Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Tensions Were High At Queen's Jubilee ... Says Piers Morgan

Published

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's visit with the royal family during Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee got off to a "frosty" and uncomfortable start ... according to Piers Morgan.

The host of the UK's new TalkTV reports Harry and Meghan showed up late to the event, kicking off some of the discomfort. He also says the couple was nowhere to be found as the day went on, while the rest of the family took a trip out to the garden to spend time together.

Piers believes the Queen herself is the only one who can help ease the tension -- but since it sounds like she won't be present for today's festivities at St. Paul's Cathedral, the expectation is things will continue to be pretty icy in the royal fam.

Piers, of course, isn't the biggest fan of Meghan, who allegedly got him kicked off of "Good Morning Britain" ... in the wake of the Oprah interview.

STORMING OFF

Co-host Alex Beresford called him out to his face about constantly bashing Meghan, forcing Piers to take a walk.

Now, Piers has a new gig, but he clearly isn't backing off his criticism of the Duchess.

Joe Budden Declares War On NYC Strip Clubs ... Waka Flocka Says STFU!!!

Published | Updated

The late great Phife Dawg famously quipped he liked his girls "brown, yellow, Puerto Rican or Haitian" ... and while Joe Budden's observation of NYC strip clubs doesn't see it that way, Waka Flocka Flame disagrees with Joe.

JB compared the personal crusade to a declaration of war ... because someone has to do it, right?

The rapper-turned-podcast host went outta his way Thursday to call out shuttered NYC strip club Cheetahs Gentlemen's Club & Restaurant for exclusively employing fair-skinned Hispanic women.

Joe says, "NY strip clubs, not only are you not hiring Black women, but you're purposely hiring the SAME exact girl." Your promoter having a type is gonna lose y'all money this Summer.. this is disgusting (not the girls, the optics)."

Waka Flocka not only disagrees, but calls Joe "soft" for the commentary. WF hails from Atlanta -- the reigning mecca of pole dancers -- so naturally, he wasn't going to sit for disrespect to the industry.

Budden just may be in chill mode, as he is currently on vacation, heavily indulging in chocolate ... so, maybe that's fueling his strip club beef.

Johnny Depp Wins Defamation Lawsuit Amber Wins Defamation Countersuit

UPDATE

12:23 PM PT -- The jury just found unanimously in favor of Johnny Depp on his lawsuit, that Amber Heard calling him a sexual abuser was defamation. The jury further found Heard's accusations in the Washington Post were malicious. The jury awarded Depp $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages.

UPDATE

Now here's the thing ... Amber won her defamation countersuit and was awarded $2 million. The defamation was based on Johnny's lawyer accusing Amber and her friends of concocting a story for the cops under the direction of her lawyer and publicist.

AWAITING THE VERDICT

The Johnny Depp-Amber Heard case is about to reach the finish line with a decisive winner, or maybe two potential losers -- and TMZ is streaming the announcement at 12 PM PT.

The jury reached its verdict Wednesday in Fairfax, VA -- where they've been deliberating for the past few days after a month-plus long trial ... with lots of twists and turns, but more importantly -- a mountain's worth of evidence and testimony.

They heard closing arguments on Friday, which saw attorneys for Depp and Heard plead their cases one last time in dramatic fashion. Camille Vasquez and co. told jurors to use their common sense, as did AH's lead lawyer, Ben Rottenborn -- albeit with a different spin.

Rottenborn said a decision against Amber will have devastating effects on DV victims -- sending a message to those who choose to speak their truths, but don't have the most convincing documentation of their trauma ... a category in which Amber seemed to fall.

052722-depp-heard-trial-heard-kal
THINK OF THE VICTIMS

Indeed ... while both Johnny and Amber had ample audio recordings of one another amid explosive fights -- it would appear only Johnny explicitly caught AH admitting to hitting him.

Of course, Johnny wasn't left looking like an angel by any means -- the infamous kitchen rampage tape was played in court, which shows him throwing a fit and slamming cabinets ... all while pouring himself a "mega pint" of wine, and finally catching Amber recording him.

There were also vile texts Johnny sent about Amber, which were shown to the jury as well. Plus, Johnny's history of substance abuse was put under the microscope ... something he owned up to. And, then there are Amber's alleged injury photos, of which there were several.

