Director Peter Farrelly Sorry I Flashed My Penis at Cameron Diaz ... 'It Makes Me Cringe Now'

Published | Updated

Acclaimed director Peter Farrelly is apologizing to Cameron Diaz and others for repeatedly flashing his penis on movie sets back in the day, which he now calls a poor attempt at humor.

Peter's public apology comes after Cameron's interviews from 20 years ago resurfaced. The actress, who starred in his '98 hit, "There's Something About Mary," said Peter flashed his genitals on set and during her audition.

Peter told The Hollywood Reporter it's all true, saying, "I was an idiot. I did this decades ago and I thought I was being funny and the truth is I'm embarrassed and it makes me cringe now. I'm deeply sorry."

Worth noting, when Cameron talked about the 'Mary' audition incident, she said she wasn't appalled. As she put it back then, "When a director shows you his penis the first time you meet him, you've got to recognize the creative genius."

Peter's newest film, "Green Book," is considered an Oscars front-runner after winning the Golden Globe for Best Comedy or Musical.

Lifetime Sued You Called Us Ugly for Cheap Laughs!!!

Published | Updated

Lifetime pulled a major Scrooge move in one of its heartwarming holiday flicks by taking a real-life family that had nothing to do with the movie and calling 'em ugly ... according to the fam, anyway.

Setiam and Katherine Allah are suing the cable channel over a scene in "Christmas Harmony" ... which they did not find the least bit harmonious or Christmas-y. In a lawsuit, the Allahs say one of their family photos somehow ended up as a prop on the movie's set without their permission.

If you saw the movie ('cause who didn't?), the lead character, Harmony, pins a random family pic to the wall ... only to have her love interest tell her to take it down immediately. Harmony protests, but her guy fires back ... "They're ugly!"

The Allahs were embarrassed when friends and family called to say they easily recognized them while watching the film. According to the suit, the Allahs only sent out about 50 of those family portraits, but not to anyone who works for Lifetime.

The movie aired back in November, so for the Allahs, the damage is done. They're suing Lifetime for all of the movie's profits. Bah humbug!

We've reached out to Lifetime, so far no word back.

Ashley Judd Judge Throws Out Sexual Harassment Claim ... Against Harvey Weinstein

Published | Updated

Harvey Weinstein just won a big victory ... a court just dismissed Ashley Judd's sexual harassment claims against him.

Ashley claimed Weinstein shut her out of "Lord of the Rings" after she turned down his sexual demands. She says he blacklisted her from movie roles, including Peter Jackson's enormous franchise as retaliation. She sued under the legal theory ... "sexual harassment in professional relationship."

A federal judge just ruled Judd and Weinstein did not have a relationship that fell within the law. Specifically, the judge said a producer/actress relationship was not covered under the law.

But, there's more. The law was changed in 2018 to cover such relationships, but the judge said it could not be applied retroactively.

Judd can still litigate her defamation claim.

Michael Jackson Estate Slams Sexual Abuse Documentary ... Premiering At Sundance

Published | Updated

Michael Jackson's estate is slamming a new documentary making allegations of sexual abuse by the late singer ... by calling out the doc's producers for what it says is a clear attempt to exploit Michael when it premieres at Sundance.

MJ's estate tells TMZ ... “This is yet another lurid production in an outrageous and pathetic attempt to exploit and cash in on Michael Jackson."

The doc, titled "Leaving Neverland," is set to premiere at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, and it reportedly accuses Michael of sexually abusing two young boys.

The King of Pop's estate also says the "so-called documentary is just another rehash of dated and discredited allegations. It’s baffling why any credible filmmaker would involve himself with this project.”

It's unclear which of MJ's accusers are the focus of the doc ... but his estate apparently believes it's Wade Robson and James Safechuck, because the estate says "both testified under oath that Michael never did anything inappropriate toward them."

Cuba Gooding Jr. Bags Up 51 w/ 'No Diggity' Karaoke

Published | Updated

Cuba Gooding Jr. -- who's got class, style and street knowledge by the pound -- rang in 51 with an awesome night of karaoke, and we gotta say ... he killed it.

