The NFL will NOT suspend Ezekiel Elliott for knocking a security guard to the ground during a May 19 incident caught on video at a music festival in Las Vegas.
The Dallas Cowboys running back met with NFL commish Roger Goodell on Tuesday and issued a statement essentially taking responsibility for acting inappropriately during the incident.
And now, it seems the apology worked.
May 2019
The NFL says the league "conducted a comprehensive investigation that included interviews with multiple witnesses, including security personnel and others with direct involvement, as well as a review of documentary and other information."
"On Tuesday, as part of the review, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell met with Mr. Elliott to reinforce the standards of conduct expected of him and the consequences for failing to meet those standards."
"Mr. Elliott acknowledged that he demonstrated poor judgment and committed to make better choices in the future. He volunteered to take advantage of the resources available to help him continue to grow personally."
"Commissioner Goodell determined there was no violation of the personal conduct policy and no further action is warranted."
As we previously reported, Elliott used his body to knock 19-year-old Kyle Johnson to the ground during a dispute in the parking lot captured on video and published by TMZ Sports.
Zeke was handcuffed by cops at the scene -- but he was not formally arrested or charged with a crime.

Kim Kardashian Awarded $2.7 Mil in Knockoff Dress Lawsuit
-
Exclusive
- 3.5K shares
Kim Kardashian just scored a huge legal victory -- in the millions -- in her war with a company she says uses her face, body and name to sell knockoff dresses.
Kim's been awarded $2.7 million in damages and another $60k in attorneys' fees from Missguided USA. Kim had sued the company back in February.
In the ruling, the judge said, "Missguided has repeatedly used Kardashian's name and likeness without permission on its social media platforms to promote the sale of its clothing."
The court points out Missguided's website has entire pages dedicated to selling and knocking off dresses inspired by Kim. The real offense is they're using photos of Kim to make it seem to consumers she's associated with the brand.
Kim basically won by forfeit. Missguided USA never responded to her lawsuit, so the court awarded Kim a default judgment.
In addition to the money, the court has permanently blocked Missguided from using Kim's trademarks ... which includes face and other assets.
Channing Tatum Someone's Sleeping in My House ... And She's Not Welcome!!!
Channing Tatum had to step up and get the law involved in a squatting situation -- taking out a restraining order against a woman who's made herself very much at home ... in his home.
A judge granted the actor protection from a woman who Channing says broke into his Hollywood home (which was vacant at the time) at some point in June, and stayed there for 10 days, even bringing her personal belongings with her.
According to docs, obtained by TMZ, the woman was eventually discovered by one of CT's assistants ... and was held under citizen's arrest until cops arrived and took her into custody. She claims Channing invited her to stay, but he says that's BS.
Channing does say that the woman has tried contacting him in the recent past, and he was aware of her existence prior to her squatting. He believes she's not in her right mind.
As part of his restraining order request, he also asked the court for protection for his ex, Jenna Dewan, whom he still lists as his spouse -- their divorce isn't finalized yet -- as well as his daughter, Everly, and his 2 assistants. He didn't include his GF, Jessie J, though.
Well, a judge partially granted Channing's request -- giving him the court-ordered force field he wanted, but only for himself, Jenna and Everly. The assistants are on their own -- at least until a court hearing to hash out the facts.
The woman has to stay at least 100 yards away from Channing and co., and can't have any form of contact with them either.

Ezekiel Elliott Meets With Roger Goodell ... 'I Made A Poor Decision'
-
Breaking News
Ezekiel Elliott just finished his meeting with Roger Goodell over his Las Vegas altercation ... and the Cowboys superstar appears to be taking full responsibility for the incident, saying, "I made a poor decision."
"Earlier today, I met with the Commissioner to share with him what occurred in Las Vegas and what I have learned from that incident," Elliott said.
"I've worked hard to make better decisions and to live up to the high standards that are expected of me. I failed to do that here and I made a poor decision."
May 2019
We broke the story, Zeke was detained by police at the EDC music festival on May 19 after knocking down a 19-year-old security guard.
At the time, the security guard did not wish to press charges -- but has recently said he wants a genuine apology from Elliott or else he will consider his legal options.
Elliott seemed to give Johnson that after the Goodell meeting, writing, "I apologized to Kyle Johnson at the time and I meant it."
"I need to work harder to ensure I do not put myself in compromised situations in the future. I am rededicating myself to use all of the resources that the league has made available. But in the end, it is up to me and I am determined not to be in this position again."
Elliott was never charged with a crime in the case ... but it's still unclear if the 23-year-old running back faces league discipline following his meeting with Goodell on Tuesday.

