Third Eye Blind Sued I Want Something Else ... My 'Semi-Charmed' Kinda Dough!!!

Published | Updated

So, this is how it's gonna be -- Kevin Cadogan is so done waiting for Third Eye Blind to cough up cash, the ex-lead guitarist is suing the band and its frontman, Stephan Jenkins.

In the suit, obtained by TMZ, Kevin says he's never been paid his cut from the band's re-released debut album -- and, as a founding member, he says he's owed at least 25 percent of the profits.

Kevin says he co-wrote and co-created the songs "Kiss Goodnight," "Scattered," "Heroin" and the band's "Semi-Charmed Life." All 4 are featured on the re-released debut, so he's expecting to get paid for them.

Further, Kev -- who left the band in 2000 -- says Stephan cut him off from royalties on a slew of the band's other hits.

He's suing for a court order establishing him as a copyright holder on all the disputed tracks ... as well as an accounting on how much money the songs have generated. His ultimate goal? Getting his fair share of the pie.

Harvey Weinstein Lead Det. Told Victim to Delete Info from Her Phone

Published | Updated

The case against Harvey Weinstein suffered a massive blow when prosecutors had to admit the lead detective on the case advised one of the alleged victims to delete information from her phone.

Prosecutors sent a letter Wednesday to Weinstein's attorney, Ben Brafman, informing him that NYPD Det. Nicholas DiGaudio had a conversation with the alleged rape victim about the contents of her phone before she turned it over to the D.A.'s Office.

According to the letter, the woman was concerned about prosecutors seeing things on her phone. It's unclear if that info was relevant to the case -- but the problem for prosecutors is, according to the letter, Det. DiGaudio told her to delete anything she was concerned about, and added ... "we just won't tell [the assistant D.A]."

It's a huge setback for the prosecution, especially on the heels of the Lucia Evans bombshell. As we reported, DiGaudio failed to disclose a witness statement to prosecutors -- and, as a result, the sexual assault charge against Weinstein was dropped.

The D.A.'s Office says it's still moving forward with the case against Weinstein.

Brafman tells TMZ, "Only those totally uninformed would suggest that these are 'technical' issues. Nothing is further from the truth. The fact is that these issues undermine the fundamental integrity of the judicial process. This case is falling apart because it is a fundamentally bad case and bad cases eventually fall apart even when law enforcement officials try and stack the deck against the accused."

ShamWow Guy Wife Files for Divorce

Published | Updated

Vince Offer -- the guy made famous by the ShamWow infomercials -- apparently couldn't soak up the problems in his marriage ... and his wife has officially filed for divorce.

Offer married Melody Barney in Malibu in 2014, and she submitted divorce papers -- obtained by TMZ -- Wednesday in L.A. to start the process to make them legally single.

According to the divorce docs, Barney is asking for legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old daughter. She says Offer can have visitation time. She's also asking for spousal support.

Vince hatched the ShamWow idea back in 2006, and the commercial made him famous in 2009 ... and it only cost $20,000 to make.

Offer had some legal issues ... back in 2009, he was arrested for allegedly hiring a prostitute who bit his tongue during a hookup and wouldn't let go until he punched her. Both Offer and the woman were arrested for felony aggravated battery.

Offer hasn't done a whole lot since the ShamWow days ... with a few acting and voice acting credits to his name.

Rihanna sued over F.U. Logo F.U., RiRi ... You Jacked Our Logo!!!

Published | Updated

Rihanna has used F.U. as a business card for her clothing biz, and now another company is firing back ... FU, Rihanna.

Freedom United Clothing claims in a new lawsuit it owns the 'FU' trademark ... something they've used since 2006.

As you know ... Rihanna did a deal with PUMA where she had the company slap F.U. on her sweatshirts, jewelry and sandals, and Freedom United says that's just stealing.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, the company claims RiRi knew there was an existing FU logo, because she was photographed in one of their hoodies in 2014 and, even before that, then-BF Chris Brown attended Freedom United's launch party back in 2007.

The suit goes on to say PUMA touts Rihanna as a lawbreaker of sorts, noting on PUMA's website it refers to the singer as "most likely to break the rules." Well, they say F.U. is evidence of that.

This isn't the first time Freedom United lashed out ... they fired off a cease-and-desist letter demanding that PUMA and Rihanna back off.

Freedom United is also suing PUMA for an order prohibiting future sales and damages.

