If alien life is out there in this great, big universe, we're doing our best to reach it with a new message -- and this time, it's got some algebra attached. Just in case they're big on math.

NASA is partnering with some of the country's top scientific minds in hopes of broadcasting a new radio message via a high-tech telescope -- very similar to what we did in 1974 from a telescope in Puerto Rico (then called the "Arecibo").

Not to get all math-y on ya, but that message to the stars only included binary code, plus some images of our Solar System and DNA sequences. This time, we're calling it the Beacon in the Galaxy message -- and we're kicking things up a notch by transmitting math equations.

There will be other graphical information communicating some basic principles and features of our world ... including cosmic landmarks that could help aliens find Earth in the Milky Way.

Sounds neat, of course, especially if some E.T.s actually pick up our signal and respond -- but this sort of reaching out actually spurred a warning from the late, great Stephen Hawking ... who once said we should refrain from chatting, and to do more listening instead.

The reason -- he said not all potential alien life might come in peace, and if they're able to receive what we send, they can presumably come down here and do major damage with way more advanced tech than we have.

Drew Barrymore, brace yourself, because a dude from down under may have validated what you saw years ago!!!

A guy named Alex Tan was strolling on an Australian beach when he came upon something weird ... something "you see when people claim that they found aliens."

Whatever it is ... it's dead.

Tan thought it might be a possum ... or an extraterrestrial. So far no one has stepped forward to crack the mystery. It really doesn't look like anything we've seen before, so who knows?

He posted his find, and people were quick to respond. Maybe the best comment, "Experts say it tastes like chicken."

Who said baseball is boring?!?!

Tsuyoshi Shinjo, a professional baseball skipper for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, entered the stadium on a HOVER BIKE in his managerial debut ... and the video of it was incredible!!

Shinjo -- AKA "Big Boss" -- lived up to his nickname by arriving in style for his first game with the Nippon-Ham Fighters.

In the video, you can see the 50-year-old effortlessly flying the hovercraft around the stadium before his team took the field for the game.

In the clip, Shinjo gets pretty high off the ground, so you can tell he isn't afraid of heights -- he also sticks the landing smoothly ... as if he had some experience doing it before.

The "stunt" was on-brand for the Fighters' manager, who first gained a huge fanbase as a player ... making him a larger-than-life figure in Japanese pro sports.

Shinjo replaced longtime manager Hideki Kuriyama ... and told reporters that he wanted to be referred to as "Big Boss," presumably because he saw himself as a celebrity.

Tsuyoshi spent 3 seasons in MLB ... playing for the New York Mets and the San Francisco Giants. He was the first Japanese-born position player to play in the National League in 2001.

The former MLB outfielder appeared in the World Series with the Giants in 2002 ... but San Francisco came up short as they lost to the then Anaheim Angels.

Shinjo returned to Japan to play for the Nippon-Ham Fighters ... and led them to a title in his final season of pro ball.

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin thinks he has a lot in common with J.K. Rowling ... saying cancel culture has gone from shutting out people to canceling his entire country.

During a call with officials and cultural workers Friday, the President of Russia talked about his country being shunned from the rest of the world, comparing it to Rowling's experience with backlash for her comments against the trans community.

He says, “They canceled Joanne Rowling recently -- the children’s author, her books are published all over the world -- just because she didn’t satisfy the demands of gender rights."

He thinks the west is trying to do the same to his country, calling it "progressive discrimination" toward Russia.

As we've reported, Rowling has been in the hot seat for a while, due to comments she's made throughout the past year that many perceive as transphobic ... remarks she's since tried to clarify.

Putin then compared cancel culture to Nazis burning books in the 1930s ... saying it's impossible to picture something like that happening in his country.

He claims Russia is no place for intolerance, saying, "representatives from dozens of ethnic groups" have lived together for centuries.

NBA baller Myles Turner ain't a fan of bricks ... but he's still clearly cool with building things -- 'cause he just put together a Titanic replica using 9,000 Legos!!!

The Indiana Pacers center took to Twitter to show off the impressive feat ... revealing the finished plastic boat in a smiling photo.

No word on how long it took Turner to accomplish the task -- but check out the size of the piece -- it's nearly as big as the 6-foot-11 basketball player!!

"9,000 Pieces And Many Cuss Words Later…" Turner said of the boat in his post.

Of course, the achievement shouldn't shock anybody -- Turner is an avid Lego builder who's put together some seriously impressive things over the years.

In a video of his favorites that he posted to social media on Tuesday, Turner showed off that he's built a Death Star, a Batwing, a Disney castle and much more over the years.

Two dogs have been sprung from death row after allegedly killing a neighbor's cat ... this after a legal battle that lasted more than a year.

