'Bachelorette' Garrett Apologizes for Liking Hateful Memes ... 'I Am Not Perfect'

Published | Updated

'Bachelorette' contestant Garrett -- the suitor who got Becca's first impression rose on Monday's season premiere -- is the latest to jump on the apology train this week ... in his case, for liking bigoted memes.

Garrett Yrigoyen spoke up Thursday evening after coming under fire when it was discovered he liked Instagram posts mocking transgender people, Parkland shooting survivors and immigrants ... then deleting his account.

Garrett owned up to it -- via a new Instagram account -- saying ... "I am sorry to those who I offended, and I also take full responsibility for my ‘likes’ on Instagram that were hurtful and offensive."

He also explains why he started a new account, adding ... "I decided to take it down and start fresh because I have learned an extremely valuable lesson and am taking steps to grow, become more educated, and be a better version of myself. I am not perfect, and I will never be anywhere close, but now I will always be more informed and aware of what I am liking and supporting, not just on Instagram, but in life.”

We broke the story ... Garrett APPEARS to be the guy Becca picks in the finale -- based on photos we obtained of them filming it -- but when we saw Becca out this week ... she didn't seem too concerned about his controversy.

NOFX Vegas Massacre Remarks Were 'S****y and Insensitive'

Published | Updated

10:55 AM PT -- A rep for the Camp Punk In Drublic Festival in Ohio -- where NOFX was scheduled to perform this weekend -- tells TMZ the band has been replaced in Saturday's lineup. The rep also tells us the band Me First And The Gimmie Gimmies (featuring Fat Mike) is also getting the boot. The rep says producers for the festival are shocked and disappointed by the band's recent statements.

NOFX is working its way up to an apology for saying at least it was only country fans killed in the Las Vegas massacre -- but, for now, the band is just admitting the comment was real shitty.

We're guessing frontman "Fat Mike" wrote the message ... "I can't sleep, no one in my band can. What we said in Vegas shitty and insensitive and we are all embarrassed by our remarks."

If you missed it, the group was performing Sunday in Vegas and, at the end of a song, a band member said ... "I guess you only get shot in Vegas if you're a country band." Another band member said, "At least they were country fans and no punk rock fans" killed.

Mike's message, posted on FB Thursday, said "We decided we will all get together to discuss and write an in depth, sincere, and honest apology because that's what the people we offended and hurt deserve."

Roseanne Hey, Lefties ... I'm a Jew, Quit Lynching Me!!

Published | Updated

Roseanne Barr is getting torn apart, unfairly mind you, by liberals out to attack "a Jew" ... at least according to Roseanne Barr.

Despite her twice issued threat to get off Twitter for good, Roseanne continued tweeting up a storm late Wednesday ... replying to the barrage of comments about her racist tweet and ABC swiftly responding by yanking "Roseanne" off the air.

In one tweet she said, "I'm not sure, but I think I spent the last 24 hours watching the party of inclusion, diversity, understanding, and acceptance, lynch a Jew."

Seems Roseanne's already forgotten her 'muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes' description of Valerie Jarrett.

She also claimed to be the victim of anti-Semitism when some of her detractors called her out over the 2009 photo shoot she did ... dressed as Hitler putting human-shaped cookies in an oven.

She insisted she's not a racist, and merely made, "One stupid joke in a lifetime of fighting 4 civil rights 4 all minorities."

Brian Littrell to NOFX Never Joke About Vegas Massacre ... It's Still Haunting Me

Published | Updated

Brian Littrell is calling out NOFX for its tasteless joke about the Las Vegas massacre ... because he says the horrifying event still haunts fans and performers in that city.

The Backstreet Boys singer was at LAX Wednesday, and gave us his take on NOFX crossing the line -- saying at least the people killed during the mass shooting were country fans, instead of their punk rock fans.

Fifty-eight people were killed and nearly 500 injured in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history ... something Brian says was definitely on his mind when BSB recently played in Vegas.

What's more ... Brian says NOFX is clueless about music fan bases, and has a theory about why the band made such an indecent remark.

Larry King on Roseanne I've Known Her for Years, Unbelievable ... Sound Familiar?

I DON'T KNOW THIS PERSON ...

Larry King seems baffled by everyone he's known for decades ... and yes, you can add Roseanne Barr to that list.

The ex-CNN talk show host was out Wednesday in Bev Hills reflecting on Roseanne's swift nose dive following her extremely racist tweet, saying he didn't think that was the woman he's known for 30 years ... calling her recent pivot into extreme bigotry "bizarre."

Sounds like the people he was once chummy with have changed A LOT since the good ol' days, including President Trump ... whom Larry also said he didn't know anymore.