Soccer Star Arturo Vidal Convicted In Nightclub Attack Smashed Man With Vodka Bottle

Published | Updated

Chilean soccer superstar Arturo Vidal -- one of the best players in the world -- has been convicted in a 2017 nightclub attack in Germany where officials say he cracked a dude in the head with a vodka bottle.

Vidal -- who currently plays for Barcelona -- was ordered to appear in court on Wednesday to face an aggravated battery charge for the incident at Crown's Club, back when Vidal was playing for Bayern Munich.

Officials say the 31-year-old grabbed a 3-LITER BOTTLE and smashed another clubgoer during the night in question -- reportedly opening up a gash in the victim's head and causing a traumatic brain injury.

The entire fight was reportedly captured on surveillance video.

Officials say Vidal's half-brother, Sandrino, was also involved in the attack.

Both men were ordered to appear in a Munich court on Wednesday -- but didn't show up.

Vidal was in Mexico playing for Chile in an international friendly match, so he and his bro were convicted in absentia, according to reports out of Germany.

Vidal was ordered to pay $923,000 in fines. Sandrino got a $20k fine and Vidal's father-in-law (who was also there) was fined $41,000.

Seems like a good deal for Vidal who was facing up to 10 years in prison.

The two reportedly have two weeks to appeal the fines.

We're told Dallon's hopeful that iDKHOW will get their stuff back, and he isn't planning on pressing charges.

Panic! at the Disco's former bass player is really panicking after a bunch of his new band's gear and property got jacked from their hotel room ... TMZ has learned.

Dallon Weekes says he and his band, iDKHOW, got all of their stuff stolen early Wednesday morning from their suite at the Dream Hotel in Hollywood. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... personal belongings, electronics and band equipment were taken ... totaling about $10,000.

But, Dallon's biggest concern is all the new music his band was working on was also taken, and he's not sure how they'll be able to tour after this setback.

Our sources say someone forced their way into Dallon's room early Wednesday morning. iDKHOW members weren't there ... they'd been out performing at a private gig Tuesday night.

Not all hope is lost though -- Dallon says the Dream Hotel has informed him they have surveillance footage of the alleged culprit.

Police are investigating, and Dallon says he's holding out hope they can get their stuff back.

T.I. Prosecutors Drop Assault Charge ... In Confrontation with Security Guard

Published | Updated

T.I. just got cut a partial break after prosecutors dropped his outrageous charge in a case that a lot of people think is racially motivated.

You'll recall, T.I. was arrested back in May after getting into it with the guy at the guard shack in his gated community outside Atlanta. The guard -- who was sleeping when the rapper rolled up -- demanded to see ID and when T.I. couldn't produce it the guard wouldn't let him in.

At one point T.I. said repeatedly, "You're making it worse for yourself, man ... You're gonna have to deal with me." Apparently, cops thought that was a criminal threat and arrested him for assault. Well, that dog don't hunt, so prosecutors have decided to drop the charge.

T.I. still faces 3 counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct and one count of misdemeanor public drunkenness.

Unbelievable.

Mel B Punched Model After Photo Op ... So Claims Model

Published | Updated

10:17 AM PT -- A source close to Mel tells us any claims she struck Thomas are absolutely false. We're told Mel agreed to take a photo with the model and he continued to follow her around the venue, however, Mel never got physical with him. Our sources say Mel's team is already looking into possible legal action.

Mel B allegedly got handsy with a male model who went to cops, and now she's under criminal investigation ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us Dujuan Thomas filed a report Sunday with LAPD, claiming Mel hit him in the chest Saturday night, after a hotel fashion show they both attended. Dujuan walked the runway, and Mel was in the audience.

We're told Dujuan ran into Mel backstage and asked her to take a picture with him and she obliged ... at first. Turns out, he didn't like the photo and asked for another one -- and that's when Mel allegedly hit him in the chest with her right hand.

Our sources say Dujuan told cops he ran into Mel again, later that night, at the same hotel. When she recognized him, she allegedly gave him a second blow to the chest.

We got video of Dujuan following and recording Mel in a hotel hallway, moments before the alleged second hit. She was walking with girlfriends, who noticed they were being followed. Mel turned around abruptly, seemingly to confront him, but the video cuts out.

Our law enforcement sources say Dujuan did not report any injuries and did not require medical attention. However, the case is still under investigation and we're told it'll eventually make its way to the L.A. City Attorney, who will determine if they want to prosecute.

We've reached out to Mel's camp for comment ... so far, no word back.

Charlotte Flair Sued By Ex-Husband I'm Not Sterile!!

