Trump Tower Man Paints Over 'BLM' Mural Out Front ... Busted by NYPD

SMEAR JOB
@JFNYC1/Twitter

A NYC man was so intent on painting over the Black Lives Matter street mural in front of Trump Tower ... not even cops pulling him off the ground was gonna slow him down.

This wild incident went down earlier this week in the Big Apple, right in front of Trump's signature building and residence on 5th Avenue -- where a giant 'BLM' street mural was recently etched and painted right out front. It was vandalized ... again.

The camera starts rolling right in the middle of the action, with the guy in question on his hands and knees ... frantically trying to spread white and red paint over the yellow 'BLM' lettering. He's literally spreading it with his own limbs, and doesn't care who's watching.

Eventually, some NYPD cops roll up and put a stop to it. Even when the responding officer gets right up in his face and tries yanking him up, the guys keeps at it -- smearing every last drop he can. It's insane ... eventually, more cops come and restrain him.

The officers also shoo off the people that are recording, but we get the gist of it. BTW, the guy kicks a paint can as he's being led away ... perhaps as his final act of defiance.

Cops say they arrested Mark David Hutt for criminal mischief and gave him a desk appearance ticket. This marks at least the fourth time the 'BLM' mural has been vandalized since it was painted July 9.

HUE STINK
ViralHog

Of course, it's not the only place a 'BLM' mural has been tainted with paint. Another Trump-related vandalism act went down after 4th of July in the Bay Area. Those folks used paintbrushes to make a mess -- but hey, some people are old-fashioned with their dirty work.

Black Lives Matter Violent Confrontation with Cops ... Over Columbus Statue

PARK PANDEMONIUM
@ButteryBrownz/Twitter

There was a violent confrontation between police and protesters in Chicago Friday, all centered around a statue of Christopher Columbus.

It went down at Buckingham Fountain, where Black Lives Matter protesters attempted to take down the statue of Columbus -- a rapist and racist.  Demonstrators tied ropes to the statue to dislodge it.

As cops created a human barrier, protesters threw bottles, rocks and a few threw firecrackers at them, injuring several of them. Police then pepper sprayed the crowd with hoses. At least 4 protesters were injured and taken to hospitals.

Twelve protesters were arrested for battery on a police officer.

As for the statue ... it's still there, but there's a move in many cities to take Columbus statues down and put them in museums with context on what he really did in America.

Megan Thee Stallion & Tory Lanez Swarmed by Cops, Helicopter ... During His Gun Arrest

JULY 2020
SURROUNDED BY POLICE
TMZ.com

Multiple cops descended upon Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez during his gun bust, in what proved to be quite the dramatic scene in the Hollywood Hills.

TMZ got video of Tory's arrest from early Sunday morning, and it's pretty clear ... law enforcement was treating the situation very seriously, as if there might've been an active threat. Remember, they were responding to a call about 5 shots fired with the description of the SUV that was Tory's ride.

What's interesting here from the footage is that they detained everyone in the vehicle. You see a woman being told to exit the vehicle from an officer using a bullhorn off-camera -- while a helicopter is hovering above the whole time -- and you even hear her say, "My hands are up" as they direct her to walk back and get on the ground.

As that's happening, you can see another woman on the sidewalk who appears to be injured. It's unclear which one is MTS. Later, you see the same woman seated on a ledge, and at one point you can hear her turn her head and ask, "Megan are you OK?" ... making it seem like the injured woman is MTS. Tory was also nearby when the woman asked if Megan's OK. Remember, they'd all been hopping between pool parties on Saturday evening.

We broke the story ... Tory was the only one arrested that morning on a gun charge. Megan was ultimately taken to the hospital for a cut on her foot

NFL's Kenny Stills Arrested During Louisville Protest ... Mug Shot In Breonna Taylor Shirt

UPDATE

10:58 AM PT -- Stills just released another statement on the matter ... calling the whole ordeal "good trouble" and writing, "Arrested for peacefully protesting. While Breonnas Taylor’s murderers are still out on the street."