Amber also got some of her friends to testify on her behalf, claiming they saw the alleged injuries after the fact ... and would often rush to console her after a blowout fight with JD.

Speaking of one of those fights, a memorable moment -- and a total W for Team Johnny -- came when his ex, Kate Moss, took the stand virtually to bat down a rumor that Amber invoked when she was testifying about an alleged staircase tussle, where she said she thought Johnny would throw her sister down ... like he'd allegedly done to KM.

That turned out to be total BS though, as Kate herself said there was no truth to that story -- and it seemed to hurt Amber's credibility, as did other testimony ... a la the ACLU "pledge."

4/20/22
CRUEL AND GROTESQUE

There was also the matter of feces that was addressed early and often ... which made for a ton of meme fodder and jokes online, and almost always at the expense of Amber. As you know, Johnny seems to believe either she and/or a friend left it behind in their bed.

But, Amber herself denied it under oath -- blaming one of their teacup Yorkies, who she said had bowel issues ever since eating some of Johnny's weed. The jury is still out on that one.

All the same, it's clear this trial and all the public backlash against Amber took its toll on her -- she cried throughout this trial, but was especially passionate toward the end ... saying she just wanted to get on with her life, and that she's been left virtually broken from all this.

Now, this matter is going to be settled once and for all in the form of a jury. Even if Amber wins, some feel like she'll be more hurt than Johnny going forward. Time will tell.

Amber Heard Calls Depp Verdict 'Setback' for Women ... After Losing Defamation Case

Published | Updated

Amber Heard says her loss in the Johnny Depp defamation case is a true "setback" for women who speak out, saying she feels she's lost her right to freedom of speech in the process.

Heard tells TMZ, "The disappointment I feel today is beyond words. I'm heartbroken that the mountain of evidence still was not enough to stand up to the disproportionate power, influence, and sway of my ex-husband."

She continues, "I’m even more disappointed with what this verdict means for other women. It is a setback. It sets back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke out could be publicly shamed and humiliated. It sets back the idea that violence against women is to be taken seriously."

As we reported, Depp was awarded $10.35 million in damages Wednesday after a jury found Heard defamed him in her op-ed titled, "‘I spoke up against sexual violence — and faced our culture’s wrath." Heard was awarded $2 million in compensatory damages.

Heard tells us, "I believe Johnny’s attorneys succeeded in getting the jury to overlook the key issue of Freedom of Speech and ignore evidence that was so conclusive that we won in the UK."

Finally, she says, "I’m sad I lost this case. But I am sadder still that I seem to have lost a right I thought I had as an American – to speak freely and openly."

Heard sat solemnly in the Virginia courtroom as the verdict was read ... Depp was not physically present, but watched from the U.K.

Trouble in A$AP Paradise A$AP Rocky's New Album Is 💩 ... Says Mob Partner A$AP Bari!!!

Published

A$AP Rocky's newfound joys of fatherhood might be hitting a few bumps in the road, courtesy of some stewing beef ... cooked by one of his own A$AP Mob teammates.

On Wednesday, A$AP Bari all but confirmed his string of sneak Instagram disses these past few days weren't inside jokes because he called Rocky's next album trash before it's even finished.

In a new interview with Dazed magazine, Rocky debunked the long-rumored "All Smiles" title but did promise an "industrial, subversive and polished" sound for the album.

A day prior, Bari called Rocky "burnt out" on one of Rocky's IG posts, fueling speculation there's some serious friction between them.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Although no A$AP Mobbers have publicly addressed any conflict, Bari's bone to pick could stem from Rocky's recent "Drink Champs" interview where he casually referred to Bari as a "Lil n****" while reliving a Jay-Z tale back in the day.

Jay-Z apparently wasn't feeling the "Goldie" lyrics comparing his Ace of Spades champagne to "racist" champagne and had a word with the crew.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

As a co-founding member, Bari is one of the few members of A$AP Mob who doesn't rap, opting to focus on fashion as CEO of streetwear clothing label VLONE.

He also pleaded guilty to a 2017 sexual assault in London, initially putting him on the outs with Rocky at the time of the incident.

Lil Xan Cancels Tour without Warning... Opening Act Launches 'F*** Lil Xan Tour!!!'

