Mike Singletary says the Bears just got a monster in Khalil Mack ... but they didn't get the league's best defensive player -- 'cause Mike tells TMZ Sports Aaron Donald holds that honor!!

Don't get it twisted ... Singletary says his old squad ain't gonna regret giving up two first-round picks and a dumptruck full of cash for Mack, telling us he's about to wreak havoc on the NFC North.

"I know Aaron Rodgers and every quarterback in that league went, 'Wow, what the heck just happened?!'" Singletary says.

But ... Mike tells us if he had to choose one guy to build a defense around -- it'd be A.D.

"When I saw Aaron Donald, I thought, 'Wow. This guy is amazing. He is just a one man wrecking crew,'" Singletary says.

"So I think it would be hard for me to put [Khalil] ahead of Aaron Donald."

"Gilligan's Island" star Dawn Wells is severely down on her luck -- nearly $200k in the red -- and she's seeking financial aid from Gilligan fans ... TMZ has learned.

Dawn famously played Mary Ann Summers on the iconic TV sitcom, but according to a friend who launched a GoFundMe she's desperately in need of money so she can move into an assisted care facility.

The friend tells TMZ ... Dawn broke her knee this year, and was already recovering from a major surgery where she suffered complications. According to the fundraising page, she's been struggling since losing almost everything during 2008's banking crash.

The GoFundMe page says Dawn, who's now 79, needs to be moved to a smaller assisted living home that caters specifically to people in the film/TV industry, but the facility won't accept her because she's $180k in debt. The friend tells us Dawn has no family and has already lost her home.

12:17 PM PT -- Cosby's attorney, Joe P. Green, tells us, "This claim arises from a disagreement over the amount of legal fees charged. Mr. Cosby’s team offered to submit that dispute to mediation, but Mr. Silver’s firm decided to file suit. We still hope to resolve the claim fairly.”

Bill Cosby may have to pay extra for his sex crime conviction, 'cause one of the law firms that was previously repping him is suing for money it says he still owes.

The Philly-based firm, Schnader Harrison Segal and Lewis, just filed suit against the now-convicted actor for failing to pay more than $50k in legal services it says it provided him. One of SHS&L's partners, Samuel Silver, was one of Cosby's new lawyers as he geared up for his second trial earlier this year. However, Sam later withdrew from the case before proceedings got underway in April.

The details are scant in the legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- but there's no question SHS&L worked on Cosby's case for a while. He'd announced his new legal team -- which included Michael Jackson's former lawyer, Tom Mesereau -- in August of 2017, which also included Silver at the time. Silver bailed on the case in January ... so that's 5 months on the books.

Silver has also repped Cosby in other cases, and the expenses in the lawsuit reflect that work as well.

Jaden Smith loves Colin Kaepernick and the movement he's leading ... but his new ad isn't gonna make Jaden go on a Nike shopping spree any time soon.

We got Jaden at LAX Tuesday and asked him about the "Just Do It" push with Kaep. At first, Jaden was silent on any Nike praise, but he gave props to Kaepernick as a person, and what he's done to bring awareness to police brutality.

Bow Wow flew into a destructive rage while shooting his TV show because his girlfriend called to tell him about a dispute she had with the production crew ... TMZ has learned.

Production sources tell us the rapper's GF was venting about the disagreement she had with a crew member on the set of "Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta." What's more ... we're told Bow Wow was told he was being set up by crew members to start fights with people on set.

We're told the rapper had been pretty chill last Thursday, but went absolutely ballistic after the phone call. As we first reported, BW shattered tons of equipment to the tune of nearly $300k, and attacked anyone who tried to stop him.

Asia Argento says Jimmy Bennett -- who had sex with her when he was 17 years old -- is lucky she didn't file charges that HE sexually assaulted and then extorted her.

Argento's lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, tells TMZ, his client's text messages that TMZ posted tell the real story about what went down at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Marina del Rey, CA. The text in question read, "The horny kid jumped me ... I had sex with him it felt weird." She goes on to say she was "frozen" when he was on top of her.

Heller says, "Asia chose at the time not to prosecute Bennett for sexually attacking her."

As for her statement after the story broke -- "I have never had any sexual relationship with Bennett" -- Heller says she was being honest because it was a one-time only encounter and not a relationship.

Heller goes on to claim Bennett smelled a payday and tried to extort Argento, especially when he found out she was dating Anthony Bourdain. He says Bennett "chose to intrude on that relationship and demand financial payment from Bourdain in consideration for not embarrassing Asia and indirectly Bourdain ..."

Heller says Anthony chose to protect Asia by agreeing to pay $380k even though she did nothing wrong.

And, Heller says, Bourdain paid $250k up to this point, but Argento will not pay the balance.

Heller ends by attacking Bennett, saying, "Asia does not intend to prosecute Bennett for his conduct and recognizes that his unfortunate past, his stalled acting career, and a lawsuit against his own parents for allegedly misappropriating more than a million and a half dollars from his account might explain his desperation to seek money from Asia and Bourdain for this falsely alleged incident that took place more than 5 years ago."