A 2-year-old pit bull named Odin, and a 6-year-old Akita mix named Lucy were caught back in January 2021 next to a dead cat named Big Boy. Animal control officers came and took the dogs to a shelter, and began legal proceedings to euthanize the pooches.

The dogs owners, Nola Lowman and her son, William Dillon Jr., hired lawyers ... who argued Odin and Lucy just came upon the cat and the probability was that a coyote killed the feline.

They pointed to not just one but 4 cat attacks in the area ... which suggested a serial animal killer was on the loose.

Authorities didn't see it their way, and ruled the 2 dogs were considered "vicious." That's a critical word, because under Maryland law animals that are labeled "vicious" must be euthanized.

According to The Washington Post, the dogs were impounded for more than a year, as lawyers racked up a $25,000 bill trying to appeal the decision.

A few weeks ago, a judge reversed the death sentence, saying the dogs had no history of aggressiveness. The judge didn't find the dogs innocent ... rather, the label "vicious" was replaced with the label "dangerous."

Jeff Bezos is very particular about his family jewels and how they're framed -- he threw a fit before his historic spaceflight because his Blue Origin jumpsuit didn't make his crotch look too hot.

The Amazon founder was quite upset when he first slipped on the spacesuit for a photo shoot last July, complaining it was a bad fit around his junk ... this according to a new Bloomberg report.

Jeff didn't run to Amazon for a quick fix, though ... instead, he flew his personal tailor down to Texas for some alterations before the big launch. Ah, the perks of being in the triple comma club.

Remember ... Jeff and Richard Branson were in a space race among billionaires and Branson made it up first. Jeff blasted off in a Blue Origin rocket that many mocked for its phallic shape. Now that we know, ya could say the spacesuit issue was perfect foreshadowing for Jeff's spaceship!!!

When Jeff and co. made it back down to Earth, social media lit him up for rocking a cowboy hat at the news conference -- so, his concerns about how his crotch looked in the suit might have been warranted.

A wise owl figured out how to commandeer a news conference by crapping all over a sign language interpreter, and it's hilarious!

The poop went down in Brisbane, Australia Wednesday ... Deputy Premier Steven Miles was giving a speech about recent flooding as the sign language interpreter dutifully translated his comments, and then ...

The owl was super strategic ... waiting for just the right moment to descend from a tree and plop a giant dump on the interpreter.

It's hard not to laugh at the mess, but even funnier is how civilized the reaction is ... it's almost like someone spilled a drop of tea on someone's coat.

What's in the box?!? Well, it depends who's asking ... because someone stole a box of disembodied human heads -- intended for medical research -- from a company truck in Denver.

And no, we're not kidding!!! Denver Police are investigating after they received a report on March 3 about a theft from a 'Freight Company' truck. Let's put it this way ... the thieves are in for the shock of their lives.

Police say, an unknown suspect or suspects stole a blue and white box of human heads from the parked truck. It happened about a week ago, but cops are now talking about it.

It's unclear if the thief knew the box had human heads inside, but cops say it had a label that said "Exempt Human Specimen."

The case is bizarre ... and has rightly spooked nearby residents.

So far, no arrests have been made ... and, police aren't sure what the suspect(s) might use the heads for or where the heads are headed.

That said, if anyone finds a box containing human heads, they are encouraged to call the Denver Police Department at 720-913-2000 ... after, of course, they come to.

Super Bowl champ Derek Wolfe checked a lifelong dream off his bucket list this week ... by hunting down and killing a massive, 2,000-pound buffalo -- and the pics are gnarly.

The 32-year-old Baltimore Ravens defensive end shared images of the aftermath to his Instagram on Sunday ... holding the buffalo's heart in his hand and showing an arrow going right through the organ.

"Took two arrows to bring this 2000lb beast down," Wolfe said of the kill. "1st at 34 yards and the second a perfect heart shot at 67 yards. A childhood dream came true for me."

Wolfe also posted up-close pics of the damage ... and yeah, there's a ton of blood.

Wolfe is usually known for tracking down quarterbacks -- he has 34 sacks on his career -- but did not play in 2021 due to an injury.

Britney Spears thinks there's something not quite right about how Brittany Murphy died a sudden death, and she has good reason to wonder ... because there's a direct connection between them.

The singer just posted about the late actress, saying she finds it "curious" Brittany died at just 32, and doesn't seem to buy the official explanation. Britney admits she's a bit late to the discussion -- she references a People cover story from last October.

As you know ... Brittany was found unresponsive back in 2009 in her Hollywood Hills home, and the coroner ultimately determined she died of drug intoxication and untreated pneumonia.

What's interesting is the fact Murphy bought that house from Spears, who lived there back when she was dating Justin Timberlake.

Even eerier ... Murphy's husband, Simon Monjack, also died in that house 5 months later, and also from drug intoxication and pneumonia.

