Ed Westwick Won't Face Charges In 3 Separate Sexual Assault Cases

Published | Updated

9:55 AM PT -- Westwick's lawyer, Blair Berk, tells TMZ, "The evidence was clear from the start that each of the allegations made by these three women were absolutely untrue. It is a shame there are those who prejudged this case and that it took over 8 months for Ed to be officially cleared of all of these charges. I hope that those who made such quick judgment here not knowing anything about the abundant evidence of innocence in this case will hesitate next time before they so publicly accuse someone who has committed no wrongdoing."

Ed Westwick will not face charges in three different alleged sexual assaults ... due to insufficient evidence and in one case, because the alleged victim couldn't be reached.

According to new legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- 3 alleged victims accused the actor of sexual assault at 3 different times in 2014. Two of them ID'd potential witnesses but prosecutors say those witnesses could not provide sufficient evidence to get a conviction.

As for the third case ... cops were unable to get in touch with the alleged victim for a follow-up investigation.

Prosecutors say there were additional accusers, but all of the alleged acts were outside of the statute of limitations.

Gilbert Arenas Restraining Order Tossed ... After No-Show At Court

Published | Updated

The restraining order against Gilbert Arenas -- issued after his ex-GF accused Gil of threatening to send explicit videos to her son -- has been thrown out 'cause Gil and the woman missed court today.

Here's the deal ... the woman claimed she dated Gil on and off since 2016 -- and said he took their breakup hard.

The accusations were nasty ... with the woman claiming Arenas was "waiting to get my son's cell phone number from his son so that he could send my child naked photos of me and video of Gilbert and I having sex and video of me naked."

Last month, a judge granted a temporary restraining order to the woman ... which ordered Gil to "not communicate in person, by telephone, or text with [victim's] son. He shall not send [her son] photographs or videos."

He was also ordered to stay 100 yards away from his ex and her son.

Arenas and the woman were due back in court this morning in L.A. ... where the judge was gonna decide whether to issue a permanent order against G.A.

However, neither Gilbert nor his ex-GF showed up for their court date ... so the judge dismissed the order.

50 Cent to Teairra Mari There's No Revenge Porn ... Everyone Posted Your Sex Pic!!

Published | Updated

50 Cent's going with the ole "everyone's doing it, Mom" explanation for why he posted a screengrab from 'Love and Hip Hop' star Teairra Mari's sex tape.

Fiddy filed his response to Teairra's revenge porn lawsuit, and in the docs he says the image he posted -- showing Teairra with ejaculate on her face -- was already all over the Internet when he reposted it. He says the fact others beat him to the punch protects him legally.

As for Teairra's argument he went beyond a basic repost by applying a black & white filter "to highlight the color contrast of the semen" ... 50 says even if that's true, he didn't change the nature of the photo.

50 also echoes a statement the judge made last month -- that the photo doesn't fall under revenge porn because it doesn't show genitals or a sexual act in progress. In flagrante delicto, in Latin.

He wants the case tossed. As we've reported, Teairra is also suing her ex-bf, Akbar Abdul-Ahad.

The gang is known for taking out hits on its enemies, but usually in the hundreds of dollars.

Why so high for Sombra? She's a badass narc -- in her 6 years, she's helped bust 245 suspects!

Nicolas Cage and his GF got so loud at a five-star hotel, cops had to come riding in to the rescue.

Sources tell us Nic was staying at the Fairmont Banff Springs hotel in Alberta, Canada Tuesday after he wrapped filming on a movie up North. We're told someone called in a noise complaint that night, claiming things were getting outta hand in Nic's room.

First, hotel security came up and told them to keep it down. We're told Nic happily obliged, but some other guest went straight to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police -- 'cause officers responded after midnight. Not on horseback, bro. In case ya don't know, the RCMP have cars now.

Luckily for Nic, nothing came of it ... law enforcement tells us no arrests were made. Case closed. No horses mounted.

Tyron Woodley Rips Conor McGregor Fake Mobster and Terrible Role Model

Published | Updated

Tyron Woodley is going in on Conor McGregor -- saying his "larger than life mobster" image is a front ... and he's sick and tired of watching the guy act like a fake, tough guy.