Published | Updated

3:35 PM PT -- WWE tells TMZ Sports, "We recently received what appears to be a meritless lawsuit and we will vigorously defend ourselves."

When reached Ric Flair had no comment.

WWE superstar Charlotte Flair is being sued by her ex-husband who claims she defamed him in her new book by falsely claiming he shoots blanks.

It's all in new legal docs filed by Riki Paul Johnson and obtained by TMZ Sports ... in which he goes after Charlotte, her father Ric Flair and the WWE, demanding more than $5 MILLION in damages.

Riki's beef is with the book 'Second Nature' -- which Ric and Charlotte wrote together and released in Sept. 2017.

In his suit, Riki claims the Flairs wrote negatively about his relationship with Charlotte -- and falsely stated that he is sterile and incapable of fathering children.

FYI, Riki and Charlotte -- real name Ashley Fliehr -- were married from 2010 to 2011.

Riki says the allegations in the book have humiliated his family -- including his 3 children -- because they're now the subject of ridicule and shame by people who believe the Flairs.

Riki also claims the book contains "multiple false allegations physical and/or psychological abuse" -- which he believes he can prove based on police reports and dash cam footage.

He also claims the Flairs wrongly claimed he was fired from 2 jobs due to illicit drug use.

In his suit, Riki claims he was intentionally painted as a villain in order to make Charlotte seem like a "victim who overcame personal adversity and domestic abuse."

He also claims WWE was involved in the marketing of the book -- so, they should be held liable as well.

We've reached out to the Flairs and WWE for comment -- so far, no official comment.

Stormy Daniels to Prez Trump Once Again You Came Up 'Short' By Calling Me 'Horseface'

Published | Updated

Grab your popcorn -- President Trump and Stormy Daniels are trading biting insults, directly at each other, and as you'd probably expect he started it, she finished with ... a d**k joke.

First, POTUS did what he does Tuesday morning ... brag about his victory over Stormy in her defamation lawsuit. As we reported, it was dismissed Monday -- and he celebrated by tweeting "Now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas."

Ouch, right?

Not to worry, Stormy fired back, "In addition to his ...umm...shortcomings, he demonstrated his incompetence, hatred of women and lack of self control on Twitter AGAIN! And perhaps a penchant for bestiality."

Gotta give her 2 bonus points for the self-effacing humor. Her final low blow? "Game on, Tiny."

Here's how we're scoring it at the buzzer:
Trump - 1
Daniels - 3

We hope suspect this ain't over, though.

LeSean McCoy Accusers Suing NFL Star ... More Than $13 Mil

Published | Updated

The women who claim they were violently attacked during a home invasion allegedly orchestrated by LeSean McCoy are suing the Buffalo Bills star for more than $13 million, TMZ Sports has learned.

McCoy's ex-girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, is demanding at least $10 million and her friend, Elizabeth Donald, is asking for at least $3.5 million for damages suffered in the July 10 incident.

Donald claims she was pistol whipped by the masked man who broke into the Georgia home where they were staying and has suffered serious mental anguish and emotional distress as a result.

Of course, Cordon has been very public about her injuries -- showing photos of her bruised face also inflicted by the home invader (photo below).

Both Cordon and Donald believe McCoy masterminded the attack -- and therefore should be liable for any damages they suffered.

For his part, McCoy has adamantly denied any involvement and he has not been named a suspect in the criminal case.

IT'S ALL FAKE

"Family Matters" star Darius McCrary says it's absurd to think he dislocated his 2-year-old daughter's arm -- as his estranged wife claims -- and suggests his daughter was coached into faking the injury.

We spoke to Darius after his estranged wife, Tammy Brawner, filed docs claiming he dislocated little Zoey's arm in March 2018 while attempting to take her to the bathroom. Zoey was reportedly diagnosed with Nursemaid’s Elbow ... a common childhood injury where the child's elbow partially dislocates.

She believes Darius is to blame, but he told us all that happened when he picked up Zoey at the time and she said, "Ow." He acknowledges Tammy took Zoey to a hospital, but says he saw evidence she was fine ... and revealed his conspiracy theory about his ex.

President Trump Take That, Stormy!! Defamation Lawsuit Tossed

Published | Updated

Stormy Daniels is taking an "L" in court in her legal war with President Trump -- a judge just dismissed her defamation suit against him.

Stormy had sued the Prez for saying she lied about the mysterious man she claims threatened her in 2011 to stop talking about Trump. She had even released a sketch of the man ... which Trump immediately shot holes in on social media.

