Ex-USC quarterback Todd Marinovich is back in jail after getting arrested twice in 4 days in March.

48-year-old Marinovich -- who has a long history of substance abuse -- was arrested on March 19 (he was released the same day) AND March 23. According to jail records, he's still behind bars.

It's unclear why Marinovich was arrested ... however, in March '17, the former star QB was sentenced to a year probation for an August '16 incident where TM was caught wandering naked in a random person's backyard -- with meth and weed in his possession.

As we reported, Marinovich sought help ... and seemed to be sober and doing well.

In fact, when we spoke with Todd back in April 2017, he told us he was fighting like hell to stay clean for the sake of his kids.

"I've been running [from my addiction] for years and it definitely came a time, especially after the arrest, the humiliation that that brought, the self-loathing that I was feeling, where I was finally willing to do the things necessary to get better."

Winnie Mandela, South Africa's first black First Lady, has died at the age of 81.

Winnie married Nelson Mandela in 1958, and was with him when he became President in 1994. They divorced though in 1996 ... while he was still in office.

On her own, she was very active politically. She was once President of the African National Congress Women's League.

Winnie had reportedly been very ill for years now, and was recently admitted to a hospital with a kidney infection. Her personal assistant announced her passing.

While Nelson was imprisoned, Winnie continued his political work and gained popularity as the "Mother of the Nation."

She became an international symbol of resistance to apartheid. Her outspoken resistance to police harassment and apartheid led to her own imprisonment on and off starting in 1969. Her radical ideas and scandals made her a controversial, yet influential figure even after her divorce from Nelson.

The split was super messy -- even by Hollywood standards. He claimed he'd been cuckolded by Winnie -- who famously cheated while he was in prison for 27 years -- and called her a spendthrift.

UFC star Max Holloway is stepping in to fight arguably the scariest dude on planet, Khabib Nurmagomedov, on 6 DAYS NOTICE ... and he's somehow super chill about it!

Max got interviewed at the airport on his way outta Hawaii ... and made it clear that he's pumped to be the late replacement for Tony Ferguson at UFC 223.

"They called the right guy. I'm here. 6 days notice. April 7th. It's gonna be a great night," Max told KHON's Rob DeMello.

As for his thoughts on Khabib, a 25-0 fighter who used to WRESTLE BEARS as a child -- "Animal. Animal."

Josh Rosen could "set the world on fire" if NFL coaches can figure out how to properly deal with the fact he's a "millennial" ... so says his ex-UCLA coach, Jim Mora.

“He needs to be challenged intellectually so he doesn’t get bored," Mora told the MMQB ... "He’s a millennial."

So, what does that mean for the 21-year-old? Mora explains ...

"He wants to know why. Millennials, once they know why, they’re good."

"Josh has a lot of interests in life. If you can hold his concentration level and focus only on football for a few years, he will set the world on fire. He has so much ability, and he’s a really good kid."

Don't get it twisted ... Mora says Rosen's a stud -- but says teams can't ignore the millennial thing.

Richard Branson can finally get some free room service in Vegas ... he just bought the legendary Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The billionaire announced the deal Friday at the hotel ... which he plans to rebrand as The Virgin Hotel Las Vegas. The hotel will remain open as it undergoes renovations ... it's expected to be completed in 2019.

The deal included other partners ... including the LA-based Juniper Capital Partners. It's unclear how much Branson dropped to add a second hotel to his portfolio. The only other Virgin hotel is in Chicago.

Here's hoping Branson knows what he's gotten into ... the Hard Rock Hotel's seen a lot in its 23 years of existence. Especially some brawls.

Stacey Dash is waiving the white flag in her bid to become a member of Congress, saying she doesn't want to be a part of "Plantation Politics."

Dash, who was running for a seat in the Compton/Watts area, hung her decision on God, saying, "After much prayer, introspection and discussions with my family, I am withdrawing my candidacy for California's 44th Congressional District."

Dash went on to say, "I believe we live under a system of 'Plantation Politics,' which offers people on the lower end of the economic spectrum little more than symbolic gestures instead of true political empowerment and improvement."

She says the "overall bitterness surrounding our political process" would be detrimental to the health and well-being of her family.

The decision has got to be good news for the Compton Mayor Aja Brown, who is running against incumbant congresswoman Nanette Barragan.

Fabolous flew into such a rage at Emily B, the mother of his 2 kids, that he punched her 7 times and also threatened to shoot her, as well as her family members ... according to law enforcement sources.

TMZ broke the story ... Fabolous surrendered to police Wednesday night and was booked for aggravated assault and terroristic threats. Emily told police things have been heated with the rapper since early March, when they had an argument in L.A.

She claimed he later sent her a text saying he wanted to hit her in the head with a baseball bat, and would kill her ... but he "did not want to go out like that." Emily claims instead ... Fabolous repeatedly punched her in the face, and knocked out her 2 front teeth.

Emily says she feared for her life, and remembered Fabolous has 2 handguns in their home in Englewood, NJ -- so, she called her father to remove them before Fab got home. She told cops ... Fabolous was infuriated when he arrived at the house to find her father and brother there, and went to look for his guns.