Jussie Smollett Walked Past Osundairos Before 'Attack' ... Yet There Was NO Violence
10:46 AM PT -- Jussie's camp says the new footage is edited together and doesn't have a time stamp. They point out at no time do you see them on camera passing each other.
January 2019
However, here's the longer, unedited footage from the loading dock -- it shows what appears to be the brothers walk by, and after 27 seconds ... Jussie strolls by from the other direction on the same sidewalk.
Jussie Smollett and the Osundairo brothers had multiple close encounters -- all caught on camera -- BEFORE the alleged attack went down, but the outcome of those encounters is puzzling.
The video -- first found by Matt Finn of Fox News -- shows the icy street near Jussie's apartment building sometime in the hour prior to the 2 AM attack on January 29. First, the brothers are seen walking side-by-side down the street. At one point they pass under a street light and you can see one of them wearing a red hat.
A short while later, Jussie is seen walking in the opposite direction, North, on the same block heading in the direction of the Subway restaurant. For some reason, he's walking down the middle of the street, and not on the sidewalk.
There is no one else seen on the street at all.
There's also a video captured in a loading dock that shows the brothers walking past, and then 25 seconds later ... Jussie walks past the same loading dock, but again he's heading in the opposite direction. With no one else on the street ... it's virtually impossible the 3 men didn't see each other.
What's strange is ... if Abel and Ola Osundairo intended to legitimately attack Jussie, they had at least 2 opportunities prior to 2 AM. Why would they wait and wander the streets on a night when the temperature was around hovering at or just above zero??
The Osundairo's attorney told Fox News the brothers had arrived early, and the video shows them milling around killing time before the hoax attack was allegedly planned to happen.
BTW, the red hat one of the brothers was wearing is significant because they were seen on surveillance video one day earlier, buying items for the alleged attack ... and those items included a red colored hat.

Dez Bryant says he's got Kareem Hunt's back -- telling TMZ Sports he's putting all of his support behind the troubled running back ... explaining, "Everybody goes through problems."
We broke the story ... Hunt spoke with police Saturday night after a "small argument" with a friend outside of a Cleveland bar. He wasn't arrested but it ain't the best look considering Hunt's past.
JUNE 2019
When we saw Dez leaving Peppermint in L.A. on Monday evening, he made it clear he's riding with the Cleveland Browns running back because he thinks he's a good dude.
"To be truthfully honest, I'm a huge fan of Kareem hunt, believe it or not," Bryant said ... "Things happen, ain't nobody perfect."
He continued ... "At the end of the day, that guy's gonna have a successful career, just because of who he is. Everybody goes through problems, we get over 'em. We live and we learn."
Of course, Hunt is on thin ice with the Browns -- which signed him to a "zero-tolerance" contract in the wake of a violent altercation with a woman at an Ohio hotel in 2018. Hunt has said he understands the gravity of the situation and said he was getting professional help to stay on the right track.
The NFL has suspended Hunt for the first 8 games of the 2019 NFL season -- but Bryant says he expects the guy to ball out when he returns.
"Shout-out to Kareem Hunt. He's gonna have a hell of a year. As soon as he gets reinstated, he's gonna do his thing. That's just who he is."
As for Dez, the 30-year-old wide out says he's feeling great after an Achilles injury that sidelined him for the 2018 season.
Watch the clip ... Dez is teasing his comeback, but the big question ... which team will he play for in 2019?! Stay tuned!

