War Machine 'I Hate The Man I Used To Be' ... Apologizes to Ex-GF

Published | Updated

Ex-MMA star War Machine insists he's no longer the woman-beating maniac he used to be -- he's found Jesus and changed his life ... and he's begging his ex-GF for forgiveness.

War Machine's story made national headlines -- he was a super talented UFC fighter who lost it all in 2014 when he viciously attacked his then-girlfriend, Christy Mack, when he caught her with another man.

Mack's injuries were horrific -- 18 broken bones, broken eye socket, broken nose and a lacerated liver. The other victim, Corey Thomas, was choked out and bitten before escaping.

War Machine was eventually convicted on 29 felony counts and sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 36 years.

Now, the imprisoned fighter -- real name Jon Koppenhaver -- is speaking for the first time from behind bars as part of a documentary by Jon Bravo ... and he's expressing serious remorse.

"There's not a day that goes by that I don't regret that, and I hate it," he says.

"Nobody hates me as much as I hate the man that I used to be."

Machine says he initially blamed Christy for the incident because she was cheating on him -- but has now realized none of it was her fault ... he was the bad guy, period.

"From the bottom of my heart, I apologize to Christy. I'm sorry, Christy."

The full interview with War Machine will be released on YouTube this Wednesday.

Burning Man Founder's Son Busted at Burning Man for Shrooms

Published | Updated

Talk about a bad trip ... the son of the man who created the Burning Man Festival got busted for shrooms at freakin' Burning Man.

The Pershing County Sheriff's Office in Nevada tells TMZ ... Tristan Harvey -- the son of Larry Harvey, who founded Burning Man in 1986 and died in April at 70 -- was driving with 2 friends last week into the festival when they were pulled over for not having a rear license plate.

We're told a police dog sniffed the car, honed in, and cops found Tristan was in possession of a mushroom. He was cited for possession of an illegal substance and driving with a suspended license. He was not arrested and told to go on his merry way, sans mushies.

His friend, a female passenger, also had a shroom, and she also was cited and released. Tristan's other friend wasn't so lucky. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, but cops aren't saying what they found.

Cops tell us over 70k attended the week-long event. They arrested 44 and cited 53.

PSA -- yes, shrooms are illegal at Burning Man.

Cardi B I Had No Hand in Strip Club Attack ... And Offset Didn't Cheat!!!

Published | Updated

Cardi B says the strip club workers alleging she ordered her crew to beat the crap out of them are full of it ... claiming the women are just trying to get famous off her and her husband.

Sources close to Cardi and Offset tell TMZ ... she strongly denies having a hand in an attack of the 2 club bartenders and sisters -- Jade and Baddie Gi -- at Angels Strip Club in NYC last week.

We're told Cardi says she not only didn't order any beatdown, she wasn't involved at all ... and definitely didn't throw a bottle at them as the sisters claim.

And, there's this -- our Cardi and Offset sources say the rumors of him cheating on her with Jade are BS ... the couple believes both women are just "clout chasers," trying to get some pub by making up stories.

As we reported ... the 2 women hired lawyer Joe Tacopina, and they're mulling over filing a lawsuit against Cardi and others. Tacopina also told us both of his clients were going to file a police report about the incident and name Cardi B.

Video from the night in question does show Cardi at the club, but there's no footage of the alleged attack on the bartenders.

'90 Day Fiancé' Star Gets 2.5 Years for Weed Bust ... But Wife's Sticking with Him

Published | Updated

Jorge Nava -- the "90 Day Fiancé" star who was arrested with nearly 300 pounds of weed in his car -- has received his punishment and he's pissed ... but he says there's a silver lining.

Nava tells TMZ ... his lawyer was able to get his class 2 felony charge and the possibility of 24 years behind bars reduced to a class 4 felony, but his plea deal still doesn't keep him out of prison -- he's been sentenced to 2 and a half years.

