Irrfan Khan 'Life of Pi,' 'Slumdog' Star Dead at 53

Published | Updated

Irrfan Khan -- Bollywood icon and star of films like "Slumdog Millionaire" and "Life of Pi" -- has died after battling cancer.

The Indian actor died Wednesday in a Mumbai hospital after being admitted to the ICU for a colon infection earlier this week.

His rep says ... "Irrfan was a strong soul, someone who fought till the very end and always inspired everyone who came close to him."

Khan revealed in March 2018 that he had been diagnosed with a rare neuroendocrine tumor, an abnormal growth that begins in the body's specialized neuroendocrine cells. We're told he'd been getting chemotherapy in London and traveling back and forth to India in recent months.

Khan is one of India's most famous and beloved actors, and has more than 150 Bollywood and Hollywood credits to his name.

He attended the National School of Drama in New Delhi and started his acting career soon after, playing mainly supporting roles for more than a decade. He had his big break in early 2000s, though ... racking up awards for his starring role in the 2003 film, "Haasil."

Irrfan went on to star in other award-winning films such as "Like In A….Metro" before busting onto the international scene in 2008 when he appeared in the Oscar hit, "Slumdog Millionaire."

He then landed a starring role in the acclaimed "Life of Pi," and would go on to appear in movies like "The Amazing Spider-Man," "Jurassic World" and "Inferno."

Sadly, the actor's mother also died last week, but he was unable to attend her funeral due to the coronavirus pandemic lockdowns.

Priyanka Chopra is one of many Bollywood stars to post a tribute to Khan.

Irrfan is survived by his wife and 2 children.

He was 53.

NYC Dweller Naked Rooftop Dancing in the Rain ... Quarantine Friendly!!!

Published | Updated

One guy in New York was ready to get his Don Lockwood on -- 'cause he happily did a little number out in the rain, only he had his own twist to it ... skip the clothes, cheeks out.

Watch this very excited man dance butt naked on his roof in the City That Never Sleeps (or gets dressed, apparently), all while a nice drizzle comes down from above. Not to worry -- the dude had some coverage to fend off the wet weather ... above his head, that is. He was rocking an umbrella while doing his routine ... yeah, that'll definitely fend off pneumonia.

Of course, you gotta give this feller his props -- he's out there by himself and seems to be practicing solid social distancing. He's also getting some good exercise going back and forth.

BTW, he's not even close to the first New Yorker to raise the roof in town -- tons of other residents have made it a regular thing when it's nice out. Sun's out, bun's out.

And no, we're not gonna get out of here without mentioning how inspired this is -- and yes, we're naturally talking about the classic 1952 "Singin' in the Rain," in which Gene Kelly's character has his famous scene where he hits the drenched streets with a song and dance.

Take it away, GK ... tell 'em how in love you are!

Chris Pratt, Kat Schwarzenegger Bun No. 1 is in the Oven ... Expecting Child Together

Published | Updated

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have a baby on the way -- their first together ... which means Arnold Schwarzenegger will be a newly-minted grandparent too.

TMZ has confirmed the married couple is expecting, though it's unclear how far along Kat might be at the moment. Reports surfaced last year that they were eager to get their family started as soon as possible -- they got hitched just last June after about a year of dating.

No word yet on whether the kid might be a girl or boy, but it looks like the mom-to-be has a baby bump well underway right now ... she was spotted out this week in L.A. with her mom, Maria Shriver, with loose clothing and a hoodie on, which seems to show her belly's grown. Per our sources, Kat instantly covered up when she saw she was being photographed. The couple hasn't made the announcement yet, but we know it's true. People broke the news.

This would make baby no. 1 for Kat, but it'd be Chris' second child. He's got a young son, Jack, that he shares with his ex-wife, Anna Faris ... to whom he was married for several years before getting divorced in 2018.

They both moved on -- Anna appears to be engaged. Interestingly enough, we'd heard Chris didn't want more kids in the foreseeable future, and that issue was one of the sticking points at the end of CP and AF's marriage.

In any case, the new baby means a lot for the Schwarzenegger family -- specifically, Arnie himself. This would be his first grandkid EVER, which is wild ... 'cause all of his own children are pretty damn grown now, but just haven't planted a seed. 'Til now, that is.

So, congrats ... to everyone!!!

Tom Brady Roasted By Rich Eisen You're In The Wrong House!!!

Published

The NFL's Draft-A-Thon was more like The Roast of Tom Brady on Thursday ... with the Tampa Bay QB getting all the jokes about his recent goof-up.

We broke the story ... TB12 accidentally entered the wrong house recently when trying to visit his coach, Byron Leftwich. The shocked homeowner could barely believe his eyes when he realized it was Tom Frickin' Brady.

Brady's buddies won't let him live the hilarious mistake down during the league's COVID-19 charity event ... 'cause the NFL Network's Rich Eisen made sure to hit him with a friendly jab about it after Brady tried to rip Russell Wilson for being in his car during the event.

"Tom's in the wrong house," Eisen said. "Tom strolled into the wrong house."

HAAAAAAAAA, good one, Rich Eisen.

Brady hit back with a joke of his own ... saying, "They got Wi-Fi, so I'm cool."

The whole clip is legitimately hilarious ... with Russ dogging Brady for having a zebra-striped chair, Kevin Hart roasting Deion Sanders for looking like Bill Russell, and more.

