HE DESERVED THE 'W'

No, Tyron Woodley did NOT get screwed over by the judges on Sunday ... so says Mike Tyson, who tells TMZ Sports Jake Paul was the clear winner of the epic boxing match.

The split decision in favor of the YouTube superstar was met with serious backlash on social media ... with folks from Claressa Shields to Ben Askren to Tyron himself saying he should have had his hand raised after 8 rounds.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

So, in order to settle the debate once and for all, we caught up with Iron Mike at the Four Seasons in New York and asked for his take ... and there's no doubt in his mind who won.

"Jake Paul won," Tyson told us ... adding, "I love Jake Paul. Tyron Woodley did his best."

Now, Woodley wants to get a rematch with Paul to prove he can really whoop his ass ... but Jake may not let it happen if Tyron doesn't agree to get the "I Love Jake Paul" tat.

A lot has gone down since Tyron lost -- Jake retired and later unretired -- but it sounds like we haven't heard the last of Woodley in the ring.

Kanye West Manager Says Drake Feud Could Reignite ... If He Trashes Ye on New Album

Published | Updated

Kanye West's manager says all is cool with Ye and Chris Brown, but there's another possible beef that could flare up this Friday ... and it all hangs on what Drake has to say on his new album.

PART OF THE PROCESS

We got Bu Thiam at LAX Wednesday who tells us Kanye recently called Chris to work things out and the two are cool again. Chris went public with his frustrations earlier this week after Ye left him off the final product of "Donda" ... calling Kanye "a whole hoe."

Bu says artist features get left off albums all the time, and it was nothing personal against Chris. However, Bu didn't indicate that Kanye's settled anything with Soulja Boy, who was also pissed about being dropped from the album ... even challenging Kanye to a fight.

As we reported, Kanye and Drake have recently been at each other's throats, with Drake calling Kanye "burnt out" and Kanye posting the address to Drake's home in Toronto. Drake's set to drop his highly-anticipated "Certified Lover Boy" album Friday.

Bu tells us things are cool between Ye and Drizzy -- but that could all change if Drake takes aim at Kanye in any songs on 'CLB' -- where Kanye would almost certainly have to respond.

As for whether or not Kanye plans to tour "Donda" for fans across the country, Bu's got an answer for us ... but there's still a whole lot of mystery.

Ric Flair Barbed Wire Bat Sells For $20K ... From Mick Foley 'I Quit' Match In '06

Published | Updated

Ric Flair's barbed wire bat -- the one he used to smash and bloody Mick Foley's face at SummerSlam in 2006 -- just sold for nearly $20K at auction.

TMZ Sports has learned the Lucille-like bat, which was on the block at Goldin Auctions, was bid on 17 times ... and ultimately raked in $19,680.

The starting bid was $3,500.

The match is pretty iconic ... Flair repeatedly hit Foley in the face with the bat, turning him into a bloody pulp. But, Ric wouldn't stop, demanding Mick say, "I quit!"

It was the culmination of a rivalry between Naitch and Foley that lasted more than a decade.

As for the bat itself ... it's an Alex Rodriguez model Louisville Slugger C271 -- wrapped in barbed wire.

And, you know the bat's legit ... 'cause it's coming directly from the folks at WWE -- who have also included a letter of authenticity.

There's more really cool wrestling memorabilia that sold ... like Big Boss Man's match-used nightstick from SummerSlam in 1988. It sold for $6,765.

There's also Brutus Beefcake's shears from his '89 SummerSlam match ... when he teamed up with Hulk Hogan and took on Randy Savage. The scissors went for $8,400.

Woooooo.

Jake Paul I'm Retired ... After Beating Woodley

Published
UPDATE

3:46 PM PT -- Sunday night was the last time Paul will EVER step back in the ring ... at least, that's what he's saying on Twitter -- claiming he's now a "retired boxer."

UPDATE

Take this with a grain of salt -- Paul's been known to take a page out of Conor McGregor's book ... and who knows how many times that guy's retired and un-retired.

UPDATE

Then again, there are reports the fight had INSANE Pay-Per-View numbers, which means Paul will get a fat paycheck ... but still, the guy's only 24 and is one of the top paid fighters in the sport.

UPDATE

So ... see you soon, Jake??

Jake Paul just beat future UFC Hall of Famer Tyron Woodley via a split decision victory -- and then the fighters seemingly agreed to a rematch in the ring.

24-year-old Paul fought a good fight ... and was the more active fighter over the 8 rounds.

Woodley had his share of positive moments ... stunning Paul near the middle of the 4th round.