Lil Xan Tour Dropout
BORN 'A QUITTER' TOUR

Lil Xan pulled a fast one Tuesday by pulling out of his own headlining 'Born Dead Tour,' leaving fans, and even his touring partners, in limbo!!!

We caught up with Dropout Kings frontman Adam Ramey, who says he and his band of rap-rockers were totally not feeling Lil Xan's abrupt exit … as they are currently stranded in Florida with no shows to play in the meantime, and they're several thousand dollars in the hole.

The tour was supposed to run through the end of July in the U.S. and Europe, but as of now, American fans are left SOL with the European leg still on and popping.

Adam says he and the group felt good about Xan's inclusion on the tour, speaking with him a couple of weeks ago. However, Xan and Dropout Kings were supposed to kick off things at last weekend's So What? Festival, which Xan also skipped without warning -- and Adam says that's when he knew the storm was coming.

Xan recently appeared on Steve-O's 'Wild Ride!' podcast bragging about the tour essentially selling out … a tidbit Adam says is El Capitan.

THANKFUL FOR THE SUPPORT

The "Betrayed" rapper also claims promoters weren't accommodating his demands but as Adam points out, headlining acts typically don't look to the openers for assistance.

Although Adam says he doesn't know what, if any, financial penalties Xan is facing for canceling, but he says Dropout Kings are rebranding their shows as the “F*** Lil Xan Tour” until further notice; meeting with fans whenever they can ... promoting their latest album, "GlitchGang" and selling merch.

Depp vs. Heard Fiery Closing Arguments ... Jury Begins Deliberations

Published | Updated
UPDATE

12:06 PM PT -- The rebuttals from Johnny and Amber's legal teams were intense ... with Depp's attorney calling Amber a liar and Heard's lawyer saying the allegation is all a hoax on Amber's end and is "vicious and vile."

UPDATE
UPDATE

Johnny's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, went first in her rebuttal ... calling Amber a liar and saying Heard's story was constantly shifting throughout the trial, with the accusations of abuse never the same.

UPDATE

Depp's team claimed Amber gave the performance of her life on the witness stand, but they say she was caught in lie after lie. Camille says Johnny had to sue because it was the only way to defend himself and expose Amber as an alleged liar.

UPDATE

Amber's attorney, Ben Rottenborn, fired back when it was his turn to address the jury ... bristling at Depp's lawyers calling Heard untruthful.

UPDATE

Rottenborn doubled down on his argument that Depp abused Amber in different ways outside of physical abuse, including emotional and verbal abuse. BR also ripped Depp's lawyers for trying to box in abuse as something that is only physical or sexual.

UPDATE

HOLD THE APPLAUSE
UPDATE

After the rebuttals, the judge read the jury instructions and sent them off to deliberate ... and there was applause in the courtroom.

UPDATE

10:18 AM PT -- Amber's other attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, promised to be quick with her part of closing ... and she certainly fulfilled it. EB raced through her arguments with the jury -- which were all about JD's ex-attorney's statements that AH countersued over -- and Elaine went through examples of why she believes his remarks were defamatory ... mostly arguing, the abuse happened.

UPDATE

She also touched on how his statements have affected her career -- and said Walter Hamada himself -- the WB exec -- testified that Jason Momoa and James Wan emailed him insisting if they were going to work on the second film together, Amber also had to be included.

UPDATE
UPDATE

The takeaway on this issue was ... why would those key guys from the movie say that unless there was some feeling that WB wanted her out. Elaine argues it's clear Amber's star was shot down as a result of this -- and asked the jury to award her reasonable damages.

UPDATE

Court is in recess and will come back for rebuttals, which the judge said would be much shorter. Amber's team has much less time than JD's to make their case upon return.

UPDATE

8:59 AM PT -- Rottenborn just made an interesting argument in closing -- he says not only did JD physically abuse Amber, but suggests that even the stuff he did outside of alleged hitting constitutes abuse ... including the notorious video of him slamming cabinets in their kitchen.

UPDATE

BR was emphatic that what the jury saw there was horrific for Amber to experience, saying that abuse does not necessarily need to manifest in the physical form to be valid.

UPDATE
052722-depp-heard-trial-heard-team-kal
this is abuse!
UPDATE

It's an interesting point ... as many know, DV doesn't just have to be beatings -- it certainly can take shape in other ways, including emotional, verbal, etc. That's kind of what Rottenborn is saying here -- she might not have the smoking gun documented, but what she does have on tape still supports her claims of abuse ... and backs her account as a victim.

