Heather Locklear To Undergo Long-Term Care ... For Substance Abuse, Mental Health Issues

Published | Updated

Heather Locklear will soon move from the psychiatric ward at an L.A.-area hospital to a long-term facility so doctors, psychiatrists and others can help her deal with serious substance abuse as well as mental health issues ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to Heather's family tell us ... doctors at the hospital where she was taken after her latest arrest have conducted a battery of tests that have painted a clear picture ... Heather's problems involve substance abuse and mental health in equal measure, although it's possible the latter is even more serious than the former.

We're told Heather has been cooperative so far, and has voluntarily agreed to enter the long-term facility for treatment. Our sources say there is no plan to try and get a conservatorship, because it's virtually impossible under these circumstances in California -- courts just wouldn't approve it.

There's a lot of breath-holding in Heather's family ... they're hoping she stays committed to receiving long-term treatment.

TMZ broke the stories ... Heather was arrested in June for battery on a police officer, before she was hospitalized for an apparent overdose.

'Downton Abbey' Actor Busted for DUI ... Swerving All Over the Road, Cops Say

Published | Updated

Rade Serbedzija -- who played Prince Kuragin in "Downton Abbey" and memorable movie villains -- nearly took out several cars before he was arrested for DUI ... according to cops.

Santa Monica cops tell us they got calls about a Lexus swerving all over the road last weekend. Once officers pulled him over ... they say they found an open bottle of whiskey, and 71-year-old Rade showed signs of intoxication.

We're told his field sobriety testing did not go well, and he blew over the legal limit.

The Croatian-born actor has starred in tons of American TV shows and movies ... playing bad guys in "Taken 2," "Mission: Impossible II" and "24" -- to name a few. He's even bigger back home, where he's been acting since the '60s.

Cops arrested and booked Rade for DUI. He was released after posting bail.

We've reached out to his rep, but so far no word back.

Where: Alberta, Canada
When: Earlier this week
Why: Two robbery suspects -- a man and a woman -- at a convenience store were attempting to flee from a Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer.

Long story short ... the cop busts out his taser to take down the guy. Meanwhile, his female friend tries to make a clean escape by running into the stockroom and climbing through the ceiling -- y'know, 'Mission: Impossible' style. She almost made it. Almost.

This entire caper was captured by the store's surveillance cameras. Thank God.

Now, kick back and enjoy.

Charles Manson No Criminal History According to WORST. BACKGROUND. CHECK. EVER.

Published | Updated

Charles Manson never ran afoul with the law in his 83 years of existence on this Earth ... this according to a recent background check on the convicted killer.

Manson's pen pal, Michael Channels, filed new legal docs in his fight over Manson's estate. Included in the docs -- to determine how much property was in Manson's name -- was Manson's background check performed earlier this year, and the results are stunning.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, "Charles Milles Manson" with a birthday of "11/11/1934" triggered "NO RECORD FOUND" results under federal criminal court and national criminal record search.

Tad oversight, for sure. Manson, of course, masterminded one of the most heinous murder sprees in American history. He was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to 9 consecutive life sentences.

Couple reasons why the background check might have missed all that -- the database might not go all the way back to when he was convicted (January, 1971), and including Manson's middle name and birthday may have thrown off the search, since it's possible Manson's criminal record doesn't include his middle name.

Oopsies.

03 Greedo Oopsie, Misses Flight to Prison!!

Published | Updated

03 Greedo failed to appear in court Wednesday to turn himself in for a 20-year prison sentence and we've learned it's because he missed his flight out of Los Angeles.

Greedo's supposed to be a couple days in to his stint at the Potter County Detention Center in Amarillo, Texas. The trouble started when he missed his original flight to Dallas, which made him miss his connecting one to Amarillo.

The rapper was smart about it, though -- we're told he was in contact with prison officials the minute he touched down in Texas, letting them know about the delay. By the time he landed in Amarillo, law enforcement was waiting to take him to Potter.

The judge had issued a bench warrant for his arrest after Greedo was a no-show, which is standard protocol.

The rapper had a farewell concert two nights before in L.A. where he proposed to his girlfriend ... which, we're guessing, MIGHT have something to do with him missing his flight.

He's serving the 20 years for drug and gun charges.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Gunning for Custody After Car Dragging Incident

Published | Updated

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's 3-month-old daughter has been primarily in his care since the violent car dragging incident with his baby mama ... and we're told he's got custody on his mind.

Sources close to the 'Jersey Shore' star and Jen Harley tell TMZ ... their baby girl, Ariana, has been staying with him since the ex-couple's nasty fight last weekend in Vegas, for which Harley was arrested for domestic battery.

We're told Ronnie's mother has been helping with the babysitting and they are still allowing Jen to see Ariana ... but Ronnie and Jen aren't talking much unless it's about their daughter's needs.

Our Ronnie sources say he's considering getting a family attorney involved because, so far, there's absolutely no formal custody arrangement. We're told Ronnie wants 50/50 joint custody ... something he'd probably get.

We broke the story ... Harley told police Ronnie hit her multiple times during Sunday's domestic dispute, but cops determined she was the primary aggressor and arrested her.

