Paris Jackson Isaac Kappy Fears Intensify ... Leaves Home, Hires Armed Guards

Published | Updated

Paris Jackson is taking extreme measures to protect herself from Isaac Kappy, the actor who allegedly choked her, including amping up her security and moving out of her home ... TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the case tell us Paris has continued getting text messages from Kappy, and they're rambling and downright scary. We're told the tone of the texts is similar to the letters Kappy sent to Seth Green -- loving and caring, but also sounding like he's coming unhinged.

We're told Paris initially responded to Kappy's texts because she feared he was suicidal and wanted to be supportive.

TMZ broke the story ... Kappy was good friends with Paris and Seth up until last month when he allegedly choked Paris during a game night party. He also posted videos accusing Seth and his wife of being pedophiles, and intimated he was prepared for a shootout with police.

Our sources say Paris isn't taking any chances. We're told she's relocating, and now has armed security with her at all times. She's also blocked his number.

As we told you, LAPD's Threat Management unit is investigating.

Harvey Weinstein I Got 40 Emails that Prove ... Alleged Rape Victim Consented to Sex

Published | Updated

2:13 PM PT -- A judge just granted Weinstein's legal team permission to publish the emails in the criminal case.

Harvey Weinstein says there are around 40 emails that will show he didn't rape one of his accusers.

Weinstein's lawyers just filed legal docs saying the emails show the accuser was not a rape victim, but rather a consensual partner in a relationship with him. We're told the 40 emails were sent just after the alleged rape, and the emails present a picture of a woman who was showing affection for him.

We're told Weinstein did not use a personal email, but rather one from The Weinstein Company and, when he was fired, the company wouldn't give him access to the account. His lawyers got access, but the bankruptcy judge issued a protective order prohibiting them from disseminating the emails.

Weinstein's lawyers now want permission to use the emails as an exhibit in a motion to dismiss the indictment, on grounds the Manhattan D.A. knew of the emails but never presented them to the grand jury that indicted Weinstein. His lawyers say that amounts to misconduct -- failure to present crucial evidence -- and warrants dismissal of the indictment.

The emails only related to the one woman and not the 2 other women who were the subject of 2 other indictments.

Ashley Greene Nude Beach Honeymoon Was Perfect for My Husband's ...

Published | Updated

Ashley Greene's new husband likes to keep it real and raw ... and she's more than willing to accommodate!

We got the "Twilight" star at LAX Wednesday and asked her about her recent honeymoon in Hawaii ... where Ashley and Paul Khoury hit up a nude beach. Turns out, Paul likes to hang loose and she was happy to tag along ... in her own way.

As Ashley tells it ... her Australian hubby's baring all at home all the time, so a few strangers checkin' out the goods is no big deal. But, the newly married couple had to be strategic about the whole thing ... turns out the nude beach might not even be legal!

Didn't stop Ashley, although she did warn Paul she'd kill him if something happened.

Chris Pratt Jack's Warming Up to GF Katherine

Published | Updated

Chris Pratt isn't slow-playing the whole "meet my girlfriend" thing with his kid -- 'cause the trio was looking like a picture-perfect fam Wednesday in Malibu.

The "Jurassic World" star was with his son, Jack, and his new boo, Katherine Schwarzenegger, for a dinner date at Soho House. The good news for Chris ... Kat and Jack seem to be getting very familiar with each other.

Remember, they all just went to church together Sunday and afterward grabbed some sweet treats ... for Jack and Chris.

Can't blame Chris for moving things along at a brisk pace -- Anna's definitely done the same with her BF in the time since she and CP filed for divorce.

Kudos to Chris and Anna -- based on Jack's happy face, this looks like textbook co-parenting.

WE NEED TO ADDRESS THIS

Camille Hyde says she's seen blackface used on the set of some productions ... and it makes people uncomfortable.

We got the "American Vandal" star Wednesday in L.A.'s Larchmont Village neighborhood where we asked for her thoughts on a young actor stand-in being darkened to match the complexion of Keith L. Williams in "Good Boys"... which upset some members of the crew.

Camille says the practice of using makeup to make a stand-in match the actor's skin color isn't totally unheard of -- in fact, she tells us she's seen it done herself.

As for how it was handled ... Camille says the issue was brought up then -- much like it's being brought up now -- and believes speaking your truth is the best way to address it.

Like they say -- cooler heads ...

Common It's 2018, People ... No Excuse Ever for Blackface

Published | Updated

Common says if a stand-in for a movie or TV show requires makeup to match skin complexion with the actor ... the director better find a new stand-in.

We got the rapper/actor leaving Equinox Wednesday in WeHo, and he weighed in on the controversy involving the upcoming comedy "Good Boys." We broke the story ... a stand-in for child actor Keith L. Williams was on set in blackface. Common's NOT down with it.

He tells us it's never appropriate to go the blackface route, and doesn't buy the production company's claim it's standard practice to use makeup to match skin tones for lighting purposes. But, even if it is -- he says it's time to end it.

Common also suggests it shouldn't be just black people speaking out if they see this happening.

'Good Boys' Child Actor Put in 'Blackface'

Published | Updated

The filmmakers behind an upcoming comedy used makeup to darken the face of a child actor's stand-in -- a la "blackface" -- but the film's production company says it's common practice.