UPDATE

8:33 AM PT -- Amber's attorney, Ben Rottenborn, came out swinging in closing arguments with a powerful sentiment -- namely, asking the jury to think about what Johnny and his team are suggesting with their premise ... that if you didn't document abuse, it didn't happen.

UPDATE
052722-depp-heard-trial-heard-kal
THINK OF THE VICTIMS
UPDATE

Rottenborn went on to list other implications he believes JD is outlining -- including ... if you did tell people, it's a lie; if you did document injuries, they're fake; if you tried to help your spouse, you were actually sabotaging them. BR says these are dangerous ideas to try and cement with a verdict and that they have a broader negative impact on DV victims.

UPDATE

He also said the jury is not here to decide if JD actually abused Amber, but more specifically -- if her op-ed piece and the alleged defamatory statements are protected speech under the First Amendment. He said the two statements in the actual body copy are true on their face, and that she didn't actually write the headline about "sexual violence" in question.

UPDATE

7:47 AM PT -- Chew went through the jury instructions with the actual jury themselves, going through each question one by one and explaining why he feels he and his team have made the case for each -- including the notion that they've proven Johnny did not abuse Amber. He also noted that on the issue of damages, JD doesn't care about money or punishing Amber ... he just wants to be vindicated and to finally get his reputation back in a court of law.

UPDATE
052722-depp-heard-trial-final-kal
DEFENDING DEPP
UPDATE

7:25 AM PT -- Chew is touching on what Amber's claims did to Depp's reputation. He invoked his most famous role, Captain Jack Sparrow, and said that JD will go to his grave knowing some people who used to look up to him now believe he beat a woman as a result of what AH has done ... regardless of the outcome of this trial. He also says this is NOT a #MeToo moment ... because no one has come out of the woodwork to say "Me Too."

UPDATE

7:13 AM PT -- Camille just wrapped her portion of closing, and she was effective in detailing each allegation of abuse from Amber and picking it apart in front of the jury. Her takeaway message ... you either believe all of her claims or none. She insisted she and the team have proven, through evidence and testimony, that Amber is lying ... and Johnny is telling the truth -- namely, that she allegedly abused him, not the other way around. Ben Chew is up.

UPDATE
052722-depp-heard-trial-closing-kal
who's telling the truth?
UPDATE

6:32 AM PT -- The attorney addressed Johnny's amputated finger, and said the injury was caused by a broken vodka bottle thrown at him by Amber. She also said Amber's allegation of sexual assault with a liquor bottle was a bald-faced lie ... saying someone who would have undergone such trauma would not simply go to bed and fall asleep.

UPDATE

Vasquez told the jury ... with all the photos and videos of Amber over the years of their relationship, there were no visual signs of abuse.

UPDATE

Vasquez played a damning video where Amber said she donated her $7 million settlement to charity. She says she gave the $7 mil. to the ACLU and Children's Hospital -- she did not.

UPDATE
052722-depp-heard-trial-abuse-kal
AMBER IS THE ABUSER
UPDATE

Vasquez brought up the feces in the bed, saying it was all orchestrated by Amber who was enraged that Johnny showed up late for her 30th birthday party and struck him before he left. Vasquez says Amber wanted more than a divorce -- she wanted to ruin Johnny.

UPDATE

Johnny's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, came out of the gate swinging, saying Amber Heard went to an L.A. courthouse in 2016, filed a claim of abuse and ruined his life. Vasquez also says the mark on her face that was apparent as she left the courthouse, captured by photogs, was fake ... appearing 6 days after she last saw Johnny. She said there is an abuser in the courtroom, but it's not Johnny -- it's Amber.

UPDATE

Vasquez went on ... Amber was desperate for attention and suffered from a personality disorder laced with anger. She said it was Amber who emotionally and physically abused Johnny.

UPDATE

One of the most powerful moments -- Vasquez played an audiotape of Amber admitting she hit Johnny, but somehow distinguished a hit from a punch and called him a "baby" for complaining about it.

The trial of Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard is in its final stages with closing arguments set for today, and the jury will then begin the Herculean task of trying to figure out who's telling the truth and who's lying.

