Matthew Perry getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame -- in the same area as Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston -- is a real possibility ... if that's what his family wants.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which oversees the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame, tells TMZ ... they would love to honor the late actor with a star and posthumous ceremony, but it's up to his family to decide if and when that would happen.

We're told Matthew was previously selected for a WOF star back in 2013 after being submitted by his PR firm, but a ceremony was never scheduled and in 2018 the award expired.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is confident it could renew the award for Matthew, and it would just have to be approved by the chair of the selection committee. Chamber officials tell us that would be a slam dunk.

So far, we're told no one from Matthew's family has reached out to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce about scheduling a star ceremony ... but that's understandable, given the situation.

TMZ broke the story ... Matthew was found unresponsive in his jacuzzi last month and pronounced dead.

Should Matthew's fam ultimately decide on getting him a WOF star, we're told a family member would have to accept the star on his behalf and the fam would be in charge of inviting guests to a potential ceremony, with a guest list between 60 and 90 people.

There's also a $75,000 sponsorship fee, which accounts for the WOF star and ceremony, but we're told the money could be put up by a studio, family member or friends ... as long as Matthew's family is on board.

Matt LeBlanc looks as downcast as you'd expect less than a week after losing his beloved "Friends" costar Matthew Perry.

LeBlanc ventured out Thursday afternoon in Sherman Oaks, CA ... driving in his Mercedes-Benz SUV. It's the first time we've seen him in public since Matthew died over last Saturday.

Matt's wearing dark sunglasses and a baseball cap, and looks pretty sad ... a reflection of the emotions he and his former cast mates expressed earlier this week.

Remember, ML and the rest of the tightknit "Friends" stars have said they are "utterly devastated," and are still processing the fact they've lost Matthew.

In their statement, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt said ... "We were more than just cast mates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."

They added, "For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."

TMZ broke the story ... Matthew was found unresponsive in his hot tub, after he'd played 2 hours of pickleball on Saturday morning. Sources say there were no illicit drugs found at his home, though there were several Rx medications including anti-depressants and anxiety meds.

As we first told you, Matthew went out to lunch with model and entertainment reporter Athenna Crosby the day before he died, and she says he was happy and vibrant.

Matthew's full toxicology report could take up to 6 months to complete, though initial testing revealed he didn't have meth or fentanyl in his system.

Alan Ruck is thankful to escape his scary car crash without so much as a scratch on him ... and he's giving credit to a higher power no one else was killed in the accident.

The "Succession" star was spotted leaving a convenience store Thursday in Los Angeles when he was asked how he was doing after Tuesday's crash when he smashed his Rivian truck into a Hollywood pizza place.

Alan was limping with a sleeve over his left knee, but he says it's just a sign of his old age and not related to the crash. The actor says he's fine and thanks God no one was killed in the incident.

As for the online chatter ... Alan's well-aware folks are comparing the truck crash to his famous Ferrari crash scene in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off."

TMZ broke the story ... Alan crashed into Raffallo's Pizza at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard in an incident that is now under police investigation.

Video shows Alan's truck lodged into the side of the brick building ... and surveillance appears to show his Rivian colliding with another vehicle from behind before flying through the intersection and crashing.

Our sources told us two people were injured in the crash, but they were both breathing and conscious and are expected to be OK.

Alan's not letting the car crash stop him from getting behind the wheel ... after talking to photogs, he drove off in a Nissan.

In a statement to TMZ, Spitzer says ... "Driving under the influence must have consequences. When a judge gives someone who not only drove with a blood alcohol level of .24 - three times the legal limit - but then ran away from the scene of an DUI collision a slap on the wrist, you are sending a message that DUIs are not serious crimes that demand accountability."

Spitzer adds ... "Judge London clearly felt otherwise and not only gave her a court offer, but dismissed the hit and run charge in the interest of justice. This is not justice. We as a society need to wake up and address the very real - and often deadly - consequences of driving under the influence."

Shannon Beador will avoid jail time in her DUI case ... because a judge just sentenced her to 3 years of probation.

The 'RHOC' star learned her fate Thursday, and was sentenced to 36 months informal probation, fines and fees, plus 40 hours community service and a 9-month alcohol program.

Shannon did not show face in the Orange County courtroom, instead having her attorney appear on her behalf to enter her plea of no contest to one count DUI and one count driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more.

The judge dismissed one count of hit-and-run with property damage.

In new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Orange County D.A. Todd Spitzer tried to convince the judge to give Shannon a harsher sentence -- he wanted her to also serve 30 days in jail, but the judge ruled otherwise.

TMZ broke the story ... Shannon was arrested in September after slamming her car into a Newport Beach home, with surveillance footage showing her car zipping through a residential area before her crash.

In the docs, the D.A. says she had a .24% BAC after the crash ... and she suffered a fractured left wrist, plus cuts and bruising to her left eye. Shannon's since paid for the property damage.

BTW ... Shannon's still set to appear at BravoCon this weekend in Vegas.