Along with the People story, there was also an HBO documentary last year about Murphy's death -- which has clearly piqued Britney's interest.

Spears didn't mention her connection to Murphy in her IG post -- but both Britney and Brittany didn't like staying in the house.

Monjack once said Murphy considered the home "unlucky" ... while Spears reportedly thought the place had bad spirits.

The Murphy family sold the mansion in 2011, and in 2013 it was razed and an all-new home was built.

Prince Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt's recently-adopted son, Kevin Feucht, can't believe his dad wants to un-adopt him .. and says he won't go quietly, in fact, he's looking punish him.

We got Kevin outside Wally's Monday in Bev Hills and he told us he's "shocked, disappointed, and sad" Prinz wants to reverse the adoption process. While Zsa Zsa Gabor's widower has claimed his son isn't spending time with him, Kevin says, "I've put so much effort and time into this."

Kevin tells TMZ he wants to "slightly punish" his dad, although he wasn't specific about exactly how he'd do that. Not shockingly, we think, he says Prinz has been ignoring him since last week.

You'll recall ... Anhalt says he adopted Kevin to carry on his and Zsa Zsa's royal lineage.

But, if we're keeping it real -- the adoption was featured on the reality show, "Adults Adopting Adults." When A&E canceled it after 3 episodes ... Prinz decided to reverse the adoption process.

Kevin says he really wants things to work out, knowing how big of a legacy Zsa Zsa left behind, and it sounds like he already had big plans.

Here's Daniel Radcliffe getting very much into character as Weird Al Yankovic ... talking to and getting tips from the legend himself!!!

Daniel's going all-in on the "weird" look for an upcoming biopic on the parody singer ... as you can see he's rocking a mustache, huge afro wig, checkerboard Vans, a Hawaiian shirt and some round wire-frame glasses.

Al was keeping a watchful eye from the sidelines as Daniel filmed some scenes Monday in Los Angeles for "WEIRD: The 'Weird Al' Yankovic Story" ... and in between takes Al and Daniel chopped it up on set.

It's likely Daniel was turning to Weird Al for some guidance on how to best play the role ... mannerisms, situations and whatnot ... and the pair really seemed to get along, even sharing a few laughs during some animated conversations.

The internet is going wild about Zendaya's new homage at Madame Tussauds -- ripping it for looking more like another famous face ... but the museum is standing its ground!

Madame Tussauds London unveiled the wax figure this week of the "Euphoria" star, and it has Twitter extremely divided (what else is new?) -- some say it's spot on, and others claim MT did her dirty, because it seems more like a Kylie Jenner tribute.

But, now Madame Tussauds is firing back with receipts ... claiming the statue is correct, by the numbers at least. A spokesperson says, "Our talented artists created our new Zendaya figure using measurements and references taken during her 2015 sitting."

The spokesperson added, "We understand that when fans are incredibly passionate they might feel differently, until they have had the chance to see it up close."

Translation: See it in person before ya judge.

For now, though, fans are teeing off on social media with comments like ... "The wax version of Zendaya looks like she wants to speak to the manager."

The Kylie comments are coming in hot too, and TBH ... we get it. Once you think it, it's hard NOT to see it.

Want to see another up-close look at Shaquille O'Neal's nasty feet?!

Neither did we, but the L.A. Lakers legend decided to show them off anyway on the "NBA on TNT" broadcast on Tuesday night -- and, yup, they're still gross as hell.

The Big Diesel gave the look at his gnarly feet during a pregame segment with Dwyane Wade, Adam Lefkoe and Candace Parker ... and EVERYBODY on the set was super grossed out.

Lefkoe noted the ash ... while Wade said the guy needed some Gold Bond STAT.

But, Shaq decided to take the grossness to a whole 'nother level ... saying, "First of all, that's not ash. That's dry skin!"

Wade and Lefkoe were so traumatized by it all ... they made a hilarious skit about their recovery.

Of course, this is far from the first time Shaq's proudly showed off his nasty tootsies ... he's put them on TV before and all over his social media.

A UK zoo is calling in the big guns to get its monkeys some sexual healing ... yes, that means a Marvin Gaye impersonator doing his best to get the primates in the mood!!!

The Trentham Monkey Forest in England is doing mating season big this year, hiring the singer to perform some classic Marvin hits -- naturally including "Let's Get it On."

David Largie is the man doing the serenading inside the zoo's monkey enclosure -- and since it's mating season, Park Director Matt Lovatt said "We thought it could be a creative way to encourage our females to show a little affection to males that might not have been so lucky in love."

So, basically, they're hoping Marvin's songs can get even the loneliest of monkeys laid!

Makes sense ... these classics have been promoting human hookups for decades now.

The park is hoping all of this musical foreplay results in a record number of baby monkeys being born this year.