The attack against Bennett is odd ... because Argento has spoken out against shaming alleged victims in sexual assault cases.

Nike's deal with Colin Kaepernick isn't about black or white, it's about GREEN ... so says "Shark Tank" star and FUBU founder Daymond John.

The Internet is going crazy over the shoe giant's decision to make Colin the face of its "Just Do It" 30th anniversary campaign, but Daymond says the outrage and applause on either side basically amounts to tons of free advertising for Nike. Despite any controversy, he anticipates the QB's upcoming merch line will spread like wildfire.

There's already been tons of backlash, with one of the country's largest police organizations calling for a boycott of all Nike products, but Daymond believes young and rebellious consumers will spend more than enough on Nike to outweigh potential losses.

Demi Lovato has had enough with the home where she almost died from a drug overdose ... because we've learned she's selling it.

Demi just put her Hollywood Hills home up for sale for $9.495 million. She bought the house in September 2016 for $8.3 million.

This is the same home where Demi OD'd on Oxycodone that was apparently laced with fentanyl. She was revived with Narcan and spent 10 days in the hospital.

Demi has not returned to the house since her OD. She went right from the hospital into rehab.

The house has been problematic for the singer, almost from the time she bought it. In January 2017, the house was in danger of sliding down the side of a mountain after the ground was compromised by storms. A mudslide cascaded into her driveway, severely compromising the hillside.

TMZ obtained documents from the L.A. Dept. of Building and Safety, and the Dept. determined in July the problem with the hillside had been corrected.

The house is 5,546 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

As we reported, Demi texted her drug dealer at 4 AM the day she OD'd. He came to the house and they crushed the Oxy pills and smoked them. He left after she fell into a deep sleep.

Tyler Perry's upping the reward for any info that leads to solving a mysterious case of 2 missing men in Florida ... in which a former cop is the main person of interest.

The famed actor and filmmaker just made the announcement in Naples, FL ... he's offering $200k for any help in the cases of the missing Collier County men -- Felipe Santos and Terrance Williams.

The story of the 2 men is a strange one -- Santos went missing in October 2003 and Williams in January 2004, but there's a connection between them ... the last person to see them both alive was Steven Calkins, a corporal with the Collier County Sheriff's office at the time.

Perry has been involved in trying to solve the mysterious disappearance for years, and had already offered a $100k reward before doubling it Tuesday. He's also close to Williams' mother, who was at the presser as well ... along with civil rights lawyer Benjamin Crump.

Crump announced on top of the reward money, Williams' family is filing a wrongful death suit against Calkins in hopes of getting testimony out of him.

The former cop was seen pulling over Williams in 2004 near a cemetery, but originally told another cop Williams' car was abandoned. He even denied having any contact with Williams, but later his story changed and he said he dropped him off at a Circle K.

The story of Santos' disappearance is eerily similar to the Williams case. Calkins was dispatched to the scene of a minor car accident involving Santos, allegedly arrested him for driving without a license ... but Santos was never booked at the local jails. Calkins told investigators he dropped him off at a Circle K as well.

Tekashi69's dipping his toe in the fashion biz ... and making a huge splash courtesy of Kanye West.

Tekashi's partnering up with his label Tr3way Entertainment and online retailer Fancy.com to host a pop-up shop Monday night in NYC. Kanye tweeted an invite that looks like an iPhone's home screen shot. But the devil's in the details 'cause the icons tell the story -- what it's about (Tr3way and Fancy apps) and when it's happening (calendar/clock icon) and where (Google maps icon):

The invitation was made by Ye's creative house DONDA. We're told it's the official welcome for the shindig. As for the shop itself ... Tekashi's unique look influenced the merch Tr3way plans to sell.

Tekashi -- who is scheduled to make an appearance -- has his eye on releasing his own clothing line down the road, but for now he's riding with the Tr3way line.

Imagine being told the rare diamond you sold for $3.75 MILLION is now back on the market for around $7 MILLION ... and could be worth more than $10 MIL. How would you react?

Drew Brees could only shake his head ... according to legal docs obtained by TMZ Sports.

It's all part of the QB's war with his old jeweler, Vahid Moradi -- who Brees is suing, claiming he's been ripped off for millions over the years.

One of the pieces at the center of the war is a 4.09 carat blue diamond Drew bought in 2015 for $8.1 million.

As we previously reported, Brees suspected he was swindled by his jeweler so he brought it to another appraiser who valued it at a mere $2 million.

Now, according to new legal docs, we've learned Drew sold the ring in the spring of 2018 for $3.75 million ... a number he seemed satisfied with based on the low appraisal.

But Moradi's attorney, Eric George, suspected something fishy went down -- since the man who appraised the diamond got a commission for brokering the deal with the new buyer.