Chloe Grace Moretz's family got another unwelcome visit from the same exact guy who knocked on her door the day before -- and he did it right after walking out of jail.
According to law enforcement sources, the 18-year-old man who'd driven to Chloe's L.A.-area home Sunday night to hop the gate and knock on her door (only to get arrested shortly afterward) ... got hauled back to jail AGAIN just a few short hours after getting released.
We're told he got out of jail, the first time, at 5:36 PM ... and got rearrested at 8:45 PM Monday.
TMZ broke the story ... cops discovered the guy sitting in his car outside of Chloe's crib after he'd just walked to the front door and asked her family if she was home.
He was booked for misdemeanor trespassing at first -- but after Monday's second arrest, he's now facing felony stalking charges.
We're told the dude pretty much did the same thing he did Sunday -- going to Chloe's place, hopping the gate and knocking on the door, asking for Chloe ... and getting the same treatment from people inside.
We're told this time officers found the man a couple blocks away from Chloe's house and picked him up on-site.
The obsessed fan is being held on a much higher bail this time around -- $150,000, up from $1,000.

Jenelle Evans My Kids Aren't Safe With My Mom ... As Long As My Brother's Around
-
Exclusive
- 5.4K shares
Jenelle Evans believes her kids are at great risk while under the care of her mother, Barbara, and it's all because of Evans' erratic brother, Colin, who has a lengthy history with the cops.
Police records -- obtained by TMZ -- show police have had at least 8 interactions with Colin since February. Colin has called to report stalkers at his home, possible break-ins, trespassers and made claims someone was putting chemicals in his water. He has even listed David as a possible suspect in the reports ... though no evidence seemed to support David's involvement.
6/4/19
There's also a report of a woman who claims Colin approached her and claimed she was taking photos of him and his house ... the woman was only taking photos in the woods. Police advised Colin to leave people alone.
Police have also responded to Barbara's home several times over the last few months ... including a disturbance call where a family member had thrown items in the home and issued threats.
Our sources say David and Jenelle will stop at nothing to get their kids back, and believe the dangers of being with Barbara and possibly around Colin are much greater than anything they'd face at home.
David and Jenelle are due back in court Monday for more custody hearings ... we're told David is expected to give testimony for the first time.

Ezekiel Elliott Meeting with Goodell ... Over Vegas Altercation

May 2019
Ezekiel Elliott will come face to face with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday to discuss the physical altercation in Vegas that captured on video, according to ESPN.
TMZ Sports broke the story ... the 23-year-old Dallas Cowboys running back was detained by police at the EDC music festival on May 19 after knocking down a 19-year-old security guard.
At the time, the security guard did not wish to press charges -- but has recently said he wants a genuine apology from Elliott or else he will consider his legal options.
Elliott is no stranger to Goodell -- he was suspended for 6 games in 2017 for violating the league's personal conduct policy stemming from a domestic violence investigation involving an ex-GF.
Elliott was never charged with a crime in that case -- and maintains his innocence -- but NFL investigators believe his actions constituted a violation of the policy and hit him with the punishment.
As for the Vegas incident, Zeke's attorney told TMZ Sports at the time ... the security guard "misconstrued and overreacted" that night.

Wag! Dog Walker App Sued Over Stolen, Abused Pets ... Using Olivia Munn to Calm Owners
-
Exclusive

Wag! dog walking app promises to put your pets in the hands of the best walkers, but comes up way short and then dangles Olivia Munn as a shiny object to quiet upset owners ... according to a new lawsuit.
Dog lovers probably already know, but for the rest of you ... Wag! is an app that hooks up dog owners with nearby dog walkers -- strictly for walking pets. It ain't Tinder.
The problem in the eyes of one user, Barbara Meli, is the app is hiring untrustworthy people to walk your dogs -- and some pet owners are paying the ultimate price.
In the suit, Meli says she got suspicious after attempting to hire a walker through the app -- there was very little info about the suggested walker -- so she hired an attorney to launch an investigation. She claims they discovered Wag! walkers lost at least 11 dogs from 2015 to 2018, and several more just last month.
She says the recent case of a dog named Benny in NYC is a prime example. After Benny went missing ... Wag! sent Olivia Munn to meet Benny's owners and to minimize the bad press. Later that week, Benny was found at a Wag! walker's home.
According to the suit, Wag! claims to use a "robust vetting process that includes application and verification process, a third party background check, an online test covering dog safety." They claim only 10 percent of applicants make it through the rigorous checks.
Meli's suing Wag! -- not Olivia -- for falsely advertising it's giving you the best walkers possible ... while also stuffing its user agreement with disclaimers that say IF a walker screws up, it's not on Wag! and you can't sue.

