Frances McDormand Speech Bleeps a Mistake Globes Didn't Wanna Piss Off FCC!
Frances McDormand's Golden Globes speech was mistakenly bleeped because staff working the show thought for sure she was about to curse ... TMZ has learned.
Sources close to the Globes tell TMZ ... McDormand was bleeped three times during the live broadcast because the production team was on "high-alert" and anticipating swear words that would violate FCC rules. We're told the show errs on the conservative side when it comes to bleeping live award shows because of the family audience.
So, what did you miss? The show ended up censoring words like "Fox Searchlight" and "tectonic shift" ... however you clearly heard Frances say "shite" on the live East coast feed.
When the show was rebroadcast for the West coast, "shite" was bleeped and the 3 other censors were removed.

Bella Hadid If The $850 Ugly Dad Shoe Fits ...
It's not often we wouldn't wanna be in Bella Hadid's shoes, but in this case ... it's true.
Bella was spotted pumping gas Monday in Bev Hills rockin' some "dad" sneakers that are kinda making a comeback right now. They're Balenciaga's Triple S Trainers -- which retail for $850. Apparently, overly expensive and ugly is in right now.
Bella was seen trying on a pair of Triple S Trainers last month in London, which looked similar to what she's got on now. If they are the same kicks, she's definitely putting them to good use.
BTW ... good luck getting your hands on a pair of these puppies. They're all sold out online.

The Weeknd Drops H&M After Racist Ad
The Weeknd is making it VERY clear -- H&M's apology for a racist online ad has fallen on deaf ears -- and he'll never work with them again.
The clothing store came under heavy fire after an ad showed an African-American child wearing a hoodie with the inscription, "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle."
Abel -- who launched his own line with H&M last year -- posted a message about the tasteless ad, saying, "woke up this morning shocked and embarrassed by this photo. i'm deeply offended and will not be working with H&M anymore ..."

H&M BLASTED After Ad Shows Black Kid Wearing 'Coolest Monkey in the Jungle' Hoodie
It's early, but H&M just grabbed the title for MOST OUT OF TOUCH company of 2018 ... after this racist ad popped up on its UK website.
The clothing store was put on blast after this ad showed an African-American child wearing a hoodie with the inscription, "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle."
The ad's been yanked and the company issued an apology, albeit pretty tone-deaf: "We sincerely apologize for offending people with this image of a printed hooded top. This image has been removed from all online channels and the product will not be for sale in the United States."
Some of the outrage included some tweets at the company asking, "How on earth can this be? SHAME ON YOU!" and, "Have you lost your damned minds?!?!?!" Ditto.

Big Baller Brand Gets 'F Rating' from BBB ... Customers Beware!
The BBB is warning consumers about BBB -- the Better Business Bureau tells TMZ Sports the Big Baller Brand is a disaster ... and has earned the lowest possible rating, an F.
Ever since LaVar Ball launched the apparel company, the BBB has been inundated with complaints from customers who either didn't get their orders ... or got the wrong items.
If you're into keeping stats -- how's this: Big Baller has 41 negative reviews and ZERO positive ... with 33 formal complaints on file.
FYI, the Better Business Bureau is a 105-year-old non-profit organization that monitors businesses across the country to help protect consumers.
The BBB reached out to Big Baller Brand twice to help resolve their issues -- but no one at Big Baller ever called them back.
Blair Looney, CEO of Better Bus. Bureau Central CA, tells TMZ Sports consumers should be very careful when considering making a Big Baller purchase.
"This is very definitely substandard normal business practices for anybody."
"As a result of the repeat pattern of complaints, the volume of complaints, Big Baller now has an F rating with the BBB, which is the lowest rating possible in the BBB system."
We reached out to Big Baller for comment -- so far, no word back.

Golden Globes 2018 Everyone Wore Black Except These Folks
The Golden Globes was a sea of black Sunday -- except for some speckles of red and white ... from a few ladies who apparently didn't get the memo.
The only women who appeared not to wear black in solidarity with the Time's Up and #MeToo movement were German fashion model Barbara Meier and actress Blanca Blanco.
Meier rocked a beige floral gown, and Blanco wore a revealing red dress -- reminiscent to her even more revealing outfit from last year's Globes.
They might not immediately stand out as Hollywood heavyweights -- Meier was a winner on "Germany's Next Top Model" ... and Blanco has starred in flicks like "Showgirls 2" and "Bermuda Tentacles."
The Prez of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Meher Tatna, also did not wear black to the show.

MLK Jr.'s Son Dexter King I Forgive Newsweek For Casket Photo
Martin Luther King Jr.'s son is giving Newsweek a pass for publishing the insensitive photo of his father in his casket next to an op-ed piece earlier this week.
We got Dexter King at LAX Thursday and he didn't seem as upset as the Twittersphere and his sister Bernice King, who sounded off on Newsweek.
Even Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul voiced his disdain for the bad choice of photo when we got him at the airport.
Newsweek issued an apology to the King family for using the image and it seems that was enough for Dexter.