According to the police report, both sustained minor injuries ... but photos of the vehicle afterward show it was a pretty bloody mess.

INSIDE THE COURTROOM

The judge in the Kellen Winslow rape case just denied the ex-NFL star's request to be released from jail and put on house arrest because he's afraid Kellen could escape with some 'Mission Impossible' trickery.

Yes, we're serious.

Winslow's lawyer told the court that Kellen's house is equipped with a surveillance system -- and they'd be happy to give prosecutors full access to monitor the ex-NFL player at all times.

But, the judge shot that down -- in part because he saw Tom Cruise in a 'Mission Impossible' movie fool the Russians by tricking the cameras ... and he's worried Kellen could pull off the same move.

"So, what about all these movies I watch like Mission Impossible and stuff like that where they create this endless loop?" the judge said in open court.

"So the guy, like the Russians watching something ... he sees everything is fine and meanwhile, Tom Cruise and all his folks are going around the scene and doing all this stuff."

Yes, the judge is worried Kellen Winslow will use spy tricks.

Kellen's lawyer assured the judge, "Tom Cruise isn't on our team yet."

Ultimately, bail was denied. Kellen remains in jail until his next court hearing.

This message will self-destruct in 5, 4, 3 ...

Justin Bieber Skipped Depo to Hang with Hailey ... Claims Egging Neighbor

Published | Updated

3:01 PM PT -- Bieber's legal team claims the singer provided alternative dates to sit down for a depo, but Schwartz's attorneys rushed to file warrant docs before trying to work something out. They also claim Bieber hasn't been personally served the lawsuit.

Justin Bieber skipped a scheduled grilling from lawyers, and decided to make out with Hailey Baldwin instead ... according to his ex-neighbor who now wants Justin arrested.

The Biebs was ordered by a judge to attend a deposition, which was scheduled for June 22, in his infamous and STILL ongoing egging case with former Calabasas neighbor, Jeffrey Schwartz.

Problem is, JB didn't show up. According to new legal docs, Schwartz believes it was because he was in NYC packing on the PDA with Hailey. So now, Schwartz wants the judge to issue a bench warrant for Bieber and fine him $1,000 bucks a day for each day he refuses to sit for the depo.

HANDFUL OF HAILEY

Schwartz also accuses Bieber of engaging in "obfuscation and delay tactics" and points out he's already skipped out on 5 scheduled depos in the past 2 years. The judge has yet to rule on the warrant.

We broke the story ... Schwartz -- who's being repped by John Carpenter and Brian Kim -- wants big bucks from Bieber from all the emotional distress he and his wife suffered from the 2014 egging and the aftermath.

Justin was charged criminally in the case, and already paid $80k in restitution.

Meek Mill Appeals Judge Brinkley's Decision ... to PA Supreme Court

Published | Updated

Meek Mill's legal team just filed new legal docs asking Pennsylvania's highest court to remove Judge Genece Brinkley from his case ... on the heels of her denying him a new trial.

The appeal to the PA Supreme Court comes just 3 days after Brinkley ruled Meek's side failed to meet its burden of proof. It was a shocking decision given even the D.A. had repeatedly stated Meek deserved a new trial, considering his arresting officer -- the only witness in Meek's 2008 trial -- is a key figure in a massive Philadelphia police corruption scandal.

In legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Meek's lawyers are adamant Brinkley had made up her mind before Meek's hearing concluded earlier this week. Lawyers cite the transcript which they claim shows Brinkley lacking impartiality because "she acted like a prosecutor, not a judge." Interesting ... even the real prosecutor thinks Meek deserves a new trial.

As we reported ... Meek's team accused Brinkley of laughing at one of their key witnesses, but they also point to another fiery exchange triggered after Brinkley said, "... because obviously we know that it's going to go to another court after here." Meek's lawyer, Brian McMonagle, asked if she's implying she'd already made up her mind and realized her decision would be appealed to a higher court. She denied it.

Meek's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, called Brinkley's ruling a "miscarriage of justice."

La La Anthony Demands 'Justice for Junior' ... Over Bronx Murder

Lala Anthony
HOPING FOR JUSTICE

La La Anthony says meeting with the family of Lesandro Guzman-Feliz (the boy dragged out of a corner store and murdered) was "super emotional" -- but now she wants justice.

As we previously reported, La La and Carmelo Anthony met with the 15-year-old boy's family to help console them after the senseless stabbing. La La was told Lesandro (aka Junior) was a huge Melo fan.

"I have a son and that story really touched me," La La tells TMZ Sports ... "I wanted to do something to make a difference."

So, what now? La La says the mission is simple -- "We want justice for Junior."

"I just want his family to have some kind of peace."

So far, cops have arrested 8 suspects in the slaying -- alleged gang members -- and Junior's mother has called for all of them to get life in prison.

Cops say the alleged killers had mistaken Junior -- a member of the NYPD's police explorer program -- for someone else.

