Sen. Rand Paul Sues Neighbor Who Assaulted Him

Published | Updated

Sen. Rand Paul is suing the neighbor who pummeled him outside his own home.

The Kentucky Senator is suing Rene Boucher for physical pain and mental suffering after Boucher tackled him from behind during a heated argument back in November 2017. Cops later determined Boucher did it on purpose and arrested him. He was charged with one count of fourth-degree assault.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, Paul calls Boucher's actions cruel, malicious, willful, wanton with total disregard for his rights, life and liberties. The fight stemmed from Paul stacking yard debris near a shared property line. According to the docs, Boucher pled guilty to felony charges and got 30 days in jail with a $10k fine.

As we reported, Paul suffered 5 broken ribs from the attack. He's suing for compensatory and punitive damages, and wants the court to keep Boucher away from him.

BROING OUT

James Harden celebrated like a boss after winning league MVP at the NBA awards in L.A. on Monday -- hanging out with Meek Mill ... and TMZ Sports has the video.

The Houston Rockets star hit up Avenue nightclub where everyone wanted to rub elbows with HIM -- including Meek.

Of course, the catch is that Meek is still on probation stemming from his old drugs and guns case (pending a decision about getting a new trial) and can't travel outside of Pennsylvania without alerting his probation officer.

Under the terms of his probation, Meek IS allowed to leave the state for work purposes -- and, since he performed at the BET Awards in L.A. on Sunday night, we're guessing it was easy approval process.

Meek is a huge Philadelphia 76ers fan -- especially since he's tight with the owner who essentially sprung him from prison -- but there's no harm in hanging with the MVP, right?

Our sources said she planned to voluntarily check herself in for treatment. It appears she did not go voluntarily, after all ... but we're told she is getting treatment now.

This all comes on the heels of Heather being placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold last week. Family members made a nearly identical 911 call to report Heather was drunk and attacking her parents.

Stone Temple Pilots' Dean DeLeo Wife Files for Divorce ... Claims He's Violent Alcoholic

Published | Updated

Dean DeLeo -- guitarist for the rock band, Stone Temple Pilots -- is heading for divorce ... and his wife claims he's an abusive, drunken mess who makes her fear for the lives of her and their daughter.

According to the legal docs ... Jenn DeLeo filed for divorce a couple weeks ago, just days after he made violent threats to her, admitted he was cheating and told her to get out of the house ... and did it in front of their 6-year-old daughter, June.

Jenn claims Dean's scary behavior started in 2012, shortly after they were married and she gave birth to June. She says he started abusing alcohol and drugs, and once took their baby into the ocean "while he was completely inebriated" ... nearly letting her drown.

According to the docs, Jenn says Dean physically assaulted her months later after another drinking binge when she found him in the garage passed out with the car running and the garage door closed. She claims when she woke him he got angry, vomited, then threw her around and almost killed her. She says he's attempted to strangle her several times over the years.

Jenn also accuses Dean of abusing his son from a previous marriage and telling her he could have his ex-wife killed ... which makes her constantly live in fear. Jenn claims Dean's temper is so out of control, she and June always walk on eggshells. And, she says he's threatened suicide if she leaves him ... saying she'll find him hanging like their personal friend, Chester Bennington.

Dean allegedly assaulted Jenn once again before Thanksgiving 2017 when she confronted him about his extramarital affairs. Jenn says she was going to press charges but changed her mind to avoid ruining the holiday ... but now wishes she had.

Interesting note -- Jenn is one of James Toback's sexual misconduct accusers, and says the #MeToo movement finally empowered her to file for divorce. She's seeking custody and child/spousal support, too.

We reached out to Dean ... no word back so far.

NOT A GREAT LOOK

Lawrence Taylor says he's not ready to condemn Jameis Winston for the Uber incident that led to his suspension ... but tells TMZ Sports the QB should've NEVER put himself in that spot.

Winston has been suspended by the NFL for three games after the NFL did an investigation into allegations that he groped an Uber driver back in 2016.

LT had his fair share of off-the-field turmoil during his playing days ... so, when we talked with him out in Georgia he stopped short at condemning Winston, but still had words for the youngster.

"Especially with the problems he's had you'd think he'd make better judgements than that."

FYI -- Winston's problems include a sexual assault allegation, and two shoplifting incidents before this latest situation.

Still ... LT has his own opinions about the accuser's motives, saying, you can't rule out someone that might be looking for quick fame and a quick buck.

"I just hope it's not a situation where someone wants to be in this #MeToo genre."

Check it out ... what happens next was life imitating art. Hence, this 'Revenge of the Nerds 2' clip, which is EXACTLY what crossed the cop's mind after Michael finally finished. INSANE.

We broke the story ... Michael was arrested in Miami after the car he was driving in smashed into a police car, badly injuring the cops, one of whom was so badly injured he was airlifted to a hospital.

Blue Jays Pitcher Roberto Osuna Suspended for Dom. Violence Incident

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Roberto Osuna has been suspended for 75 GAMES without pay by MLB for violating the league's domestic violence policy stemming from a May 8 incident.

Osuna was arrested for assault in Toronto after allegedly roughing up his girlfriend -- but officials have been tight-lipped about the details surrounding the incident.

MLB launched its own investigation and concluded 23-year-old Osuna -- a 2017 All-Star -- violated the league's Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy.

