ROAD TO RELIEF
TMZ.com
UPDATE

7:15 AM PT -- A rep for Gorilla Glue tells us, "We are glad that Miss Brown was able to be treated and we hope that she is doing well."

Tessica Brown, the woman whose hair's been Gorilla Glued for more than a month, finally has sweet relief -- and we have video of the surgery that saved the day.

As we first reported, Tessica took up Bev Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Obeng on his offer to perform the $12,500 procedure for free, and it was a pretty grueling process. ... about 4 hours long!

We shot the whole thing, from start to finish, and it's wild to see it play out -- and to see the relief on Tessica's face when it was all said and done.

FINALLY UNSTUCK
TMZ.com

Tessica was under a light anesthesia during the procedure, you've gotta see her reaction as she came out of it, and immediately reached for her hair. She got pretty choked up once she realized she could once again run her fingers through it.

We asked if she's done with home styling after the Gorilla Glue nightmare, and let's just say she's got big plans for this weekend.

As we reported ... Tessica had flown into L.A. from Louisiana Wednesday morning hoping Dr. Obeng could do what she'd tried, unsuccessfully, to do for more than a month now.

Remember ... in a pinch, she had swapped out her normal hair spray for Gorilla Glue Spray Adhesive, thinking she'd be able to wash it out a few hours later. Since then she's been through the wringer ... suffering severe headaches, trying at-home remedies and even went to the ER, but everything just made her scalp burn intensely.

FINDING THE PERFECT SOLUTION

Dr. Obeng broke down his secret recipe for us, explaining it was all just basic chemistry. We're no scientists, so watch the video for his explanation -- but in a nutshell, he combined medical grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil and a dash of acetone.

He said that's all it took to break down the polyurethane -- the main ingredient in Gorilla Glue. BTW, he didn't go in cold. You gotta see the dummy scalp Dr. Obeng used to test his solvent.

TRIMMED DOWN

The only small relief Tessica had gotten before her Bev Hills visit, came last weekend when she and her sister used superglue remover to chop off her ponytail.

Speaking of that ponytail ... she says she can't wait to get her hair back to that length, and it is pretty amazing how much of her hair Dr. Obeng was able to save.

Tessica had told us she was prepared to wear wigs for the rest of her life -- but after this procedure, she won't need them for too long.

GORILLA GLUE HAIRDO I'm Here For My Procedure ... What's Up, Doc?!?

Tessica Brown, the woman who put Gorilla Glue in her hair, is on the final leg of her painful saga -- she's made it to L.A., where a surgeon's waiting to operate.

Tessica touched down at LAX bright and early Wednesday morning, flying in from Louisiana to see the Beverly Hills doctor who says he can fix her rock-solid hair with a lengthy procedure.

She's got her infamous hairdo hidden under a hoodie, which is a lot easier to do now that she's finally managed to chop off her ponytail.

Tessica says her scalp is still in dire straits ... and it's almost time for Dr. Michael Obeng to try and work his magic. Remember, he's offering to perform a $12,500 procedure for free, using medical-grade glue remover to rid her hair of Gorilla Glue once and for all.

Tessica's been to hell and back since substituting Gorilla Glue Spray Adhesive for her normal hair spray ... but now she's got a glimmer of hope.

Kim Kardashian & Jeff Leatham Donate Flowers to Frontline Workers ... Early V-Day 'Thank-You'

Kim Kardashian sent a flowery token of appreciation to hospital staff who've been on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic for nearly a year now.

Sources with knowledge tell TMZ ... Kim had a photoshoot earlier this week for an upcoming project, with an abundance of gorgeous flowers on a set designed by celeb florist Jeff Leatham.

Instead of just tossing the flowers out after the shoot was over, we're told they whipped up dozens of bouquets and delivered them to frontline workers at the USC Verdugo Hills Hospital ... along with a thank-you note.

Hospital CEO Keith Hobbs presented the early Valentine's Day gifts to his staff, including RN Catherine Pradt and several others.

Hopefully, all the workers have time to stop and smell the roses this week ... they deserve it.

Gorilla Glue Hairdo Plastic Surgeon To The Rescue?!? Special Procedure On Deck

The TikToker who put Gorilla Glue in her hair is trying her luck in Bev Hills ... a plastic surgeon says he can remove the adhesive spray product from her rock-hard hair.

We've learned Tessica Brown's got an offer from Dr. Michael Obeng, who says he can fix her problems with a lengthy procedure.

We're told Tessica is flying Wednesday from Louisiana to Los Angeles to have the procedure done, and the good doc estimates it will take 2 or 3 days to completely rid her hair of Gorilla Glue.

Remember ... Tessica says her hair's been stuck in place for about a month, ever since substituting Gorilla Glue Spray Adhesive for her normal hair spray. She says home remedies and a trip to the ER yielded no results.

