Montana Yao has officially filed divorce docs seeking to end her 9-month marriage to NBA player Malik Beasley, TMZ Sports has learned.
Yao filed the papers this week in Minnesota, where the family has been living since Malik was traded to the Timberwolves back in February.
We're told the couple was married on March 5, 2020. They have one young child together.
As we previously reported, Yao felt "blindsided" by recent photos of Beasley holding hands in public with Larsa Pippen during a Nov. 23 outing in Miami.
The photos show 24-year-old Beasley and 46-year-old Pippen strolling around arm-in-arm at a public shopping area.
Yao has been posting on social media about her marriage ever since -- and on Wednesday she issued a statement saying, "Things have been pretty rough I'm not going to lie."
Montana added, "We were told to leave our family home 10 days ago and just like you all I'm pretty confused."
She continued, "There have been no public or private addressing of the situation nor any type of apology."
We reached out to Beasley's reps for comment -- so far, no word back.
Beasley was a 1st round pick in the 2016 NBA Draft. He averaged 20.7 points per game with Minnesota in the 14 games he played with the T-Wolves in 2020.
Oh, and he also signed a 4-year, $60 MILLION deal just last month.

NBA's DeMar DeRozan 7-Year-Old Daughter Saved the Day Credited With Foiling Home Intruder's Plans

DeMar DeRozan's 7-year-old daughter is a hero -- because she's the one who spotted an intruder at their L.A. home and immediately sounded the alarm leading to his arrest ... this, according to law enforcement.
Officials say there's video surveillance that shows the suspect -- 22-year-old Justin Bergquist -- peeping inside DeRozan's house on Nov. 19 around 7 PM.
The footage also allegedly shows Bergquist entering the home through a sliding glass door. Officials say he spent 17 minutes inside the home -- shirtless -- until he ran into DeMar's daughter.
According to the police report, "When the suspect saw [DeMar's daughter], he put his finger to his lips and signaled for her to be quiet."
But, DeMar's daughter knew better ... and smartly ran downstairs and screamed for her parents.
That's when DeMar sprung into action -- scouring the house for the suspect, who made a break for it and ultimately fled from the home.
DeMar's GF called 911 -- and the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. responded to the scene. Bergquist was eventually located and arrested.
Law enforcement claims Bergquist said he was trying to find Kylie Jenner's home that night -- but hit the wrong house by accident.
The DeRozans claim Bergquist caused significant damage to one of the sliding glass doors, which will cost $15,000 to repair.
Bergquist is now facing a felony burglary charge -- and he's been ordered to stay away from both DeMar and Kylie.
ICYMI: #Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan confirmed TMZ's report that he had to confront an intruder that entered his LA-area house while he and his family were inside about two weeks ago.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 'I've Had Prostate Cancer, Leukemia' ... & 'Heart Bypass Surgery'
-
Breaking News
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is opening up about his personal health struggles -- revealing he's had TWO bouts with cancer AND a major heart surgery.
The 73-year-old NBA legend spells it all out in an essay for WebMD in which he argues about racial inequality with the current health care system in the U.S.
In his article, KAJ goes into detail about his own health issues -- admitting his fame and wealth have given him advantages that "many others in the Black community do not have."
As Kareem points out ... "I’ve been fortunate because my celebrity has brought me enough financial security to receive excellent medical attention."
"No one wants an NBA legend dying on their watch. Imagine the Yelp reviews."
In his article, Kareem says he was diagnosed with leukemia in 2008 -- but doesn't specify when he battled prostate cancer or underwent heart surgery.
Kareem says he's also "lucky" one of his sons is an orthopedic surgeon and another is a hospital administrator ... which means, "Dad gets to nag them for medical advice whenever he wants."
As for the racial issues with health care, Kareem says Black Americans are "most in need of medical services" but "they actually receive the lowest level."
Kareem says the issue of insufficient health care for Black people is a "more insidious and damaging threat" to the community than police brutality.
He points out the COVID-19 pandemic as an example ... claiming the death rate among Black people is 3.6 times higher than white people.
Part of that reason, KAJ says, is the underlying conditions Black people experience due to the systemic racism that still exists today.
"Having lesser education, and less financial resources, means less opportunity to compete for higher education, which means less opportunity for better paying jobs."
The solution?? Abdul-Jabbar says we must continue to fight systemic racism on a daily basis ... and not let the foot off the gas.
"Black lives have to matter in every aspect of American society if they are to thrive."