During the deposition, George hit Brees with a bombshell -- saying, "Would it surprise you to know that it's being offered right now at a wholesaler's for $6.8 million?"

Drew's response according to the transcript -- "[Brees shakes head]."

Yeah ...

George then told Brees if the diamond were to be sold at a retail store like Tiffany, the price tag would be in excess of $10 million!!!

We reached out to Drew's attorney, Andrew Kim, for comment who told us the new price tag may not reflect the true value of the diamond -- and doesn't take away from the fact Drew feels scammed by Moradi.

"[The wholesaler] is offering it at what he's offering it. The real story is what he's able to sell the piece for. We'll be fairly surprised if he gets anything close to what he's asking for."

Charles Manson's pen pal has a handwriting expert in his corner ... as he fights to legitimize the last will he says Manson left behind.

We're told Michael Channels will soon submit docs in court with an opinion from a handwriting expert who claims to have compared the will with more than 2 dozen letters, envelopes, postcards and appeal forms with Manson's signatures ... and the expert concluded Manson really did sign the will.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, the expert examined height proportions, spacing, fluidity and unique embellishment strokes. Her professional opinion is Manson wrote and signed the second page of the questioned will.

In the docs, the expert says she's worked on over 1,200 document examination cases. According to the docs, her conclusion identifying Manson as the author is considered the highest level of confidence an expert can offer.

Bella Thorne is having a rough week at home, 'cause burglars just won't leave her alone.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Bella's house was hit by thieves only days after an earlier attempted break-in, and police are now investigating.

Sources say burglars made off with around $150k in valuables ... and they used her designer luggage to transport the stolen goods out of the house!!!

We're told the intruders smashed the front window and entered the home shortly after Bella left. They were caught on surveillance, but covered their faces with bandanas. The footage was passed on to police.

Sources say Bella's designer jewelry, vintage clothing and purses are all missing ... as are the Chanel and Louis Vuitton luggage used to haul off the loot.

It's the second time this month Bella's San Fernando Valley home has been targeted by burglars.

As we reported ... Bella had a huge scare last month when someone broke a window and tried to enter the pad. She was home at the time, and the would-be thieves ran away ... but someone eventually hit the jackpot.

And Bella's not the only one this week to be hit twice by burglars. Christina Milian's home was burglarized twice while she was out of the country.

G-Eazy just plunked down a bunch of cash to ensure his mouth will always look clean.

The rapper -- who recently got back with his ex, Halsey -- dropped $30,000 on a new grill adorned with 500 diamonds. We're told the 14k rose gold piece was assembled by celeb jeweler Raksha, who flew into NYC this past week to personally deliver the bling.

As for G-Eazy and Halsey ... the two have been spotted together a ton recently after splitting in July. The pair hit up an after-party for the MTV VMAs and were seen leaving together holding hands. Most recently, Halsey was at a G-Eazy concert in Ohio rocking out to one of his songs.

Ex-'Top Gear' host Richard Hammond and a bunch of his houseguests were gassed and robbed in the South of France ... according to the guy's wife, who was also there.

Sunday Express columnist Mindy Hammond told the outlet Sunday that she, Richard and a large group of friends staying with them had been burglarized recently while staying at a villa in Saint Tropez -- after she believes they were all knocked out with anesthetic gas.

She says the terrifying experience went down over a weekend, in which 15 guests -- herself, Richard and their teenage daughter included -- woke up one morning to find that everyone's wallet and purses had been ransacked of cash, not to mention their kid's watch.

Mindy goes on to explain that everyone's doors were open as were dresser drawers, as if someone had rifled through them in search of more loot. She says they discovered a neighboring property had also been robbed in the night ... which got cops involved.

Luckily, this story has a happy ending. Mindy says two of the alleged robbers were caught on CCTV on the grounds and were arrested within 48 hours of the heist. Apparently, gas-based burglaries have been happening on-and-off in the area for a few years now.

Masked gunman stormed into the home where the hip hop duo Rae Sremmurd were staying, assaulted a security guard, and made off with a safe ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell us ... 4 armed robbers knocked on the door of the San Fernando Valley home at 4:30 AM Saturday. We're told a security guard answered, got pistol-whipped ... and the crooks entered.

Our sources say the men, wearing ski masks, demanded to be taken to the safe in the house ... stole the entire thing and fled. It's unclear at this time what's inside. Slim Jxmmi was home at the time of the break in, but Swae Lee was not.

We're told Swae and Jxmmi are staying at the pad, which doubles as a recording studio  Cops are investigating.

The home invasion comes after a busy couple weeks for robbers and thieves in the same area. Wiz Khalifa, Bella Thorne, Christina Milian, Yasiel Puig and John Mayer have all been victims of burglaries or attempted burglaries.

It's been a rough week for Rae Sremmurd ... especially Swae Lee. As we reported, he was hit in the face while on stage at a concert last Sunday when a fan threw her cell phone at him. Swae's mouth was bleeding, and he indicated his tooth got busted. He was unhappy to say the least.
