The designer who famously professed his love for Hitler REALLY likes his pop stars draped in red -- thus giving the world this monstrosity at the Met Gala in NYC.

Katy Perry went all red everything to the event ... red veil, red shoes, red nail polish ... in an ensemble designed by John Galliano -- you remember him, right?!

He's the guy who famously declared his love for Hitler in Paris back in 2011. He was convicted by a French court in 2011 of the crime of public insults based on religious affiliation. He called a woman "a f***ing ugly Jewish bitch" and said "People like you would be dead today. Your mothers, your forefathers would all be f***ing gassed and f***ing dead."

He's also a super famous big deal in the fashion world.

Anyway, Katy better hope no Crips show up to the event ... could be trouble.

Travis Scott is not responsible for the kid who fell from a 3rd story balcony at his concert ... despite the fact he encouraged people from the 2nd story balcony to jump.

Sources close to Travis tell TMZ ... the rapper never encouraged the teenager to jump into the mosh pit ... a jump that caused serious injuries including a possible broken leg and fractured back.

Travis famously encourages fans to stage dive, but his position is that there's a fundamental difference between the 2nd and 3rd floor balcony. He told fans to form a net before encouraging fans on the 2nd story to leap, but never suggested the 3rd story was safe.

We're told Travis' team is in touch with the kid who hurt himself and are launching a full investigation into what happened ... whether the fan jumped or was pushed.

A rep adds, "The safety of everyone is held in the highest regard and we are currently conducting an internal investigation to ensure that this does not happen again. We are deeply concerned about the guest who was injured and intend to offer him our support."

As we reported, the one thing Travis did offer at the concert was his ring, which we're told the fan accepted.

The Fyre Festival's now notorious sandwich photo was the staff lunch and guests actually got awesome food ... so claim sources connected to festival organizers.

We're told guests were served chicken, pasta, burgers and fries and salad ... not just a gnarly cheese sandwich. As for breakfast ... donuts, waffles and coffee.

People who attended the festival tell us quite a few people were actually staying in villas near the campsite ... the tents were low-end accommodations. And, we're told, the people who rented villas had access to speedboats.

We're also told Billy McFarland vows to return everyone's money, and he's "devastated."

We haven't gotten any word that anyone has received a refund ... so far.

President Trump's weekend attack on the press was not only "venomous," but laughable according to legendary journalist Carl Bernstein ... who thinks POTUS needs to show some gratitude.

The guy who cracked Watergate took aim at Trump's presidency when we saw him Sunday in downtown D.C., the morning after Trump skipped the White House Correspondents' Dinner and ripped the "fake news" coverage of his administration.

Bernstein, who was at the WHCD, believes the prez has it ALL wrong when it comes to the media's job description. He also tells Trump to remember how he even got to the White House.

The beef is officially on the grill.

Chad Johnson was lucky to run into a highway patrol officer who was kind enough to give him a lift when his car blew a tire ... but duty called, and Chad was unceremoniously kicked to the curb.

Chad tells TMZ Sports he was driving home from a football game in Miami when he blew a tire. The former Bengals star didn't have a spare, so the whip had to be towed. An officer offered to take him home, and it actually looked pretty awesome for a while -- Chad in the back seat ... vibing out to Kanye.

But then ... a dispatcher sounded the alarm ... someone committed a 187 -- murder -- and the officer had to book it. So he dropped Chad off at a gas station.

Ja Rule's broken his silence hours after his Fyre Festival was called off following a disastrous start ... and he insists it was NOT a scam.

The rapper said Friday his main priority is "getting everyone [off] the island SAFE" and he'll elaborate on the calamity that unfolded just days before his first ever festival kicked off at the Bahamas this weekend.

Ja Rule also said, "I'm heartbroken ... it was NOT A SCAM as everyone is reporting. I don't know how everything went so left but I'm working to make it right by making sure everyone is refunded."

The rapper went on to say he apologizes but says, "this is NOT MY FAULT," but is taking responsibility.

A U.S. State Department official tells us they're monitoring the situation and "stand ready to provide appropriate consular services to any U.S. citizens in need."

As we reported ... Ja's festival looked more like a refugee camp and ticket holders who paid between $1k to $12k walked into living accommodations which looked like they had been used in previous disaster relief efforts, empty beer stands and "gourmet food" that turned out to be 2 pieces of bread and 2 pieces of cheese.

"The Simpsons" envision Ivanka Trump as a Supreme Court Justice, and Sean Spicer killing himself ... at least in the show's version of Donald Trump's first 100 days in office.

The spoof airs on Sunday's episode, and even the staunchest Trump haters would have to say it's super dark -- Spicer hanging himself in the White House Press Room, Ruth Bader Ginsburg getting 86'd for Ivanka, while hawking robes and the prez himself weeping over ... well, you gotta watch.

Of course, Trump's made no secret of his love for FOX News. Gotta wonder if he'll be watching the mother ship Sunday night.

It was stank on a plane for the Toronto Raptors ... when 7-foot center Jonas Valanciunas blew a fart on the team jet and nearly killed all of his teammates.

Madonna's obsessed fan is ready to take New York City and its cops to court for an alleged beatdown, but he's not down to do so on 9/11 ... out of respect for his fellow firefighters.

Robert Linhart's suing the city, claiming NYPD officers roughed him up while arresting him in 2010 outside Madonna's home. On Tuesday, the court scheduled the trial to start on September 11.