UPDATE
UPDATE

9:42 AM PT -- Stills' agent just issued a statement on the receiver's arrest ... and it's pretty powerful.

UPDATE

"Kenny Stills: - stood on a lawn - asked for justice - got arrested," Ryan Williams said. "Cops that killed Breonna Taylor: - kicked in her door - killed her - didn't get arrested."

UPDATE
UPDATE

"@KSTiLLS has officially spent more time in jail fighting for justice than the known killers who killed Breonna Taylor."

UPDATE

9:26 AM PT -- Stills has been released, jail records show ... and it didn't take long for him to continue to fight for justice for Breonna Taylor.

UPDATE

The NFL player immediately took to social media to post a pic of him in a Taylor shirt and mask ... captioning it, "#ARRESTTHECOPSWHOKILLEDBREONNATAYLOR."

UPDATE

Houston Texans star Kenny Stills was one of nearly 100 people arrested during a protest in Louisville on Tuesday ... and the WR took his mug shot in a Breonna Taylor shirt.

The 28-year-old NFL player joined 86 others in a massive protest outside the home of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron to seek justice for Taylor.

As part of the demonstration, the group of people -- which included "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams -- sat on Cameron's lawn and chanted ... urging him to levy charges against the cops involved in Taylor's tragic death.

A Lousiville Metro Police Dept. spokesperson says officers eventually told the group to leave ... but when they refused, all 87 were put in cuffs and hauled off to jail.

We're told Stills and the others were booked on 3 charges, including felony "intimidating a participant in a legal process."

As you can see in his mug shot, Stills was clearly NOT happy to be at the station ... and his shirt read, "Breonna Taylors Killers Are Still Police."

The LMPD spokesperson added of the incident, "The protestors chose to occupy the front yard of a home owned by the Kentucky Attorney General and continuously chant towards he and his neighbors."

"At his request, they were trespassed from the property. All were given the opportunity to leave, were told that remaining on the property would be unlawful, and chose not to leave."

Stills has consistently been one of the most vocal NFL players over the years when it comes to the search for social justice ... he's taken knees during the national anthem and has even tatted "Black Lives Matter" on his leg.

According to jail records, Stills was still in custody as of Wednesday morning.

UPDATE

6:27 PM PT -- Louisville PD tells TMZ ... the Kentucky AG requested cops remove the protesters because they were trespassing on his property.

UPDATE

We're told the protesters were given the opportunity to leave and were told they would be breaking the law by staying on the property, and they chose not to leave.

UPDATE

Louisville PD says 87 people were arrested and charged "due to their refusal to leave the property and their attempts to influence the decision of the Attorney General with their actions."

SEEKIN' JUSTICE
Nicole Hayden of @FriendsofNicole via TMX.news

Porsha Williams was on the front lines Tuesday of a Breonna Taylor protest in Louisville ... and left handcuffed in the back of a police van.

The 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star was arrested during a massive demonstration outside the home of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, who has yet to file criminal charges against the Louisville cops involved in Breonna's death.

As you can see ... Porsha was hauled away from Cameron's home, with her wrists in zip ties, as protesters chanted Breonna's name. Louisville PD tells us Porsha was cited for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and intimidating a participant in legal process.

Porsha was one of hundreds of people arrested at the protest, along with 'Love & Hip Hop' star Yandy Smith and reality TV star and activist Tamika Mallory.

As you know ... Kentucky's AG has been under fire for posting pictures of his engagement party instead of drilling down on the case. With no arrests or charges in the case ... protests have continued in and around Louisville.

It's been more than 4 months since 3 Louisville cops served a no-knock warrant -- at the wrong address, mind you -- shooting and killing Breonna in her own home.

Water Park Violence Cops Clash with Teens ... Punch One in the Head

UNNECESSARY FORCE
@the_real_frankwhite/Instagram

A group of teens at a Pennsylvania water park resort claim they were harassed all day by an off-duty NYPD officer, and when local cops showed up ... things got violent.

