Will Smith & Martin Lawrence We Ride Together ... to 'Bad Boys' Premiere!!!

Will Smith almost always clowned Martin Lawrence for his driving skills, or lack thereof, in every 'Bad Boys' film ... so it's fitting Big Willie's behind the wheel for their sequel's big premiere.

Will and Martin arrived in style, courtesy of a midnight blue Porsche, for their "Bad Boys For Life" premiere Tuesday night in Hollywood. The famous movie cop duo hit up the TCL Chinese Theatre where a throng of fans screamed their lungs out.

Will and Martin both hit the stage -- along with reggaeton superstar Nicky Jam, who has a role in the film -- and hyped the crowd. The premiere was quite the family affair.

Will was joined by his sons, Trey and Jaden. Martin was joined by his entire family. Stars were also out in full force ... from Chance the Rapper, T-Pain, G-Eazy and Armie Hammer to NFL legend Emmitt Smith, mega-producer Jerry Bruckheimer and T.I. and Tiny.

The night, however, may have belonged to Vanessa Hudgens ... who dazzled in a white ensemble full of flair. She plays Kelly ... part of a new ammo team brought in to work with detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.

No doubt she was a smoke show at the premiere ... but ya gotta see her with a badge, gun and uniform. Bad girls, anyone?!

'Anchorman' Star David Koechner Files For Divorce

UPDATE

2:19 PM PT -- David's listing the date of separation as Feb. 1, 2019, according to his divorce filing, and he's also asking for joint legal and physical custody of their 3 minor kids -- 13-year-old twins William and Audrey, and 8-year-old Eve.

David Koechner, famous for playing Champ Kind on "Anchorman," is calling it quits on his marriage ... he just filed for divorce. Whammy!!!

According to court records, David filed docs Tuesday in L.A. Superior Court to divorce Leigh Koechner after more than 20 years of marriage.

The exes have five kids together, including minor children ... which could make the divorce a lot more complicated.

David and Leigh initially met on an airplane, and they tied the knot way back in June 1998. It's unclear what led to the split.

Oh and get this ... Leigh is a motivational speaker and she's currently teaching a 6-week webinar on divorce.

LET ME HELP YOU
Leigh Koechner

David's ex claims she can help people who are going through a divorce, people who are thinking about getting a divorce, people with close friends getting divorced and people who are suffering after a divorce.

No word if David is signing up for the course.

Vanessa Hudgens Time to Take Out the Trash, Baby ... On Heels of Butler Split

Vanessa Hudgens needed a clean slate in both her love life and her kitchen -- so she took care of both in one fell swoop ... kicking all that trash to the curb.

The actress was spotted Tuesday in front of her L.A. home, where she was dressed in a not-so-incognito outfit ... complete with a sweater, a dress, house slippers, a satchel and some low-sinking shades. Ever fabulous, Vanessa took out the garbage.

Her sighting came just minutes after news broke she and her longtime boyfriend of 9 years, Austin Butler, had broken up. It's unclear who ended it with who, and exactly when ... but it appears they are, in fact, dunzo. They haven't been seen together for a while now.

That's a bummer, of course, because they've been such a great couple to watch all these years. Vanessa and Austin first met while VH was filming 'High School Musical' way back in 2005, and began dating years later in 2011 after she and Zac Efron were over.

Of course, they seemed to be going strong just this past year after Austin landed the coveted role of Elvis Presley for an upcoming biopic -- and Vanessa was super supportive.

On social media, she wrote at the time ... "I AMMMM OVERRRR THE F**KING MOOOOOOONNNNN. I CANT WAIT 😍😍😍😍😍😍 SO PROUD OF MY HONEYYYYY!!!"

Looks like this burning love just flickered out 💔

Jamie Foxx, Michael B. Jordan Have 'Mercy' on London Club Scene

JUST PARTY
BACKGRID

Jamie Foxx and Michael B. Jordan's latest movie provided the perfect reason to travel to the United Kingdom ... and tear it up at a popular nightclub.

The "Just Mercy" costars hit up London's Libertine late Sunday night and mixed in well with the party crowd -- especially Jamie -- while they're in town for the film's press tour.

Foxx sang and grooved to his 2004 hit track with Kanye West -- "Gold Digger" -- before getting on the mic in the DJ booth to fire everyone up even more.