There's a wild conspiracy theory floating around that Matthew Perry's recent "Mattman" posts before his death were a cry for help ... but the woman he dined with the day before he passed says that theory couldn't be further from the truth.

Athenna Crosby, the mystery brunette spotted grabbing a meal with Matthew before he died, tells TMZ ... the "Friends" star was really into Batman -- even calling himself "Mattman" and his ride the Batmobile.

She says he was a playful guy in the months that she knew him ... and the conspiracy theory he was pushing subliminal messages about his safety by using the superhero reference is way off.

Athenna playfully chalks the "Mattman" posts up to Perry being a nerd and says fans jumping on the conspiracy train are definitely getting carried away.

As we reported, the 25-year-old model and entertainment reporter grabbed a bite to eat with Matthew last Friday at the Hotel Bel-Air ... and said she was devastated to learn of his death just a day after seeing him.

Athenna doubles down on what we've been told already -- the actor was extremely optimistic and in great spirits leading up to his death ... and he even had projects lined up.

In fact, Athenna tells us there's been a lot of speculation surrounding Matthew's death in the days since he passed away ... and while she can only speak from her experience, she's certain his untimely death was a tragic accident.

The SKIMS CEO made the shocking claim as she sat on a couch with sis Kourtney in the latest episode of "The Kardashians," which aired Wednesday on Hulu.

Kim revealed North visits Kanye at his humble abode and their 10-year-old thinks her dad's just the best and has it "all figured out."

Sources close to Ramona tell TMZ ... she's upset she's embroiled in claims of bigotry and racism -- especially because the 'RHONY' production company investigated the allegations 2 years ago, and gave her the all-clear to continue working on various reality TV projects.

We're told she also believes the whole affair's been blown way out of proportion ... referring to this week's Vanity Fair report, which alleged Ramona used a racial slur in conversation with a Black crew member during season 13.

We should point out, multiple sources told us in 2021, Ramona was cleared following a third-party investigation because nothing was found to corroborate Eboni's claims.

Our sources are adamant Ramona never used a racial word during season 13 and she is not racist in any capacity.

The VF piece also featured an interview with Eboni, the show's first woman of color to become a full castmate in its 13-season run.

She claimed Singer had asked why "most" Black people didn't have fathers in their lives during a training call, ironically, centered on racial insensitivity.

Eboni claims Ramona said, "What if they don't have a father? Why can't I say that? Most of them don't." Mind you, she allegedly spoke those words to 2 racial justice representatives, a Bravo publicist and an NBCUniversal communications expert.

Despite the allegations, our sources say Ramona's insisting she always liked Eboni and wishes her nothing but the best.

She is also still friendly with Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley -- as well as all the other ladies featured on the show with her. However, due to fallout from the controversy, she hasn't seen them as often.

She's also been pulled from the upcoming BravoCon in Vegas, after digging a deeper hole for herself while talking to Page Six to refute the VF report allegations.

Alan Ruck might want to consider delivery next time he's got a hankering for pizza ... ramming his truck into the side of a pie joint in a 4-way crash in Hollywood.

Law enforcement sources say the crash occurred around 9 PM Tuesday at Raffalo's Pizza at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard. Video shows the actor's Rivian with about half of the cab lodged into the side of the brick building.

Our sources say two people were injured in the crash, but both were conscious and breathing ... so they're likely to be OK. Thankfully, no pedestrians were struck in the accident. We're also told there's no indication of DUI.

Alan stuck around after the crash, seen out of the truck and talking on his cellphone while others assessed the damage.

As for how the crash happened, surveillance appears to show Alan's truck collide with another vehicle from behind, pushing it into the intersection as Alan's truck smashes into the building.

Of course, the crash scene drew a crowd, with many taking pictures and videos of the vehicle ... certainly not a help to the flow of traffic in Hollywood.

The woman Matthew Perry was last seen with out in public has been identified ... and she says the late actor was in good spirits during their talk the day before he passed away.

Athenna Crosby, a 25-year-old model and entertainment reporter, has come forward as the mystery brunette Matthew went out with last Friday at the Hotel Bel-Air ... revealing she "had the honor of knowing Matthew personally."

Athenna writes, "I am so devastated from his death but felt it was in poor taste to talk about it publicly as the attention should not be on me but rather on him and his legacy and he was an extremely private person and I always respected that in our friendship."

She says Matthew was in "extremely good spirits" when they dined together -- adding he talked with her "enthusiastically about the things that he had coming up in his life. He was so happy and vibrant."

While some may speculate this date was romantic, Athenna assures us it wasn't ... telling TMZ they were just friends and met through a mutual friend a few months ago.

She also tells us Matthew was very positive during their chat ... excited about losing weight and looking forward to heading to the pickleball court on Saturday. As you know, he was found unresponsive in his jacuzzi after spending hours at the court.

BTW, Athenna shared a look at the signed copy she has of Matthew's memoir, 'Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing' -- in which he called her "the number 1 girl."