He tweeted, "A sketch years later about a nonexistent man. A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!"

Monday, a federal judge tossed the suit, describing the tweet as "rhetorical hyperbole" against a political adversary. The court said it would be an unreasonable standard if politicians could sue every time an opponent fired verbal jabs.

It's interesting because ... the judge is characterizing Stormy as a politician. In the rule, he wrote ... Stormy had tried to "publicly present herself as a political adversary to [Trump]."

Stormy's lawsuit seeking to nullify the so-called "hush agreement" with Trump is still active.

Her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, plans to appeal the dismissal. If that's unsuccessful, Stormy will have to pay Trump's attorney fees.

'L&HH' Star Erica Mena Arrested with Boyfriend Near ATL

Published | Updated

'Love & Hip Hop' star Erica Mena was arrested this past weekend for weed, which becomes an afterthought when you hear her boyfriend was also arrested after allegedly kicking in a door to get to her during an argument.

Erica and her BF, Clifford Dixon, were hauled off to jail Friday in Johns Creek, GA -- about 27 miles outside of Atlanta -- after someone called cops from their home to report an argument getting out of hand. Once cops arrived, they interviewed different people in the home and discovered Cliff and Erica had been fighting ... and that Cliff allegedly kicked through a bedroom door to a room in which Erica had locked herself.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, one of Erica and Cliff's roommates heard them fighting upstairs and apparently heard someone get slapped. Cops say they didn't see any visible marks on either person, but ended up busting Cliff when 2 different people reported he'd kicked through the door. He denied breaking it.

Cliff was arrested for criminal trespass because Erica told cops the property was in her name. Meanwhile, Erica was arrested for possession of bud.

Cops say Erica admitted smoking weed and that she had some inside her home. Cops say they found baggies of weed and possible THC wax in her bedroom and her kitchen.

Erica was featured on season 7 of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" ... but she'd previously been a main cast member on "Love & Hip Hop: New York."

Ex-College Football Star Justin Crawford Arrested ... Incest, Sodomy

Published | Updated

8:31 AM PT -- Prosecutors say Crawford's victim is a 12-year-old girl.

Officials say Crawford's wife caught the football star in a sexual situation with the victim around 5 AM on Saturday morning.

When pressed by investigators, officials say Crawford eventually admitted having sexual intercourse and oral sex with the girl -- and said it was her idea.

The girl told investigators she was asleep in the living room when Crawford began to sexually assault her.

A rape kit was later administered on the girl.

Crawford is currently behind bars -- being held without bond.

Justin Crawford -- the former West Virginia star running back -- has been arrested in Georgia on some pretty disgusting charges, TMZ Sports has learned.

Officials confirm ... the 23-year-old is facing charges of incest, child molestation sodomy and enticing a child for indecent purpose, all felonies.

Details surrounding the allegations are unclear at this point, we're working on it.

What we know ... Crawford was taken into custody on Saturday and booked. We've obtained his mug shot.

Crawford was a huge junior college star before transferring to West Virginia after the 2015 season. In fact, he was the 2015 national junior college player of the year.

While at WVU, he racked up two 1,000 yard rushing seasons in a row -- but didn't get drafted.

He was later signed as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Falcons in 2018 -- but was cut in September after a poor showing in several preseason games.

Attempts to reach Crawford for comment have been unsuccessful.

Cristiano Ronaldo United Front with Girlfriend Amid Rape Allegations

Published | Updated

Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend is sticking right by his side while the soccer star continues to fight a rape allegation out of Las Vegas ... as the couple hit up a dinner hot spot together in Paris.

CR7 and Georgina Rodriguez were spotted at Cesar restaurant on Sunday ... the same day his Portugal national team played a friendly match with Scotland.

Ronaldo had previously announced he would be taking time away from the team (he's missed the last 2 matches) -- and although he didn't specifically cite the rape case ... it's obvious why.

As we previously reported, Ronaldo is being sued by a woman who claims he sexually assaulted her in the soccer star's penthouse suite back in 2009. The accuser claims Ronaldo trapped her in a bathroom and sodomized her against her will despite telling him "stop" multiple times.

The woman claims Ronaldo later paid her more than $300,000 to sign a non-disclosure agreement which would essentially guarantee her silence. The woman claims she's been inspired by the #MeToo movement and now wants the agreement nullified.

CR7 has vehemently denied any wrongdoing ... calling the allegations "fake news" and saying "rape is an abominable crime that goes against everything that I am and believe in."

Georgina's clearly siding with her man.