The incident went down at the Camelback Resort in Tannersville, PA. According to the father of a young man who got punched in the head by a cop ... a man who identified himself as NYPD was confrontational with the kids earlier in the day, and got them kicked out.

The dad says management told the kids they could go back to their rooms and return to the park in the morning. However, when police showed up, that off-duty cop went after them again ... which is where the video begins.

It's pretty crazy ... it appears the older man was the aggressor, yet Pocono Township PD dealt with him very calmly. Meanwhile, the teens and their group felt they were getting treated unfairly, and eventually, the cops told them to leave. That's when things got out of hand.

As one shirtless young guy was being arrested, another was taken down by 2 cops -- and one of them clearly delivered 3 brutal blows to the back of the teen's head as he's on the ground ... while the other cop forced his neck down.

The young male yelled that he's not resisting, but got punched 5 times, before he was brought to his feet and led away by cops. Those cops are now in hot water.

A rep for the Monroe County D.A. Criminal Division tells us the officers involved have been suspended, and the PA State Police have been asked to investigate further.

We also reached out to Pocono Township Police ... so far, no word back.

Pop Smoke Alleged Murderers Charged ... Death Penalty on the Table

The 2 men and 2 teens who allegedly killed Pop Smoke have been slapped with murder charges, and while the death penalty is in play ... prosecutors haven't decided yet to seek it.

The L.A. County District Attorney's Office announced criminal charges against 19-year-old Corey Walker and 18-year-old Keandre Rodgers, who were each charged with murder with special circumstance allegations that the killing went down during the commission of a robbery and burglary.

With the special circumstances, the death penalty is on the table. The D.A.'s Office adds that gang and gun allegations were made in their complaint as well.

On top of those two, a separate pair of teenagers -- the youngest being 15 and the oldest 17 -- were also charged with one count of murder and robbery in juvenile court. Their names weren't released, as they're still minors.

We broke the story ... Pop Smoke was shot and killed back in February by 4 masked gunmen after what appeared to be a home invasion robbery at his home Hollywood Hills home.

Even though the D.A.'s Office says they haven't decided on whether to pursue capital punishment yet, both adult men face still face life in prison if convicted.

UPDATE

She was arrested for misdemeanor battery.

The "Karen" who spewed multiple racist tirades in Southern California has just been charged with battery ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the notorious SoCal "Karen" is 56-year-old Lena Hernandez from Long Beach, and on Friday the Torrance City Attorney's Office charged her with misdemeanor battery.

Our sources also tell us a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge has issued an arrest warrant for Hernandez, who has not been apprehended yet.

The battery charges are related to an incident that occurred Oct. 11 at a mall in Torrance, and was reported to police later that day.

There's no video of that incident, but as we reported ...  Hernandez was recorded during a racist rant in a Torrance park last month. She was yelling at a young woman who was trying to work out in the park.

KAREN STRIKES AGAIN

Video of another incident involving Hernandez, this time in a parking lot, also surfaced and is believed to be from the same day as the park incident.

Our law enforcement sources say there is not enough evidence for prosecutors to file criminal charges against Hernandez for the incident at the park.

Caden Leggett Texas Tech Receiver Arrested ... Alleged 'Fast & Furious' Style Race

Texas Tech wide receiver Caden Leggett was arrested over the weekend ... after cops rsay he was involved in an intricate street race on Texas highways.

The scene's description is straight out of a 'Fast & Furious' movie ... according to the police report, obtained by TMZ Sports, Leggett and two others were speeding past each other at around 2 a.m. Saturday in Lubbock.

Cops say in the report Leggett was in a Mustang racing against a Dodge Challenger and another white vehicle ... when an officer caught them and tried to intervene.

According to the report, the cop was able to pull over Leggett ... but the other two got away.

In the report, cops say Leggett admitted to racing during questioning ... and say the 20-year-old's passenger revealed they were racing against another Texas Tech player, who was NOT identified in the report.

