The NFL will have to wait for its first black team owner -- the Denver Broncos just sold for a record $4.65 BILLION to Walmart heir Rob Walton and his family ... which is sad news for Magic Johnson and Kanye West.

The Broncos and the Walton-Penner family announced the deal late Thursday night ... which is believed to be the biggest deal for a North American franchise in sports history.

Walton -- who has a reported net worth of $59 BILLION -- will also take the throne as the richest owner in the league BY FAR -- David Tepper, the owner of the Carolina Panthers, has a net worth of $16.7 bil.

As we previously reported, the Lakers legend was part of a group led by Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Josh Harris ... although it's unclear how far along their bid made it in the process.

The agreement also means Yeezy's Donda Sports will not be part of a historic sale ... after Antonio Brown previously told TMZ Sports the company was "extremely serious" about buying the Broncos back in March.

It's worth mentioning -- it's unclear if Donda ever actually brought a bid to the table.

Walton spoke about securing the deal ... saying, "Having lived and worked in Colorado, we've always admired the Broncos."

"Our enthusiasm has only grown as we've learned more about the team, staff and Broncos Country over the last few months."

He added ... "We look forward to earning the confidence and support of the NFL as we take the next step in this process. When the necessary approval procedures are met, our family is excited to share more with Broncos fans, the organization and the community."

Ciara twerked on a Bronco ... but we're not talking about her husband!!

The singer and Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model held a random dance party at a gas station this week ... shaking it with all her friends as her upcoming single, "J.U.M.P." played in the background.

Russell Wilson's wifey put herself through the open sunroof and propped her leg up on top of the car ... as two dancers posted up on the doors, and one more took the front of the whip.

"It's time to pull up and make that thang J.U.M.P 😎," the "Level Up" artist said on Instagram.

While the short clip is surely an attention-grabber, some followers pointed out the steep gas prices listed behind the group ... with comedian Jasmin Brown saying, "Them gas prices chile 😵‍💫😭 I like this song tho 😍"

It's been a hot streak for CiCi -- she just graced the S.I. cover and the Wilson fam just made the move from Seattle to Denver.

Jerry Jeudy is breathing easier today ... TMZ Sports has confirmed prosecutors are dropping the criminal case against the NFL star.

A spokesperson for the Arapahoe County District Attorney's Office tells us officials formally filed a motion to dismiss all of the charges against the Denver Broncos wideout on Tuesday morning.

The filing comes just three weeks after the 23-year-old was arrested following an incident with the mother of his 1-month-old child.

Jeudy had been accused of withholding property from the woman who officers at the time claimed was trying to leave his presence on May 12 in Arapahoe County. He was booked on charges of 2nd-degree criminal tampering w/a domestic violence enhancer.

Throughout the case, though, Jeudy's attorney -- Harvey Steinberg -- had argued the receiver should have never been arrested. On Tuesday, he celebrated the D.A.'s decision in a statement to NFL reporter Aaron Wilson.

"Nothing rose to the level of a crime," Steinberg said. "I like Jerry and he is a good person and this is a minor bump in the road of what I think will be a sterling career."

If Jerry Jones for some reason ever got the itch to sell the Dallas Cowboys -- he said he could get more than $10 BILLION for the team!!!

Jones made the eyebrow-raising claim to Peter King last Friday ... saying he truly believes his franchise is worth that much cash.

But, breathe easy, Cowboys fans ... he said a sale will never go down.

"Let me make this very clear," Jones told King. "I'll say it definitively. I will never do it. I will never sell the Cowboys. Ever."

Jones' comments were spurred by the upcoming sale of the Denver Broncos. The Colorado org. is in the process of getting a new owner -- and the price tag that's been kicked around for the team is $4.5 billion.

Because of the Cowboys' global popularity, Jones clearly believes his team is worth more than double that figure ... and told King that he expects that number to potentially grow even more exponentially over the next few years.