Courteney Cox was spotted out for the first time since losing her "Friends" costar, Matthew Perry ... appearing downcast while leaving dinner with her boyfriend and some pals.

LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division is investigating Matthew's death, despite there being no evidence of foul play ... but the LAPD told us it's common for detectives to take the lead on high-profile cases like this.

More details have emerged surrounding the sudden death of "General Hospital" star Tyler Christopher ... it was a friend who discovered the actor dead inside his home.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ officers responded to Christopher's apartment in San Diego Tuesday morning around 9:30. We're told a friend went to check in on Tyler after being unable to get in touch.

Our sources say the friend was able to gain access to Tyler's locked apartment with a key they had been previously given by the actor.

Once inside, we're told the friend discovered Tyler deceased in his bedroom and called 911. Our sources said it appeared he had been dead for some time.

As we reported, Tyler's "General Hospital" costar, Maurice Bernard, broke the news of the actor's death, writing, "a truly talented individual that lit up the screen in every scene he performed and relished bringing joy to his loyal fans through his acting."

Maurice added, "Tyler was a sweet soul and wonderful friend to all of those who knew him. Tyler was an advocate for better mental health and substance use treatment who openly spoke about his struggles with bipolar depression and alcohol."

Tyler was most known for his work on "General Hospital" -- appearing in 1,153 episodes from 1996 to 2016 -- and for his role as Stefan DiMera on "Days of our Lives."

Matthew Perry's death was not the effect of a fentanyl or meth overdose, at least that's what initial tests indicate ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ investigators ran a less-in-depth test on Perry which revealed he did not have fentanyl or meth in his system. However, it's important to note, more in-depth tests are still being conducted as part of toxicology to analyze whether any other illegal drugs present in his blood -- and if the levels of any prescription meds were at harmful doses.

Those results will likely take anywhere from 4-6 months to be returned, and once all that data is gathered, the coroner will determine the cause and manner of death.

As we first reported, the prescription drugs found in Matthew's house were all prescribed to the actor for his various ailments, and stored in proper bottles.

If something illicit were to come back in his autopsy results, LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division would continue to investigate.

RHD's involvement initially had people scratching their heads, especially as there's currently NO evidence of foul play ... however, it's common for detectives from that division to take the lead on high-profile cases because of its experience and dedicated manpower.

As TMZ first reported, Matthew was found unresponsive in his hot tub Saturday at his home in the Pacific Palisades after playing pickleball for a couple hours earlier that day at Riviera Country Club.

While it appears he died from drowning, the Coroner will have the official word, once all the testing is complete.

The soap star died Tuesday morning in his San Diego apartment, the result of a "cardiac event" ... according to his 'GH' costar Maurice Bernard.

Tyler's being remembered by Maurice as "a truly talented individual that lit up the screen in every scene he performed and relished bringing joy to his loyal fans through his acting."

Maurice continues ... "Tyler was a sweet soul and wonderful friend to all of those who knew him. Tyler was an advocate for better mental health and substance use treatment who openly spoke about his struggles with bipolar depression and alcohol."

Tyler famously played Nikolas Cassadine and Connor Bishop on "General Hospital" ... appearing in 1,153 episodes from 1996 to 2016.

In addition to his longstanding role on 'GH,' Tyler also played Stefan DiMera on "Days of Lives" ... appearing in 160 episodes from 2001 to 2019.

Tyler was 50.

Matthew Perry was out and about the day before he died -- doing lunch with a woman, and looked to be in good spirits ... true to what people close to him have told us about his final weeks.

TMZ obtained these photos of the "Friends" star dining out Friday afternoon at the Hotel Bel-Air ... where he shared a table with a mystery brunette.

Folks there say Matthew and his guest were seated at the table for over an hour and left together.

In the photos, Matthew is chatting her up and we're told the actor was so engaged in conversation with her, he barely touched his drink or food.

The photos were snapped Oct. 27 around 2:30 PM ... and, sadly, by the following afternoon, Matthew was dead. As we first reported, his assistant called 911 around 4 PM after finding the actor unresponsive in his hot tub.

As we first reported ... LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division is investigating the death, not because foul play is suspected, but because it's such a high-profile case.

People close to Matthew have told us "he was never happier" than he'd been recently -- full of energy, and ready to jump back into work ... having committed to act in a movie, and developing TV series ideas.

No word on who the woman in the photos is, but she might very well have been the last person to break bread with Matthew.

Remember ... the "Friends" star was found unresponsive in his jacuzzi Saturday at his home in the Pacific Palisades, after playing pickleball for a few hours earlier in the day at Riviera Country Club.

Law enforcement searched Matthew's home and did not find any illicit drugs -- he's been open about struggles with substance abuse in the past -- and the L.A. County Coroner has yet to determine an official cause of death, with toxicology results expected to take at least 6 weeks.

LAPD says the official cause of death will be determined by the autopsy results ... and if there is something nefarious that comes back, RHD will take the reins.

Over the years, LAPD's RHD has investigated some of the most famous cases in the city ... including the Michael Jackson death, which was ultimately ruled a homicide.