We spoke with the UFC welterweight champ about Conor's plea deal in his bus attack case -- and Woodley says the lack of any serious punishment is par for the course when it comes to McGregor.

He also thinks that Conor's behavior -- from the violent incident at the Bellator fight to the Nate Diaz can-throwing incident -- is a TERRIBLE example for young kids and upcoming fighters.

Tyron's bigger issue ... "At some point, we have to go back to the f**king sport."

LeSean McCoy 'Confident' He'll Play Week 1 Despite Robbery Investigation
NOT TOO CONCERNED

LeSean McCoy says he's "very confident" he'll be suited up and ready to play for the Buffalo Bills in Week 1 of the regular season ... while the NFL investigates the violent robbery involving his ex-GF.

The RB faced the media at Bills training camp on Thursday -- where he was asked about the July 10 incident in which Delicia Cordon was violently robbed at gunpoint.

"Right now, it's an open investigation. I'll leave it at that," McCoy said ... "I'll let that take care of itself."

As we previously reported, Cordon was hospitalized after a masked man allegedly broke into her home, pistol whipped her and stole a bunch of jewelry.

After the incident, Cordon lawyered up and strongly insinuated McCoy had a role in the robbery. McCoy has adamantly denied all wrongdoing.

The Bills open up their NFL season against the Ravens on Sept. 9 -- and Shady plans on being there.

Papa John Sues Papa John's ... They Did Me Dirty

Published | Updated

The founder of Papa John's is feeling burned by his former company ... and he's demanding some answers from the pizza giant's board of directors.

John Schnatter filed a lawsuit in Delaware Thursday to get Papa John's to disclose all documents related to its response to him using the n-word. Schnatter wants to see the docs, "because of the unexplained and heavy-handed way in which the company has treated him since the publication of a story that falsely accused him of using a racial slur."

In the suit, Schnatter says it's impossible the board took an appropriate amount of time to make informed decisions ... which included terminating certain business agreements.

As we reported ... he resigned as chairman of Papa John's International, and also left the University of Louisville's Board of Trustees, after he was called out for using the n-word on a conference call in May. Schnatter insists reports falsely characterized the way he used the word.

Schnatter isn't looking for any serious dough in the lawsuit for now ... he just wants them to hand over company records.

CAN'T DEAL WITH HIM!

NY Congressman Peter King ain't too worried about people thinking Conor McGregor got off easy in his bus attack case -- in fact, he's already got jokes!

Of course, McGregor was facing 7 years in prison and possible deportation -- but struck a plea deal where he essentially got off with anger management and 5 days of community service.

Some people believe McGregor's sentence was WAY too light -- considering several people got hurt in the premeditated attack ... but, King's got no worries.

He joked that maybe prosecutors didn't want to put Conor in jail because he would beat up all the other inmates.

"He's a tough Irish guy," King joked ... "You gotta look out for those guys!"

But, would Floyd Mayweather get the same easy sentence if he was in Conor's shoes? We asked ... and that's when King got serious.

Conor McGregor Strikes Plea Deal Felony Dropped, Gets Anger Management

Published | Updated

We told you it was gonna happen ... and now it did -- prosecutors just dropped the felony against Conor McGregor and he will not spend 1 second in jail.

It's hugely significant because if he was convicted of a violent felony, he could have been deported -- which would have had a major impact on his UFC career.

Here's what happened inside the Brooklyn courtroom on Thursday -- Conor accepted a plea deal in which the felony count was dismissed. He pled guilty to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge.

He was sentenced to 5 days of community service, ordered to pay for the damage he caused to the bus -- and ordered to complete an anger management course.

Outside the courtroom, Conor issued a short statement -- "I just want to say I'm thankful for the D.A. and the judge for allowing me to move forward. I want to say to my friends, my family, my fans, thank you for the support."

ARRIVING TO COURT

Sources tell TMZ Sports ... Dana White will not bar him from the UFC as he has other fighters who have engaged in illegal violence.

One of the reasons is that White believes the legal system has already exacted punishment on the superstar.