After the fight, during the post-fight interview -- which went down in front of a packed house at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland (Jake's hometown) -- the guys came face-to-face and seemed to agree to a rematch.

The condition ... if Woodley got the "I Love Jake Paul" tattoo done.

The action wasn't just in the ring ... stars like Dave Chappelle, Dustin Poirier, Andre Berto and a bunch of Olympians from Ohio were in the building.

Chappelle was REALLY into the fight ... jumping up-and-down behind the ring for nearly the entire scrap.

Paul said Woodley put up a better fight than he expected ... but called the split decision "bulls**t."

And, Jake won in more way than one ... sharing a post-fight kiss with GF Julia Rose.

As for the rest of the card ... Tyson Fury's bro, Tommy Fury won a 4-round unanimous decision victory over Anthony Taylor.

After getting his 1st dub on American soil, Tommy called out Jake ... challenging him to a fight.

Dave Chappelle Loses It At Paul-Woodley FIght 'Do It For the Culture!!!'

Published | Updated

"Tyron, let your hands go! F*** it!!!"

If you were wondering what Dave Chappelle was yelling during the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley fight, TMZ Sports has you covered ... 'cause we just got video of the comedy legend in the stands Sunday night -- and it's hilarious!!!

Of course, DC had ringside seats for the big event ... which means his every move was picked up by cameras on the Pay-Per-View broadcast -- from yelling to clapping and REALLY getting into the fight.

No matter how loud Chappelle was cheering, there was no way the mics were gonna be able to pick up exactly what he was saying ... but after checking out these vids, taken by Anthony Jones, we wish they did!

Before the fight, DC led an Ohio State-classic "OH-IO" chant -- after all, the fight was in Cleveland ... so we're sure there were plenty of Buckeyes in the stands.

Next, he took his focus to the fighters ... giving out some hilarious advice.

"Jake, grab his cheeks!!!," DC said, which is a reference to Paul recently complimenting Tyron's "big booty" and saying he wanted to squeeze his ass.

DC was then shouting for Woodley to let his hands go and throw some punches ... saying, "From Ferguson, Missouri, let them hands go!"

"This is for the culture, this is for the culture!!!"

Chappelle's cheerleading didn't really help, though ... as Jake secured a split decision win.

But, DC didn't seem too worried about it -- he actually linked up with the Paul bros after the fight and said he wanted free tickets to the rest of their fights!!!

Trent Dilfer Apologizes For Shoving H.S. Player ... In Sideline Meltdown

Published

NFL QB-turned-H.S. football coach Trent Dilfer is expressing his regret over a wild blowup on one of his players over the weekend ... saying he was flat-out wrong to shove and yell at the kid.

49-year-old Dilfer -- who won Super Bowl XXXV with the Baltimore Ravens -- went viral for unleashing on Lipscomb Academy star Beau Dawson (yeah, NFL kicker Phil Dawson's son) ... getting in his face and pushing him in an attempt to get him to sit on the bench during a game on Friday.

Now, Dilfer is apologizing for the whole incident ... releasing a statement via the team and praising the young player in the process.

"First and foremost, I take full responsibility as the head coach and leader of our team for not de-escalating an emotional situation with one of our players, Beau Dawson," Dilfer said.

"Beau is one of our finest student-athletes and embodies all the characteristics we are looking for in our Mustang players. Beau plays the game with the right kind of passion and is an inspiration to our other players."

He added ... "During a moment of frustration and in an attempt to get our team to play with more discipline, I unfairly singled Beau out."

Dilfer also defends Dawson from public criticism ... saying he should have done a better job controlling his own emotions during the incident.

"Overall, I could not be more proud of Beau and the rest of our team for how they handle the emotional nature of each game they compete in."

Jake Paul Steamy Bathroom Kiss W/ Julia Rose ... After Woodley Win

Jake Paul went from boxing to playing tonsil hockey after his big win over Tyron Woodley ... with the fighter sharing a sexy makeout with his girlfriend, Julia Rose!!!

The 24-year-old was all smiles following his split decision dub over the ex-UFC champ ... hitting up Barley House in Cleveland shortly after taking care of business in the ring.

Jake, Julia, Logan Paul and even the Problem Bot showed up for the party ... as well as UFC star Sean O'Malley.

@barleyhousecle, @wilsonmattlv / Instagram

The bash was nuts ... with cardboard cutouts of Jake's face, sparklers and a bunch of booze.

But, the biggest highlight of the night is the snap Jake posted on his Instagram early Monday morning ... showing off a steamy and sloppy kiss with his GF.

"This is what winning looks like," Jake captioned the shot ... and yeah, he ain't lying.