"The NFL, in my mind," Jones said, "the visibility, the volume, the overall passion, you frankly can’t get it anywhere else. That’s why all these people want a piece of it.”

The alleged victim in Jerry Jeudy's criminal tampering arrest wants the case thrown out -- telling a judge she's never felt threatened by the NFL star and he never put a finger on her.

The Denver Broncos wide receiver and the mother of his 1-month-old child appeared in court in Colorado on Friday ... where she pleaded with the judge to dismiss the 23-year-old's domestic violence criminal tampering case.

As we previously reported, the alleged incident went down at around 10:15 AM on Thursday ... when Jeudy was accused of illegally keeping property from the mother of his child, according to the Arapahoe County sheriff.

The ex-Alabama star was arrested and spent the night in jail ... before appearing in court Friday morning.

The judge imposed a mandatory protection order on Jeudy ... but the alleged victim did NOT request a no-contact order.

Jeudy is set to be released on personal recognizance.

The NFLer's lawyer, Harvey Steinberg, told reporters after the court appearance his client should not have been arrested or incarcerated.

"Bad things happen to good people and that's what I think this case is," Steinberg said.

Jeudy's next court date is set for May 31.

Denver Broncos star receiver Jerry Jeudy was arrested in Colorado on Thursday ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.

A rep for the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office tells us the 23-year-old was taken into custody between 11:30 AM and 12 PM and is currently in jail.

The allegations against Jeudy are unclear ... the spokesperson said the former Alabama superstar is still being processed in the booking phase.

The ACSO spokesperson, though, did say Jeudy was arrested following a call for service.

Jeudy was picked in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Broncos ... and has recorded 90 receptions, 1,323 receiving yards and three touchdowns in two seasons with the team since.

He and Courtland Sutton are expected to be the top targets for Russell Wilson in Denver's offense this season.

New city, new team ... new puppy?!?

Russell Wilson and Ciara just revealed they're welcoming a new doggo into the family following the quarterback's shocking trade to Denver ... and, fittingly, they named the pup "Bronco!"

The NFL star and the musician took to social media to announce the new addition to the Wilson household ... showing off the adorable, four-legged friend in an Instagram video.

"Meet.. BRONCO 🐶," Ciara said of the new dog. "The kids call her Bronco Love Brownie:)"

Ciara insinuated that Russ got her the pup as a Mother's Day gift ... writing on her social media page, "The sweetest surprise. I love you baby."

Wilson and Ciara were all smiles as the "Level Up" singer held Bronco in her arms.

Of course, the pup will now have a whole lot of room to roam in the Wilsons' house ... because, you'll recall, the signal-caller and his wife just copped a massive Denver mansion for $25 million after he was traded to the Broncos this offseason.

The Wilsons' new 20,060 square foot estate sits on 5.34 acres ... which means plenty of space for the new pup to explore.

Kanye West and Antonio Brown have some competition ... 'cause Lakers legend Magic Johnson is joining a bid to purchase the Denver Broncos!!

The Hall of Fame hooper is hopping on Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Josh Harris' offer to purchase the NFL team, according to Sportico.

Of course, superstar Antonio Brown previously told TMZ Sports he and Kanye West are "extremely serious" about taking over the team ... claiming Donda Sports was working like crazy to make it happen.

With that being said, the Broncos are currently valued at close to $4 billion ... and when it's all said and done, the sale is expected to be the biggest in sports history.

Johnson has become a business mogul following his incredible career with the Purple & Gold -- he's invested in the Dodgers, Lakers, Sparks and LAFC ... as well as Starbucks, Burger King, Square, Cameo, 24 Hour Fitness and more.

Magic's involvement would be a step in the right direction for the NFL, which has a serious issue with diversity among NFL owners.

Now, Forbes reports Ye has a net worth of around $1.8 billion ... but Harris' is reportedly around $5.6 billion.

