Shawn Mendes faced a produce catastrophe while unloading groceries at home ... because his food took a tumble right out the trunk!!!

He finished up a grocery run Thursday but experienced the mishap in his driveway when he went around back to grab the goods out of his Range Rover -- unlucky for him, the items came pouring out of his trunk, with the bag tipping over entirely.

Shawn, who's still rocking his beard, tried his best to catch the falling grub, but to no avail. It all went down as his driveway's gate closed on him ... with, arguably, perfect comedic timing.

Shawn eventually came around the front to pick up the rogue potatoes before heading back inside with the salvaged food.

Moments later, Taylor rolled up in an SUV driven by a chauffeur with two beefy bodyguards to protect her. Looking classy and chic, Taylor stepped out of her ride and sauntered inside the hotel with several pals following behind.

On Tuesday, Taylor and Sophie were photographed walking arm and arm into Via Carota restaurant for a sit-down dinner, Italian style. Coupled with last night's outing, the two are fast becoming BFFs.

All this comes as Sophie and Joe duke it out in divorce court -- and now federal court. As we reported ... Sophie filed a lawsuit against Joe hours before her second meet-up with Taylor.

In the suit, Sophie accused Joe of unlawfully keeping their children in the Big Apple instead of allowing them to return to England with her. She even cited a child abduction law.

Joe categorically denied the accusations, saying it's Sophie who has crossed the line by violating a Florida court order that restricts both parents from relocating their kids.

Here's the reality ... even if Joe and Sophie made a deal when they were together that they'd move to England, that deal is not binding on the divorce judge. The judge's North Star is what's in the best interests of the 2 kids -- deal or no deal.

Weeks ago, Joe filed for divorce from Sophie in Dade County, claiming their 4-year marriage was irretrievably broken and asking for joint custody of their 2 young daughters.

This gentleman was apparently having an episode in West Hollywood, and Denzel came over to comfort him as police eventually arrived and got a handle on things. Even while officers were talking to the man, DW stuck around and provided him comfort. It was quite something.

A year prior, Lil Pump was doing his own food giveaway just in time for the holidays ... handing out tons of corndogs to folks who were on the street and hungry.

BTW ... Pump was doing this on Skid Row in DTLA -- one of the most heavily populated areas for unhoused folks in the city.

Jeremy Renner, too, has proven to have a charitable spirit ... he once took his daughter with him to hand out jackets, blankets and food to homeless people in Reno, NV.

At the time, JR did this right around Thanksgiving -- setting a good example for his kid.

As the whole group was heading toward the front entrance, Saint let the photogs on hand know how he felt about their presence ... throwing up a middle finger.

The sight of a little kid throwing up the F-U signal is pretty funny in and of itself, but the way KK reacts to Saint's gesture is even more hilarious, TBH.

Here's the first video of Jonathan Majors playing the hero in real life ... getting right in the middle of an intense high school fight to break things up while several other people just watched.

TMZ obtained the video showing 2 female students trading serious blows Monday afternoon at Hollywood High School, which happens to be directly across the street from an In-N-Out ... and that's how Jonathan got involved.

The actor was grabbing lunch when he saw the girls, and decided to rush into the middle of the melee to rip the girls apart, urging them to calm down and telling them it isn't worth it to fight.

Majors is obviously a lot bigger than both of the combatants, but that doesn't slow them down, as they continued attacking each other even while he was in the middle. Eventually, he gets them fully pulled apart and gets the situation under control.

Unclear where school faculty was during the brawl, but it's a good thing Majors decided to step in. We're told after the video cut, both girls went their separate ways.

We spoke to Jonathan in West Hollywood hours after the fight, and he told us he just wanted to make sure those involved didn't get hurt, and hoped the girls were doing ok after what went down.

Paqui, the company responsible for the viral "One Chip Challenge," is yanking the product off of store shelves ... in response to a teenager who died after eating the product.

The company has a statement at the top of its website, saying the challenge "is intended for adults only, with clear and prominent labeling highlighting the chip is not for children or anyone sensitive to spicy foods."

Paqui says it's seen an uptick in minors jumping in on the challenge, despite the warning label on the packaging -- adding the company's now "working with our retailers to remove the product from shelves."

The company is even offering refunds to folks who have already purchased the challenge. Unclear if it's the end of the product, or if the plan is to ditch the product and come up with a new option ... but Paqui says the product already adheres to food safety standards.

As we reported, 14-year-old Harris Wolobah died in Massachusetts last week -- according to his mother, his passing was a result of complications he suffered from consuming the chip at school.

While Harris' official cause of death is still pending, his mother claims the school contacted her on Friday about a stomach ache he had after eating the Paqui chip, but allegedly was feeling better when he got home. However, she says he collapsed and was rushed to a hospital not long after, where he was pronounced dead.

Harris' mom has been pointing fingers at Harris' school -- mainly for not taking him straight to the hospital when his stomach started hurting, which potentially could've saved his life.

A Chipotle worker in Ohio says she's got PTSD from a customer's ballistic burrito bowl assault -- and the full spicy confrontation was caught on camera.

The incident went down in Parma, OH -- it's hard to hear exactly what the customer was arguing about, but it's safe to assume she was pissed about how her order came out Tuesday night.

Early on in the clip, another customer defends the employee who's taking the verbal beating ... the irate patron complains about waiting for their food, and the woman in gray responds, "Then go to Taco Bell!"

And, just as the back-and-forth seems to settle down, the customer slams her food into the employee's face ... completely covering her, and drawing a big reaction from onlookers.

The woman from the beginning of the clip even swoops in as the customer tries to leave, getting in a brief physical spat ... before the bowl-thrower gets outta there.

A witness claimed the customer in question left unhappy with their food and came back 5 minutes later to start yelling, according to Fox8.

The worker says she now suffers from anxiety as a result of the incident, but a witness says they were impressed by how well the employee kept her cool at the moment.