Sources connected to the film, "Good Boys" -- produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg -- tell TMZ ... 11-year-old Keith L. Williams' stand-in was on set last week in Vancouver, and wearing dark brown makeup on his face.

We're told the stand-in was also rocking an afro wig and fitted in a fat suit. Williams was on a break at the time, but our sources say the sight of his stand-in was upsetting to at least one person on set.

Other sources connected to the production company, Good Universe, tell us it's "not uncommon for lighting purposes to match actors' skin tones" ... and they insist this is not a blackface situation.

We've spoken to others in the industry who say their experience is, rather than using makeup, casting directors typically make a point of hiring stand-ins who match the actors' complexions.

We're told "Good Boys" producers were aware someone had filed a complaint, and they were in the process of addressing the grievance.

For the record, we're told the stand-in is a light-skinned African-American kid.

Our studio sources added, the child's father, "a longtime stunt performer himself, who is also on the set, is offended by the [complaints] being made regarding his son."

Laurence Fishburne Toeing the Line Between Comfy & Fashion

Published | Updated

Laurence Fishburne went on a late-night stroll down the Hollywood Walk of Fame ... but, don't worry, no fights broke out.

The legendary actor was outside Katsuya in Hollywood, looking pretty chill and especially comfortable in some casual toe shoes. Easy to see who's staying cool for the summer.

Laurence strolled past Susan Saint James and French actress Michèle Morgan's star ... which explains why it was pretty quiet on that stretch of the Walk of Fame. Not much controversy there.

Meanwhile, a few blocks down at Donald Trump's star ... it's virtually a UFC Octagon with all the brawls going down.

KILLIN' FOR A ROLE

With Ronda Rousey's movie career taking off, the UFC legend says she's aiming high -- and wants a very specific role if Quentin Tarantino goes forward with a 3rd installment of "Kill Bill."

We got Rousey in NYC where she was promoting her new flick "Mile 22" -- where she stars alongside Mark Wahlberg and John Malkovich. Ronda thinks the movie has a real shot to win an Oscar.

But, moving forward, Rousey says she REALLY wants to play a "grown-up B.B. in 'Kill Bill 3.'"

Of course, B.B. was Beatrix Kiddo's (Uma Thurman) daughter in the original movies.

Tarantino has talked about possibly making a 3rd 'K.B.' flick -- but there's nothing in the works.

... at least, not yet.

ALL ABOUT THE GIANTS

NY Giants co-owner Steve Tisch -- who's also a huge movie producer -- says he's down to put Odell Beckham Jr. in one of his flicks ... BUT, there's a catch.

"After a long career," Tisch tells TMZ Sports.

Still ... Tisch has produced movies like "The Equalizer," "Southpaw" and "Forrest Gump" (he won an Oscar) -- and can you fathom OBJ in any of those down the road?!

As for if Tisch envisions the receiver spending that long football career in New York ... he didn't exactly specify -- but his tone seems to suggest the Giants DO want to pay him long-term.

And, when it comes to Odell's QB ... Steve tells us he's cool with keeping Eli Manning around for a while longer too -- but he explains why Eli's gotta play better than last season to earn that right.

Harvey Weinstein I'm Still in the Movies

Published | Updated

Harvey Weinstein made his living making movies, and now it seems he's using movies as an escape from his legal woes, because he's becoming a fixture at a Connecticut movie theater.

Weinstein hit up the Bow Tie Royale 6 Theater in Westport Monday night, where he caught 'Transylvania 3' and "Mission: Impossible - Fallout." He tried to go semi-incognito, wearing all black, a hat and sunglasses.

A theatergoer who recognized Weinstein said he was laughing and "having a good time with the kids in the theater."

We're told this was the second night in a row he showed up at the theater.

Weinstein is facing 6 charges of various forms of sexual assault, including rape. He's pled not guilty.

Sean Gunn 'Guardians' Letter Speaks for Itself Won't Speculate on a Rehire

Published | Updated

James Gunn's future in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise is now in the hands of Disney -- a future his own brother won't try to predict after the cast's public cry of support.

We got Sean Gunn at LAX Monday just hours after he and the rest of the 'Guardians' actors penned an open letter going to bat for their fired director after he was canned over a week ago for old tweets that made light of rape and pedophilia.

The actor doesn't have much more to add beyond what the letter says clear as day -- that the 'Guardians' "fully support" James -- but he does elaborate on what he thinks is happening to his big bro ... a full-on character assassination that he chalks up to mere lies.

He says he wants to know what fans think for themselves ... and hopes people will listen more now before they attack. As to whether Disney might reverse course ... Sean stays tight-lipped.

'Star Trek' Star Brent Spiner Check Your Data ... I Don't Look Like Zuckerberg!!

Published | Updated

Mark Zuckerberg's been getting the meme treatment for supposedly looking like a 'Star Trek' character -- ever since he testified to Congress -- but the actor himself doesn't see it.

We got Brent Spiner Monday in Malibu where we asked if he'd seen the hilarious Zuck memes putting him on the 'Next Generation' set as the android, Data.

Brent admits both his character and the Facebook CEO appear to stay out of the sun, but he ain't buying they're dead ringers or long-lost relatives.

Then again ... it's hard to tell if Brent's trolling us here with his answer -- especially because he was definitely trolling our photog on a bunch of things, including the proper pronunciation of Data.

But c'mon, Brent. You're Zuck's role model, admit it!