Of course, Julia was in the stands cheering on her man as he kept his undefeated record alive ... and the hot couple shared another smooch right after the win.

The whole city was electric all night ... even LeBron James tweeted his regrets missing out on the fun.

"CLEVELAND IS JUMPING!!," King James said. "Should have flew back to the crib."

Congrats on the wins, Jake!!!

Jake Paul, Tyron Woodley Fans Land Violent Haymakers ... In Wild Brawl In Stands

Published | Updated

Just before Jake Paul won his boxing match over Tyron Woodley on Sunday ... several fans beat the hell out of each other in the stands at the arena -- and the scrap was VIOLENT.

The melee took place just prior to Paul and Woodley's walkouts ... when a fan in a white T-shirt could be seen screaming at another -- appearing to yell, "f*** you."

Footage from the scene shows the screaming guy was then punched in the face ... and then all hell broke loose.

You can see in the video, two other fans joined the fracas ... with everybody throwing -- and landing -- wild haymakers.

It's unclear what started the fight or how it ended ... but we're guessing security was ultimately called to the scene to break it up.

Not clear if any arrests were made ... we've reached out to cops -- but so far, no word back yet.

As for the fighting in the ring ... Paul was very impressive in his fourth-ever boxing match, beating Woodley via a split decision.

The two fighters seemed to agree to a rematch afterward ... with Paul giving Woodley another shot if the former UFC champ got the "I Love Jake Paul" tattoo done.

Here's to hoping the fighting actually stays in the ring in their next bout.

Dog The Bounty Hunter's Daughter Arrested For Domestic Violence ... No Charges For Now

Published | Updated

Dog the Bounty Hunter's stepdaughter got into an argument with her lover and punched him in the face ... at least that's what he told cops, who busted her for domestic violence.

According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, cops in Honolulu got a call just before midnight on July 31 about an argument at a residence, and when they got there the alleged victim told officers Cecily Barmore punched and bit him.

Cecily's man, whom we're told she's been with for 5 years, told police the couple was drinking before she became verbally and physically abusive. He says she punched him on both sides of his face and bit his upper back, leaving a mark with swelling and bruising.

The alleged victim also told cops it wasn't the first time Dog's daughter physically abused him ... claiming it's happened several times before and he finally got sick of her alleged behavior and called police for the first time.

Cecily was placed under arrest for misdemeanor abuse of a household member. EMS responded but did NOT end up taking him to the hospital.

The Honolulu Prosecuting Attorney's Office tells us they've declined to file charges, but prosecutors have up to 2 years to change their mind if new evidence surfaces.

Cecily confirms there was an incident, but tells us it was an "altercation where a man struck me and said vile things about the memory of my dead mother."

She says, "I used proportional response, disabled the aggressor, and stood up for the memory of my mom. She would have handled it quite the same way, I can assure you.'

Cecily adds ... "If you put your hands on Cecily Chapman you will get your ass kicked," and says cops decided not to press charges, so she considers the matter resolved.

As we've told you ... Dog is beefing with Cecily and another one of his daughters, Bonnie, over a wedding snub.

Mike Tyson Doubles Down On Jake Paul Pick ... I Think He Beats Woodley!!!

Published | Updated

Still don't know who's gonna win the big Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley fight?? Here's a last-minute prediction from one of the greatest EVER -- Mike Tyson -- who tells TMZ Sports he's going with the Problem Child on Sunday night!!

Tyson -- who's tight with Jake -- has openly been supportive of the YouTuber's skills in the ring leading up to the fight ... and hasn't shied away from telling folks Jake's gonna beat the ex-UFC champ.

But, with the fight rapidly approaching, we had to ask if Tyson's pick has changed at all ... and yeah, nope!!

Tyson says it's all because Paul hasn't lost yet ... and it's obvious Iron Mike doesn't see that changing against Woodley.

Tyson admits "it's gonna be a tough fight," but thinks it's Paul's fists that'll prove too much for The Chosen One.

There's been so much drama between the two fighters as Aug. 29 approaches ... with Tyron's mom even getting in the middle of a verbal altercation with Jake's crew on Thursday.

Regardless of the extra motivation for Woodley, Tyson's clearly rolling with his guy, Paul.

Oscar De La Hoya GF Says No Banging Before Fight Boxing Vitor Belfort In 2 Wks

BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER

Oscar De La Hoya's GF, Holly Sonders, says she ain't gettin' any ... at least not until her man's scrap with MMA legend Vitor Belfort on September 11.