But remember, Brady ... knock first.

'Crazy Rich Asians' Henry Golding I'm Not Giving Up on Stella ... After Dog Park Attack

Published | Updated

Henry Golding's not giving up on fostering a pit bull named Stella ... even after she bit another dog ... but seems he's warier of where they take their walks.

The "Crazy Rich Asians" star took Stella for a stroll in the sun Thursday at a park in Santa Monica. No other dogs around, just Stella and her foster dad ... who's heeding lockdown guidelines and wearing a face covering.

Henry had Stella on a short leash this time, one week after she attacked a smaller dog.

We broke the story ... Golding took Stella to Pan Pacific Park in L.A. last week, where she bit a smaller pup that was not on a leash, by the way. We're told Henry's dog picked up the other dog by the neck, causing a large gash that required 6 staples.

The actor is offering to pay the vet bills for the smaller dog, which is expected to make a full recovery.

It's pretty commendable that Henry didn't take Stella back to the shelter after the incident -- and is instead choosing to continue giving her a foster home.

'Crazy Rich Asians' Henry Golding Pit Bull Mauls Smaller Dog

Published | Updated
UPDATE

9:55 AM PT -- The smaller dog's owner tells us Henry and his team only offered to pay her vet bills after she posted about the incident on Instagram ... she says her emails to him were initially ignored for several days.

Henry Golding's fostered pit bull mauled another pooch in a park -- causing a trip to the vet and staples -- but the actor is now stepping up to cover the injured pooch's bills.

Here's the deal ... the "Crazy Rich Asians" star is fostering a pit bull named Stella during the coronavirus pandemic, and last week Henry brought her to Pan Pacific Park in Los Angeles, where all hell broke loose.

We're told Stella attacked a smaller pup while the dogs were running around, picking the pooch up by the neck and causing a large gash that required several hours at an animal hospital. The hurt pup needed 6 staples, but will survive.

The owner of the smaller dog tells us she spoke to a police officer who was at the park, but the cops couldn't do anything and told her the incident needed to be resolved between the 2 parties. We're also told Henry's dog was on a leash, and the smaller pooch was not.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

We're told Henry gave the other dog's owner an email, and both parties have been in communication. A Source close to Henry tells us he's offered to pay the medical bills.

'Mighty Ducks' Goalie On The Mend After Meth Bust ... Finally Looking Healthy!!!

Published | Updated

Shaun Weiss -- famous for playing Goldberg in "The Mighty Ducks" -- seems to be pulling out of his downward spiral, as he's looking much healthier than he has since his most recent meth bust.

Check out this pic of Shaun now ... he's no longer frail and disheveled. Instead, he's in great spirits and has apparently gained a lot of weight. He was having breakfast last month with his close friend, Drew Gallagher, when the picture was taken.

It's a good sign for Shaun who finally went to rehab in March after getting out of jail.

As we first reported ... Shaun's friends said they were desperate to get the troubled child star help before it was too late -- he was living on the streets and dealing with a slew of life-threatening problems before January's burglary and meth arrest.

When he got out of jail he checked into the recovery facility, but we're told he was recently transferred to a different one due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Our sources say Shaun was told he was at a higher risk of catching COVID-19 because he has diabetes and the original facility could no longer keep him with its main population. So, his team found the new rehab center.

This is, hands down, the best we've seen Shaun looking in a long while -- here's hoping he continues getting the help he needs.

Andie MacDowell Gets Way Down with Daughters ... For the Great Outdoors

Published | Updated

Andie MacDowell showed how low she can go ... for some fresh air and exercise during the coronavirus pandemic.

The "Groundhog Day" star and her 2 actress daughters -- Margaret and Rainey Qualley -- must be feeling like they're living the same day over and over again, so they wanted to mix it up and go for a hike together in L.A.

Problem is ... the gate at the Audubon Center at Debs Park was closed, with signs stating it's shuttered until April 30 due to COVID-19 concerns, so the trio had to bust out some extreme stretching to get in. Looks like Andie and Rainey had a different approach to the task ... but same result.

Stir craziness apparently makes you pretty limber! Andie's little dog was able to sneak in too ... but without any trouble or extra effort.

It's a micro look at what's going on across the country ... with people defying the stay-at-home orders and social distancing and in some cases outright rebelling.

Emile Hirsch Finds Dead Rat Under Stove Top ... What's That Smell???

Published

Emile Hirsch got a whiff of something nasty in his house -- and it turned out to be one of the vilest things you could imagine ... rodent infiltration.

The ''Into the Wild'' actor made the discovery while properly attired with an n95 face mask -- not for the 'rona --- just to block out the foul odor he'd detected, but couldn't quite put his finger on. That is, until his nose led him to the kitchen stove.

Check it out ... Emile lifts up the range and lo and behold -- there's a freakin' RAT under there, which appears dead (hopefully it is). If you're panicking by just hearing that, watch how crazed EH got ... rightfully so. Ol' ratsy seems to have suffocated on the gas.

It's a good thing he found it too, 'cause Emile says he was turning the house upside down just to track down the gnarly smell. Yep -- dead rats will definitely leave that behind.

Even in the age of COVID-19, sometimes the grossest things are the simplest.

This one goes out to you, Emile!!! Hit that UB40 ...