Larry King AUGUST 2017
HE'S A DIFFERENT PERSON

On the bright side ... the ice cream cone looks delish.

'Bachelorette' Star Becca Kufrin Dodging Questions About Garrett Liking Bigoted Memes

Published | Updated

'Bachelorette' star Becca Kufrin happily smiled and posed for cameras in NYC, and appeared unfazed by our guy asking how she feels about her leading guy liking hateful memes on social media.

We got Becca leaving an event Tuesday, and a throng of fans and photogs snapped shots of her before she bolted. We tried to ask her about Garrett Yrigoyen -- the suitor who got Becca's first impression rose on Monday's season premiere, but who's also come under fire for allegedly liking Instagram posts mocking transgender people, Parkland shooting survivors and immigrants.

Garrett, who also appears to be the guy Becca picks in the finale, deleted his Instagram account after the posts were published on several blogs.

If Becca's concerned, she's not showing it in public.

Pusha T I Didn't Go Too Far on Drake Diss ... In Fact, I Need Answers!

Published | Updated

Pusha T says he has no regrets about hitting Drake with some very low blows about the child he had with an ex-porn star and taking a pic in blackface.

Push spoke with Charlamagne tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy on "The Breakfast Club" early Wednesday after dropping his epic diss track, "The Story of Adidon." PT claims Adidon is the name of Drizzy's upcoming Adidas line, and also a reference to his alleged son's name, Adonis.

Push says Drake was asking for all his tea to get spilled because he dragged Pusha's fiancee into the beef. Drake name-checked her in his response diss track, "Duppy Freestyle" -- so, basically, all bets are off now ... the way Pusha sees it, anyway.

It's clear he doesn't think he crossed the line with any of his attacks -- which included making fun of Drake's longtime OVO producer, Noah "40" Shebib, for having multiple sclerosis. In fact, Pusha told the 'Breakfast Club' he's demanding answers for Drake's blackface photo shoot, which is real.

He might not get answers, but we're sure there's a response brewing at OVO HQ.

T.I. on Roseanne Racist Tweet Fueled by Ambien?! GTFOH w/ Excuses!!!

Published | Updated

T.I. straight-up says you wouldn't let a crackhead use being on crack as an excuse for a robbery ... so there's no excusing Roseanne for firing off a racist tweet just because she was on Ambien.

We got the rapper leaving Craig's on Tuesday night in WeHo and had to ask him about "Roseanne" getting canned after the disgraced comedian said President Obama aide Valerie Jarrett was the spawn of the "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes."

T.I.'s reacting to Roseanne pulling the I-Was-Ambien-Tweeting excuse can be summed up with 3 simple letters -- SMH. We also ask the rapper about Pusha T's album cover, his beef with Drake and what it means for hip-hop.

Tip's got strong feelings about that, too.

LET THEM EAT CAKE!

"Little Women: LA" star Christy Gibel is back to getting stuff thrown in her face ... but this time she was treated to dessert instead of water.

Christy was getting into it with costar Mika Winkler at Birkholm’s Bakery in Solvang, CA for a scene from an upcoming episode, all over an imminent gastric sleeve surgery she was preparing for in an effort to lose weight.

Production sources tell us Mika had been picking on Christy leading up to this blowout, which ended with both of them getting cake smeared all over their faces. Food fight!

Christy's no stranger to on-set run-ins with her castmates -- she was on the receiving end of some H20 and a thrown glass a couple years ago at the hands of Terra Jole. BTW ... Mika is Terra's pal, so it's really no surprise she's going after Christy just as viciously.

As for the surgery ... here's hoping it goes better than her botched back procedure.

John Goodman Doggone Depressed After 'Roseanne' Gets Axed

Published | Updated

John Goodman's body language says it all -- he's beyond pissed after Roseanne Barr's racist comment led to the cancellation of their hit ABC sitcom.

Goodman -- who costarred as Dan Conner on "Roseanne" until Barr's decision to post a racist tweet resulted in the show getting the axe Tuesday -- was spotted out in New Orleans glumly walking his dog shortly after the news broke.

As we reported ... ABC made the call to pull the plug on "Roseanne" just hours after she tweeted a "joke" about former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett, saying, "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby."

Clearly, Dan's had better days ... but it could be worse. At least he still has his loving dog by his side.

BE WITH YOUR KIND ...

Marlon Wayans has an idea where Roseanne will land after ABC gave her show the boot ... and it's not with any of the major 3-letter networks.

We got the comedian at LAX on Tuesday and wanted to get his reaction to "Roseanne" getting axed just hours after a racist tweet about former President Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett.