Both Jamie and Michael have received praise for their roles in the movie (no love from The Academy, though) ... but that didn't stop Foxx from being MBJ's number one hype man anyway.

"Just Mercy" comes out in the UK this weekend ... it's in theaters everywhere in the U.S. already.

Critics' Choice Awards Criticize This ... Celebs Dress to Impress

The Critics' Choice Awards just got started, and the walk-in may or may not be worthy of some pro criticism ... some of the outfits were out there, and others were really safe.

Tons of celebs up for an award this year showed up flaunting their best style -- including Billy Porter, Olivia Wilde, Zendaya, Laura Dern, Adam Sandler, Mandy Moore, Kate Beckinsale, Jennifer Lopez, Kelly Clarkson, Seth Meyers, Joaquin Phoenix, Christina Applegate, Joey King, Sandy Powell, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Ariel Winter, John Leguizamo and others.

A majority of the stars wore pretty bland get-ups as far as these fancy events go, with most opting for darker colors ... or just straight-up black. Meanwhile, a small handful of A-listers chose to spice it up, like Billy in this epic butterfly dress, Noah Jupe in the red pants, Seth and Sandy in the powder-blue suits, Zendaya in the pink two-piece or Laura in the orange gown.

And if you thought these famous faces were glowing from outside, check out what was going on in the background behind closed doors.

Spoiler ... it was a lot of feel-good vibes, critics be damned.

That said, they are catering to a crowd that judged the hell out of their movies and TV shows -- and Sunday, they barked up that tree with their bold or not-so-bold fashion statements.

Hmmmm, we see you guys 🤔

DJ Qualls Yep, I'm Gay ... Been Gay All Along!!!

DJ Qualls -- who's been portrayed as America's quirkiest bro on the big screen for quite a while -- says he's gay ... and he's ready to go forward with the world knowing that.

The veteran actor -- who often plays nerdy straight dudes -- posted the news on Twitter late Friday night, saying ... "It is 11:20pm. I just came out on stage at a @jimjefferies show in San Diego." He added, "Yep, I’m gay. Been gay this whole time. Tired of worrying about what people would think of me. Tired of worrying about what it would do to my career."

It's interesting ... Qualls has starred in a ton of bro-ish type of movies through his 20-plus year career, which kinda got its start with 2000's "Road Trip" -- where he played Kyle, the loner college kid who turns out to be crazy party animal ... and popular with the ladies.

Mark Wahlberg Dr. Oz is Wrong!!!! Breakfast CANNOT Be Cancelled!!!

CHEERIO!!!
TMZ.com
UPDATE

3:50 PM PT -- We got another A-lister to weigh in on Dr. Oz's recommendation to ditch breakfast ... one Kris Jenner.

UPDATE
HE'S ON TO SOMETHING...
TMZ.com
UPDATE

We asked the Kardashian momager if she'd skipped the morning meal herself, and she seemed kinda perplexed. When we told her DO had suggested it as a general health tip -- she quickly agreed and said it might not be that bad of an idea.

UPDATE

Unclear why she feels that way, but safe say ... she's definitely Team Oz on this one.

UPDATE

12:00 PM PT -- Dr. Oz has accepted Mark's challenge of coming to train with him in the absence of breakfast and see how he holds up, writing ... "Bring it on, @markwahlberg. Let's settle this in the gym. #TeamNoBreakfast #System20.

UPDATE
UPDATE

Place your bets, folks!!!

Mark Wahlberg begs to differ with Dr. Oz on a subject that has become as controversial as Mexit -- breakfast.

We got Mark Friday in Bev Hills and asked about to TV doc drawing a line in the sand on the first meal of the day, which Oz says is BS. Dr. Oz believes in intermittent fasting -- don't eat after 7 and don't eat breakfast. Oz believes in brunch.

#CANCELBREAKFAST
TMZ.com

Mark couldn't disagree more ... he clearly believes breakfast provides body fuel, especially for people who work out like him. In fact, he believes in 2 breakfasts a day!!!

Fact is ... there have been recent studies that seem to support Oz's #cancelbreakfast campaign, concluding there is very little if any effect that meal has on the body, weight, resting metabolic rate, cholesterol or blood sugar levels.

And, the fittest guy on the block didn't miss an opportunity to hype F45, an Australian fitness company in which he's invested. It's doing gangbusters ... with more than 1000 locations around the world.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

In a showing of conciliation, Mark is forgetting their differences and inviting Oz to train with him. Be careful Dr. Oz ... he's a beast!!!