'Project Runway' Star Sued You're a Snake ... For Ripping Off My Face (Mask)!
Designer Michael Costello ripped off a makeup artist's face mask and tried slithering away with his own version on the runway ... this according to a new lawsuit.
The "Project Runway" darling from season 8 has been sued by special effects makeup artist Lauren Mountain, who says Costello hijacked her "Under the Skin Human Mask and Snake" face mask concept and used it in a fashion show without her permission.
According to the suit, obtained by TMZ, Lauren says Michael's relative, Stephanie, reached out to her to license Lauren's human skin mask design for a 2015 show she and Mike had planned for NYC Fashion Week.
But instead of paying her for the work, Lauren claims the Costellos recreated her mask on their own and strutted a model across the catwalk. She says they did credit her as the inspiration, but Lauren still isn't satisfied.
She's asking a judge for damages of at least $150,000. Michael's team tells TMZ "LOL," adding the validity of the lawsuit is ridiculous, and that the masks were, in fact, inspired by the '80s TV show "V."

Trump My Name's Synonymous With Shame, Embarrassment
Donald Trump is poison to an actor who's trying to make it in Hollywood -- an actor whose last name is also Trump -- and the guy is pleading with a judge for a name change.
Daniel Thomas Trump is a 32-year-old L.A. actor/filmmaker, and has no relation to Trump. In fact, he says in legal docs, obtained by TMZ, "The name 'Trump' is a shameful embarrassment."
Daniel says he got the surname from his biological father who has never been in his life but, judging from the docs, the real reason for the name change petition is the President. Daniel says, "It's the name of a president who is the living representation of everything I stand against."
Speaking of stands, this might be one big grandstand, because Daniel's been going by the name Daniel Van Thomas for 8 years, so it doesn't sound like he's been burdened with the Trump moniker.
Nonetheless ... he wants to make it official.
Logan Paul Threatened with Lawsuit You're No Maverick ... Just a Moron
Logan Paul hijacked the name of a wholesome, reputable clothing company, and now his repulsive antics are costing the original brand millions ... at least according to the company.
Maverick Apparel fired off a scathing letter to the YouTube star Thursday, demanding he immediately stop selling 'Maverick by Logan Paul' gear ... even if he did name it after his pet parrot, as Paul claims.
In the letter, the company dismisses Paul as "a vlogger catering to his evident lowest common denominator narcissism and who champions his scrotal injuries as a badge of pride." Maverick added his "abhorrent and mutton-headed conduct" is harming Maverick Apparel's reputation, goodwill and sales.
Maverick Apparel cites Logan's recent posting of a video of a dead body as just the latest example of Paul tarnishing the brand's good name. All in all the company claims he's already cost them $4 million.
It says Paul's name is "synonymous with racist, anti-Asian, and homophobic sentiments, and most recently, a belligerent insensitivity to suicide" ... and clearly -- it wants nothing to do with him.
Maverick Apparel's threatening legal action if Logan doesn't comply within 7 days. We reached out to him ... no word back yet.

Logan Paul Keeps Lead Role in New Horror Flick ... For Now, Anyway
Logan Paul's suicide video doesn't seem to have affected his side hustle as the lead in an upcoming horror movie ... at least not yet.
Logan's the centerpiece of writer Jeffrey Reddick's new fright flick, "Superstition: The Rule of 3's." Production sources tell us he hasn't been axed in the wake of controversy ... you'll recall Logan broke into momentary laughter in the video after he spotted a man hanging from a tree.
Doug Falconer -- CEO of Falconer Productions, which is producing 'Superstition' -- confirms with TMZ ... there have been no talks to recast Logan.
But here's the rub. Falconer hadn't even heard about the uproar and said he wanted to talk to the other producers. We're guessing word must have gotten around to at least some of the producers by now, which makes it all the more curious no one gave Falconer a heads-up.
Short story ... it's not case closed, yet.

Bill Maher Anything Al Can Do, I Can Do Better ... Or, Is That Worse?
Bill Maher couldn't contain himself, or his hands, and decided to mock Al Franken's infamous mid-air groping photo. LOL?
Maher was flying private with Bob Saget when he snapped the shot reaching out for Saget's man boobs. No doubt he nailed the pic, it's a dead-on recreation of Franken pretending to grope a sleeping Leeann Tweeden in 2006 -- the photo that eventually forced the Senator to resign.
Here's the thing ... most would say Franken's fair game -- but would Leeann laugh it off? Maher's catching some flak for the photo, which he had to expect.
But with this coming directly on the heels of Dave Chappelle's jokes about Kevin Spacey and Louis C.K.'s victims -- seems like comedians are no longer saying "too soon."

Colin Farrell Bummer Ending To Hot Lunch Date
Colin Farrell's lunch date went from good to bad ... to downright ugly in just a matter of minutes.
Colin and his rumored GF, Kelly McNamara, grubbed in L.A. Wednesday. That's the good for Colin -- she's a catch -- but the look on Colin's face as they walked to his car says it all. They were greeted by a parking ticket ... and even ran into the cop who dropped it on them.
Looks like the officer pointed out the parking sign. For next time.
There goes the $63 that woulda fixed the tear on that shirt.
