11:01 AM PT -- Fuller's brother called 911 after the RB collapsed to the ground and told the operator it appeared he was having a seizure.

The caller said Fuller had "passed out" -- though it's unclear if he was conscious at that point.

C.J.'s brother and other family members desperately tried to help Fuller -- following the operator's instructions -- and begged for an ambulance to be sent over quickly.

8:20 AM PT -- A source extremely close to Fuller tells us the football star had gone to physical therapy to rehab his knee in the hours before his death ... and it was clear something was wrong.

We're told Fuller tore his ACL playing in a flag football game roughly 2 weeks ago and had surgery to repair the injury at the end of September.

Fuller went to physical therapy for the first time on Wednesday (10/3) as part of his recovery and completed a full session without issue.

When he arrived back to his home, we're told he "went to the ground" and asked for water -- clearly feeling something was wrong.

People close to C.J. called for an ambulance and he was rushed to a nearby hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

There are rumblings Fuller's death was a direct result of complications from the knee surgery -- but we're told that hasn't been determined yet.

We spoke with the coroner who told us a death investigation is underway.

7:58 AM PT -- We spoke with the Pickens County coroner who tells us there is death investigation underway but she notes, "Nothing suspicious."

Ex-Clemson running back C.J. Fuller -- a key player on Clemson's 2016 National Championship team -- has died, the school has confirmed.

He was only 22 years old.

The cause of Fuller's death is unclear. We're working on gathering information.

Fuller played in 43 games for the Tigers -- and proved to be a talented and capable back on the field. Off the field, Fuller had issues ... he was arrested back in March for allegedly robbing someone at gunpoint in South Carolina.

Clemon's coach Dabo Swinney issued a statement saying, "Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathies are with C.J.'s family."

"I've known C.J. a long time and watched him grow up through the Easley rec leagues [in South Carolina] all the way through Easley High School. I'm proud of what he accomplished as a Clemson Tiger, most of all his accomplishment of being a Clemson graduate."

"Our deepest condolences and the thoughts of our program are with his family this evening. May he rest in peace."

Fuller's former Clemson teammate Shaq Lawson (who now plays for the Buffalo Bills) also commented on social media ... saying, "My brother I am hurting right now."'

"Somebody wake me up from this nightmare. My brother was supposed to come see me tomorrow. I love you bruh until we meet again."

12:19 PM PT -- TMZ Sports has obtained a photo of the "exploded eyeball" injury ... and warning, it's pretty gnarly.

The person who shot the photo tells us everyone in the area was "freaking out" -- but fortunately, medical personnel were able to keep their composure and treat the victim.

Brooks Koepka also issued a statement saying, "I was deeply hurt and saddened by the tragic accident that occurred when a shot I hit off the 6th tee struck Miss Remande."

"I spoke to her at the time on the golf course and after now learning her condition is worse than first thought, I have made contact with her/family to offer my sincere and heartfelt sympathy."

"I am heartbroken by the incident. My thoughts remain with Miss Remande and her family, and I have asked to be kept informed on her condition."

The woman lying on the ground in this photo claims her eyeball "exploded" when she was struck by a Brooks Koepka tee shot at the Ryder Cup ... and now she's threatening to sue.

49-year-old Corine Remande was watching the USA vs. Europe event on Friday morning at the Le Golf National club in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (near Paris) ... when Koepka's 6th hole tee shot hooked left and smacked her in the face.

Remande crumpled to the ground while fans and medical personnel rushed to tend to her. Koepka also raced over to check on her and gave her a signed glove.

The woman was transported to a local eye specialist. It was revealed she had suffered a "fracture of the right socket and the explosion of the eyeball."

Now, Remande is pointing the finger at Ryder Cup tournament officials -- claiming they failed to properly warn and protect spectators from wild golf shots.

She's considering her legal options -- but hasn't filed a lawsuit yet.

However, a Ryder Cup spokesperson says "fore" was shouted several times before it hit the fan.

Koepka commented on the incident after winning his match with Tony Finau, saying "It doesn't feel good, it really doesn't. You feel terrible for them."

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got married -- TMZ has learned -- and for some reason, they chose to lie about it.

Justin and Hailey actually tied the knot last month in NYC -- the same day they got their marriage license at the courthouse. They had a preacher on hand -- Jeffrey Quinn, a member of the faculty at Nyack College near the courthouse.

The witness was Josh Mehl, a friend of Justin's who attends Churchome in Los Angeles.

Fact is ... People mag got it right.

As we reported, Justin and Hailey both reached out to lawyers for a prenup, but now the plot thickens. We're told they reached out the very same day they got hitched, but there was no way to get a prenup drafted and signed that quickly.