Hollywood Blvd. Superman Suffocated To Death In Donation Bin ... High On Meth

Christopher Dennis -- a street performer known for portraying Superman on Hollywood Blvd. for more than 25 years -- died from a lack of oxygen after crawling into a clothing donation bin while high on drugs.

The Man of Steel impersonator suffocated to death as a result of blunt force trauma to his head and neck ... this according to the L.A. County Coroner's Office. The Coroner's report also cites methamphetamine toxicity as a significant factor in his death.

Christopher suffered the fatal injuries after being partially entrapped within a metal box used for donating clothes, according to the Coroner's Office, which ruled his death accidental.

As we reported ... Christopher -- who was homeless -- died back in November when his lifeless body was discovered lying headfirst in the donation bin. Investigators believed he was attempting to gather clothes for himself.

Christopher entertained folks in Hollywood for over two decades by dressing up as Superman ... he also starred in the documentary "Confessions of a Superhero," and made multiple appearances on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

He was 52.

Oprah I'm Stepping Down From #MeToo Doc ... But I Still Believe Russell's Accuser

Oprah is pulling the plug on #MeToo documentary centered around Russell Simmons ... she's stepping down as executive producer, and blocking its path to Apple TV+.

O announced her decision to distance herself from the project Friday, this after getting dragged by 50 Cent and The Game, who said she was targeting black men accused of being sexual predators instead of their white counterparts.

Oprah says, “I have decided that I will no longer be executive producer on The Untitled Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering Documentary and it will not air on Apple TV+."

The doc, which features a former music exec who accused Russell of sexual misconduct, is set to premiere next month at the Sundance Film Festival.

Oprah adds, "First and foremost, I want it to be known that I unequivocally believe and support the women. Their stories deserve to be told and heard."

Bobby Rydell 'Memba Him?!?

Philadelphia-born Bobby Rydell (real name Robert Louis Ridarelli) shot to stardom in the early '60s as a rock musician and teen idol with smash songs like "Volare," "Sway," "I'll Never Dance Again" and "Wild One."

After a flood of rockin' songs, Bobby Rydell took to the big screen and was cast as the jealous boyfriend, Hugo Peabody, in the iconic 1963 movie adaptation of "Bye Bye Birdie" alongside Ann-Margret as the smooching Kim McAfee and Dick Van Dyke as the scientific Albert F. Peterson.

Rydell has been recently ramping up for a string of shows across the states later in 2020.

Guess what he looks like now!

Edd Byrnes 'Grease' Star Dead at 87

Edd Byrnes, who became famous acting in movies like "Grease" and iconic TV shows like "77 Sunset Strip" is dead.

Byrnes died unexpectedly Wednesday at his Santa Monica home of natural causes.

His career had a bunch of high points. Edd played Vince Fontaine in "Grease," he was the host of the famous National Bandstand dance-off.

As for "77 Sunset Strip" -- which ran from 1958-1964 -- it was one of the most popular shows on the boob tube. He became the breakout star -- Kookie. For most of you who have never heard of the show, he was as big as Luke Perry's character in '90210' ... and not dissimilar.

Edd even scored a gold record for the hit with Connie Stevens, "Kookie, Kookie (Lend Me Your Comb)," which hit #4 in 1959 and spent 13 weeks on the Billboard chart. The character Kookie was famous for combing his impressive locks with a comb.

Other credits include "Charlie's Angels," "Fantasy Island," "Married With Children," "Murder, She Wrote," "Maverick," and, of course -- where every star eventually landed -- "The Love Boat."

He leaves behind his son, Logan, an evening news anchor in San Diego and his longtime partner, Catherine Gross.

Edd was 87. RIP

Jamie Foxx Shows No Mercy in Dance-Off w/ Fan!!! ... Then Says His Dad Validated New Movie

IT MEANS A LOT TO ME
TMZ.com

Jamie Foxx is a dancing machine who also knows how to quickly turn off the switch ... especially when it comes time to explain why his new film is the most important one he's ever worked on.

We got the actor out Wednesday night leaving Avra in Bev Hills ... where Jamie did battle with a fan on a makeshift dance floor. We'll call it a tie cause both got down pretty well.

When that ended ... Jamie told our guy about "Just Mercy" ... and how his dad's own experience in the legal system and prison over a petty, $25 drug offense provided both inspiration and validation over the project.