Conor's co-defendant, Cian Cowley -- who also participated in the bus attack -- got the same deal ... but with only 3 days of community service.

A spokesperson for the Brooklyn D.A.'s office tells TMZ Sports ... "This is a fair resolution that holds the defendant accountable, ensures restitution for the victims and requires the defendant to perform community service where he can reflect on his conduct and give back to society.”

As we previously reported, Conor's attorneys had been negotiating a plea deal in the felony mischief case -- filed after the UFC champ threw a dolly at a UFC bus on April 5, injuring several fighters.

Conor was initially charged with 1 count of felony criminal mischief and 3 counts of misdemeanor assault.

Just last week, we were told prosecutors had agreed to reduce the felony to a misdemeanor -- which is a big deal since a felony involving violence could trigger permanent deportation from the U.S.

The 30-year-old UFC fighter faced up to 7 years in prison if convicted on all counts.

Three down, one to go -- another one of XXXTentacion's alleged murderers is in custody ... thanks to the U.S. Marshals.

Robert Allen was arrested Wednesday in rural Georgia. According to jail records, he's currently being held in Dodge County. The Marshals Fugitive Task Force reportedly found him at his sister's home in Eastman, GA.

Cops say his sister was cooperative when officers showed up to make the bust.

Allen was the guy who was originally wanted as a person of interest because he was caught on surveillance video outside the motorcycle dealership where XXXTentacion was moments before his murder. As we reported, a grand jury indicted him last week for first degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm.

He'll be extradited to Broward County, FL to face the charges, along with 2 others -- Michael Boatwright and Dedrick Williams.

Trayvon Newsome, who cops have named as a trigger man in the rapper's murder, is the only suspect still at large.

He also says Bryan assured him he'd be just fine and they'd kill it once the show started. Mark was still worried, but says they went on because they had a contractual obligation.

Mark says Bryan screwed up lyrics during their very first song, then disappeared for the rest of the concert.

Well, at least until he ran on stage and slammed Mark, who ended up injured ... while Bryan ended up in cuffs.

As we reported ... Mark says he wants Bryan to get help for his booze issue, but stopped short of saying he wants him prosecuted.

TMZ obtained footage of 24-year-old Austin Clay going to town early Wednesday morning on the star ... dislodging it from the famed sidewalk, and leaving it in tiny pieces.

Eyewitnesses tell us this happened around 3:00 AM, shortly before Clay reportedly called cops himself and later surrendered. No one tried to stop him, but then again he was madly swinging a pickax -- not the easiest thing to shut down.

The damage Clay caused is far worse than James Otis' bang-up work in 2016. He'd agreed to pay $4k to fix it up after pleading no contest.

Josh Radnor Neighbor Gets Green Light To Destroy Star's Huge Deck!!!

Published | Updated

Josh Radnor's neighbor just got permission from the City of Angels to destroy Josh's massive, $130,000 deck.

The "How I Met Your Mother" star and his neighbor have been feuding over the 1,300 square foot deck, which Josh built on the neighbor's property. Josh has an easement for access to that portion of the property, but doesn't own it, and the neighbor has already sued him to tear it down.

Looks like the lawsuit is no longer necessary, because the City of L.A. just sent a letter to the neighbor giving him permission to rip the crap out of the deck ... demolishing it. Turns out Josh built the structure without permits ... a big no no for the City, and it just got real.

TMZ broke the story ... Radnor got sued by his neighbor who claimed the actor knocked down a retaining wall and built a deck that extended onto his property.

Chris Hardwick Back to Work at AMC After Review Of Sexual Abuse Claims

Chris Hardwick has a green light to return to hosting 'Talking Dead' after what AMC says was a thorough investigation into the sexual assault allegations made by his ex-girlfriend.

The network announced Wednesday Hardwick has been reinstated, and will be back to work on 'Dead' and "Talking with Chris Hardwick."

AMC adds ... "We take these matters very seriously and given the information available to us after a very careful review, including interviews with numerous individuals, we believe returning Chris to work is the appropriate step."

Text messages obtained by TMZ appeared to show Chloe tried to reconcile with Chris months after their split.
