suicide Alarm Bells ... He was Focused on the Future

Published | Updated

Zombie Boy's death by apparent suicide came as a complete shock to those close to him, because he was very excited about things to come ... so says his manager.

Karim Leduc tells TMZ ... Zombie Boy -- real name Rick Genest, but known as Rico to friends and family -- was very focused on a couple of upcoming projects and had a "very positive mindset." Karim says these projects included shooting a music vid for his single called "Monster Inside" ... and working on a book of his poems.

Leduc says Rico was especially stoked about the music vid, so it makes no sense he would end his life before it got made.

Zombie Boy's manager also says he wasn't a drug user and was sober at the time of his death. There is this though -- Karim tells us Rico did mention to him recently he was going through a rough patch, but was "uplifted" by all the future projects.

Leduc insists he didn't think twice about Rico's comments, and doesn't believe it was a suicide warning sign.

We broke the story ... cops say Zombie Boy jumped to his death, but his loved ones believe it was an accident.

Tekashi69 Stolen Jewelry Makes A Return ... Or So It Seems

Published | Updated

Tekashi69's famous Jigsaw necklace and a ton of his other bling are back around the rapper's neck ... but we're told they're not the OG pieces.

Tekashi was out in NYC Thursday night flaunting his bling -- identical to the pieces stolen from the rapper's home last month -- and he let everyone know he's got at least a million bucks around his neck.

It would appear 6ix9ine has recovered the jacked goods -- but sources close tell us he simply had the original pieces recommissioned, shelling out a whole lotta dough in the process.

TMZ broke the story, Tekashi was hospitalized after he was allegedly pistol whipped by armed robbers just a couple weeks ago. Sources close to the rapper told us a different string of events than what Tekashi told cops ... but nonetheless, maintained his bling was gone.

Here's to a solid insurance plan.

Zombie Boy Cops Say He Jumped to his Death ... Family Believes Accidental

Published | Updated

Cops say Rick Genest -- best known as Zombie Boy -- jumped to his death ... but his family believes it was an accident.

Montreal law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the Canadian artist and fashion model jumped from a 4th floor balcony of an apartment building Wednesday around 5 PM in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal. We're told paramedics rushed to the scene and performed CPR, but could not revive him.

We spoke with Genest's manager, Karim Leduc, who tells us Rick's family believes his death was an accident. Leduc says Rick would smoke on his balcony, and lean back on a railing while doing so ... and his family believes this caused him to fall.

Leduc also says the fact Rick didn't leave any type of suicide note also plays to the family's suspicions, as he loved to write and would articulate his feelings through his work. Rick's family believes he would have left a suicide note for them.

As we reported ... Zombie Boy rose to mainstream fame in 2011 after appearing in Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" music video. That gig led to more high-profile fashion work on the runway with Rocawear's relaunch in Europe and modeling for magazines like GQ and Vanity Fair.

Lady Gaga responded to the sad news by calling the suicide of her friend, "beyond devastating." She also urged anyone suffering from mental health issues to reach out to friends and family, adding ... "We must save each other."

Zombie Boy was 32.

Phil Mickelson Dances His Ass Off ... To Sell Dress Shirts

Published | Updated

If Phil Mickelson ever gets tired of hittin' golf balls, he's got no shot at a career as a dancer -- 'cause Lefty put all of his moves on display for a new commercial ... and they ain't all that great.

The PGA Tour superstar is hockin' dress shirts these days in addition to sinking putts on weekends ... and for his first-ever ad with the shirt company -- he threw down a cascade of dad dance moves.

There was the worm ... a little John Travolta action ... and a bunch of other unrecognizable moves.

The label's called Mizzen+Main ... and Phil's got stake in it -- which explains why he's been rockin' the brand.

Mickelson's donned the shirts during golf tourneys ... and Tiger Woods burned him for it back in April ... telling reporters, "The only thing that was missing was a tie."