Depp vs. Heard Jason Momoa Wanted Amber in 'Aquaman 2' ... Testimony Continues

Published | Updated

While Amber Heard may be at war with one Hollywood heavyweight, another had her back, at least professionally ... because according to testimony, Jason Momoa allegedly fought to keep her in "Aquaman 2"

Neither Johnny nor Amber took the stand Monday, but entertainment consultant Kathryn Arnold was called to talk about Heard's mark in the industry. At one point, Amber's attorney began asking about her role in "Aquaman 2."

As you may know, it was reported Amber's role was significantly cut in the film, but Arnold says there was some question as to whether or not she'd even be in the film at all.

Arnold says both Momoa and the film's director, James Wan, were both "adamant" she be included in the movie. She testified back in February 2021, there were conversations that Amber may not be hired for the movie at all ... but the two showed their support for her.

Another interesting tidbit about Momoa ... Arnold says he re-negotiated his contract from making about $3-4M for the first "Aquaman" to about $15M for the second installment.

DEPP'S DEPARTURE

It was reported Amber's side may call Johnny back onto the stand this week, but there's been conflicting info ... and it may not happen at all. Per usual, it was pandemonium outside the Virginia courthouse when things wrapped, both sides will be back at it Tuesday.

Fat Joe Call's Tekashi 'P****' ... Tekashi Fires Back

Published | Updated
UPDATE

5:14 PM PT -- Tekashi is firing back at Fat Joe, telling TMZ ... "Fat Joe is jealous of 69. 69 has done more in his young career than Fat Joe has ever done in his long career."

UPDATE

6ix9ine adds ... "Fat Joe said I was miserable and want to die? Fat Joe is miserable and wants to die because Fat Joe doesn't have half of what 69 has in money and cars."

UPDATE

Tekashi concludes ... "Fat Joe said I'm not a gangster, it was all for promotion? That's fake news. What's his proof that I ever said that? There is no proof. He's lying."

Fat Joe can't hold his tongue when the topic of Tekashi 6ix9ine and snitching comes up -- and now he's tearing the rainbow-haired rapper a new soul.

Joey Crack was the latest guest of Math Hoffa's barbershop-style podcast "Expert Opinion," and he had some choice words ... describing Tekashi as "a pussy, a sucka, a bitch!"

If you recall, 6ix9ine infamously ratted on his Treyway Bloods Gang and justified the deed by saying they turned on him, but Joe couldn't give, pardon the phrase, a rat's ass!

As he started going in on Tekashi, Joe pointed out he was sober and not drunkenly spewing opinions. They both hail from NYC -- completely different eras -- and Joe hints at feeling betrayed when he saw firsthand Tekashi admitting he's just trolling and pretending to be a gangsta.

DON'T START IF YOU CAN'T FINISH

For his part, Tekashi recently claimed on "TMZ Live" he doesn't start all the beefs he has with various rappers, he just fillets them when they come his way.

He can add one more to that list, and while Fat Joe says he doesn't wish any harm on 6ix9ine ... he also believes the guy's got a death wish.

Depp vs. Heard Johnny Gets Support from Domestic Abuse Org

Published

Johnny Depp is getting support from what some might think is an unlikely group, but maybe not -- an org protecting abused women and children.

The group, Mission NGO, is Italian-based, and fronted by former Miss Italy Valeria Altobelli. She expressed "compassion" for Johnny in the wake of his trial with ex-wife Amber Heard.

Altobelli said, "In deep respect of the victims of domestic abuses that we have to affirm for intellectual honesty are, generally, WOMEN, we feel to express, as women, as mothers, as free thinkers, our compassion for Johnny Depp in this bad page of his personal history."

NGO is not alone ... public sentiment seems to be clearly on Johnny's side, which by clearly means lots of people -- maybe most -- don't believe Amber's claims of abuse at the hands of Johnny.

As we reported, the only uncontested incident of abuse was at the hands of Amber -- she admitted it on an audiotape that the jury heard.

Testimony is expected to wrap next week, and it's likely the jury will start deliberating right after Memorial Day.

Quavo Dodges Questions About Offset, Migos Break-Up MAY 2022
UP IN THE AIR

Quavo and Offset are on the outs again, and this time it means Migos is done as a group -- at least that's the online buzz, and Quavo isn't doing anything to put out that fire.