Russell Wilson and Ciara are officially making Denver their new home -- 'cause the Broncos QB just plunked down $25 million on a gorgeous mansion ... an all-time high for a single-family home in the area!

The 33-year-old copped the new crib -- which sits on 5.34 acres -- earlier this month in Englewood, CO ... a 24-minute drive from the Empower Field at Mile High stadium.

The 20,060 square foot estate has plenty of room for Russ, Ciara and their three children. The house features four bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a nine-car garage and a large fireplace for those cold Rocky mountain nights.

There's also a 2,590-square-foot indoor pool, game room, home theater and full basketball court.

The Wilsons bought the place (in an off-market deal) for a record-breaking $26 million -- the most expensive price tag for a single family home in the Denver area.

The previous record was a penthouse at the Four Seasons building that sold for $16M in 2020 ... and former Broncos coach Mike Shanahan's mansion which sold for $15.7M.

It's definitely an upgrade in size for the Wilson family ... their Washington home -- that just went on the market for $36 million -- was a little over 11,000 square feet.

Of course, the recent real estate moves happened due to the Seattle Seahawks trading the 9x Pro Bowler to the Broncos last month.

Russell Wilson's love for Ciara is unliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimited -- the Denver Broncos quarterback was getting hot and heavy with his wife after the Oscars ... and they couldn't help but share the sexy moment on video.

Russ and Ciara hit up the Vanity Fair after-party on Sunday ... and as always, they looked incredible. Russ sported an all-black, double-breasted suit with black shoes ... while Ciara donned a revealing burgundy dress and gold shoes.

Ciara shared some BTS shots of their big night on the town ... with Wilson showing the singer a ton of affection as he kisses her on her cheek.

Empower Field at Mile High Stadium -- the home of the Denver Broncos -- caught on fire on Thursday ... and images from the scene are alarming.

No word on what caused the blaze ... but Denver Fire says suite and third-level areas of the stadium seats underneath John Lynch's spot on the Ring of Fame were affected.

Several sections of the stadium were destroyed ... but luckily, DFD says the fire has since been put out, thanks to sprinklers and brave firefighters.

Huge clouds of smoke are filling the Denver skyline ... with several witnesses posting their views of the fire.

Mile High opened in 2001 ... and has hosted Broncos games, concerts and soccer matches. It could become one of the game locations for the 2026 World Cup.

Russell Wilson is already building up serious chemistry with his new star receiver Courtland Sutton -- hitting the dude in stride for a huge TD pass in a workout in the quarterback's backyard on Tuesday.

The new Denver signal-caller just posted the vid -- his first-ever in Broncos gear -- and even though he's on a new squad, his arm certainly still looks the same.

Watch the clip, Wilson fired off a 50-yard strike to Sutton, who came down with the ball while sliding into the endzone.

The two dapped up on the field after the play -- and following the training session, Russ was clearly hyped about his new teammate.

"Uh oh," Wilson wrote, adding a "😏" emoji.

Of course, the sight is going to make Seahawks fans cringe -- particularly after Seattle brass said in statements last week that it was Wilson who originally asked for a trade.

Breaking up is hard to do -- just ask Seahawks super fan Joel McHale ... who's not doing so well after finding out his favorite team shipped away star quarterback Russell Wilson to the Broncos.

TMZ Sports spoke with McHale out at LAX on Friday afternoon -- just a couple days after his Seattle squad parted ways with Russ -- and the comedian told us he's been pretty down in the dumps over the trade.

"I'm just as surprised as you are," McHale said. "I thought he was staying. Clearly, I was wrong. That was shocking news."

Joel had previously told us he thought there was no way in hell the 'Hawks would deal Russ -- but now that they have, he said he's downright sad.

"He's one of the best ever," Joel said. "He's a unicorn."

But, Joel said he'd always remember the good memories Russ gave him ... and said he's still sure Seattle will erect a statue honoring the QB eventually.