Our sources say Dr. Obeng feels so bad for Tessica, he's performing the procedure for free. It's no small gesture, we're told the estimated cost is $12,500.

Rubbing alcohol hasn't worked on Tessica's Gorilla Glue hairdo, but we're told Dr. Obeng is confident he can remove the product using medical-grade glue remover.

GORILLA GLUE HAIRDO I Still Can't Get This Glue Out After ER!!! Might Be Time to Sue

UPDATE

12:44 PM PT -- Gorilla Glue says Tessica's saga is a unique situation and the product she used "is not indicated for use in or on hair as it is considered permanent."

UPDATE

GG says the spray adhesive is intended for mounting things to surfaces such as paper, cardboard, wood, laminate and fabric.

The company says it's sorry to hear about her incident, and is glad she's getting treatment while wishing her the best.

The TikToker who put Gorilla Glue in her hair is still living with her nightmarish mistake, the glue brand's remedies aren't working ... and now she's lawyering up.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... Tessica Brown's weekend trip to the ER was another disaster, and Gorilla Glue's tip to use rubbing alcohol to remove the product was a colossal failure.

Our sources say Tessica spent 22 hours in the ER and the staff was dumbfounded. We're told healthcare workers put acetone on the back of her head, but it burned her scalp and only made the glue gooey before hardening back up.

Tessica, we're told, was instructed to keep trying the potential remedy back home, but rubbing alcohol still hasn't proved to be the cure.

Remember ... Tessica says her hair's been rock solid for about a month after substituting Gorilla Glue Spray Adhesive for her normal hair spray. GG told us the quickest possible remedy was rubbing alcohol.

Our sources say Tessica's hired an attorney and is weighing her legal options against Gorilla Glue. We're told the label on the product she used says do not use on eyes, skin or clothing ... with no mention of hair, which Tessica feels is misleading.

GG says all of its products are considered permanent and the packaging states it too ... but we're told Tessica felt it was okay because the product said multi-use.

Tessica's already crowdfunding for her medical bills ... a GoFundMe has raised $9,000 and counting.

UPDATE

4:33 PM PT -- It looks like the TikToker who put Gorilla Glue in her hair is done with at-home remedies after getting bombarded with tips from just about everyone -- including GG itself -- because she's finally checked into a hospital ... and is already being attended to.

UPDATE

Tessica Brown posted photos Saturday of herself going to an emergency room in what appears to be Chalmette, Louisiana. The photo she threw up from outside the facility was captioned with nothing but a couple of teary-eyed emojis.

UPDATE

She posted another photo of her face lying down on a bed with a healthcare worker above her with gloves on. It looks like some kind of white cream was applied to her scalp to help with the removal of the sticky substance ... which has been stuck in place for a month.

Tons of people are sending her well-wishes, noting that while the situation is somewhat humorous ... it's also super serious and probably not very enjoyable for Tessica. Some celebs even shouted her out, including Chance the Rapper.

The woman who made a huge mistake by substituting Gorilla Glue Spray Adhesive for her normal hair spray is at her wit's end ... so the glue brand's coming to the rescue.

If you missed it ... Tessica Brown made jaws drop on TikTok when she revealed her hair's been rockhard for about a month since her glue spray snafu, and she tells TMZ she's embarrassed, stressed, and starting to get scared.

Like Tessica says in her video ... she can't wash out the glue, she can't even shave it and it's getting tighter on her head ... which is causing headaches.

She's considering going to the ER, but Gorilla Glue might save her a trip. The company tells us the quickest possible remedy is rubbing alcohol.

GG says ... "The less aggressive solvent for her hair/scalp would be rubbing alcohol to try and saturate her hair and then gently comb it out and shampoo." Of course, it's not that simple.

Gorilla says if Tessica's hair's been stuck for a month, it's "likely fractured at the root, but we certainly hope for the best."

Tessica too! She told us she's gonna try the rubbing alcohol soon. Best wishes, girl!

Oh one more thing, as a PSA of sorts -- DO NOT USE GORILLA GLUE ADHESIVE SPRAY ON YOUR HAIR. The company makes it clear that all of its products are considered permanent, and the packaging states it too. Tessica can testify it works.

Hailey Bieber appears to be looking to tap into the beauty business ... and she's ripping a page from her husband's playbook to put the wheels in motion.

Justin Bieber's model wife filed legal docs seeking to lock up the rights to "Rhode" ... the name with which she'll brand her beauty products.

Rhode is Hailey's middle name, which is interesting, considering the Biebs uses his middle name for his clothing line, House of Drew. Like husband, like wife.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Hailey's looking to use Rhode on beauty and wellness merch, bath and shower products, beauty creams, personal cleaning products, cosmetics, makeup, fragrances, haircare and skincare.