Linhart and his attorney, Pete Gleason, are pissed because they're both retired members of FDNY. Gleason tells TMZ lower Manhattan courts should be closed on 9/11 in remembrance of officers who died responding to the World Trade Center.

They are petitioning the court to move the start date, ASAP.

As we reported ... Linhart was seeking a $5 mil settlement from NYC to make his lawsuit go away. City attorneys balked at that figure.

Demian Bichir says Senator Ted Cruz is outta his damn mind to propose El Chapo's billions fund President Trump's wall.

When we got the Mexican-born actor at LAX Wednesday, we asked him about the senator's proposed bill -- dubbed the El Chapo Act -- which would use his reported $14 billion to pay for the wall.

First off, the former "Weeds" star is clearly NOT a fan of the wall. At all.

#BREAKING ... Doris Roberts died more than a year ago, but it seems some people are just now hearing the news ... and sending SUPER belated condolences.

For some reason ... Doris was trending online Wednesday, and a lot of folks seemed to just now realize the actress had passed away ... linking back to TMZ's exclusive story as evidence.

Doris' 1-year death anniversary was actually last Monday ... so we're not too sure how to explain the delayed reactions. Either these well-wishers have been living under a rock all this time, or ... no, that's the only explanation.

As we reported ... Doris died from a massive stroke at her home in L.A. She'd been suffering from hypertension for years.

Soooo ... RIP, Doris. Again ... still.

The University of Louisiana Lafayette football program is in full meltdown mode right now after THIRTEEN PLAYERS were arrested Tuesday night in an alleged dorm room theft.

Among the 13 arrested are 8 guys who were projected to be STARTERS this season -- including linebacker Joe Dillon -- who was a freshman All-American last year.

The two guys expected to battle it out for the starting RB job -- Jordan Wright and Trey Ragas -- were also included in the bust.

So, what happened?

Officials say the 13 Ragin' Cajuns players went to a dorm room on April 5 and jacked $2,400 worth of stuff belonging to a student. There's apparently VIDEO of the incident.

All 13 players have been charged with criminal conspiracy to commit felony theft. They've been released from custody.

The school issued a statement saying all of the players have been suspended for a violation of team rules.

Serena Williams just confirmed her pregnancy announcement was made by accident ... but was only off by about 5 or 6 days.

The tennis star admitted to the social media flub Tuesday at a TED Talks conference in Vancouver with Gayle King -- where she said she had meant to take the pic in private ... but somehow blasted it out to the world.

Serena told Gayle ... "On social media, you press the wrong button and thirty minutes later I missed four calls and I’m like, ‘That’s weird.’"

Doesn't sound like she regrets the early announcement -- she said she was gonna publicly disclose it a few days later anyway. The news also came on the heels of her rising back to No. 1 in the women's tennis rankings ... which ain't bad for someone who hasn't played since January.

Unfortunately, it wasn't without controversy either. She had to deal with haters like former tennis pro Ilie Nastase, who made a racist comment about her future baby. Serena shut him down like a champ, though.

Scott Baio can count on a can of whoopass if he ever runs into Erin Moran's brother, who wants payback for Scott's comments about Erin's substance abuse.

Tony Moran tore into Scott ... referring to a brief fling Erin and Scott had way back when they were young TV stars. His Tuesday Facebook post got nasty though when he said, "She told me that you were tiny." Then came the not so thinly veiled threat: "Get on your knees and pray you never run into me."

Tony's angry about Scott's radio interview where he took Erin to task for using drugs. At the time, Scott thought that's what killed her, but later learned it was cancer.

Scott told us he wouldn't have been so harsh if he'd known she was battling cancer -- but he stands firm on his view of addiction.

Battle lines are drawn.

Matt Goggin wants justice for his broken golf clubs -- he's just afraid to demand it from United Airlines for fear of getting manhandled a la Dr. David Dao.

The Australian pro golfer's pissed off about 3 of his clubs getting snapped at the head. As he put it ... it's the first time in more than 20 years his gear got destroyed in flight.

Naturally, Goggin was looking to give someone an earful -- if only he had flown a different airline. He tweeted, "I was going to complain but I must admit I'm a little intimidated by @united."

He's obviously referring to the infamous video of Dao getting jacked up.

Lucky for Matt, TaylorMade Golf responded and promised to replace the clubs. As for United? Maybe they've just got bigger fish to fry.

Scott Baio feels terrible for ripping his co-star, Erin Moran, for her drug use and says he never would have done it if he'd known she was battling cancer.

Scott tells TMZ he was wrong to insinuate Erin -- his "Happy Days" and "Joanie Loves Chachi" co-star -- had died from drug-related problems. He went pretty hard on her during a radio interview Monday morning.

He tells us he went to bed Sunday reading reports she'd possibly died of a heroin overdose, and went into the interview with that in mind. He was upset he'd lost Erin to drugs after she wrestled with substance abuse for years.

However, hours after he went off the air ... officials in Indiana announced Erin had likely died from complications of stage 4 cancer. Scott says if he had known, he would've kept his mouth shut.

He tells us Erin never disclosed her diagnosis to him -- even after his wife, Renee, spoke to her just last month. He adds ... Renee has battled cancer herself several times, so losing Erin this way hits close to home.
