Rocky's not taking any mess on his set -- Sylvester Stallone had to bust up a very real brawl during filming of the latest Rocky flick, "Creed" ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to production say things went ballistic in Aston, PA Monday when boxer/actor Tony Bellew -- who's playing "Pretty" Ricky -- dove out of the boxing ring, mid-scene, and began unloading on the guy playing his corner coach. It was NOT part of the scene.

Sly still has the eye of the tiger -- we're told the fight was broken up when he, and a few others, jumped in to pull the men apart.

It's not clear what prompted the fight, but we're told security threw everyone out. Unclear at this point, if anyone plans to press charges.

"Point Break" actor John Philbin was arrested Saturday after a domestic incident with his girlfriend that allegedly ended with him going for a gun.

Law enforcement sources tell us officers were dispatched to Philbin's L.A. home after they got a call that he and his GF were having a loud, heated argument.

When officers arrived ... they were told Philbin had been waving around a gun, and stepped outside his home with the firearm. We're told a neighbor eventually convinced him to hand over the weapon, and then he took a walk.

When Philbin returned home cops arrested and booked him for brandishing a gun.

He's still in custody.

It seems Jack Nicholson CAN handle the truth of the Lakers sucky season ... showing up to the game Sunday after hinting to TMZ Sports that he might be putting his fandom on hold for a while.

We ran into Jack last week in L.A. and we asked the screen icon if his nearly 30 year love affair with the Purple and Gold is in jeopardy due to the fact that the team stinks to high heaven.

At the time, Nicholson seemed to indicate that he might be willing to sell his tickets, thus giving up his #1 fan status forever.

But when the Lake Show took on (and lost to) the OKC Thunder on Sunday at Staples, Jack was back where he used to always be ... courtside.

Rihanna and Leo DiCaprio should be a perfect match -- neither's into settling down with one person for too long -- but now that they're banging ... one of them is way more committed than the other.

We got pics of RiRi and Leo getting cozy recently at her birthday party -- which he helped organize -- and sources at the bash tell us one thing was clear ... Rihanna's the clingy one.

We're told Leo is affectionate enough -- they engaged in plenty of PDA -- but he could barely get a moment to himself. As one source put it, "she's the baddest bitch in the party, but she's following him everywhere."

We're told they've been hooking up for about 3 months, but it's still not exclusive -- more like they're each other's first choice. Not that anyone's crying for either of them.

Dakota Johnson has joined ISIS ... well, at least a character she played on "Saturday Night Live" -- and the Internet went CRAZY!

Check out the video ....Dakota's dropped off at the airport by her dad -- played by Taran Killam -- but instead of joining the army like the Toyota commercial ... she joins the infamously savage org.

So we gotta ask ...

Cops are flustered as to how the Lupita Nyong'o Oscar dress escaped detection when it was taken from her hotel room, but now we know ... it was thrown off her balcony.

TMZ broke the story ... the surveillance video was unhelpful. The cameras weren't trained on Lupita's door and none of the cameras on the floor showed anything suspicious.

The guy who stole the dress -- who called TMZ Friday with a road map to recovery in The London West Hollywood bathroom -- told us he knew where the cameras were placed in the hallway so he was never seen. As for the dress ... he said he threw it over the balcony and someone on the ground picked it up.

As we reported ... the thief says he took 2 of the pearls off of the dress and went down to the Garment District for appraisal, but found they were worthless fakes. That's when the thief took the dress back to the hotel.

The thief told us he knew Lupita was in the room where they took the dress and waited for the opportunity to enter ... which they did when they found the door was ajar.

By the way ... the thief also says he saw Lupita's Oscar gift bag -- valued at $125,000 which he didn't take. Looks like he chose wrong.

Building Michael Bay's new mansion transformed a construction worker into an injured mess ... according to a new lawsuit filed by the guy.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ ... the worker says Bay didn't warn him about a dangerous hole on the property ... which was covered with plastic back in February 2013. In the suit, he says he tumbled through the opening, and was seriously injured.