Ben Gordon Off the Hook In Knife-Wielding Robbery Case

Published | Updated

A judge has dismissed the weapons charges against ex-NBA star Ben Gordon -- after Ben cut a fat 5-figure check to the man he allegedly robbed at knifepoint back in November.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... the former Chicago Bulls player was initially arrested for felony robbery after allegedly going to an L.A. apartment building, pulling a blade on the manager and demanding thousands of dollars in cash.

We're told the incident stemmed from a dispute over Ben's security deposit -- which is odd considering Gordon made $84 MILLION during his NBA career.

The charges were later reduced to 4 misdemeanors -- battery, brandishing a weapon, criminal threats and carrying a knife in plain view.

But now, we've learned ALL of the charges have been dismissed after Ben reached a "civil compromise" with the alleged victim.

Our sources say Gordon cut a $25,000 check and the manager decided to back off.

Gordon still has other legal problems on his plate -- he's still facing charges for unlawfully pulling fire alarms at an apartment building back in June 2017.

Janoris Jenkins' Brother Charged with Manslaughter

Published | Updated

The brother of NY Giants star Janoris Jenkins has been charged with aggravated manslaughter in the death of a man found in the basement of JJ's New Jersey home ... officials say.

TMZ Sports broke the story ... William Jenkins was taken into custody early Tuesday morning on an unrelated parole warrant violation.

But now, officials clearly believe that, before they arrested Jenkins, he killed Roosevelt Rene ... the man discovered at Janoris' home.

Rene's body was not found until roughly 9 hours after William was arrested. But, once they started investigating ... they believe they found enough evidence to connect William to the killing.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office says the investigation is ongoing and notes that the charges are "merely accusations. Defendant presumed innocent."

If convicted, William Jenkins faces 10 to 30 years in prison.

XXXTentacion Murder Case Cops Name Second Person of Interest

Published | Updated

XXXTentacion's murder investigation just intensified as cops have officially named a second person of interest.

The Broward County Sheriff's office is searching for 22-year-old Robert Allen who may be connected to the killing of the 20-year-old rapper over a week ago. Cops say Allen was on surveillance video at the motorcycle shop in Pompano Beach where XXX was shopping before he was gunned down in his car.

It's unclear why cops believe Allen might be connected to the murder. As we previously reported ... cops have already arrested Dedrick Williams for murder and said there were at least 2 other suspects.

We broke the story ... the case has expanded beyond the scope of the Broward County Sheriff's Dept., with the U.S. Marshals also getting involved in the case and helping nab Williams.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro Friends Afraid He'll Be in Danger If He Goes Back to Jen

Published | Updated

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's friends are warning the 'Jersey Shore' star to cut ties with his baby mama, out of fears her latest domestic violence arrest is a bad omen of what's to come if he stays with her.

Sources close to Ronnie tell us he's been trying hard to have a good relationship with Jen Harley because he's worried she'll take full custody of their daughter. We're told that's the only reason he was at a BBQ with her Sunday, hours before she allegedly dragged him outside their car.

Ronnie's friends are telling him it's time to quit playing family man and look out for his safety and his daughter's, and they say that means staying away from Jen. We're told friends are also advising him to handle the custody situation in court, because there's no upside to reconciling with Jen at this point.

TMZ broke the story, Harley allegedly attacked Ronnie in their car on the way home from a Vegas BBQ. We're told their 2-month-old daughter, Ariana, was in the car at the time ... and there's growing concern she could be caught in the middle of any future fights.

Harley was also named the suspect in a battery investigation after she allegedly spit on and hit Ronnie 3 weeks ago during an argument over their daughter and dead dog.

'Jersey Shore' cameras weren't rolling during Jen and Ronnie's latest incident, but we're told their constant fighting will be a featured story line on the show.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. Found Not Guilty Of Punching Woman

Floyd Mayweather Sr. is off the hook in his battery case -- after a judge found him NOT GUILTY of attacking a woman after the Canelo vs. GGG fight ... TMZ Sports has learned.

As we previously reported, Floyd Mayweather's father turned himself in after a woman claimed the former boxer grabbed her and then punched her in the leg after the boxing match at T-Mobile Arena in Vegas in Sept. 2017.

The 65-year-old had adamantly denied roughing up the woman and pled not guilty in court.

Now, we've learned the case went to trial in front of a judge -- and, on Tuesday, Floyd Sr. was found not guilty.

A rep for Floyd Sr. tells TMZ Sports ... "The truth came out. Floyd Sr. is very happy this is behind him. He was never guilty. He's happy it's over."

The rep believes the accuser was only out for money -- and tells us, "This is what greed does."

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ ... the U.S. Marshals and Broward County Sheriff's Dept. are on an intense hunt to track down at least 2 other suspects who disappeared after Dedrick D. Williams was arrested last week for murder.

We're told the Marshall has been at the forefront from the beginning ... the Office played a major role with the Broward County Sheriff's Dept. in nabbing Dedrick. But as we first reported ... cops believe 3 people were involved in the murder of the 20-year-old rapper, and arrest warrants have been issued for the remaining 2.

TMZ broke the story ... XXX was gunned down in his car outside a motorcycle shop in Pompano Beach. It's unclear if the killers knew XXX or if it was a robbery.