Jamie's got nothing but love for crusading lawyer Bryan Stevenson, founder of the Equal Justice Initiative and whose 2014 memoir is the basis of the critically-acclaimed film starring Jamie and Michael B. Jordan.

The film's about a wrongfully convicted man on death row in Monroeville, Alabama ... and that clearly struck a chord in Jamie.

Adam Sandler Bombing On Stage ... Didn't Kill My Dream!!!

GOTTA KEEP GOIN'
@adamglyn

Adam Sandler got downright serious as he told us about bombing on stage in his early days.

Adam was at the National Board Review Gala Wednesday night in NYC and revealed what fueled his drive to be a successful stand-up comedian ... despite crashing and burning on the Sunset Strip.

The Grammy-nominated comedian says when he was a kid trying to make it, there was a 50-50 chance the friends he'd invite to come watch him would leave saying "Adam sucks."

The struggle was real ... he says it happened for 3 solid years. Adam ultimately found his footing ... and it was comedian Dennis Miller who discovered Adam in WeHo at the Comedy Club. Dennis, BTW, is the one who recommended Adam to 'SNL' honcho Lorne Michaels ... and the rest was history.

Adam also talked about Eddie Murphy's comeback to stand-up comedy ... saying he's confident it's only a matter of time until Eddie makes his triumphant return to stand-up.

Eddie's definitely shown signs he's headed in that direction.

Quentin Tarantino I'll Sign Your Stuff, Paps ... But After That, So Long & GTFOH!!!

WORKIN' THE CROWD
TMZ.com

Quentin Tarantino will do the line-of-autographs thing, but don't push your luck ... 'cause he's got no problem telling you to screw off and to never bother him again. All love though.

The acclaimed director -- who's clearly still riding out the high of winning big at the Golden Globes this past weekend with "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" -- was making his way out of a hotel Wednesday in NYC ... and was met with a crush of paps and Hancock hounds.

He played along pretty well, jokingly telling the swarm of photogs to cool it and to stop following him everywhere. After that, he went down the line with a pen in hand and signed a bunch of memorabilia, making sure no one double-dipped with security in tow.

You gotta see how QT goes about talking to the mega-fans here ... telling a lot of them he never wants to see them after this, and also ... to GTFOH with their BS questions.

It's pretty hilarious, and kinda classic Quentin if you ask us. His acceptance speech on Sunday was in the same vein, humorous and a little cocky. All in good fun, of course.

Now, just imagine how he'll act if he cleans up at the Oscars in a month ... oh, boy!

Disso Queen Laura Wasser Dern's Character's a 'Dick' in 'Marriage Story' ... Not Like Me At All!!!

DERN WAS SO AGGRO
TMZ.com

Laura Dern's "Marriage Story" character isn't anything like the real-life divorce attorney she's supposedly based on ... so says the woman herself, who's kinda salty about the portrayal.

We ran into Disso Queen Laura Wasser Tuesday night at Craig's in WeHo and asked how she felt about the movie ... which many have speculated is not-so-loosely based on director Noah Baumbach's 2013 divorce from then-wife Jennifer Jason Leigh, who used Wasser.

Check it out ... Laura says there's not much similarity between herself and Dern's feisty Nora Fanshaw, who reps ScarJo in the movie and comes off as deceptively aggressive. Spoiler alert ... she ends up winning on behalf of her client, but the way she gets there sorta sucks.

LW has a funnier way of putting it -- she's a bit blunter in describing how LD was depicted, and she says it couldn't be further from the truth in how she handles her biz.

Finally, Laura offers up some sage advice to people who are actually going through a real divorce -- and it pretty much ends with her NOT getting hired. Interesting ...

Stanley in 'Magnolia' 'Memba Him?!

East Coast-native Jeremy Blackman gained fame in the late '90s when he took the role of the super-smart, quiz kid Stanley Spector -- who carries the kids team and sings a few lines from the opera "Carmen" -- in Paul Thomas Anderson's third feature film, "Magnolia."

Jeremy Blackman wets himself during a taping of the show "What Do Kids Know?" but wasn't alone in the scenes ... the game show is hosted by Jimmy Gator, played by Philip Baker Hall, the trash-talking adult contestant, Luis, played by Luis Guzman and Stanley's aggressive stage dad, Rick, played by Michael Bowen.

Guess what he looks like all grown up!