Huncho was at LAX Thursday when a photog asked him about reports the trio is breaking up, and his response is ... interesting. All the talk about Migos' demise stems from 2 things: Quavo's new Offset-less project and a bunch of social media UNfollows.

He was happy to talk about one of those things — namely, his and Takeoff's new track, "Hotel Lobby." The new duo's taking the name Unc & Phew, due to their family ties — but Quavo deftly dodged the topic of Offset.

ICYMI ... Offset and Cardi B stopped following Quavo and Takeoff on Instagram, and Quavo stopped unfollowed Offset and Cardi. Takeoff's like Switzerland: he's still following everyone.

So, is this real beef? Quavo isn't saying, which makes us lean toward this being a skillful marketing scheme for Unc & Phew.

Lil Wayne Claps Back At Cuban ... 'I'll Piss In Ya F'n Mouth Ho'

Published | Updated

Lil Wayne once said "You don't want to start Weezy, 'cause the F is for finisher" ... and he's proving to back his words with Mark Cuban -- firing back in his beef with the Dallas Mavericks owner and saying, "I will piss in ya f'n mouth ho."

The back-and-forth between the rapper and billionaire has been brewing ever since the Young Money rapper called Luka Doncic a "ho" on Twitter last week ... prompting Cuban to respond after Dallas defeated the Suns by 33 points in Game 7 on Sunday.

Wayne didn't take the jab lightly ... unleashing a pretty disgusting response to Cubes in a since-deleted tweet.

"Mark Cuban don’t make me get u smacked boy U playing w me??" Tunechi said. "I will piss in ya f'n mouth ho."

Shortly after, Wayne followed up for good measure writing, "Ya lil bitch its up."

Now, Wayne might have been a bit of bad luck for the Suns -- as soon as he tweeted about Luka, the Mavs turned the series around and ended Phoenix's season in blowout fashion.

It's unclear if the two are going at each other in jest, or if it's a real problem ... but it appears neither side is backing down.

Diddy Caught in Yung Miami & Gina H. Love Triangle ... GFs Feuding Over Him!!!

Published | Updated

Diddy is all about "love" these days ... maybe a little too much, because 2 women in his life are going at each other now after both were in Las Vegas where he hosted the Billboard Music Awards.

In one corner, City Girls rapper Yung Miami, and in the other Diddy's muse, model Gina Huynh -- Miami was at the BBMAs as a presenter, while Gina was a very interested spectator. She posted from the show, saying "Baby Daddy is hosting Billboards."

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Diddy after-partied hard Sunday night with Yung Miami, but things got messy Tuesday when Gina shared a pic of Brother Love's lips on her cheek -- and prompted YM to fire off more than a few subtweets.

Most notably, she's saying she will continue to see Diddy no matter how many pics Gina drops on the 'Gram.

And, then it got nasty as Gina invited Miami to dine on male genitalia -- not Diddy's we're guessing -- and eventually plugged her own rap song.

Diddy, for his part, has remained mum about the women sparring over him ... at least, publicly. Seems wise.

He didn't get to be worth a reported $885 million by making dumb moves!

Amber Heard Johnny Can't Look at Me 'Cause He's Guilty!!!

Published | Updated
UPDATE

2:26 PM PT -- A source close to Amber tells TMZ ... "Depp’s lawyers’ only defense is a dishonest offense. His lawyers might be entitled to their own opinion, but they’re not entitled to their own facts. This case is not a matter of he said/she said. It is a case of what he did/she did."

UPDATE

They add, "The central issue on Day One of this trial is the same as it is today. What Depp did, while appalling, is beside the point. What Amber did is the point. Did she have the right of Freedom of Speech as exercised in her Washington Post Op-Ed --- an Op-Ed the paper found fit to print and an Op-Ed in which Amber never once mentioned Depp’s name."

UPDATE

Court is wrapped for the day ... there's one more live witness that'll be called tomorrow, and other previously recorded depositions that'll be played in the weeks ahead.

UPDATE

2:00 PM PT -- Amber Heard's close friend, iO Tillett Wright, just testified about the poop left behind in Johnny's bed -- while also addressing the couple's last alleged blowup fight.

UPDATE
UPDATE

Wright gave his recounting of what he remembers about Johnny and Amber's relationship -- as he was around during much of it -- but one standout moment from his testimony once again focused on the doo-doo Johnny believes Amber and/or him put on his sheets.

