Another Bob Baffert bombshell ... the legendary trainer has been temporarily suspended from horseracing in the state of New York pending a full investigation into doping allegations.

... which means Baffert will likely be blocked from entering a horse in the prestigious Belmont Stakes on June 5, which is HUGE.

The New York Racing Association made the announcement on Monday -- saying Baffert is currently suspended from "entering horses in races and occupying stall space at Belmont Park, Saratoga Race Course and Aqueduct Racetrack."

"During the temporary suspension, NYRA will not accept entries or provide stall space to any individual employed by Bob Baffert Racing Stables."

NYRA says the suspension stems from Baffert's horse, Medina Spirit, testing positive for a banned substance following his victory at the 2021 Kentucky Derby ALONG with the fact several other Baffert horses have flunked drug tests over the years.

Baffert has reportedly had 5 horses test positive for banned substances since May 2020 ... and the NYRA clearly believes something fishy might be going down behind the scenes.

"In addition to the ongoing investigation into Medina Spirit’s victory in the Kentucky Derby, NYRA has taken into account the fact that other horses trained by Mr. Baffert have failed drug tests in the recent past, resulting in the assessment of penalties against him by thoroughbred racing regulators in Kentucky, California, and Arkansas."

As for the length of Baffert's suspension, the NYRA says they will wait to see the results of the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission's probe into Medina Spirit before making a final decision. No word on how long that could take ... maybe days, maybe weeks.

For his part, Bob has denied intentional wrongdoing -- saying he believes Medina Spirit tested positive for betamethasone after taking a medication prescribed by a veterinarian.

NYRA President and CEO Dave O'Rourke issues a statement on the matter -- saying, "In order to maintain a successful thoroughbred racing industry in New York, NYRA must protect the integrity of the sport for our fans, the betting public and racing participants."

"That responsibility demands the action taken today in the best interests of thoroughbred racing."

Bob Baffert says he will NOT let Medina Spirit's positive drug test get in the way of his Triple Crown bid ... claiming he plans to run the horse in the Preakness this weekend.

Of course, Baffert was suspended indefinitely by Churchill Downs on Sunday after Medina Spirit was popped for a banned substance following his victory at the Kentucky Derby.

68-year-old Baffert -- by far the most famous and successful trainer in horseracing history -- has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing ... but it's the 5th time one of Bob's horses has tested positive for an illegal substance in the past 13 months and many are skeptical.

But, Baffert appeared on Fox News Channel's "America's Newsroom" on Monday to defend himself and said matter of factly, "We did not cheat to win the Kentucky Derby."

Baffert claims he has no idea how the substance (betamethasone) got into the horse's system -- but says he's hired his own team of investigators to look into the matter.

"We hired investigators but sometimes you never find out. It’s just a tragedy what happened in this race."

Bob also claims the amount of betamethasone in Medina Spirit's system  was so low, it "wouldn’t have any effect on the horse anyway."

Despite his suspension from Churchill Downs in Kentucky, Baffert made it clear he plans to run Medina at the Preakness on Saturday, set to take place at the famous Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore.

"With all the noise ... We live in a different world now. This America is different. It was like a cancel culture kind of a thing so they’re reviewing it. I haven’t been told anything. We’re prepared to run."

Baffert's attorney, Craig Robertson, also told Fox News ... if Medina Spirit is blocked from the Preakness, they are prepared to file for a temporary restraining order against race officials in the hopes a judge will overrule the ban and clear the way for the horse to run.

Jim Carrey is taking a page from Oprah's playbook, giving away a brand new car ... and the lucky winner is a crew member on his upcoming Sonic movie.

Production sources tell TMZ ... Jim has been up in Vancouver shooting 'Sonic 2' and he wanted to do something fun for the crew and show his thanks for their hard work, so he held a raffle ... and the grand prize was a Chevy Blazer RS.

Good news ... Marcus Armitage did just that this month -- and the video of it all is pretty awesome!!!

Here's the deal ... Armitage and pro driver Paul O'Neill set out on April 8 to break the Guinness World Record for longest drive hit into a moving car.

The guys went out to an open track, set up a driving range mat and dozens of cameras -- and then Armitage went to work striping golf balls.

The dudes thought they had broken the record in one of their 1st attempts -- Armitage hit a baby fade that landed in the Beamer perfectly, and he celebrated by stripping off his shirt!!

The problem? The ball only traveled 268 yards -- JUST short of the previous 273-yard world record.

So, Armitage put his shirt back on ... and went back to work.

The 33-year-old -- who plays on The European Tour -- hit drive after drive after drive ... even cracking the car's windshield at one point in a failed attempt.

But, finally, after double-digit attempts, a 303-yard drive landed perfectly in the ride ... and the guys celebrated by spinning donuts!!

Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello can rest easy tonight ... because cops believe they've nabbed the crook who broke into their home and made off with Shawn's ride.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... LAPD officers arrested the suspect Thursday for allegedly entering the couple's home last month while they were home. Cops believe the suspect then stole the keys to Shawn's Mercedes G-Wagon and fled in it.