TMZ Sports ran into Sonders -- who's been dating 48-year-old Oscar for a few months -- in Beverly Hills on Friday ... and we hit her with the most critical question?

Sex or nah before the fight?

"We are very disciplined, I will say that," Sonders tells us ... "More than anybody probably ever thought we could be."

And, boot knockin' ain't the only vice the couples cut out ... Holly says they're temporarily sworn off booze, too!

"I decided weeks and weeks ago I wouldn't be drinking, I wouldn't be partying, I'm right there with him."

Of course, myth or not, it's long been said that sex before a fight lowers testosterone ... and therefore negatively affects performance in the ring.

And, Oscar wants to be in peak condition ... 'cause he hasn't fought in over a decade.

In fact, ODLH's last time in the ring as a boxer was a loss against Manny Pacquiao in 2008.

But, Sonders tells us De La Hoya literally looks better than ever.

"Oscar looks as good or better as he did in his prime prime."

Only 15 days until the fight with 44-year-old Belfort.

Hang in there, guys ... and remember, in the words of Rocky's legendary trainer, Mickey, "Women weaken legs!"

San Diego Padres Fans Violently Brawl At Game ... Haymakers And Kicks!!!

Published | Updated
UPDATE

12:43 PM PT -- The San Diego Police Dept. tells TMZ Sports ... no arrests were made, adding that the fighters "left prior to security or police arrival."

Several San Diego Padres fans got into a wild brawl at Wednesday's game -- throwing haymakers and kicks -- and all of the violence was caught on video.

The scrap happened at some point during the Padres' tilt with the Dodgers at Petco Park ... and while it's unclear what started it all -- you can see in the footage, the combatants landed several punches and kicks in the melee.

At one point, one of the fighters was shoved down a row of seats ... and then was punched and kicked in the face repeatedly.

The fighting then briefly stopped ... but it continued as more haymakers were thrown.

A man was eventually pushed down a row of stairs again -- before, finally, all of the action was broken up.

It's not clear if police are investigating ... we've reached out to cops, but so far, no word back yet.

As for the game, the Padres -- like the fighting fans in the stands -- took the L ... falling in extra innings to L.A., 5-3.

11:40 AM PT -- Allyssa and her husband, Robbie, joined "TMZ Live" on Thursday and said Nick's improved a bit but he's still on a liquid diet and drinking out of a straw now instead of a syringe. Allyssa also said Nick's jaw will be wired shut until mid-September.

UPDATE

As for what led to the attack ... Robbie says Nick never saw it coming. Robbie said Nick told him they were playing 5-on-5 and he got challenged to one-on-one. Robbie said Nick told him he drove up the middle and it's the last thing he remembers before being assaulted.

UPDATE

Allyssa and Robbie are, justifiably so, outraged that other students involved in the attack -- as well as those who stood by and laughed while filming it -- have faced no consequences.

UPDATE

What's more ... Allyssa says the school districts claim their hands are tied because the incident happened off campus. She's calling BS ... and implores the public to sign her Change.org petition so other parents don't find themselves in a similar situation.

Actress Allyssa Brooke's teenage son was viciously attacked on a basketball court ... and it was all filmed by other kids who just stood by and laughed.

You see Allyssa's son, Nick, driving the lane before he's shoved to the ground. Nick quickly gets up to confront the guy who committed the flagrant foul but he's pushed ... and then, someone comes out of nowhere and punches him in the face.

Nick suffered a broken jaw in 3 places, a severe concussion and whiplash. When he got to the hospital, a baseball-sized lump had formed on the back of his head ... prompting concerns from doctors that there might be internal bleeding in his brain.

Allyssa -- whose acting credits include "Stranger Things," "Ozark" and "Queen of the South" -- told 11Alive she spent Nick's 17th birthday feeding him liquids through a syringe because his jaw's been wired shut for 6 weeks.

Allyssa's angry at those who found joy in the beatdown. She said, "I don't expect everybody to be a hero and run in to save the day if that's not your style. But, to laugh and applaud, and cheer, that's not humanity."

Nick's got a long road of recovery ahead. Once his jaw's unwired, Allyssa says he'll need additional weeks of bands to strengthen and retrain his bite. He also faces 6 months to a year of wearing braces to realign his teeth ... several of which she says were twisted out of place.

As for the attackers ... the kid who broke Nick's jaw has been charged with assault as a juvenile. But, Allyssa says the kids who filmed the incident should also be brought to justice. She has since started a Change.org petition toward that end.

There's also a GoFundMe to help offset Nick's hospital bills, which have already exceeded $50,000.

'Ink Master' Star Tatu Baby I'm Tattooing Paul Vs. Woodley Loser ... On Fight Night!!!