The 75-game suspension is retroactive to May 8 -- he has not played in a game since the incident.

He'll be eligible to return on August 4. He'll miss out on roughly $2.7 million in salary -- $35k per game.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred says, "My office has completed its investigation into the allegation that Roberto Osuna violated Major League Baseball’s Joint Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy on May 8, 2018."

"Having reviewed all of the available evidence, I have concluded that Mr. Osuna violated the Policy and should be subject to discipline in the form of an unpaid suspension that will expire on August 4th."

Osuna says he will not appeal the suspension.

As for his criminal case, he's due back in court July 9.

Ex-Texans Cheerleader I Was Body Shamed, Called 'Skinny Fat'

Published | Updated

A former Houston Texans cheerleader has lawyered up -- with Gloria Allred -- to sue the team after claiming she was treated like a bad sorority pledge ... all because she was considered "skinny fat."

The woman -- Angelina Rosa -- says the Houston Texans cheerleading staffers cornered her before a 2017 game and forcibly duct taped parts of her body to make her body appear tighter.

The woman claims the entire experience was "painful" and humiliating, and now she's out for legal revenge.

"I stand here today to make sure no other girl or woman has to endure the same humiliation."

Rosa claims she was so emotionally scarred, she developed an eating disorder.

She's being added to the lawsuit that Allred has already filed on behalf of 5 other Houston Texans who have gripes with the team.

Tekashi69 UK Immigration Lied to Keep Me Out

Published | Updated

Tekashi69 believes UK customs agents refused him entry into the country because of his recent rap beefs ... and concocted lies about his criminal past just to keep him out.

6ix9ine was set to play 2 sold-out shows this week -- one in London, and another in Manchester. We're told the rapper was held at immigration Thursday for 12 hours after arriving from Belgium.

Sources close to 6ix9ine tell us customs agents repeatedly told the rapper they flagged him because he spent more than 12 months behind bars ... a buzz kill for foreigners who want to enter the country. Our sources say, not only has Tekashi never spent anywhere near 12 months behind bars, his team worked months in advance to insure he had all the proper paperwork and sponsors for entry.

Not only were the UK shows sold out, we're told they were also big time business opportunities for Tekashi as he planned on livestreaming them for fans on Xstreampass.

Our sources say Tekashi and crew feel the real reason they were refused entry is because of Tekashi's recent antics, including his feud with Chief Keef, and they've made stuff up to illegally bar him.

Warner Bros. Sued Your 'Westworld' Game's a Rip-Off!!!

Published | Updated

Warner Bros. got in bed with a tech company that jacked codes in order to fast-track and produce its "Westworld" mobile app ... so claims another company in a new lawsuit.

The gaming company, Bethesda Softworks, is suing the media giant and Behaviour Interactive and, in the suit, says Behaviour stole its designs, artwork and codes ... and used them in the "Westworld" game.

In docs, obtained by TMZ, Bethesda says it hired Behaviour first, in 2014, to work on its popular mobile app game, "Fallout Shelter." Later, after "Westworld" premiered in 2016 ... Behaviour went on to create the "Westworld" game for Warner Bros.

Bethesda's issue, according to the suit, is that Behaviour used its "Fallout Shelter" coding for the "Westworld" game. And, Bethesda believes there's a smoking gun -- the same bugs that appeared in an earlier version of 'Fallout' also showed up in the "Westworld" game.

Bethesda is suing to get the game shut down and to get a slice of the profits. We've reached out to Warner Bros. and Behaviour ... so far, no word back.

Jameis Winston To Be Suspended For Allegedly Sexually Assaulting Uber Driver

Published | Updated

Tampa Bay Bucs QB Jameis Winston is expected to be suspended for 3 games by the NFL over an incident in which he allegedly grabbed a female Uber driver's crotch, according to ESPN.

As we previously reported, Winston has DENIED sexually assaulting the woman during a boozy ride in Scottsdale, Arizona in March 2016.

But the alleged victim is adamant Winston "reached over and put his fingers on my crotch. It wasn't accidental."

The NFL investigated the allegation and, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter -- the league will notify Winston on Friday that he will be hit with the 3-game suspension for a violation of the league's personal conduct policy.

ESPN says there's a chance the league could change the plan and alter the length of the suspension before it is officially handed out on Friday ... but it seems unlikely.

If carried through, Winston would only lose about $124k in base salary due to the way his contract is structured.

'Revenge of the Nerds' Star Allegedly Attacked Wife Before Death

Published | Updated

The estate of Bernie Casey -- a former NFL-star-turned actor -- is being sued by a woman claiming to be his widow, who alleges the 78-year-old violently tackled her to the ground just 1 week before his death.

The woman behind the suit is Cheryl Castillo -- who claims she and Bernie lived together in L.A. as husband and wife ... but things went south during an altercation on Sept. 10.

According to her lawsuit, Castillo claims she was having an argument with Casey over their cars, when he suddenly grabbed her by the arm and tackled her to the ground "as though [she] was a football player."

Before Casey starred in movies like "Revenge of the Nerds" and "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" -- he was a Pro Bowl wide receiver for the L.A. Rams back in the '60s.

Castillo claims she suffered injuries from the alleged attack and wants Casey's estate to fork over some big money to make things right.

Casey died on Sept. 19 after suffering a stroke. Castillo believes his health conditions affected his mental ability in the last years of his life.