So, Justin and Hailey got married without a prenup and there's been no movement to have one drafted now. It's called a postnup -- same as a prenup but signed after the marriage.

One source said Justin is so in love he doesn't see the need for one. How's this for a need -- Justin's net worth is estimated at $250 million and Hailey is reportedly worth a couple of mil.

We're told they still plan to have a formal ceremony, but it would be a ceremony in name only because they are already husband and wife.

Cardi B is ready to go at Nicki Minaj yet again ... this time through a brand new track which she's got in the works with her foe's ex.

Sources tell TMZ Cardi recently stepped into the studio with none other than Meek Mill to lay down some material that'll be used in a forthcoming song. We're told they cranked out hooks and verses -- all of which is fair game for a final product that's yet to be released.

Unclear on who the featured artist would be, but we do know that Meek's got an album in the works right now. Sources also say the content Cardi and Meek recorded has the potential to be a huge hit ... so, clearly, expectations are high.

Adding insult to injury, the new duo were seen being friendly last week at the Billboard 2018 R&B Hip-Hop Power Players party in NYC ... where Meek was given the Impact Award.

While we're told the collab happened a few months ago, the timing is nothing short of less-than-perfect for Nicki ... who's in the middle of a good ol' fashioned beef with Cardi.

Their NYFW fight earlier this month left Cardi with a fat lump on her eye ... and a lot of ill will between the two. That hasn't prevented them from being in the same vicinity though since then.

Ben Affleck's not done with rehab yet, but he's still squeezing in studio meetings ... 'cause a guy's gotta make a living.

Ben was spotted heading into a Warner Bros. office Wednesday, and looked like a man who means business. In Hollywood, that means script-in-hand and that appears to be the case here. There's a report Ben completed rehab treatment in Malibu, but our sources say nothing's further from the truth.

We're told Ben's still getting treatment and -- much like when he took a workout break earlier this month -- the famed actor took a break to attend this meeting as well. We're told he's doing well with treatment.

2:38 PM PT -- Dave Portnoy has released a statement to TMZ Sports ... saying “Michael Rapaport is a loser. There is nothing worse than somebody who claims to be the king of trash talk and then cries when people respond in kind."

"Unfortunately as much I’d love to take credit for ruining his career he did it to himself by being an unhinged lunatic. We wish him nothing but the best as he fades into oblivion.”

Michael Rapaport says that sore on his lip is NOT herpes -- and now he's suing Barstool Sports claiming the media outlet and its most famous staffers are defaming him.

Rapaport used to work with Barstool -- in fact, he had a podcast on Barstool's platform.

But, the two sides had a nasty breakup back in February after Rapaport referred to "Stoolies" as "losers in life."

Barstool president Dave Portnoy told TMZ Sports at the time the move was not a publicity stunt -- "To me, it was very personal. It was very real."

Rapaport claims Barstool then embarked on a smear campaign against him -- publicly claiming he suffered from herpes and creating a t-shirt (which they sold) highlighting a sore on Rap's mouth.

Rapaport says some of the staffers -- including Portnoy, KFC and Smitty -- mocked him publicly, calling him names like "herpe having, race baiting, D-list actor" and "old crusty herpe."

Rapaport says he's been defamed -- because he "does not suffer from herpes."

Jayson Werth would not go quietly into that good night during his April DUI arrest -- refusing to submit to field sobriety tests and forcing cops to get a warrant to draw his blood.

TMZ Sports obtained the incident report from the April 17 arrest -- in which the Scottsdale PD says Werth was pulled over around 10:45 PM after officers noticed expired plates on the truck he was driving.

Right when they pulled him over, cops say Werth threw a lit cigarette out the window -- and when officers approached the ride, he reeked of smoke and booze and slurred when he talked.

Cops say Werth tried to the play the MLB card -- literally -- handing them an ID card which showed he was a pro ball player. Werth then said, "We do a lot of work with you guys."

Werth initially denied drinking alcohol -- but later admitted to having a glass of wine. When cops asked him to perform various field sobriety tests, including a breathalyzer, he refused.

Werth was arrested and taken to a nearby station where he told cops he would not consent to tests of his blood and breath. So, officials requested a warrant to forcibly draw blood -- and it was granted.

Once notified, Werth told cops, "I have no recourse?" An officer essentially told him no and Werth ultimately complied with the blood draw.

When the test came back, the blood showed a .12 B.A.C. -- well over the .08 legal limit.

Werth's case went in front of a judge last week where he cut a plea deal in which he pled guilty to 1 count of DUI. In exchange, 2 other charges were dropped and he was sentenced to a diversion program, ordered to pay fines and fees totaling $1,600 and his license will be suspended.