Move over, Tom Brady ... TMZ Sports has learned Russell Wilson's Broncos jersey has now supplanted the GOAT's Buccaneers uni as the NFL's top-seller this week.

A rep for Fanatics tells us after Wilson was introduced as the new QB in Denver on Wednesday -- sales for his new jersey skyrocketed, and ultimately leap-frogged over Brady for the #1 spot across their network of sites.

We're told that's quite the feat, considering that Brady's jersey had previously had a stranglehold on the pole position after he announced on Sunday he was unretiring.

No word on how much money was spent on the digital sports platform for the new orange and blue #3 to get it to the top spot ... but it's safe to say it was a lot of coin.

Russ, meanwhile, said this week he's fired up to be playing in Denver in the new uni ... telling reporters Wednesday, "It's an honor, it's a gift."

His head coach, Nathaniel Hackett, clearly felt the same ... nearly dropping an S-bomb with excitement at the Wilson press conference.

The newest 'Bachelorette' star is trading her pom-poms for roses ... 'cause Gabby Windey is a former Denver Broncos cheerleader!!

The 31-year-old current ICU nurse was announced as one of the costars for the next season of the ABC dating show ... after getting her heart broken by ex-NFL hopeful Clayton Echard in the final week.

Windey -- who handled the dumpster-fire ending of her relationship with Clayton like a champ -- spent several seasons on the Broncos sidelines ... joining the squad in 2015 before leaving in 2021.

On top of being a pro cheerleader, Gabby also worked on the frontlines as a nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Of course, Gabby is sharing the title of 'Bachelorette' with Rachel Recchia, who was also crushed by Clayton's lack of transparency at the end of his season.

As it turns out, Rachel also has a cheerleading background -- she was a member of the squad during her time at Ohio University.

In case you weren't following the season, Clayton was "intimate" with both Gabby and Rachel during fantasy suites ... which led the third finalist, Susie Evans, to break things off with him and go home.

Clayton then admitted to Gabby and Rachel he was in love with all three finalists and fought to keep them on board ... before eventually admitting his heart was ultimately with Susie and breaking up with the other two women at the SAME TIME (yeah, bad).

As it turns out, Susie eventually reached back out to Clayton after the show ended ... and now they're happily together.

Rachel and Gabby, on the other hand, will now try their luck with the show again ... this time, being on the other side of things.

The season airs later this year ... we'll be "cheering" for love.

The Russell Wilson trade to the Broncos shocked a lot of people ... but it pissed off famed celebrity jeweler Ben Baller ... who calls it one of the worst trades in NFL history.

Ben -- a huge Seahawks fan -- spoke with TMZ Sports just hours after the trade that sent the 9x Pro Bowl QB and a fourth-round pick to Denver in exchange for 3 players, 2 first-round picks, 2 second-round picks and a fifth-round.

"One of the worst trades in NFL history," Ben said Tuesday in Studio City, "and definitely the worst trade in Seahawks history."

Ben's also not too fond of swapping Wilson for QB Drew Lock ... saying there's no way the former Mizzou star is a starting QB.

FYI, Lock has started 21 games for Denver since 2019 -- throwing 25 TD's (he also ran for 5), and 20 interceptions. He's been sacked 33 times.

"C'mon bro. Like if he suits up, I'm gonna throw tomatoes at this guy," Ben said.

The 49-year-old basically says he wants anyone but Lock ... and even throughout a few potential Wilson replacements.

"I'm hoping that we may pick up Deshaun Watson, somehow someway we manifest that. I'd rather have Geno Smith. There's no way that Drew Lock is gonna be QB1 for us," Ben says.

"How do you replace a Hall of Famer?!"

Ben believes the 33-year-old QB could bring the Lombardi Trophy back to Denver -- something that hasn't happened since 2016 with Peyton Manning.

"I think so, bro," Ben tells us, "It's not far-fetched."