The worker isn't specific about his injuries in the lawsuit, but says he was hospitalized ... and paid out of pocket for his medical expenses. He also says he couldn't work while he was injured. He's suing to get reimbursed for his medical bills ... as well as damages.

The mansion's been a long, slow, ordeal for the blockbuster director. He bought the property way back in 2009, demolished the home that was there, and eventually started construction on the new crib.

It's turning into the greatest Oscar story in years. Lupita Nyong'o's stolen Oscar dress -- which was reportedly worth between $150,000 and $10 MILLION -- appears to be all smoke and mirrors.

TMZ broke the story ... the thief called us Friday afternoon and said he took 2 of the pearls down to the Garment District in L.A. and learned they were fake. That's when he returned the dress to the hotel.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... Calvin Klein's people never told them if the pearls were real or fake. We're told the only person who represented the pearls as real and valued the dress at $150K was Lupita's stylist.

A source directly connected with the Women's Creative Director of Calvin Klein, Francisco Costa, put it this way to TMZ, "Did anyone ever say they were real from Calvin Klein? I always assumed everyone knew they were fake, but I guess not."

The source awesomely adds, "Do they really make dresses out of real jewels since Cleopatra died?"

Michelle Rodriguez has a different take in the lack of diversity in Hollywood ... she thinks it's ridiculous to make things right by making superheros less white.

Rodriguez was cruising out of Katsuya Friday night when she shot down rumors she's in talks to play the Green Lantern ... while also throwing shade at minorities who play white superheroes.

Michelle has evidence it's happening. Cases in point ... Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury ... and the online campaign for Idris Elba to become Bond.

Rodriguez' beef seems to revolve around the lack of creativity. Check out the video. It's interesting.

2:16 PM PST -- Michelle just posted an apology video on Facebook directed towards anyone who took offense ... then offered up a more detailed explanation of what she was trying to say.

Lupita Nyong'o's Oscar gown was returned to The London West Hollywood Friday afternoon where it was taken 2 days earlier ... and the thief called TMZ to tell us where it could be found and added it was a worthless fake.

A guy called us at around 2:30 PM Friday and said he had taken the dress from Lupita's hotel room after he noticed the door was ajar. He said he and others took 2 pearls off of the dress and took them to the garment district in downtown L.A. ... where they were told they weren't real.

The thief says he decided to take the dress back to the London in a garment bag that was inside a trash bag that he deposited in a 2nd floor bathroom adjacent to a fitness center.

We contacted the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. and gave them the info. They went over to the hotel and retrieved the bag and they found a garment bag with the dress inside.

Law enforcement says they were told the Calvin Klein dress was worth $150K, but the thief says it's almost worthless.

The thief told us he returned the bag and called us because he wanted the world to know "Hollywood's fake bulls**t."

Leonard Nimoy, who famously played Mr. Spock, died at home Friday morning in Bel-Air... after battling chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

The "Star Trek" star announced last year that he was battling the disease and attributed it to years and years of smoking. He had given up the habit 30 years ago.

TMZ broke the story ... Nimoy checked into UCLA Medical Center last week for intense chest pains -- but was eventually released.

Nimoy started playing Mr. Spock when the TV show debuted in 1966 ... and is the only actor to appear in every episode of that original series. He continued in the Spock role through most of the movies -- including the most recent reboot in 2013.

Aside from acting ... Nimoy also wrote books of poetry, 2 autobiographies, and even recorded albums ... mostly cover songs.

Nimoy tweeted for the last time on Feb. 22, saying ... "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP"

He was 83.

The Trekkie In Chief, President Obama released a statement saying ... "Long before being nerdy was cool, there was Leonard Nimoy ... I loved Spock."

Nimoy's longtime co-star William Shatner tells us, "I loved him like a brother. We will all miss his humor, this talent, and his capacity to love."

Famed director David O. Russell went on a tear against Jennifer Lawrence and Harvey Weinstein during the filming of the movie "Joy" ... this according to an eyewitness on the set.

We're told there was a loud argument Tuesday on the Boston set between David and Jennifer, and it started over a scene. The eyewitness says David started screaming at her ... it was ear-piercing and laced with profanities.