After searching Leggett's phone, cops say they found a map that appeared to be of a course throughout the city that the cars were trying to race on.

Leggett was eventually arrested and booked on a charge of misdemeanor racing on a highway. He was released on bond shortly after.

It's unclear if police are working to track down the other two alleged speeding drivers.

Leggett played in 11 out of 12 games for the Red Raiders this past season ... catching one pass and helping as a return man on special teams.

Madison, WI Cops Violent Arrest of Bat Wielding Protester ... Candidate for De-escalation?

CARRIED AWAY
Alan Robinson/Facebook

Protesting inside a restaurant with a megaphone and a baseball bat got a black man arrested in a scene that looked eerily similar to George Floyd ... but this time police were way more patient and mindful.

The bust went down Tuesday in Madison, Wisconsin where a swarm of officers descended upon the guy who'd been using his megaphone to, as they put it, disrupt the peace. He also had a baseball bat on his shoulders as he yelled at customers and restaurant staffers from point-blank range.

It took as many as 5 officers to detain 28-year-old Devonere Johnson ... who was resisting arrest. It took several cops tugging at Johnson during the struggle before they ended up with 4 officers on his back and legs. Important to note, none of them were on Johnson's neck ... though he did complain he couldn't breathe before they hoisted him off the ground.

Vigilant bystanders -- including the outspoken man recording the scene -- demanded officers release him, as they claimed he'd done nothing wrong besides using his voice to exercise his First Amendment rights.

The cops weren't having it though, and eventually carried Johnson by his legs and torso and tossed him like a sack of potatoes into a patrol unit. Somehow, Johnson, who was now handcuffed, managed to escape out of the cop car ... before they pounced on him again.

NO EXPLANATION GIVEN
Alan Robinson/Facebook

Again, the bystander with the camera didn't give up, and continued pleading with several officers to let Johnson go free. They didn't and he was officially busted for disorderly conduct while armed, resisting arrest and attempted escape.

The cops add that 2 officers suffered minor injuries during the arrest, and Johnson had bruises on his arms and legs.

The question ... was there a more peaceful way to handle the situation? He had not physically harmed anyone and, according to police, was walking away from the restaurant when they arrived. Yes, customers did seem to feel threatened, so if ya gotta arrest him was this a prime case for de-escalating before manhandling? In fairness to cops, it's possible they did attempt to do that before the video started.

BTW, the scene was still bizarre even AFTER the arrest ... watch what happened when someone tried to get all Biblical.

Strange days, indeed.

'Little Rascals' Movies 'Alfalfa' Arrested For Huffing Air Duster

You are so criminal to MEEEEEEE ... is probably what cops said to the guy who once played Alfalfa when they busted him for allegedly sucking up air duster cans.

Yes, Bug Hall -- who had the lead role in the 90s "Little Rascals" movies -- was arrested over the weekend in a Weatherford, TX hotel ... where cops responded to a call for a possible OD.

Weatherford PD tells TMZ ... one of Bug's family members actually called in asking the police to check on him. They did, and when he opened up the door ... the cops say they saw a TON of air duster cans -- used for keyboards -- all over the room.

WPD says officers asked Bug if he'd been inhaling from the cans ... and claim he admitted it. They arrested him on the spot for misdemeanor possession for use to inhale or ingest a volatile chemical. We're told Bug didn't put up a fight.

In case you didn't know, what Bug is accused of is called huffing and it's super dangerous, and criminal too.

Bug's continued acting since his days romancing Darla in "Little Rascals." He's had several one-off roles on TV shows throughout the 2000s -- but obviously seems to be on hard times now.

Eagles' Dallas Goedert Sucker Punch Suspect Arrested ... Charged With Assault

UPDATE

8:09 AM PT -- 6/21 The man suspected of punching Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert has been arrested, law enforcement tells TMZ Sports.

UPDATE

A rep for the Aberdeen Police Dept. says 29-year-old Kyle Douglas Hadala has been charged with simple assault.

UPDATE

As for Goedert, cops say he was "transported to Avera St. Lukes Hospital where he was treated and released."