Another member of Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson's family is in bad shape -- her Uncle Billy got in a nasty car wreck and suffered major injuries ... and the other driver died.
Sources close to Alana tell TMZ ... Billy -- the younger brother of her father, Sugar Bear -- was involved in a 2-car accident outside Atlanta on Father's Day. We're told he was struck head-on by a driver traveling on the wrong side of the road, and that person was killed.
Billy broke his leg, both arms, several ribs and his jaw in the crash ... and suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns because his vehicle caught fire after the crash.
We've obtained photos of the grisly scene, showing the car ablaze along a guardrail and the aftermath.
Our sources say Billy's been in the hospital since the accident, and he's already undergone 5 surgeries to repair his injuries and has 2 more to go.
Sadly, we're told the tragedy has stoked animosity among Honey Boo Boo's family members ... especially toward Sugar Bear. Our sources say they feel like he's abandoning his brother, because he's been practically invisible at the hospital other than visiting Billy once the first week he was there.
Meanwhile, we're told Alana's other uncle, Poodle, has been by Uncle Billy's side almost 24/7.
As we've reported ... Honey Boo Boo's also dealing with turmoil in her immediate family, stemming from her mother Mama June's troubling relationship with Geno Doak and her apparent substance abuse.
Alana refuses to move back in with her mom until Geno's gone and, after the incident where he was wasted and crashed into June's house ... that's probably a good idea.
Honey Boo Boo has been staying with her older sister, Pumpkin, in the meantime.

NBA YoungBoy and his baby mama got into a heated confrontation with cops when they were busted outside a hotel room ... and at one point, a cop pointed a taser at the rapper.
In police body cam footage obtained by TMZ ... you see NBA YoungBoy and his baby mama, Starr Thigpen, arguing with cops in a hotel hallway. The rapper and his girl are clearly agitated, and the intense exchange boils over when the cops pull out their tasers!
With NBA YoungBoy pinned against a wall by one cop, the other policewoman draws her taser and points it directly at NBA's genitals ... but she never pulls the trigger.
The footage is from the YoungBoy's and Thigpen's initial interaction with police inside an Atlanta hotel back in February, an incident that ended with NBA getting arrested for 3 misdemeanors -- possession of weed (less than an ounce), use of fighting words and physical obstruction with another.
According to cops ... YB and Thigpen were hanging out in a hotel room that was supposed to be empty, when housekeeping entered the room. YB allegedly told Thigpen to get the housekeepers out, and that's when Thigpen allegedly attacked the maids, striking one in the face.
Cops were called ... and when they confronted NBA YoungBoy and Thigpen, chaos ensued.
While YB and Thigpen were getting busted, you hear her asking to see her baby, which was inside the hotel room during the entire episode.
The good news for YoungBoy ... prosecutors decided not to prosecute him on the misdemeanor charges.

NFL's Robert Nkemdiche Arrest Video Shows Cops Finding Suspected Cocaine
-
Exclusive
Cops found a credit card holder they suspected was used to conceal cocaine during Robert Nkemdiche's arrest earlier this month ... and they asked the NFL stud straight-up, "What's the white stuff in there?"
It's all in police video obtained by TMZ Sports ... which shows a cop pulling over Nkemdiche on June 6 in Arizona for speeding -- and then finding the Cardinals DL had a warrant out for his arrest stemming from a previous traffic violation.
When the cop gets Robert out of the car to cuff him ... he realizes the 6-foot-4, 314-pounder's wrists are too big for handcuffs ... so he and another officer removed the jewelry from Nkemdiche's left wrist.
When one of the cops goes to put the bracelets in the car's center console, he notices a credit card holder flipped open -- and says to another cop, "Tell me if that looks like a little cocaine hitter."
The cop dives into the car and takes the credit card holder to Robert himself to ask him straight-up if he knows what the white substance is on the mirror.
"Nothing," Nkemdiche says ... "I just leave my wallet in there and stuff like that. It's just old so it gets used a lot."
"It's not anything," Robert adds ... "I leave it in the restroom, so I just always have my card in there and stuff like that."
Doesn't seem the cop believes him ... because in a later conversation with officers, the cop says, "It's probably cocaine in there."
Good news for Robert ... the cops decided not to pursue testing of the credit card holder -- and instead, they elected to have it impounded so they could destroy it later.
As for the rest of the stop, Nkemdiche was booked for having an outstanding warrant -- and he was also hit with citations for speeding and driving while suspended.
The Cardinals issued a statement following the arrest, saying, "We are aware of the June 6th incident involving Robert Nkemdiche."
"We have alerted the NFL office in accordance with the league's personal conduct policy and will comment further when appropriate."
But, the incidents with Nkemdiche didn't stop there ... turns out, the 2016 first-round draft pick was pulled over YET AGAIN just days later on June 12.
Cops say this stop was for driving on a suspended license ... but Nkemdiche was issued a citation without incident and was advised to get his driving situation figured out with the DMV.
Nkemdiche has played in 27 games since being selected with the No. 29 overall pick in 2016 ... and has logged 4.5 sacks in his NFL career.