A rep for the movie's studio -- Fox 2000 -- tells us yes, there was screaming, but it was all method acting. David was just getting J. Law amped-up for a scene in which she screams at someone.

But it doesn't end there. We're also told Miramax honcho Harvey Weinstein showed up on the set Wednesday to say hi to Jennifer, but David ordered him to leave. Harvey got as far as the makeup trailer before getting booted.

The studio rep says Harvey was told Tuesday things were moving at warp speed and his visit would be a distraction, but he showed up anyway ... unannounced.

And the eyewitness tells us a major exec for Fox was reamed out by David because she was trying to defend the line producer who David wants to fire. The eyewitness says it got so bad the exec started crying. The studio rep says that's ridiculous ... there was a "heated" argument over the line producer, but she didn't cry.

You may recall David's nuclear argument with Lily Tomlin during filming of "I Heart Huckabees."

Seth MacFarlane screwed a talking bottle opener company by hawking a rip-off version to promote "Ted" ... this according to the inventor of the talking bottle opener -- and to make things right, he's looking for lots of dough.

The creator says he's been selling talking bottle openers for years -- over 10 million units worldwide to date -- and licensed the concept to several companies ... including Twentieth Century Fox, who made "Family Guy" talking openers in 2006.

According to the suit ... a special edition "Ted" DVD was released in 2012 with a talking bottle opener which he says copies his openers -- and because of the "Family Guy" product he made, the creator believes Seth intentionally jacked him.

The guy wants ALL the money made off of the product -- plus, NINE TIMES the damages.

"Whiplash" star J.K. Simmons went off again -- but instead of throwing chairs ... he was tossing out free Mexican food to cops at his favorite lunch spot.

Fresh off his Oscar win -- for playing a violent hard-ass -- Simmons flipped the script while grabbing lunch Tuesday at Poquito Más in the Valley. We're told he was buying for 2 friends, and got his usual ... a scampi burrito -- but while ordering he saw a couple of LAPD officers in line and picked up their tab too.

Looking to spread even more love ... J.K. stepped up again when a 3rd cop walked into the restaurant.

We're told Simmons dropped about 50 bucks for all six meals -- which makes the moral of this story: Always be generous. Especially when you can get a great deal.

Marshawn Lynch thinks the biopic about his life growing up in Oakland is TERRIBLE and is demanding wholesale changes to the project before it can be released ... TMZ Sports has learned.

A four-minute-plus "promo" for "Family First the Marshawn Lynch Story" -- which stars Lynch as himself -- was released Tuesday and we're told Marshawn went Beast Mode when he saw it ... in a bad way.

"It was the quality, It doesn't look like some sh*t nobody would want their name attached to" ... one source close to Marshawn tells us.

We're told Marshawn thought the film (which was his idea) was going to look like a big budget Hollywood affair ... but, in his cinematic opinion, ultimately felt the sound, editing, and lighting were "not good at all."

The news came as a shock to the film's director Mario Bobino -- who says he was blindsided by Marshawn's less-than-encouraging take on the project.

"I've known Marshawn his whole life. All of the sudden he's mad at me and now doesn't want the film to see the light of day. I'm upset by this because he fully committed to see the project through and now he wants out," Bobino tells us.

Mario says he met with some of Lynch's reps Wednesday and temporarily agreed to remove the clip from the Internet while he makes some changes ... but insists the movie is coming out "no matter what."

He also claims the mega rich NFL superstar's actions are hurting the other actors who appear in the movie ... including family members.

The "Remember the Titans" actor who starred as a coach in the film -- and was NOT named Denzel Washington -- got busted for DUI in South Carolina.

Will Patton, who ended up being Denzel's assistant coach in the classic football flick ... was arrested Tuesday night in Isle of Palms, SC. He was released on $997 bond.

Patton played Coach Bill Yoast in 'Titans' -- and 10-year-old Hayden Panettiere played his daughter. He also starred in "Armaggedon" and "Gone in 60 Seconds."

Patton's hometown is Charleston ... not far from Isle of Palms. He'll be back in court next month to face the DUI.