James Harden Shows Up At Rockets Camp ... After Reported Vegas Trip

11:21 AM PT -- 12/8 -- The man of the hour has finally showed up to training camp ... with ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reporting the team's superstar has arrived at the Toyota Center and just underwent COVID testing.
Worth noting -- Harden also made headlines on Tuesday for reportedly telling Houston's front office he'd be open to a trade to the Philadelphia 76ers.
What happens in Vegas doesn't happen at Houston Rockets camp ... and that may be why James Harden has yet to join his team.
The NBA superstar has been partying it up in recent days -- from ragers with rapper Lil Baby on Thursday to reportedly hitting up Drai's nightclub in Sin City on Sunday night.
It sounds like a hell of a time, except the Rockets expected Harden to show up for an individual workout on Sunday ... but later told staffers he would arrive at camp "soon."
Of course, players are required to quarantine in their home markets before joining the team ... something Harden wasn't doing while hanging with Lil Baby.
Rockets head coach, Stephen Silas, gave an update on The Beard's absence at camp on Monday ... saying he is unsure when the star will show up.
"There is no timetable, as far as I know. It is a setback," Coach said. "You want your best player to be here."
When asked if Harden is sending a message through his no-show, Silas says it's up to the 31-year-old baller to share.
"I have no clarity about the message, honestly. I take it basically at face value that he’s not here and what the reasoning is, is on him."
"He’s the one who can explain why or why not he's not here. For me to make inferences and think about the possibilities isn't real to me."
The drama comes weeks after ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Harden wanted to be traded to the Brooklyn Nets ... but Silas says #13 is the one who has to come clean on what's really going on.
"What's real is he's not here and he has a reason, but that's on him to tell whatever his reason is."
Sooooooo ......... what's up, James?!

Would you really have expected anything else from His Airness?!
Michael Jordan's golf course in Florida features flying drones that deliver food and booze straight to the fairways ... and video captured by tennis star Caroline Wozniacki at the place this week shows it's all AWESOME!!!
The course -- which just opened in 2019 after YEARS of planning, developing and constructing -- is insane ... it's called The Grove XXIII and it's built on a huge plot of land in Hobe Sound, FL.
The holes are super sleek, and the club has a dope 15,000-square-foot clubhouse ... but the coolest part has got to be the drones!!
MJ replaced beer carts with flying ships that bring alcohol and snacks to golfers ... and in videos that show the whole process, you can see just how cool it is.
Wozniacki -- who was getting in some run on the course this week -- filmed the whole thing ... as did others, and you can see it's really freakin' cool.
Michael Jordan's course, The Grove XXIII... well its just the future!! Spent all morning trying to book on here!

LeBron James 'Hurt' By Kyrie's Clutch Comment ... 'Are You F***ing Kidding Me?'

"When I was seeing that and I read it, and then I got the full transcript and I heard it, I was like, 'Man, f**k.' I was like, 'Are you f***ing kidding me?'
LeBron James is breaking his silence on Kyrie Irving's apparent shot at the Lakers superstar's clutch abilities during the NBA Finals ... admitting, "It kind of hurt me a little bit."
Uncle Drew raised eyebrows back in October when he spoke about teaming up with Kevin Durant in Brooklyn ... saying, "One thing I've always been comfortable with, I felt like I was the best option on every team I played for down the stretch," Irving said via "The Etcs" podcast.
"This is the first time in my career I've looked down and be like, 'That motherf**ker can make that shot too.'"
10 seconds left. Who you got taking the shot?? 😰

Of course, many considered the words a direct shot at LeBron, but Irving quickly denied that ... saying, "Why must it always be brother against brother? Why?"
Kyrie added, "If I'm addressing anyone, I'll say their name."
LeBron said he was shocked by the comments, insisting he wanted nothing but the best for Irving during their 3 years together on the Cavs.
LeBron notes things "could never align" with Irving in Cleveland ... "But I only cared about his well-being, both on and off the floor."
As for the timing of Irving's comments, LBJ said, "It was a f**ked up time ... Because it was the Finals ... the middle of the Finals."
James admitted he's gotten used to distractions on the biggest stage ... which is why he was able to block the outside noise en route to bringing home the championship in 2020.