Ben Affleck My Recovery Guru Saved My Life
-
Exclusive
3:44 PM PT -- Ben tells us, "I recently testified in a trademark suit regarding Refuge Recovery House. As part of my testimony, I was asked to speak to my relationship with Noah Levine as it pertained to my own stay as a patient and to the suit at hand. I will forever remain grateful for the treatment I received at Refuge Recovery House as it had such a positive impact on me and my sobriety."
Ben continues, "I had a strictly professional relationship with Mr. Levine and do not know him outside of his capacity as a therapist. I was not and am not aware of what allegations have been made against him.
Ben Affleck has jumped into a lawsuit over the recovery center where he stayed for 40 days .... saying the guy who treated him for alcoholism literally saved his life.
Ben is supporting Noah Levine, who founded Refuge Recovery House, an alternative program to AA. A woman whom Levine dated accused him of sexual misconduct and other issues a year ago ... the LAPD investigated and prosecutors rejected the case. Nevertheless, the Board of Directors is trying to force Levine out, saying the allegations support getting rid of him.
Affleck just filed a declaration, explaining he was a patient last August at the Refuge Recovery treatment center after losing his sobriety. He has also regularly attended meetings and even got one-on-one therapy with Levine.
Ben says, "Working with Noah and his Refuge Recovery program has, quite literally, turned my life around. Today I am sober, happy, healthy and have custody of my three children. All of those things are a result of having Noah in my life. I don't know what I would have done without him."
Ben goes on ... "Noah's patient instruction in sobriety, Buddhism, patience, kindness, compassion and forgiveness form the bedrock of the foundation of my life today. I owe him for my professional life today, the life I have with my children, and the inner sense of equanimity I am actually able to reach from time to time."
In supporting Levine, Ben throws shade at lots of Hollywood hangers-on, saying, "I have been around many people in the recovery field, the self-help world, and the world of those who hang around celebrities for profit and attention ... Noah is without a doubt the person with the most integrity, the most honor, the most genuine compassion and the least motivated by self-interest I have ever known."
And, Lindsay Shookus, who calls Ben her "then live-in boyfriend," says, "I cannot begin to express the tremendous value that Noah's teaching and treatment counseling has had up both me and Ben, and upon my relationship with Ben."

Wendy Williams First Outing with Son Since Court ... Dinner in NYC
Wendy Williams and her son put his assault case aside to grab some grub together, as his legal drama could soon be coming to an end ... if he plays his cards right.
The talk show host and Kevin Hunter Jr. were out in New York Thursday night, seen for the first time since he pled not guilty in a New Jersey courtroom Tuesday.
The 2 looked pretty relaxed, especially Jr. in sneakers, sweats and a white t-shirt with an interesting photo on it. Check it out ... it's a pic of one of Paul Cezanne's paintings from his 1890s The Card Players campaign.
Perhaps Wendy's son's trying to say something here -- he's playing the hand he's been dealt, he's got good cards, or ya gotta know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em -- or maybe it's just a shirt.
Either way ... our sources tell us Kevin Jr. is likely on course for a conditional dismissal in his case, meaning he can completely clear his name if he stays out of trouble for a short amount of time.
As we've reported ... Kevin Sr. has said he does not want to press charges against his son following their scuffle in a parking lot last month in which Jr. allegedly punched Sr. and got arrested for assault.
The incident has soured the father-son relationship, and while things have seemingly gotten a little better as Wendy and Kevin Sr. go through their divorce ... it looks like Dad's still not invited to dinner.