Published | Updated

The loser of the Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley tilt will get "I love Jake/Tyron" ink on their bodies directly after their scrap ... so says famous tattoo artist Tatu Baby, who tells TMZ Sports she's flying in to do the piece on fight night!

The former "Ink Master" star -- who has 1.7 MILLION followers on Instagram -- said Paul reached out to her recently with the idea ... after he made the infamous bet with Woodley at a pre-fight media event back in July.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Tatu Baby -- real name Katherine Flores -- says Jake asked her to create some mockups for the potential ink ... and she delivered with three incredible designs.

Tatu Baby tells us both Woodley and Paul have agreed to get one of her pieces on them if they lose ... and she says they also agreed to go under the needle right after the final bell.

"As soon as the fight is done, I'm tattooing the loser," Tatu Baby says.

"After a painful fight and a painful loss, [they'll get] a painful tattoo that's going to be on you for the rest of your life."

The designs -- while certainly embarrassing for the loser -- are actually awesome ... and Tatu Baby says the art should take anywhere from 30-60 minutes to complete.

As for the location of the ink and whether they'll be in color or black and white and ... Tatu Baby tells us that'll all be up to the loser.

The fight finally goes down on Sunday in Cleveland, Ohio ...  hope you've got your popcorn ready!

Nigel Lythgoe Celeb Boxing Matches??? They're Reviving The Sport!!!

THE FUTURE OF FIGHTING

Celebs and retired fight stars beating the hell out of each other in boxing matches is GOOD for the sport ... so says Nigel Lythgoe, who claims the spectacles are reviving interest in the sweet science in a big way.

The former "American Idol" producer broke it all down for Harvey and Charlie on "TMZ Live" on Tuesday ... explaining the Jake Pauls and the Bryce Halls of the world are breathing life into a sport that he says was struggling.

"[Boxing] needed something," Lythgoe said. "Because mixed martial arts really took over a little bit and we'd lost a lot of heroes like Muhammad Ali."

"We're losing heroes," he added. "So, we've got to find some other way of attracting young people to boxing again."

And, Lythgoe says he's got the perfect formula for that -- by continuing to help grow the celeb boxing game.

Lythgoe is currently producing Triller Fight Club's "Legends II" event ... which will feature an Oscar De La Hoya vs. Vitor Belfort fight, along with a ton of big-time musical performances in the leadup to the Sept. 11 tilt.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Lythgoe is also in the process of creating a new competition show called "So You Think You Can Fight," which is hoping to ultimately inject even more celebs into the fight game.

"I think it is the way of the future," Lythgoe said of the new-age fight nights. "We've just been to Madison Square Garden with Triller Verzus and that is the Triller Fight Club and Verzuz."

"And, we did a boxing match there followed by a rap battle. And, it sold out the fastest that Madison Square Garden has ever sold. And, it was absolutely packed. So, it just shows you that it's bringing a new form of entertainment together."

Jake Paul Logan Would KO Myles Garrett ... 'Stick To Football'

Published

Jake Paul is sending a warning to Myles Garrett ... saying the Cleveland Browns star better not get in the ring with his older bro, Logan -- 'cause he'll get KNOCKED OUT!!!

The 24-year-old YouTube superstar is responding to Garrett's recent comments to Complex ... in which he claimed he would "beat the brakes off of Logan Paul" if he were to ever take a celebrity fight.

Jake -- who is a Browns fan -- gave his two cents on the matchup ... saying there's no doubt in his mind Logan would whoop the defensive end's ass.

"Stick to football, my friend," Paul told the "3 Things to Know" podcast.

"I like Myles. I have nothing against him, he’s an amazing player. But you saw what happened when Nate Robinson from the NBA tried to step into the ring. People don’t realize it’s a whole different sport."

Of course, 6'4", 272-lb. Garrett is no stranger to fighting -- remember, he was suspended in 2019 for ripping Mason Rudolph's helmet off and swinging it at him.

He's also spent time with ex-UFC champ Stipe Miocic ... who said the guy is insane in the gym.

With that being said, Jake isn't convinced Garrett would stand a chance against 6'2". 180-lb. Logan.

"My brother sparred against all of the Gronkowski brothers, who are 6’5", 6’6", 6’7" and he took them all down in the same sparring session."

"People don’t realize this is a sport where time and experience is really the only thing that gets you better. So long story short, my brother would knock him out, no question. But nothing against Myles."

Garrett may be busy trying to win a Super Bowl, but Logan DID just fight Floyd Mayweather ... so don't count out this bout just yet.