Hailey's tried to go this road before. She's filed similar docs in the past to secure the rights to "Bieber Beauty," "Rhode Beauty," "HB Beauty by Hailey Bieber," "HRBeauty," "Dew Beauty" and "Dewy Beauty" ... but it doesn’t seem like any of those ever really took off.

Good luck this time around, Hailey!

Brad Pitt Ink Ya Know Me??? Flashing Back Tatts on Island Vacay

Brad Pitt is the anti-Justin Bieber early on in 2021 -- instead of covering up his tattoos like the Biebs, Brad's showing off his ink!!!

Brad's ringing in the new year down in Turks and Caicos and doing some snorkeling ... and these shirtless shots of his outing reveal his extensive back tattoos.

It's a rare sighting as Brad's pretty secretive about his ink work.

As you can see, Brad's back is home to at least 7 tatts ... ranging from a tornado to some Sanskrit and a handful of other interesting designs. Hell, there's even a lower back piece that's dangerously close to tramp stamp territory.

Brad's not flying solo in Turks ... Flea, from Red Hot Chili Peppers, is with him for the male-bonding tropical getaway.

These tatted images come days after Justin engaged in a massive tattoo cover-up for his recent music video -- but there's nothing bashful about Brad.

Justin Bieber Tattoo-less for 'Anyone' Music Video ... Massive Cover-Up Exposed!!!

Justin Bieber has found a painless, though time-consuming, method of tattoo removal.

The Biebs, who is thoroughly inked up, engaged in a massive cover-up for his new music video for "Anyone."

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Bieber posted this time-lapse video showing makeup artists, pretty remarkably, hovering over him and making the tats temporarily disappear.

Justin's sitting there in his white Calvins as the makeup team works on his legs, arms, torso and God knows where else.

Bieber's caption ... "No tats for the #Anyonevideo." The weird thing about it ... Justin plays a boxer in the video, and lots of boxers have lots of tats.

Justin has talked about the significance of his tats, saying, "I think the thorns symbolize the rough spots in my life. The flower is such a representation of beauty. I think I'm done on my neck.  That's a Hailey request."

The music vid rolled out New Year's Eve, the day Justin performed for a T-Mobile sponsored concert.

Saint West Gives Himself a Haircut ... Kim Says It's a Cute 'Do

Kim Kardashian's son must have known 2020 was the year of self-haircuts, because he got one in just in the nick of time ... and his Mom wasn't too mad about it.

Kim and Kanye's 5-year-old, Saint West, took a pair of childs' safety scissors to his signature curly locks ... chopping off a good portion from right in the middle of his parting line.

Kim shared photos of the aftermath on her Instagram Story on New Year's Eve -- including the kids' shears that did the job -- adding that her boy "Still looks cute tho."

Considering his parents are well-known for their unique senses of style and fashion ... it seems Saint's already a chip off the old block.

Anti-Masker Spews Asian Slurs, Threats ... 'Go Back to F***ing China!!!'

HATEFUL TIRADE
Nextdoor

A couple's refusal to wear face masks inside a Sephora, spilled into a parking lot confrontation where one guy hurled Asian ethnic slurs.

In this video, you see the guy behind the wheel of a Jeep get out of his car as he's yelling "go back to China," and calling the person recording him a "stupid g**k."

According to witnesses, this all started Sunday inside Sephora in Irvine, CA ... and the couple in the video allegedly refused to wear masks, which upset nearby customers ... including the woman recording this video.

They met again in the parking lot just outside the store ... and on top of hurling epithets, the guy charged toward the woman in a threatening way, saying ... "Are you really that stupid? You know that recording doesn't do anything."

Doesn't look like police got involved this time, and the guy threw one more bigoted parting shot as he pulled away -- "Stay home, and thanks for giving my country COVID."

Kudos to the woman who got the brunt of this hate speech -- she's choosing to focus on positives, and posted ... "I understand there's always unfortunate people living in hate. It's pathetic."

What she said.

Hair Cut Rage Aussies Brawl at Barbershop ... No Cutting Line, Mate!!!

BARBERSHOP BRAWL!!!
9 News

A couple of guys came to blows in a barbershop when they disagreed about who was in line first -- and the wild fight video is more evidence of short fuses in a long pandemic.

This melee unfolded at a place called Hayden's Barbershop in Perth, Australia -- where a 30-something reportedly didn't wait his turn for a trim, and plopped down in the barber's chair ahead of another man who was waiting ... and, obviously, not happy about it.

In footage obtained by Australia's 9 News ... you see that, at first, the older man gets up and makes his frustration known to the younger guy, who argues back but eventually gives up the seat. As the older man takes his place, the chirping continues ... until it fully erupts.

The younger man -- who was later charged with assault for this November brawl -- finally swatted the older fella upside his head, and all hell broke loose from there.