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was reportedly sucker punched during a bar fight in South Dakota -- and purported video of the melee is making the rounds online.

According to ESPN, Dallas was at a restaurant in Aberdeen Friday night called Zoo Bar -- where, for some reason, a bunch of dudes started tussling with each other ... which broke out into a full-blown brawl. Dallas got dragged in -- and by that, we mean clocked and KO'd.

In surveillance footage of the fight, you can see someone who's said to be Dallas getting punched out by someone who blindsides him and comes rushing in with fists out during the mayhem. He makes contact, and Dallas hits the ground hard -- he seems to be out cold.

ESPN reports that he was taken to a hospital and is doing fine now, adding that a suspect has been arrested in connection to the attack. NJ.com broke the story first.

Unclear what led up to the altercation -- but at least Dallas appears to be okay.

Trump Rally Tulsa Woman Protesting Trump Arrested Cops Say It Was Obstruction

UPDATE

11:42 AM PT -- Tulsa PD says the woman in the "I Can't Breathe" shirt -- Sheila Buck -- was arrested for obstruction after she refused to the leave premises on her own accord ... and after campaign staffers told her to scram.

UPDATE

The department writes, "This morning at 11:30 am Tulsa Police were requested by Trump Campaign Staff to remove an individual from the secure area of the rally.

UPDATE

They add, "Tulsa Police spoke to the arrestee, Ms. Buck, for several minutes trying to convince her to leave on her own accord. After several minutes requesting her to leave she continued to refuse to cooperate and was escorted out of the area and transported to booking for obstruction."

UPDATE

Tulsa PD finishes by saying, "For clarification, the arrestee had passed through the metal detector area to the most secure area of the event accessible only to ticket holders. Whether she had a ticket or not for the event is not a contributing factor for the Tulsa Police in making the arrest. Officers at the location, particularly in the “Sterile” area, will remove individuals only at the direction of Campaign Staff."

UPDATE

In other words, it looks like Tulsa PD is working with the campaign staff to make sure things go exactly how the President wants them to ... AKA no dissenters, and no protests.

PEACEFUL PROTEST INTERRUPTED
MSNBC

Tulsa police just did something that does not bode well for a peaceful protest .... they arrested a woman wearing an "I Can't Breathe" shirt for trespassing -- despite the fact she had a ticket to Donald Trump's rally.

Sheila Buck was taken into custody by a group of cops as she sat and protested Saturday night's rally.

She was locked in a standoff with cops for 8 minutes, when police decided they had enough and dragged her away in cuffs.

Check out the video of Sheila before she was arrested ... tensions are fast-approaching a boiling point.

It's unclear if the cops are following through with Trump's threats Friday, when he tweeted, "Any protesters, anarchists, agitators, looters or lowlifes who are going to Oklahoma please understand, you will not be treated like you have been in New York, Seattle, or Minneapolis. It will be a much different scene!"

Seems like the President wants a repeat of the scene outside The White House a few weeks back, when protesters were gassed and shot at with rubber bullets so Trump could nonsensically hold a bible in front of an historic church.

VA White Man Arrested for Pointing AR-15 At Black Bikers Near His House

THE SCARY SCENE
Newsflare

Brandishing his semi-automatic rifle at a group of black men who'd simply parked near his home was enough for a white guy in Virginia to get busted by cops.

This wild incident was caught on camera Sunday in Partlow, VA, where Dennis Lee Berry allegedly approached a squad of motorcycle riders who pulled over near his home to catch their breath and re-route.

One of the bike riders says Mr. Berry sprung up on them with an AR-15 cocked and seemingly loaded ... asking if they lived there, and then demanding they leave.

Some of the interaction was captured on video ... the men (4 of whom are black) tried talking him down, and questioning why he seemed so ready to shoot. They also pointed out they didn't appear to be on his property.

Welp, after some back and forth -- without any bullets flying -- the cops showed up and sorted things out. Berry was arrested for brandishing a firearm. He was released on bond, and the rifle was seized as evidence.