Marlon jokes he was actually the guy behind the tweet ... for selfish reasons, but then got serious about what could be Roseanne's comeback gig. Okay, maybe he wasn't serious. Maybe. Either way, it's pretty damn hilarious.

You'll recall, Marlon was majorly pissed off last week when friends of his got arrested at a Houston's in Atlanta.

He's found way more humor in Roseanne's screwup.

Obama Aide Valerie Jarrett I'm Fine After Roseanne Attack But, I Worry About Others

Published | Updated

The woman Roseanne Barr called a baby born out of the Muslim brotherhood and 'Planet of the Apes' says she can deal with the racism -- but worries about those facing similar attacks out of the spotlight.

Barack Obama's former adviser, Valerie Jarrett, spoke on MSNBC Tuesday following Roseanne's racist comment, saying she's "fine" ... but adding she's concerned about those who don't have such a public support system coming to their defense.

She says she wants this to be a teaching moment, but notes that there are daily examples of racism black people experience that don't get the attention she's getting now.

BTW ... Valerie also calls out President Trump for setting the tone that she believes Roseanne followed and executed. Speaking of "Roseanne" ... she's all the way canceled.

She also says she got a call from Disney CEO Bob Iger, who apologized and said his company has a "zero tolerance" for such hateful comments.

'Roseanne' Canceled!!! ... After Racist Comment

Published | Updated

"Roseanne" -- the breakout hit of 2018 -- has gotten the axe just hours after Roseanne posted a tweet about former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett, saying, "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes."

ABC said, "Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show."

Reaction was unbelievably swift. Roseanne took the tweet down and apologized, but the damage was already done.

Wanda Sykes bailed instantly as a direct result of the tweet. Sara Gilbert tweeted just before ABC's announcement, "This is incredibly sad and difficult for all of us, as we've created a show that we believe in, are proud of, and that audiences love -- one that is separate and apart from the opinions and words of one cast member."

The show premiered in March to an enormous rating of 18 million viewers, triggering a slew of reboot shows. It was renewed for season 2 just days after the debut.

Wanda Sykes Quit 'Roseanne' Due to Roseanne's Racist Tweet

Published | Updated

Wanda Sykes is following Whitney Cummings out the door of "Roseanne" -- but her exit is a direct response to Roseanne Barr's racist attack on an Obama aide, a woman who's a close friend of Wanda's ... TMZ has learned.

Wanda kept it short and sweet, saying ... "I will not be returning to ['Roseanne']." The timing is no coincidence, coming within an hour of Barr's apology for calling an Obama adviser the product of "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes."

A source close to Wanda tells us Roseanne's tweet is "100 percent why [Wanda] quit." We're told Wanda and Valerie Jarrett, the Obama adviser, are friends ... and hung out together as far back as 2009, when Wanda hosted the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Wanda was a consulting producer on the hugely successful reboot, which is returning for a second season -- but, clearly, with some producing changes.

Earlier this month Whitney, who was an executive producer, announced she was leaving because she was too busy with other projects.

Daniel Craig 007 Reports for Duty Again ... But, Just 'for the Money'

Published | Updated

Well, whadya know? Daniel Craig is on set, in the role he swore he'd rather slash his wrists than play again -- Bond. James Bond.

Daniel was in Cardona, Spain Tuesday for what appears to be the start of filming for his fifth 007 flick ... and a production assistant clearly wanted to keep it under wraps. This will be the 25th installment in the franchise, and the working title is "Bond 25."

DC's looking suave as ever in the black tux during the shoot in a castle ... especially considering how staunchly he vowed he'd never put it on again.

You'll recall, back in 2015, Daniel said he was totally "over" the James Bond role, but left himself an out, saying he'd only do it again "for the money."

Word is he got plenty of it. There are all kinds of crazy numbers being reported for Daniel's salary -- some as high as $66 million!

That's a crap ton of shaken-not-stirred martinis.

Roseanne Makes Muslim-Apes 'Joke' About Obama Adviser ... Deletes & Apologizes

Published | Updated

Roseanne Barr says she's done with social media ... just hours after she fired off a racially charged tweet at a former adviser to President Obama.

Roseanne's random tweet late Monday night said, "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj." She was responding to a tweet about Valerie Jarrett, an African-American woman who was one of Obama's closest advisers while in the White House.

Early Tuesday, Roseanne deleted the tweet about Valerie ... and said she was "truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste." She also claimed she was "leaving Twitter."

Her politics have been front and center since the reboot of her show became a huge hit.

Not only does Roseanne's character embrace President Trump, but he called her to congratulate on the huge ratings ... and even took credit for them.