9:59 AM PT -- Glover also performed Friday in Vegas at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. We're told he arrived to his set in a wheelchair and leg brace, removing it before he got onstage. It appears Sunday night's incident was a result of aggravating the preexisting injury. It seems to support what several eyewitnesses told us, which is that he appears to have broken his foot.

6:50 AM PT -- We're told an official at the American Airlines Center said after the show Childish Gambino broke his foot.

Childish Gambino was injured Sunday night in Dallas during a concert.

He was onstage at the American Airlines Center and 30 minutes before the concert was set to end he suddenly walked off stage and didn't return.

It's unclear what happened. One concertgoer tells us Childish Gambino -- aka Donald Glover -- was attempting to do the splits and hurt himself. Several others say he misstepped during a dance move.

He left the stage without performing his songs, "Redbone" and "3005."

It was part of his This is America Tour. He repeated his promise last night ... that this would be his last concert tour ever.

People in the crowd seemed confused when Childish Gambino left the stage. They began doing the wave, hoping for an encore. The announcer then told the crowd the concert was over.

We do not know the severity of the injury.

9:20 AM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ one of the pyrotechnics fell over when the firework unit malfunctioned, causing a spark to shoot out.

Two people in the crowd suffered minor injuries -- one person hit in the stomach and the other in the eye. They were both treated on scene.

ODESZA's set at Life is Beautiful Music Festival came to a terrifying end when a rogue firework shot off straight into the crowd.

The group was finishing its set Sunday night at the Las Vegas event with a massive firework display when something clearly went wrong, and one of the explosions went off in the crowd. It's unclear how many people were injured from the blast.

One member of the audience wrote of the mishap, "Literally saw someone get hit by an explosive firework RIGHT next to us during the ODESZA set and it was SOO traumatic. Wtf."

ODESZA was among one of the last acts of the weekend for the annual music festival. Other performers included The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Arcade Fire and Florence + The Machine.

We've reached out to a rep for ODESZA ... so far, no word back.

Liev Schreiber can sleep a little easier tonight -- a judge just dismissed a harassment charge stemming from an alleged run-in with a photographer.

According to new legal docs ... the "Ray Donovan" actor's actions in June -- when he allegedly told a guy snapping pics to "get the f*** out of here" and pushed his camera away -- didn't rise to the level of harassment.

Schreiber's happy with the outcome, telling TMZ ... "All too often, cases like mine are tried and lost in the court of public opinion long before a judge has even heard the motions. That’s why I am particularly pleased and grateful for the swift and decisive dismissal handed down by the Judge in mine.”

The June 7 incident went down in Nyack, NY while Liev was in the street shooting his hit Showtime show. The photographer claimed he was attacked by Schreiber while trying to snap a shot, but Liev denied making any bodily contact.

Die-hard Burt Reynolds fans down for a beer run to Texarkana and back in 28 hours can now do it with one of Burt's personal cars ... but it's gonna cost 'em a pretty penny.

The late actor's car collection is set to hit the auction block on Sept. 29 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Burt's personally-owned cars (titled and registered to Burt) are spectacular -- the 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is a recreation of the iconic Pontiac in "Smokey and the Bandit."

There's also another '78 Trans Am that's a recreation from the one used in "Hooper" and an '84 Trans Am that was used to promote the USFL Tampa Bay Bandits, which Burt, of course, owned. It's not just Trans Ams though ... a 1987 Chevrolet R30 pickup's also up for grabs. It's a recreation for the one used in 'Cannonball Run.'

9/19 -- Wanda Barzee has been released from the Utah prison shortly after 7 AM PT Wednesday morning after more than 15 years behind bars.

Elizabeth Smart's kidnapper, Wanda Barzee -- who's set to be released from prison Wednesday after 15 years behind bars -- better stay away from her former captive ... or she'll be right back in prison.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... once Barzee's out of prison, she'll be placed on supervised release by the U.S. Probation and Pretrial Services System. One term of her release includes no contact, of any form, with Elizabeth.

We're told this requirement is for the full 5 years of her supervised release. Once that ends, Elizabeth can go to court and ask a judge for a protective order -- and based on how she feels about Barzee ... we're betting she will.

Our sources say Barzee's housing arrangement ensures she won't be anywhere near Smart or her family, and federal probation officials will keep an eye on her while she's at home, and also at work, if she finds a job.

The feds will also be in contact with Elizabeth to make sure Wanda hasn't tried to contact her by phone or on the Internet. If she violates the conditions of her probation, Barzee will be brought before a federal judge ... who will likely sentence her to more prison time.

As we reported, despite the Utah parole board deeming Barzee unfit for release ... there's nothing it can do to keep her off the streets because state law requires her release by the time her sentence is complete.