Waiting for your permission to load the Facebook Post.

According to the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office -- which responded to the call -- the bikers had, in fact, pulled into a private neighborhood ... but acknowledge the men didn't see a "No Trespassing" sign when they did it.

The cops also say Berry approached them from his property, but it's unclear if the men were on Berry's land.

George Floyd 911 Callers Knew They Witnessed 'Murder'

911 callers from the scene of George Floyd's killing were horrified, but very clear about what they'd just seen -- and it's more evidence the cops should have seen it the way ordinary citizens did.

Minneapolis released transcripts Wednesday of the 911 calls furiously made to report ex-cop Derek Chauvin violently holding his knee on Floyd's neck for nearly 9 minutes.

The calls came in at 8:32 PM and within seconds of each other. One caller said, "I literally watched police officers not take a pulse and not do anything to save a man. They f***ing killed him.”

"YOU CAN CALL ME A SNITCH"

When asked if the caller wants to speak to the supervisor, the caller said, “I’m recording this. I’m, I mean I’m f***ing recording this right now.”

Check out the transcript ... the operator offered to transfer the caller to the supervisor but the call disconnects. Another reported, “Yeah I just watched Officer #987 kill a, ah … a citizen in front of a Chicago [ave.] ah…store.”

The caller went on to say, "He had his knee on the dude’s neck the whole time. I don't even know if he dead for sure but dude was not responsive when the ambulance came and got him, and the officer that was just out here left, the one that actually just murdered the kid in front of everybody."

It should be noted ... Minnesota doesn't release audio like this, but even in the transcript, you can feel the raw emotion from callers.

As we reported ... a 911 dispatcher was concerned enough about the handling of Floyd's arrest, she called a police supervisor. You hear the dispatcher openly question if the officers needed to use the kind of force she'd seen as she watched live body cam footage from the scene.

Chauvin was arrested four days after Floyd's death, and initially charged by the Hennepin County Attorney's Office with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, who is now leading the investigation and prosecution, later filed an additional count of second-degree murder against Chauvin. He's facing 40 years behind bars -- the maximum penalty for second-degree murder.

The three other former officers involved in Floyd's death -- J. Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao -- are each charged with one count of aiding and abetting second-degree murder and one count of aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter.

New Mexico Protest Armed Militia's Statue Standoff Ends with 1 Protester Shot

UPDATE

10:58 AM PT -- Cops have arrested Steven Baca Jr. for allegedly shooting the protester. They say Baca had some sort of interaction with the protesters before it was observed that he was being chased by the crowd and struck with a longboard. That's when Baca allegedly fired several rounds at the victim. Baca Jr. has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

UPDATE

The latest scene of protesters attempting to topple a statue -- this one of a Spanish conquistador -- exploded in violence when an armed civilian militia allegedly opened fire on a New Mexico protester.

The militia -- an extremist group called the New Mexico Civil Guard -- was standing guard Monday over a statue of Juan de Oñate in front of the Albuquerque Museum. A group of protesters had gathered with the goal of taking it down ... as we've seen happen recently in several cities.

At one point, witnesses told police that somebody swung a pickax at the base of the statue ... and that's when shots rang out and people were screaming someone had been shot.

The victim was hit by one bullet, and fellow protesters huddled around him as he was laid out on his stomach. Eventually, EMTs arrived to bring him to a hospital ... he was later listed as being in critical but stable condition.

As for the militia, those who were dumb enough to stick around came face-to-face with members of actual law enforcement -- who proceeded to take several of them into custody.

Tear gas and flashbangs were used to contain the situation and to detain the armed men -- whom cops say were disarmed by the time they were done with them. It's unclear if police caught the actual shooter ... and the FBI's already been looped into the investigation.

Remember, protesters successfully dismantled several statues of Civil War figures and Christopher Columbus within the last 2 weeks. All of those incidents went down peacefully ... meaning, no one attempted to protect the statues.

Different story now ... at least in New Mexico.