The actor celebrated his birthday by singing karaoke last weekend at Il Piccolo Verde in Brentwood. His song of choice was Blackstreet's "No Diggity." True classic, for sure.

He was standing side by side with his longtime producer pal, Will Luke, who provided backing vocals. But, it was Cuba who was shining ... belting out the chorus. We're told this all went down around 1 AM Saturday ... so, fair to say he was partying hard for his big night.

Funny enough ... he flew to NYC shortly after, where he kicked off a month-long Broadway run as the lead in "Chicago" this past Monday.

Dude's a machine ... no diggity, no doubt.

Emily Blunt & John Krasinski Drop $11 Mil for Full-Floor Spread

Published | Updated

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski have an entire floor in an NYC luxury apartment building all to themselves -- but it didn't come cheap ... and their work ain't over yet.

The couple spent around $11 million this past summer to close on two units in Brooklyn Heights' swanky Standish building -- where Matt Damon once spent upwards of $16 mil for a penthouse. Em and John don't quite touch his number, but it's close.

The two apartments -- which are adjacent to each other -- take up the entire eighth floor. While it's not set in stone just yet ... chances are, John and Emily are gonna be knocking down some walls to have one giant home.

The square footage of the units isn't listed, but if it's anything like the entire 10th floor unit -- which is reportedly 5,000 square feet -- the couple will have plenty of space for themselves and their two kids. It also comes with all the bells and whistles you'd expect ... a doorman, an elevator, a concierge, a gym and lots more.

John and Emily appear to be fleeing the West Coast and relocating in New York -- they've already unloaded two homes in L.A. over the past couple of years.

Welcome to the City, you two.

DISTURBING SIMILARITIES

Kevin Spacey was allegedly molested by his father -- and it's something he first endured, but later enjoyed before becoming a monster himself ... at least that's what his brother is claiming.

Randy Fowler went on 'The Drew and Mike' podcast out of Detroit hours after Spacey appeared in a Massachusetts courthouse for arraignment in his sexual assault case.

Randy, Kevin's estranged older brother, says they were both molested by their dad. Randy says he was able to escape it in early adulthood but, apparently, Kevin didn't. Randy says Kevin stuck around the family home for years to come and claims he morphed into their father, who Randy calls the "creature."

Kevin pled not guilty to felony indecent assault and battery in the Mass. case.

As for his brother's allegations -- we've reached out to Spacey's attorney for comment, but no word back yet.

David Arquette Pooh-Poohs Wrestling Tampon Stunt ... 'I Didn't Like It'

Published | Updated

David Arquette is open-minded when it comes to pushing the envelope in pro wrestling -- but says the female wrestler who pulled a fake bloody tampon from her pants last month during a match went too far.

The video of the stunt has gone viral ... wrestler Priscilla Kelly was taking on another wrestler named Tuna at the Suburban Fight event in L.A. on Dec. 30 when she reached down below and whipped out the feminine hygiene product and shoved it in Tuna's mouth.

The crowd started chanting, "You sick f**k."

"I didn't like it," Arquette told us in L.A. ... "That's not my style."

Arquette appreciated the fact that Kelly's stunt has raised her profile in the wrestling community -- but says there are other ways to make a splash without having to pull anything out of your genitals.

As for Priscilla, she said she had no intentions of going viral ... noting, "I just thought it was funny."

But, she's suggested that the blowback from fans is based in sexism.

"Penis is funny and awesome," she tweeted ... "A vagina is disgusting and trashy. #Equality?"

Kevin Spacey Pulled Over for Speeding ... On Way Home from Court

Published | Updated

Kevin Spacey couldn't make it home from his alleged sexual assault hearing Monday without catching more heat from the law -- he got pulled over in Washington, D.C.

Spacey was behind the wheel after leaving Reagan National Airport when cops lit him up for speeding. In the video, you see officers talking to him -- the whole license and registration routine. BTW, the guy riding shotgun with him is his attorney.

The photog asks officers if they gave Spacey a ticket, but the police were mum. Instead, they chastise the guy for pulling over on the road to record the moment on camera.

Law enforcement sources tell us Spacey got off without a ticket. The officer let him go with a verbal warning.

Considering his bigger legal woes at the moment, we're guessing he was grateful to be let off easy. We're guessing Spacey had just landed at the airport after flying in from Massachusetts, where he appeared in court this morning.