Both men were throwing haymakers at each other as the rest of the guys tried to break it up -- and just when it looked to be over ... the fighting spilled into the parking lot, where more punches were thrown.

According to 9 New, the younger guy could spend up to 10 years in jail if convicted. We all need a cut ... but c'mon, fellas!

Salt-N-Pepa Pepa Sues Doctor ... You Botched My Butt!!!

Pepa from Salt-N-Pepa can't shake her thang without pain and discomfort, because she claims a doctor pressured her into multiples butt surgeries and botched them.

Sandra Denton, better known as Pep, is suing Dr. David Sayah for negligence, claiming he talked her into 3 separate procedures to repair damage she suffered in a July 2018 car accident.

In legal docs, she says the wreck made the biopolymer injections she previously had in her butt and hips shift, leaving her in extreme discomfort. Pep says she was referred to Dr. Sayah in Sept. 2019 to help her out, and the plan was to remove the biopolymer material and butt implants to relieve her pain.

According to the suit, the doctor initially convinced Pep to simply replace her butt implants with smaller ones ... because she claims he told her she'd be distraught if she went back to her au natural derriere.

Instead, Pep alleges Sayah performed an unsuccessful liposuction, which required yet another corrective surgery.

Before that one went down ... she claims Dr. Sayah pressured her into a different procedure which caused her buttocks to harden and knot up -- making it difficult and stressful for her to perform on stage.

She claims the third and final surgery was in Feb. 2020 when Sayah finally removed the biopolymer material ... or so she thought.

Pep says she went to another doctor because her butt was still hurting and, after an MRI, discovered a "large amount of biopolymer silicone and dead scar tissue remaining."

Pepa's suing Dr. Sayah for allegedly disfiguring her and says she'll likely suffer from the injuries for the rest of her life. She also says she's gonna need even more surgery.

Lizzo 'I'm Beautiful, I Just Don't Feel it' ... Shares Moment of 'Negative Thoughts'

ONE OF THOSE DAYS
@lizzo/TikTok

Lizzo is going through it -- in a brutally honest moment, she's admitting she lets all the mean crap Internet trolls say get to her sometimes ... but she's also confident it will pass.

Lest you think things are always "Good As Hell" for the singer, Lizzo opened up about an emotional low she hit Wednesday as she was taking a shower -- "I just started having all of these really negative thoughts about myself. Like, you know, what's wrong with me? Maybe everything, [and] all the mean things people say about me are true."

The video is remarkable because it's the kinda honesty we don't often see from celebs ... and also because ya just wanna give her a hug.

Lizzo says, at that moment, she was hating her body ... but adds these are normal thoughts that "happen to everybody, they happen to the best of us."

She's never lacked for confidence, and you can almost see her working through her emotions, because by the end of the clip Lizzo had some inspirational words -- for herself and everyone else who goes through this on the daily.

Alright ... group hug, peeps.

Male HS Student Speaks Out After Nail Polish Suspension ... End Homophobia in Small Towns

FIGHTIN' FOR CHANGE
ABC
UPDATE

6:21 AM PT -- Trevor appeared on 'GMA' and spoke out for the first time since the controversial suspension. He said opting for nail polish is his way to express himself and vows to end "discrimination, sexism, homophobia and racism in small towns that feel like they can enforce a dress code or rules that completely go against how people feel; that completely go against freedom of expression and completely break the federal law at that matter."

UPDATE

Trevor's grandfather, Leroy, said he hopes the school can re-think its policy and drop it. The district, which has a strict dress code, released a statement saying parents are provided a copy of the dress code each new school year and "the district cannot share any information regarding a specific student."  More than 60k people have signed a petition to support Trevor.

A male high school student in Texas got punished for wearing nail polish on campus -- breaking the dress code -- which he's now calling discriminatory.

17-year-old Trevor Wilkinson started a Change.org petition this week after he received an in-school suspension Monday from officials at Clyde High School in West Texas. The reason ... he had painted his nails black and other colors.

When asked to remove the nail polish by the principal and vice-principal, Wilkinson refused ... and got his punishment, which he says he'll continue opting for as a form of protest.

Trevor, who is gay, said, "Imagine your school not allowing boys to paint their nails and giving boys [in school suspension] ... and the whole administration being ok with it, homophobic and sexist? Welcome to West Texas."

As for the school, their district -- Clyde Consolidated Independent School District -- spoke on its behalf with a blanket statement about the dress code policy ... without touching on Wilkinson specifically. BTW, CHS is a public school ... for what it's worth.

Anyway, CCISD says it conducts a thorough review of its dress code each year and make all students and parents well aware of it before the school year gets underway.

Regarding the nail polish rule -- which also extends to forbidding makeup on males -- the student handbook says students are given a chance to correct it in the moment but will face escalating punishment if they continue to violate the policy.