Jorge thinks the sentence -- while greatly better than it could have been -- is still way too harsh, considering marijuana is legal in some states and legal for medicinal purposes in Arizona ... where he was busted.

Nava fails to mention he was busted for allegedly trying to sell 293 pounds of weed, but nonetheless ... he thinks he got hosed.

His lawyer, Brad Rideout, tells us the judge handed down the max sentence under the plea agreement due to the large amount of marijuana and Jorge's prior record. We're told after her serves his time, he'll get up to 5 months parole.

What's most interesting, though ... Nava tells us he and his wife, Russian beauty Anfisa Arkhipchenko, are doing great. He says she's been very supportive of him throughout his case, and he doesn't foresee a breakup.

Pretty incredible considering their contentious relationship on the TLC show, where she told him if something happened and he couldn't make money to buy her expensive things ... she'd leave his ass.

Good luck, Jorge!

Dylan McDermott Sexual Assault Case Rejected by D.A.

Dylan McDermott is in the clear after a woman claimed he sexually assaulted her in 1991.

The L.A. County District Attorney's Office just rejected the case, saying it fell outside the statute of limitations. According to the reject form, obtained by TMZ, "The allegation is outside the statute of limitations, therefore, an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the evidence is not warranted and prosecution is declined."

In other words, the D.A. didn't even look at the evidence because it's too old to be prosecuted.

A rep for McDermott tells TMZ, "Mr. McDermott learned about these allegations last year and trusted that the process would end exactly as it has."

What's interesting ... the media never knew a woman had filed a claim against McDermott, but the D.A.'s reject form is now a public document.

The news comes on the heels of the D.A.'s office also rejecting sexual assault cases against Kevin Spacey and Steven Seagal ... incidents that also allegedly occurred in the early '90s.

The D.A.'s office also rejected a claim against Anthony Anderson.

The NBA star -- who reportedly made more than $343 MILLION during his NBA career -- claims his former accountant Michael Wertheim was helping a crooked wealth manager skim a fortune from his bank accounts over several years and did nothing to stop it.

In fact, Garnett claims the accountant aided wealth manager Charles A. Banks IV in the theft and should be held responsible ... according to the suit, which has been moved to federal court in Minnesota.

Garnett claims part of the diabolical plot against him involved his wealth manager and accountant trying to get him to live on a budget so they would have a greater pool of cash to steal from.

One example ... in August 2013, Garnett claims he asked his wealth manager to wire him $40,000 of his own money -- but was scolded for exceeding their budget. Meanwhile, KG claims the wealth manager took more than $2 MILLION for himself over an 8-day span.

For his part, accountant Michael Wertheim denies the allegations and his attorney said they will "vigorously" fight the case.

NFL Network Settles Lawsuit With Marshall Faulk Accuser

Published | Updated

The NFL Network has reached a settlement with the former wardrobe stylist who claimed she was sexually harassed by several high profile network stars including Marshall Faulk.

As we previously reported, Jami Cantor sued the network in 2017 claiming she was "subjected to ongoing and continuing sexual harassment by current and former on-air talent."

Among those mentioned in her suit ... Faulk, Warren Sapp, Ike Taylor, Donovan McNabb, Heath Evans and Eric Davis.

The allegations were graphic -- Cantor claimed Faulk pulled out his genitals in front of her and asked invasive questions. She claimed some of the other men sent her sexually explicit text messages and penis pics.

In her suit, Cantor claims she complained to NFL Network execs but nothing was ever done. Instead, Cantor claims she was fired in 2016 and replaced with a much younger woman.

The network suspended Faulk, Taylor and Evans in wake of the lawsuit ... and McNabb and Davis were fired from their gigs with ESPN.

NFL Network had previously filed legal docs denying wrongdoing and suggesting Cantor consented to the misconduct ... but now, new court docs show NFL Network reached a settlement deal with Cantor and the case will be dropped.

The details of the settlement were not disclosed in the document. We reached out to NFL Network -- but a rep declined comment.