She claims he stormed out of the house, and told her and family "he had a bullet for them."

Buffalo Bills receiver Zay Jones says he's thankful to see his 23rd birthday ... breaking his silence after his naked, bloody arrest last week.

We broke the story ... Jones was arrested for felony vandalism after a bizarre, nude altercation with his brother at an L.A. apartment. We're told Cayleb -- a Minnesota Vikings player -- was fighting to keep him from jumping out of a hole he kicked out a 30th floor window.

Zay is finally speaking out for the first time since the incident -- on his 23rd birthday -- saying "thankful to be alive. thankful for another year. more life."

There has been an outpour of support for Jones since the arrest -- from Bills coach Sean McDermott to Johnny Manziel.

Zay won't face criminal charges from the incident after his family agreed to cover the cost for repairs ... but the league is still investigating.

Rihanna's "Bitch Better Have My Money" is now the battle cry for Howard University students protesting the school's massive financial aid scandal ... and Thursday it was blaring on campus.

A crowd of students stormed the school's administration building and chanted RiRi's lyrics -- a not-so tongue-in-cheek response to the school firing 6 employees for misappropriating more than $1 million intended for low-income students.

The university's president, Wayne Fredrick, released a statement Wednesday saying the school found out about the allegations back in December 2016, investigated the matter and then fired the alleged thieves last year.

Students on campus only got the news this week when a whistleblower blogged about it -- and they're, understandably, pissed. We suspect Howard has a new unofficial fight song.

Aldon Smith just missed his day in court for violating a protective order stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident with his fiancee ... and there's a bench warrant out for his arrest.

We broke the story ... the troubled NFL star was arrested and charged with 4 misdemeanors -- including domestic violence -- after allegedly beating up his fiancee on March 3.

At the time of the incident, a protective order was issued to prevent Smith from having any contact with his accuser ... which he allegedly violated before turning himself in last Friday.

Smith was scheduled to be in a San Francisco courtroom today ... but he didn't show.

His attorney argues that Aldon never missed a court date before ... and told him he planned to be present.

David Hogg is basically telling Fox News host Laura Ingraham to take her apology and shove it ... or, at the very least, make it more sincere.

The Parkland, FL teen just fired back at Ingraham saying she's sorry for calling Hogg a whiner over his college rejections. Hogg thinks her mea culpa was done merely "to save your advertisers" ... and it's not good enough for him.

Hogg says, "I will only accept your apology only if you denounce the way your network has treated my friends and I in this fight."

The father of a Marjory Stoneman Douglas student who was killed was first to blast Ingraham for her apology, and David co-signed.

Donald Trump is still knee-deep in the TV ratings game -- even as President of the United States -- as Roseanne Barr can attest ... 'cause he called to congratulate her on her 18 million viewers.

Trump confirmed the phone call Thursday, during an event in Ohio, and it sounds like he was more excited about it than even Roseanne and ABC execs -- because he's kinda taking credit for her big win.

He definitely knows his demographics, and told the audience of factory workers "Roseanne" was "about us." On the show, Roseanne voted for Trump ... and butts heads with her sister who supported Hillary.

Janice Dickinson is suing Ryan Seacrest's production company, claiming a storyline on "Shahs of Sunset" that she stole a romper from GG was manufactured and just plain false.

Janice's beef is over an episode where Janice was backstage at a runway show when GG eyed the romper Janice was wearing and then turned to Erik Rosette, a fashion designer, and said, "What's going on with that outfit?" The guy responded, "You got jacked."

According to the suit, GG showed feigned outraged and portrayed Janice as "an arrogant, unprofessional and purportedly past-her-prime celebrity."

Janice says the truth is that she was completely unaware the romper had been selected by anyone else. She says Rosette was talking to made-up his story to create controversy.

Laura Ingraham's show is taking a hit for her going after Parkland leader David Hogg ... TMZ has learned.

The FOX News host has lost the backing of TripAdvisor, a key advertiser on her show. The move comes on the heels of what some feel was Ingraham cyberbullying 17-year-old Hogg. A TridAdvisor rep tells us ... it doesn't condone her inappropriate comments, adding, "In our view, these statements focused on a high school student, cross the line of decency."

In the more bad news department, for Ingraham ... the pet food line Nutrish, owned by Rachael Ray, also announced Thursday it's pulling ads from her show.

As we reported ... Hogg called for a boycott of Ingraham on the heels of the anchor tweeting Hogg whined about getting rejected by 4 colleges, and called out specific companies like TripAdvisor, AT&T and Hulu asking why they support cyberbullying.

For the record -- Hogg was not whining.

7:10 PM PT -- More companies have announced they're pulling ads from Ingraham's show, including Johnson & Johnson, Stitch Fix, Hulu, Joseph A. Banks, Wayfair, Nestle and Expedia.

10:20 AM PT -- Laura's now apologizing for "any upset or hurt my tweet caused [David] or any of the brave victims of Parkland."
