We're told Shia was the instigator in another testosterone-fueled incident just a few weeks ago -- in which bar staff had to break up close to 15 people before an intense pushing match turned into an all-out brawl.

As for Shia's fight this weekend, Mad Bull's owner Richard Disisto tells us, "The boys were out drinking, boys had too much to drink, one guy comments to the other and the next thing you know someone gets punched. Whattya gonna do? It happens."

As we previously reported, cops arrived to the scene and put Shia in handcuffs -- but he was never arrested.

Sammi issued the mea culpa last night in NYC with "Jersey" co-star Deena -- telling us, "Violence is not the answer."

Published | Updated

She coldcocked Ronnie with a HAYMAKER on an episode of "Jersey Shore" -- but Sammi Sweetheart ain't facing the same fate as "Teen Mom" Amber Portwood ... in fact, she's off the hook completely ... for now.

It was a pretty shocking promo for this week's episode -- Sammi slugs Ronnie across the jaw during an argument ... an act of violence nearly identical to the thrashing Amber Portwood unleashed on her baby daddy just a few months ago ... the same thrashing that landed her behind bars.

As we previously reported, Amber was charged with felony domestic violence over the on-air beatdown -- but according to the Chief of Seaside Police, Sammi won't be prosecuted whatsoever ... at least until Ronnie decides to press charges.

Calls to Ronnie's rep weren't returned -- but seeing as the footage was shot last summer, we're guessing he's moved on. Meanwhile, Amber still faces three years in prison.

Ricky tells us he tried to help get his brother past the hired muscle ... but Joc's security wasn't having it -- and roughed him up pretty bad instead.

Ricky claims he suffered some nasty cuts to his head during the melee -- before he and Raz were both forcefully thrown out of the Atrium Event Center (see video).

Mike Epps just got sued for $1 million for punching a photog back in November -- but the victim claims the violence didn't end there ... accusing Epps' friends of firing shots at him as he tried to escape.

Cameraman Douglas Thornton filed the seven-figure lawsuit today in Michigan -- claiming he was covering a public event hosted for Epps at the Key Club in Detroit. According to Thornton, Epps went ballistic and started grabbing at Thornton's camera ... at which point a fist-flying brawl erupted.

Thornton claims Epps unleashed a "brutal beating" -- and after Thornton was physically removed from the club, "members of Epps' entourage fired several shots at Thornton who ran for his life."

'Teen Mom' -- Staging Another Controversy?

Published | Updated

It appeared as if "Teen Mom" dad Gary Shirley got into another random "controversy" last night -- and the whole thing just "happened" to have been captured on tape. Coincidence? We think not.

The newest drama went down at Buffalo Wild Wings in Anderson, Indiana -- where Gary ran into Amber Portwood's newly crowned ex-boyfriend Clint ... and got into a verbal confrontation with Clint's brother.

But here's the rub -- once again, Gary's friend taped the whole thing ... only this time, he was inciting other people in the restaurant and threatening to make them "famous" by selling the video to other media outlets.

It's clear Gary knows what his friend is up to -- so we gotta ask ... is the whole thing a setup to make money? And if Gary knows conflict sells ... was the "violence" between him and Amber staged?

Amber told police the violence was "real" and not made-for-TV -- are you buyin' that?

In the suit, Larsen -- a Seahawks season ticket holder -- claims he had been waving a pro-Seahawks sign ... which made him a perfect snowball target.

Larsen claims Ellis said the snowball toss was "all in fun" -- but Larsen says he was seriously messed up in the incident ... and has suffered physical injury, humiliation, mental distress, pain and wage loss.

No word on how much cash Larsen is looking to rake in.

Our photog only caught a couple of seconds of what went down (literally, you'll probably have to replay a few times). But a source tells us Marley -- who baby daddied five kids with Lauryn Hill -- mistook someone outside the club as a valet, and that person took offense.

We're told Marley and the guy traded words and eventually fought. Sources say an off-duty cop who works at the club maced all involved - eventually putting Marley in the chokehold.

Marley tells TMZ he was simply defending himself and feels the off-duty cop "went overboard." He says he'll look into pressing charges because he "can't just let this go."

Sources tell us the two hung out for a while -- and even snapped this little picture together.

How cute.

Ronnie from 'Jersey Shore' Indicted for Punch

Ronnie Ortiz from "Jersey Shore" was indicted by a grand jury today in Ocean County on an assault charge stemming from a fight that went down during season one of the show.

Ortiz was charged with one count of third-degree assault ... punishable by up to five years in state prison. The alleged incident went down September 4, 2009 in Seaside Heights, NJ.

Sources tell TMZ the reason it took so long to charge him was because both sides were trying to reach a plea agreement, but couldn't. We're told a plea still could happen down the road.

The guy on the receiving end of the alleged punch, Stephen Izzo, has a pending lawsuit against Ronnie, MTV, and the producers of the show.

A rep for Ronnie tells TMZ, "This comes as a complete shock to us, as far as we know, our attorneys have been in contact with the prosecutors office and we are waiting to see the documents."