'Spider-Man' Director Peter Ramsey Weighs in on New Golden Globe ... Heavier Than Ya Think!!!

Published | Updated

One of the directors behind the Golden Globe-winning animated "Spider-Man" movie is more than happy to let us in on the new-look trophy -- in fact, he might be a little too generous!

We got Peter Ramsey Sunday night in WeHo, at the Globes after-party at Delilah, where he let our photog handle his new hardware first-hand. Turns out, these little golden buggers -- which got a big makeover this year -- are pretty damn heavy.

FWIW ... the Golden Globe statuettes are now tipping the scales at 7.8 pounds ... up more than 2 pounds from previous years. It's made of brass, zinc and bronze (yeah, no actual gold) and is also 3/4 of an inch taller -- so the supersize version's got some oomph.

You gotta see how Peter shared his Globe, handing it to just about anyone who wanted it. Just a tip, dude ... sometimes Hollywood trophies don't leave with their rightful owner. It happens.

Our camera guy also asked him where his GG is going. Trophy case? Garage? Bedroom? His answer's pretty simple.

Side note: "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" was awesome. Congrats, Pete!

Dick Cheney Daughter Liz Slams Christian Bale ... Satan Inspired His DV Arrest

Published | Updated

Everyone at the Golden Globes might've gotten a laugh from Christian Bale comparing Dick Cheney to Satan -- but the ex-Veep's daughter just took a big shot of her own ... invoking his 2008 domestic violence arrest.

Liz Cheney was reacting to Bale's acceptance speech Sunday night -- during which he thanked Satan for his inspiration to play Dick, saying, "Satan probably inspired him to do this, too."

Liz fired back with a UK article about Christian being arrested for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister.

For the record ... British prosecutors declined to file charges against him, citing insufficient evidence. Bale denied the allegations.

In case you missed it, Bale's acceptance speech for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Film for his portrayal of Cheney in "Vice" was ... interesting, to say the least. He literally thanked the devil for giving him inspiration ... and went on to refer to his infamous 'Terminator' outburst.

As far as his subject goes ... there's clearly no love lost between Bale and the Cheneys. Dick himself has yet to comment on Bale's remarks, BTW.

Jada Pinkett Smith Upset with R. Kelly Record Sales Spike ... Do Black Women Matter?

Published | Updated

Jada Pinkett Smith is really upset there's a spike in R. Kelly's record sales in the wake of the Lifetime docuseries about various alleged sexual misdeeds, and is wondering out loud if black women matter.

The actress posted this video Sunday, wondering how R. Kelly's streaming numbers have spiked after a parade of people made shocking claims on "Surviving R. Kelly."

Jada's asking for some feedback ... if she's missing something -- specifically, do black girls not matter enough?

Tons of R. Kelly fans have been defiantly supportive of him, tweeting out messages all weekend like, "Still listening." Based on the reported numbers, they clearly are.

Unclear if Jada is turning on R. Kelly or if she's simply voicing longstanding disdain -- but one thing we do know ... she believes his accusers.

Billy Porter Slays Singing 'A Star is Born' Song ... At Star-Studded Event

Published | Updated

A gathering of A-list celebs and top-notch athletes got an early Golden Globes appetizer, and there's nothing shallow about it ... except the name of the song.

"Pose" star Billy Porter performed the Golden-Globe nominated hit, "Shallow," at the Gold Meets Golden event Saturday at The House on Sunset in Weho. Mark Ronson -- who co-wrote the track with Lady Gaga and others for "A Star is Born" -- introduced him.

The midday gala brings celebrity actors and entertainers together with medal-winning Olympians to celebrate awards season and raise awareness and support for sports-related causes.

This year's attendees included Nicole Kidman -- seen here snapping a pic with Michelle Kwan and Paralympic medalists Amy Purdy and Tatyana McFadden -- Jessica Chastain, Edgar Ramirez, Amy Adams, Matt Bomer, Octavia Spencer, Jenna Dewan, Adam Rippon, Joe Alwyn and many more.

BTW ... Porter's also nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series for "Pose." The show's Sunday night.

Good luck!