Turns out the key to cracking this case was ... a key! We're told police caught the suspect while following up on a trespassing call they got last week at a home in another area. Cops say that guy had a key on him, which they later discovered was a match to Shawn's G-Wagon.

Our sources say the perp's been booked on 2 felonies — burglary and grand theft auto.

We broke the story ... the suspect allegedly broke a window to get into Shawn and Camila's L.A. pad last month, before bolting in Shawn's luxury SUV.

Fortunately for the singer, he got his ride back in surprisingly good condition about a week later when cops found it parked on a residential street.

Kevin Gates is learning even a Lamborghini does not always beat a Prius ... as one of those hybrids rammed into his SUV, sending it spinning out of control.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the Baton Rouge MC was involved in a car crash Monday around 8 PM in L.A. where cops say a woman driving a Toyota Prius ran a red light before colliding with Kevin’s Lambo.

The impact was pretty intense ... cause the crash spun Kevin's SUV before it finally came to a rest about 100 feet away from the intersection. In the aftermath video, Kevin's standing in the middle of the intersection and chatting with the woman, who is sitting in the driver's seat with the door open.

Our sources say cops were called and responded to the scene where they facilitated the exchange of insurance information.

The Michigan Wolverines women's basketball team has NEVER been more excited to get the hell OFF an airplane after going through a terrifying emergency landing Saturday night following their NCAA tourney loss.

The team aircraft had major issues while flying through a string of nasty thunderstorms after departing from San Antonio -- and at one point, the cabin lost pressure and oxygen masks dropped from the ceiling.

Yeah, really scary stuff.

It all took place late Saturday after Michigan suffered a heartbreaking overtime loss to Baylor in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA Tournament.

After an 8:16 PM take-off on a Boeing 737-400 aircraft, the flight experienced rough turbulence on the way back to Ann Arbor.

The decision was made to divert the plane to Evansville, Indiana for an emergency landing -- requiring the pilots to make an "aggressive descent."

The plane eventually touched down safely just after 10 PM -- and while no one suffered any major injuries, a few passengers reported bloody noses and obviously some were shaken up.

Another plane eventually flew the team from Indiana back to Ann Arbor.

After the incident, Michigan assistant coach Toyelle Wilson tweeted -- "Just went through the worst flying experience. We are flying back to MI & hit a storm- lost pressurization- the oxygen masks dropped from the compartments."

"Told bc we dropped at a certain feet & had to use them. We have just emergency landed in Evansville, IN. Please [prayer emoji] for us."

To their credit, the team posed for a thumbs-up photo after the plane landed safely.

Saweetie said 'Take care' -- but Quavo did NOT say "take Bentley" in response ... despite what the Internet has accepted as fact.

Rumors were swirling this weekend that the Migos rapper had his now ex's luxury ride repossessed as payback for breaking up with him so publicly this past week -- but we're here to tell you definitively ... there's simply no truth to it.

Sources directly connected to Quavo tell TMZ ... he didn't repo the Bentley, and anything suggesting otherwise is flat-out false. Reports surfaced Saturday that Quavo sent the Repo Man out to Saweetie's home in the wee hours of the morning to take the car back.

Supposedly, he leased it and never put it in Saweetie's name -- and a deal he struck with the dealership allowed him to end the contract early ... which he's alleged to have done in the wake of their split. That's a cool story and all -- but we're hearing it just didn't happen.

You don't have to take our word for it either -- there's literally no evidence of this going down ... no photos or video suggesting anyone repo'd anything. The whole thing's based on speculation, as is often the case with these things.

A little backstory on this Bentley ... Quavo gifted it to Saweetie back in late December of this past year as an early Christmas present. It had a bow on it and everything -- and Saweetie was ecstatic at the time when it was unveiled to her. Makes sense, it is a beaut after all.

Of course, this all comes after Saweetie declared she was single -- while also strongly suggesting Quavo cheated during their time together as a couple. Quavo responded to her, basically saying he was disappointed in her and that she wasn't who he thought she was.

This would have been a case for Erik Estrada ... because one good chip deserves another.

A dude in Oklahoma City thought it would be a good idea to steal a Doritos truck that was sitting unattended at a local gas station. Yeah, he did that.

The dude in question -- Joshua Karpe -- and we do mean in question because a Doritos truck wrapped in one gigantic advertisement is not exactly your run-of-the-mill Honda on the road.

This was a layup for cops, who easily spotted the ad for Doritos Nacho Cheese chips.

Karpe didn't go down easy ... police chased him through 3 counties -- 90 minutes in all -- before shooting the tires out and arresting him.

Police Captain Jeff Spruill was incredulous ... “I would love to know the motivation of stealing a truck that’s very, very easy to spot and doesn’t go very fast,” adding, “What do you think you’re going to do with a truck like that?”

Sometimes it pays to be buds with Travis Scott -- like when you're getting married, and he shows up with a sick new ride at the foot of your driveway ... which he just did for his good pal.

Looks like Corey took the new car out for a spin too -- he posted a video of himself from the inside, showing off the leather interior and the Maybach logo on the back of the front seat.