Scottie Pippen Addressed MJ Over 'Last Dance' Doc ... 'I Wasn't Too Pleased'
-
Breaking News
Scottie Pippen says "The Last Dance" didn't tell the REAL story of the '90s Chicago Bulls ... and he was so upset about it, he directly voiced his frustrations to Michael Jordan.
The 10-part series documentary was one of the most-watched series in 2020 ... with fans getting an inside look at MJ and the Bulls' 6 NBA title runs.
The doc received mostly positive reviews -- it won an Emmy for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series -- but Pippen says he wasn't happy with the finished product.
"I don’t think it was that accurate in terms of really defining what was accomplished in one of the greatest eras of basketball, but also by two of the greatest players – and one could even put that aside and say the greatest team of all time," Pippen told The Guardian.
"I didn’t think those things stood out in the documentary. I thought it was more about Michael trying to uplift himself and to be glorified."
Pippen says he personally hit up MJ about his frustrations ... but it was only a brief interaction.
"I told him I wasn’t too pleased with it. He accepted it. He said, 'Hey, you’re right.' That was pretty much it."
While Pippen claims the doc was a fluff piece on MJ's legacy, he also admits he doesn't think it did His Airness many favors.
"I think it also backfired to some degree in that people got a chance to see what kind of personality Michael had."
Sounds like these two guys need to have a face-to-face and hash things out.
Maybe roll the cameras and add a bonus Part 11 of the doc??

"[Jake Paul] had too much talent for Nate Robinson. I'd like to get Nate down here for a few weeks and train him and get a rematch."
That's 71-year-old boxing legend George Foreman -- fresh off watching 23-year-old Paul DOMINATE Robinson on the Tyson-Jones Jr. undercard last weekend -- offering to train the ex-NBA star for a rematch with the popular YouTuber.
Most people say 36-year-old Robinson -- who was finished with a devastating KO punch in the 2nd round -- should NEVER fight again.
My God 😱😱

The way Nate Robinson landed on the canvas. Good stuff by Jake Paul #tysonvsjones pic.twitter.com/4STxSBjgaK
Not Foreman -- the 2x World Heavyweight Champ who faced Muhammad Ali and beat Joe Frazier (and so many other heavyweights) -- who says Robinson has untapped talent.
"I can turn him into a 5, 6 round fighter in no-time flat. Make him do what I say," Foreman says.
"He may not want to box again, but I wouldn't want him to leave without doing a better show than he put on. You don't wanna go on like that."
Of course, it's highly unlikely Nate would get an immediate rematch. Paul wants to fight Conor McGregor ... and everyone from Antonio Tarver to Evander Kane has called out the YT star.
Down the road ... why not?
If it happens, real talk -- does Foreman actually believe he can train Robinson to beat the dude who just whooped him??
We asked George.
"I can. I can."

When reporters asked him about the attempted burglary, he simply said ... "Yeah, everything good. I grew up in Compton, CA -- I've been through worse."
There you have it!!! Tough dude right here.
Scary moment for NBA star DeMar DeRozan ... who chased an intruder out of his L.A.-area home after a terrifying encounter with his kids, TMZ Sports has learned.
Our sources tell us ... the man broke into DeRozan's home on Nov. 19 and made his way upstairs into a play area where at least one of DeMar's kids was hanging out.
We're told 31-year-old DeRozan -- who's 6'6", 220 pounds -- heard the commotion and raced to the area to see what was going on, coming "face-to-face" with the intruder in the process.
Our sources say DeRozan then "chased the man out of his house."
Law enforcement sources tell us the man fled the area -- before returning to DeRozan's gated community a short time later.
When the alleged intruder attempted to get back in to the gated community, security stopped him and called police.
According to our sources, the suspect told cops DeRozan's home was not his intended target -- he was trying to get to Kylie Jenner's home but made a mistake.
As we previously reported, the man was eventually arrested and has been charged with 1 count of felony burglary.
He's also been hit with a restraining order -- prohibiting him from getting anywhere close to DeMar's home and Kylie's home.
DeMar's not the first celeb to have issues with home security in a gated community, you'll remember a man scaled the hill behind Kendall Jenner's home a few years ago ... Kris Jenner also had a man break into her community several times.

Agent Zero says Russell Westbrook can have #0 in D.C. if he wants it ... 'cause Gilbert Arenas is giving his official blessing to let the new Wizards star wear his old number.
Russ was traded to Washington in a swap with John Wall earlier this week ... and the team introduced Brodie on social media with edited pics of the guard wearing a #4 jersey (the same digit he wore in high school).
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
So ... why change from the number he had his whole NBA career?? Arenas is easily one of the best players in franchise history ... and no one has donned #0 since he left the team in 2010.
But, that could change this season ... with the 3-time All-NBAer offering up his beloved number to the 2017 MVP on Thursday.
"'0' is all u Brodie 🙏," Arenas said on Instagram. "it will be a honor 💯"
No word on whether Westbrook will accept the offer ... but it sure is weird to see him wearing anything other than #0.

