Josh Hutcherson says he's absolutely THRILLED that his "Hunger Games" co-star Jennifer Lawrence crushed it at the Golden Globes this weekend ... but admits he's ready to score an award of his own.
Josh was strollin' around Beverly Hills yesterday ... and told us he was "very proud" when Will Ferrell announced J-Law as the Best Actress winner for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook."
In fact, Josh says he tried to call Jen to congratulate her on the win ... but she's too sick to talk ... possibly the result of standing too close to Hugh Jackman who was BRAGGING about his flu symptoms during the GGs.
Of course, there's no real way to prove Hugh infected Jennifer -- but we're totally blaming him anyway.
Think Jennifer Lopez was thinkin' "Gee, I'm a Dumbass" when she watched Ben Affleck -- the guy she DUMPED back in 2004 -- clean up at the Golden Globes this weekend?
We do.

Hugh Jackman's Golden Globes acceptance speech last night was stuffed up with TERRIBLE ADVICE -- when he jokes that flu shots aren't necessary -- and now, the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention are on a mission to correct his message.
A rep for the CDC tells TMZ, "I don’t know if he really meant that vaccination was not a good thing to do, but each year millions become ill with influenza; more than 200,000 may be hospitalized; and between 3,000 and 49,000 will die."
The rep adds, "The first and most important step in protecting against the flu is to get a flu vaccine each season."
For those who missed the show, Hugh took the stage after winning Best Actor in a comedy or musical -- and joked, "Sorry, I’m at the tail end of this flu and I was kicking myself for not getting the flu shot ... but it appears actually you don’t need one. I feel great!"
Say goodbye to "Grumpy Cat" ... 'cause last night, his iconic look of curmudgeoness was overtaken by Tommy Lee Jones ... who was apparently unamused with the jokes at the Golden Globes.
TLJ pulled a "not impressed' look of his own while Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiigwere cracking jokes during the presentation of the Best Actress in Comedy or Musical award.
Some say Tommy was "in" on the gag ... others say he was just being a grumpy old man.
Bottom line -- his "not amused" face has taken off in Internet-land ... and has already become a popular meme on sites like Reddit ... a la McKayla Maroney and the aforementioned "Grumpy Cat."

Jodie Foster said it wasn't a "coming out" speech, but after receiving the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement at the Golden Globes ... the legendary actress sort of did just that.
In a bizarre, rambling and aggressive speech, Foster told the crowd she was single (*wink, wink) and talked about trying to live a private life ... one which has never involved having her own reality show ... or talking about her sexual orientation.
Then, Jodie kinda sorta did an about-face, saying she did her "coming out 1,000 years ago" and went on to thank her ex-partner and co-parent, Cydney Bernard.
It's a speech that really just defies explanation, so just watch the video and piece it together for yourself.
By the way ... best line of the night was the last, when Amy Poehler, with Tina Fey by her side, ended the show by saying, "Thank you very much. We're going home with Jodie Foster."
Kobe and Vanessa Bryant launched their reconciliation tour last night by hitting up the Warner Bros. Golden Globes after-party together ... just a few days after Vanessa called off the split.
The 70th Annual Golden Globes are in full swing and as usual there's sure to be some fashion fiascoes showing up and showing off. Check out all the photos for all the hits, runs and misses from the show!
