"Selling Sunset" star Emma Hernan has a secret connection to former NFL stud Julian Edelman ... she played matchmaker and is now his daughter's godmother!!!

Emma's the one who introduced Julian to Swedish model Ella Rose, and now that the two have a kid together, Emma's got a very important role in their lives.

Julian and Ella's daughter, Lily Rose, just celebrated her 5th birthday ... and Emma was there, of course, because she's the godmother.

The connection is 10 years in the making ... because it was about a decade ago when Emma and Ella met at an after-party for the Oscars before becoming roommates.

In fact, Emma introduced Ella to Julian -- she knew him because she has family ties to Boston and Julian, of course, played for the New England Patriots -- the rest is history.

Our sources say when Ella became pregnant with Julian's child, it was only natural for her to pick Emma as the godmother ... they were best friends after all.

Emma's super hands-on ... she was even in the delivery room with Ella when Lily was born -- she had her hand on Ella's leg during the birth.

Before this dressed-up darling was one half of an epic comedy duo, he was just another tuxedo tot ready to celebrate a big occasion in New York City, New York.

This top hat kid started his comedy career at a young age when he was cast in a sketch show catered to children of the same age. Most kid actors have started their careers from this hilarious series -- just like him -- by starring in spin-offs on the same television network ... one funny fella even made it on "Saturday Night Live."

Petra Ecclestone, the fashion designer/socialite, has filed legal docs to change the names of her 3 kids -- from her ex-husband's name to hers ... and it underscores the bitterness of their divorce.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Petra wants the last name of her three kids -- Andrew Kulbir Stunt, James Robert Frederick Stunt and Lavinia Stunt, to Ecclestone.

As for why, according to the docs, "To conform children's last name to mother's last name ... difficult in both daily life and traveling with children with a different name to mother."

The doc goes on to give another reason for the name change ... "Change and remove last name of absentee father who is subject to regular negative media and tabloid articles and criminal investigation."

The father of the 3 kids, James Stunt, is awaiting trial for money laundering, forgery and racially abusing a black police officer ... charges he has denied.

Stunt, a gold bullion dealer, and Ecclestone divorced in 2017, and it there is clearly still a lot of bad blood.

Petra, whose dad is Formula 1 honcho Bernie Ecclestone, is engaged to Sam Palmer ... they have a one-year-old daughter together.

Iain Armitage is doing quite well for himself outside of his usual revenue stream as the child star of "Young Sheldon" -- he earned another fat payday on his latest animated film.

According to Iain's minor's contract -- filed in L.A. Superior Court and obtained by TMZ -- the 13-year-old actor made at least $100,000 for his work on "PAW Patrol: The Movie" ... but he could have taken home even more than that.

The contract says Iain was paid $10,000 for each recording session he did for the movie ... and the deal says he was guaranteed at least 10 sessions, so there's $100k off the jump.

Iain, who is the voice of Chase in the animated movie, also had contractual bonuses depending on how well the film did at box offices in the U.S. and Canada after being released back in August ... but unfortunately for him, it didn't pan out.

The docs say Iain would have earned a $175,000 bonus if the film reached at least $150 million at the domestic box office ... and there are escalators that could see his total bonus haul reach $1.675 million, again, depending on how many kids drag their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to movie theaters.

However, the flick came up a little short with $130 million at the box office -- so he settled for the six-figure payday. Still a pretty sweet check at 13, or any age, for that matter!!!

Tiger Woods is back to playing pro golf again -- this after his nasty car wreck -- and he's doing alongside none other than his own ... both of whom have some ground to gain.

Round one of the PNC Championship is underway Saturday at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Grande Lakes in Orlando, where TW and Charlie Woods joined forces anew to play in a little father-son competition among other golfers and their kids.

As you can imagine, the fanfare was at an all-time high for the Woods family ... as this marks the first time Tiger has played in an actual tourney of any kind since getting crumpled in his automobile accident in February ... which left his legs shattered.

For Tiger's tee-off, everybody's eyes were on him ... and he hit a pretty decent shot to kick things off, with one guy clearly excited behind him -- shouting, "Welcome back, Big Cat!"

From there, Charlie started getting into his groove as well ... looking like a chip off the old block as he teed off himself with a beautiful drive -- which his dad later sunk with a putt.

From the outset, they were looking pretty good as a team ... but at the moment, they're well behind. As it stands, Team Woods is tied for 13th place as they approach the 11th hole. There's 36 holes total that they'll get through between today and tomorrow, and they're just past the midway point for today's round.

Basically, they're playing from behind right now ... but they have a ways to go before the day's out -- and could easily pull ahead, especially if they play as well as they have been thus far. And, as most everyone knows by now, never count Tiger Woods out.

Bigger picture though -- Tiger is looking fantastic out there ... as is his boy.

It's pretty miraculous to see the guy out here after everything he's been through. He addressed that before hitting the links, writing ... "Although it's been a long and challenging year, I am very excited to close it out by competing in the @PNCchampionship with my son Charlie. As you well know by now, Tiger's been on a long road of recovery since his February crash ... but steadily, he's been rehabbing and getting back onto golf courses. The only question now is ... will he eventually feel good enough to hop back into a solo PGA tournament???

Olivia Munn and John Mulaney are first-time parents, secretly welcoming a little boy into the world last month ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ Olivia gave birth on November 24, the day before Thanksgiving, in Los Angeles.

It was back in September when John made the surprising announcement that he and Olivia were expecting, dropping the news during an interview on "Late Night With Seth Meyers."

The interview touched on the ups and downs of John's life over the last year, where he also shared that it was Seth and other close friends who staged an intervention and encouraged him to go back to rehab for several weeks.

Prior to Olivia, John had been married to Anna Marie Tendler from 2014 until they announced they'd split in May 2021, John filed for divorce in July. At the time, reports said Mulaney and Anna had broken up quite some time before the news was made public.

Little boy Mulaney is the first child for both Olivia and John.