John Wall is pouring his heart out to his fans in Washington D.C. after being traded to Houston ... thanking his supporters for treating him like family over the past 10 years.
The #1 overall pick in 2010 was just shipped to the Rockets in exchange for Russell Westbrook in a blockbuster trade on Wednesday ... officially ending his run in the nation's capital.
Wall -- who was beloved in the city and active in the community since joining the NBA -- was sure to thank his former home in an emotional tribute on Thursday.
"I came to D.C. as a skinny 19-year-old with big dreams and goals," Wall said.
"You embraced me and my family with open arms. You rocked with me from day one until now."
He continued ... "From a young rookie to an All-Star, I did my best to make you proud. Through good times like that Game 6 versus Boston, through injuries & rehab, I always felt the love from you."
"I appreciate you and will ALWAYS have love for D.C."

Wall says he'll always appreciate everyone in D.C. ... no matter what team he's suiting up for.
"I may not wear the jersey anymore but I will never forget what it meant to represent for y'all."

Nice little Thursday for Anthony Davis ... who's expected to sign a 5-year, $190 MILLION contract to remain with the L.A. Lakers.
The 27-year-old free agent will sign the deal at some point today, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski ... putting the Lakers in a great position to repeat as NBA champs.
Davis will make $32.7 million this season and enjoy annual increases that will pay him $43.2 in the 5th year of the deal.
There was some concern Davis could leave L.A. for another market -- but in the end, the money and the opportunity to build on a solid first season with LeBron James proved too enticing.
It also helps that LeBron and Davis are repped by the same agent, Rich Paul.
Remember, those 3 went to dinner at Nobu in Malibu back in October ... presumably to talk business.
The news on Davis' deal comes after word that LeBron is signing a 2-year, $85 million extension to stay with the Lakers.
Good luck to the rest of the NBA ...

NBA 48 Players Test Positive For COVID At Start Of 2020-21 Season

No bubble, mo' problems.
The NBA says 48 out of 546 players have tested positive for COVID-19 in its first round of testing for the 2020-21 season.
Yeah ... not great.
But, NBA officials aren't panicked just yet -- insisting they expected higher numbers off the bat as players leave their homes to rejoin their teams, according to The Athletic's Shams Charania.
The NBA says players were tested in their team's home market between Nov. 24 and Nov. 30 -- which the league has dubbed "the initial return to market testing phase."
NBA officials did not name names as to who tested positive so far -- but a spokesperson says all COVID positive players have been instructed to isolate in their team's city "until they are cleared for leaving isolation under the rules established by the NBA and the Players Association in accordance with CDC guidance."
Of course, the NBA does NOT plan on playing the 2020-21 season in the bubble environment at Walt Disney World in Orlando this time around ... despite the massive success it enjoyed earlier this year.
The move to host games in various cities isn't going over well with some players and execs including Philadelphia 76ers coach, Doc Rivers, who said he's "very concerned" about a bubble-free season.
Just look at the NFL ... they're not in a bubble and the 2020 season has been a mess -- with a bunch of players, coaches, execs and others testing positive on a fairly regular basis.
NFL games have been pushed, the quality of the play has been questioned ... and several top players have opted out.
The bubble-less NBA season kicks off on Dec. 22 -- let's hope everyone stays safe.

Danuel House Sorry For 'Mishap' That Led To NBA Bubble Exile ... 'Sincere Apologies'
-
Breaking News

Danuel House says he's "sincerely" sorry for his actions that got him booted from the NBA bubble in Sept. ... with the Rockets player telling reporters Wednesday the whole thing was a "mishap."
As we previously reported ... House got punted from Walt Disney World in Orlando after league officials said he violated rules by having an unauthorized guest in his hotel room.
House reportedly allowed a female COVID tester into his room ... which was a big no-no, with the NBA having a strict guest policy to try to limit a potential coronavirus spread.
House's exile was pretty big for the Rockets -- he was a key contributor who had been averaging 11 points and 6 rebounds per game in the playoffs -- and immediately after his departure, Houston got bounced by the Lakers.
Now, Danuel is breaking his silence on the incident ... issuing a mea culpa at the very beginning of his meeting with the media at Wednesday's Rockets training camp workout.
"I'd like to start off by apologizing to my team and the organization and the owner for the mishap that happened in the bubble," the 27-year-old said.
"I'm focused. It's behind me. It's in the past. New year, new season. Looking forward to growing and expanding."
House also said he was sorry to Houston's fans ... adding, "Sincere apologies from me, Danuel House Jr. to everyone."