President Biden had a rough go climbing the stairs to Air Force One ... tripping several times on his way to the top.

Ya gotta see the video ... Biden's hustling up the carpeted staircase when he trips not once, not twice but three times. He's holding the railing with one arm but still goes down, and even appears to bang his shin.

Biden finally makes it to the top after a few stumbling blocks, and turns around for a salute before ducking inside AF1.

The Prez is on his way from Joint Base Andrews to Atlanta, where he's meeting with community leaders in the wake of the massage parlor shootings ... and he's already putting the trip in trip.

Unclear what caused him to eat it, but you'll remember Biden suffered a hairline fracture on his right foot in November, he wore a boot to help the injury, but maybe there's still some healing left to happen.

Biden's not the only Prez to take a spill on the steps of Air Force One though, Gerald Ford took a nasty fall in 1975 when the plane touched down in rainy conditions in Austria.

We kid, of course ... any reporter who was there certainly knew it was Kamala and Doug. Still, it makes you wonder how they're plastering those decals onto AF1/2 ... is it Velcro???

Anyway, because of mechanical issues with yesterday's carrier ... VP Harris had to use another plane on Tuesday to go about her travels. Fun fact for those who didn't know: the new plane is also called Air Force Two -- whatever aircraft she's in gets that title.

The Philadelphia 76ers star gifted his brother a brand new Audi for his birthday Tuesday ... and the pass off was so sweet, it brought big bro to tears!!!

Simmons recorded the whole thing on Instagram Live ... surprising his brother, Sean, in front of around 10,000 people who were watching on the live stream.

The video is super adorable ... Simmons walked toward his garage and told Sean, his older half-brother, "I got to show you something."

He then flipped around the camera -- and BOOM, brand-new Audi SUV!!!

"So, that's your car!" Ben told Sean. "I got you a car! It's yours, man! It's all yours, man!"

Sean was in complete shock ... and started laughing -- but a short time later, the tears started flowing!!!

"Why would you go and do something like that?!" Sean said, before thanking Ben over and over again.

The cutest part of the vid? Ben said he considered buying Sean a two-door, but got the bigger version to be "baby-friendly."

Simmons then joked about Sean's tears of joy ... screaming, "He's crying on the live!"

As for why Ben didn't hand-deliver the car himself -- the NBA point guard is currently under quarantine after he and teammate Joel Embiid reportedly came into close contact recently with someone who was COVID-19 positive.

Don't worry, Ben appears to be all good -- he's reportedly producing negative test results -- and could be back in time for Sunday's game against the San Antonio Spurs.

Lyft's not waiting around for an attack to go down in one of its cars -- it's banning the maskless rider who coughed on and attacked an Uber driver.

Lyft hilariously dissed the woman who vowed she'd only use Lyft after Uber banned her. The app said it made a preemptive decision to ban the rider permanently ... citing her disrespectful behavior.

As we reported ... the woman and the Bay Area Uber driver got into a dispute over a mask policy last weekend that quickly escalated when she coughed on the driver and ripped off his mask. Cops say the woman and her 2 friends also attacked the Uber driver with what they believe to be pepper spray.

Of course, Uber banned the rider ... and shortly after the ban, she posted a video excusing her behavior. She did apologize for pretending to have COVID-19 during the incident -- admitting "that was disrespectful as f***."

However, she added she's going to sue Uber, cursed out the driver ... and said, 3 times, this is why she takes Lyft.

Jackboy's driver literally couldn't stay in his lane, according to cops, and that's what ended up leading to the rapper's Georgia arrest on a gun charge.

Monroe County cops say they pulled over the blue Lamborghini SUV Jackboy was traveling in last month when an officer noticed the driver failed to maintain his lane.

According to the report ... the cop smelled marijuana in the vehicle during the traffic stop, so he called for backup to conduct a search.

Cops say during the search, 2 unregistered firearms were discovered in the passenger side glove box where Jackboy was sitting -- a 9mm and a Glock.

According to the report ... Jackboy said he didn't know the guns were in the vehicle, and the back seat passenger claimed they were his. Problem is, according to the report, police ran Jackboy's record and discovered he was a convicted felon -- so it's illegal for him to be within arms reach of a firearm.

The "Pressure" rapper was arrested and booked for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He bonded out later the same day for $2,500, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

On the bright side, police say they let Jackboy and his crew off with a verbal warning for a small amount of weed they found -- and he seemingly didn't have to eat any of it this time.

Snoop Dogg is introducing his grandson to the culture -- the classic car culture -- while also staking his claim as the coolest grandpa on earth!!!

The Doggfather and his grandkid, Zion, hit up Mel's Drive-in on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood for some serious family bonding ... checking out the whips and jamming to Snoop's classic, "My Heat Goes Boom."

Little Zion here is the spawn of Snoop's oldest son, Corde Broadus, and he's already getting schooled in all things West Coast ... complete with low riders and g-funk music. Zion's Uncle Cordell, aka Snoop's 2nd born, was also there for the Sunday meet-up.