UPDATE

Wright testified that he was made aware of this theory during a phone convo with Amber -- with her and Johnny on other end -- and he found it laughable ... saying he wasn't there and had nothing to do with it. Suddenly, things took a turn, he claims, when he says he heard Johnny and Amber arguing on the phone, and JD allegedly say something about pulling her hair back. That's when he says he started frantically calling friends to come to AH's rescue.

UPDATE
UPDATE

Wright also testified that after Johnny and Amber got hitched, he heard Johnny say something to the effect of ... good, now I can punch her in the face and no one can do anything about it. With that said, he noted -- he'd never personally seen either person physically hit the other.

Johnny Depp's attorney insisted her client hadn't looked at Amber Heard once in this trial to uphold a promise he made -- but his ex is calling BS ... offering a very different explanation.

Johnny's lawyer, Camille Vasquez, kicked off her cross-examination Monday with a simple question ... Johnny hadn't shot a glance her way amid the trial, had he? Amber said she didn't believe so, and Camille suggested she knew exactly why ... because he vowed she'd never see his eyes again.

She then played an audio recording where Johnny and Amber were arguing -- this after she'd gotten a TRO against him -- and in it you hear him say something to that effect.

Amber hadn't refuted it much during cross, but on redirect -- when her attorney, Elaine Bredehoft, reopened the door on the eyes thing -- Amber pounced to refute Johnny's supposed reasoning ... arguing, instead, that he couldn't look at her because of guilt.

051722_amber_heard_eyes_kal 5/16/22
promise me this ...

It made for a dramatic moment ... Amber got emotional, saying she'd survived him -- adding that she believes he wouldn't look at her since he knows he's in the wrong for this case.

She also claimed he had, in fact, looked her in the eye a few times after that meeting in July 2016 -- when they tried reconciling post-TRO -- and Amber even says Johnny had shown her kindness thereafter ... allegedly slipping her his new phone number.

We'll say this ... Johnny has been dedicated in not staring up at Amber once while she's been under oath -- which is kinda awkward, because she's certainly shot him a look or two throughout. In any case, it seems she and her attorneys think the eyes narrative is nonsense.

Anyway, Amber ended up getting the last word with her attorney leading the way -- she's done now with her testimony. Unclear if another witness is going to be called to the stand, including Johnny himself, but the court is currently on another break.

Jack Harlow to Brandy At Least I Know Your Music!!! Fires Back with Her Ye Tune

Published | Updated

Jack Harlow's rummaging through some old playlists to jab back at Brandy in their growing, but playful, beef over Jack being clueless about the singer's family tree.

ICYMI ... Jack was chopping it up with his OG's at Hot 97 when it hilariously came out that he didn't realize Ray J and Brandy were actual siblings, sparking yet another cultural debate involving the 24-year-old artist.

Late last night, Brandy finally got wind of the conversation -- responding like 2Pac, threatening to out-rap JH, and sing him to sleep. Even though she later admitted she was joking, she copped to not knowing Jack was a rapper.

Seeing as how Jack has the No. 1 song in the country -- "First Class" -- we can't figure out with Brandy diss is harsher ... the shot at his rapping, or the ol' "I don't know you."

Just imagine someone asking if Brandy was a singer when her "The Boy Is Mine" duet with Monica was ruling the charts? Yeah, total burn.

Jack did some burning of his response ... posting an IG story Tuesday with a pic of Brandy and Ray J while using her own lyrics from her 2005 Kanye West collaboration "Bring Me Down" off the album "Late Registration" against her.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Released in 2005 on the album "Late Registration," the song came out when Jack was 7 years old ... proving he's at least up on hip hop history. Or someone gave him a heads-up.

Amber Heard Grilled by Depp's Team ... Night With James Franco Addressed

UPDATE

11:42 AM PT -- Amber was just asked about a deposition she sat for years ago -- one which has been the subject of much speculation since it became public -- where AH appears to be smirking and rolling her eyes sarcastically as she listens back to audio of Johnny describing being hit.

UPDATE

'WERE YOU ENTERTAINED?'
UPDATE

Vasquez played the audio in question -- in which Johnny is telling Amber he believes she slammed a door into his head, and her refuting that -- both in real time Tuesday and via Amber's old deposition, and on the latter ... you see Amber smile (and eat) throughout.