Barzee pled guilty to helping kidnap 14-year-old Smart in 2002, and Smart says Wanda stood idly by as her other abductor, Brian David Mitchell, repeatedly raped her. Mitchell is serving a life sentence in Arizona.

Smart hasn't specified, but says she's taking extreme measures to protect her family.

Kanye West is moving to Chicago ... but that doesn't mean he's abandoning L.A.

Kanye made the announcement Monday at a Windy City event with Chance the Rapper, saying, "I gotta let y'all know that I'm moving back to Chicago and I'm never leaving again."

We know a thing or two about the latest development, and it has nothing to do with Kanye fleeing Los Angeles, where he lives with Kim Kardashian West and their 3 kids.

Sources close to Kanye say he and Kim have already found a home in Chi-Town and that's where we know he wants to establish his permanent residence, but they are keeping all of their properties in L.A.

In addition to the house they just built, they have multiple properties in L.A., including 300 acres that Kanye is developing, and that project is still a go.

We're told Kanye will move his Yeezy offices from Calabasas to Chicago.

It's a little confusing, but we're told Kanye views it this way ... that he will have a home base in Chicago, but apparently he believes he can have more than one home base.

2:38 PM PT -- Another eyewitness just walked us through what he saw ... he says Mark and Roma were walking up the stairs and stopped at the top to talk to someone. Within seconds, the eyewitness said, "Tom came charging up the steps and it was on." The eyewitness says it was clear Tom was there to confront Mark and, in a flash, Mark had his hands on Tom's throat, and Tom was tearing at Mark's shirt and ripping off his crucifix.

The eyewitness says it was all over in 15 seconds because "Survivor" host Jeff Probst separated them. The eyewitness also says Bryan Fogel was there filming the whole thing and it looked planned because the altercation was quick and without warning.

The eyewitness also says Tom was at the party for several hours telling people about the confrontation.

Tom has a show that premieres Tuesday, and the way the eyewitness put it, "Tom got the reaction he wanted. He got even more than he bargained for."

11:34 AM PT -- Tom just left the police station and provided more detail from the scuffle. He says Burnett choked him so violently he needs a doctor and he truly believed Mark wanted to kill him.

10:50 AM PT -- An eyewitness tells TMZ he saw the altercation this way ... Burnett and his wife, Roma Downey, had just arrived at the party and walked up the staircase to get inside. We're told just as they got to the top stair, Arnold came charging at them and pushed Burnett. The eyewitness says Burnett pushed Arnold back and then Arnold ripped Burnett's crucifix off his neck, breaking it. Arnold said it was a gold chain but in fact, it was a crucifix.

The altercation lasted no more than 30 seconds and they all stayed at the party.

Earlier in the day, Arnold told Salon.com he wanted to confront Burnett at the Emmys ceremony. Arnold also called Burnett a "p***y."

10:15 AM PT -- Tom is currently filing a police report with the LAPD.

Tom Arnold claims mega-producer Mark Burnett attacked him at a pre-Emmy party, but Burnett's wife claims it was the opposite ... Arnold ambushed Mark.

It went down Sunday night ... Arnold tweeted, "Mark Burnett just went apeshit & choked me at this huge Emmy party then he ran away with his torn pink shirt & missing gold chain. I'm waiting for LAPD."

Burnett's wife, Roma Downey, says Arnold "tried to ambush" her and Mark. She says Arnold hurt her and she posted a pic of a bruise on her hand, claiming Arnold was the culprit.

Arnold, who said he was waiting for the LAPD, fired back, "Bullshit. You lie your crazy husband attacked me you psycho. I'm filing a police report & suing you for defamation."

We checked with LAPD ... so far no report.

Right after the fight, Tom posed for pics with other people in the party, including Patton Oswalt and Billy Eichner ... who cheekily said, "Everyone in LA is shaken. Hold your loved ones tight."

Arnold has been working on a show for Vice ... a show about so-called "hidden Trump tapes." One of the things Arnold is after ... the outtakes from "The Apprentice," which Burnett created and produces. Arnold believes the tapes reveal Trump using the n-word and other epithets. Burnett has said he has no access to the tapes because they're owned by MGM.

Nipsey Hussle's L.A. clothing store was the backdrop for fighting and gunfire Friday.

Eyewitnesses tell TMZ 2 customers got into an all-out brawl in the parking lot. One of them was getting beaten up pretty badly, and that guy decided to even the playing field he'd pull out his gun and fire shots in the air ... which he did.

The beater got the message and fled.

Cops were called to the Crenshaw-area store and found blood in the parking lot. When they went inside the 3 employees refused to talk.

Nipsey was not at the store, which has become quite the thing in the area ... super popular.

Nipsey was in NYC at the Diamond Ball.

Cops want to review surveillance video, but it's unclear if the people who own the cam are willing to fork it over.