UPDATE

Vasquez asked Amber if she found the idea of hitting her husband funny, and Amber explained ... she wasn't smiling because of the audio itself, but because of what was happening around her at the time in the room where her deposition was taking place.

UPDATE
UPDATE

JD fans have long latched onto this video as apparent proof (in their eyes) that Amber is twisted and diabolical toward Johnny's pain -- but she insists that is not what her body language was communicating, despite some people's interpretation of the viral clip.

UPDATE

9:55 AM PT -- A source close to Amber tells TMZ ... "Depp's legal team did a great disservice to all women this morning. They showed women exactly what could happen to them in court if they speak up about abuse at home." The court is on recess for their lunch break, but will be back later.

UPDATE

9:28 AM PT -- Amber Heard was just asked about James Franco on cross-examination, and it seems the whole point of bringing it up was to hint at the idea ... she might've been fooling around behind Johnny's back -- at least that's the impression JD's attorney has left.

UPDATE

Camille Vasquez played surveillance footage from Johnny's DTLA building a few days before AH took out her TRO -- this after an alleged explosive fight in their apartment -- and you see Franco slink in covered up in a hat and jacket, while wearing a backpack. Amber is there to greet him, and they both go up to her floor, where they exit together -- at around 11 PM.

UPDATE
UPDATE

CV was suggestive -- asking if Amber was aware of how late it was, and whether she was aware Johnny was out of town at the time. Amber said she can't recall remembering Johnny's schedule or not at the time ... she wasn't explicitly asked if she'd been intimate with JF.

UPDATE

Camille has moved on, and is now focusing on the WaPo op-ed, trying to get Amber to admit that the piece was obviously about Johnny -- but Amber's insisting it was not about him.

UPDATE
UPDATE

7:38 AM PT -- Vasquez is bringing up journal entries Amber and Johnny entered following the Australia incident in March -- when they were on a "honeymoon phase" -- and it appears Amber admitted in writing to "her part" in whatever might've happened Down Under.

UPDATE

The entries being presented are mostly from the summer of 2015, and in some of the writings ... Amber seems head-over-heels in love with JD, while acknowledging the ups and downs of their relationship.

UPDATE

Vasquez is also asking about them going to the Bahamas in 2015 -- where Amber claims Johnny sexually assaulted her in a bathroom, and that she was trying to get away from him -- but Vasquez points out the manager of Johnny's island, Tara Roberts, has testified to seeing Amber come after Johnny (not the other way around).

Amber Heard's story about the Australia incident that claimed Johnny Depp's finger is getting diced up and tossed in the fire on cross-examination ... she's knee-deep in a grilling.

The actress is enduring rapid-fire questioning by JD's attorney, Camille Vasquez, who is getting into the weeds on just about every one of Amber's allegations of physical assault -- as well as the notorious lost digit tale that's up on the chopping block Tuesday morning.

Vasquez is asking about the exact sequence of events -- insisting Amber has testified to specific actions happening in specific order -- but AH says she can't recall what happened first/next, etc. ... while also claiming she's never said she did remember the chronology.

It's interesting -- what's being dissected here is the claim Johnny sexually assaulted Amber with a liquor bottle of some sort -- the same day JD lost his finger, BTW -- which Vasquez is attempting to pick apart by going through the alleged assault in slow-motion, frame by frame ... constantly bringing up her previous testimony, either in this trial or in older depositions.

CHALLENGING HER CLAIMS

Here's another thing that Johnny's team is latching onto consistently ... the fact that there seems to be little to no medical records documenting horrific injuries Amber claims she suffered -- including the ones in Australia -- but now, Amber seems to be saying that her perception of some of the injuries at the time might've been worse than the reality.

In any case ... Amber has acknowledged she didn't seek medical treatment for a lot of the alleged injuries, but maintains they did in fact happen -- and that Johnny was responsible.

Vasquez is constantly trying to keep Amber on track and focused on exactly the questions she's being asked -- and while the questioning is tenacious, Amber seems to be holding up pretty well. CV's clearly going to be diving in on just about everything Amber's testified to -- which has been a lot thus far.

The cross-examination is just getting started, and it's bound to get even juicier.
