Billie Eilish Your 'Stolen Land' Comment Was Cool ... Just Mention The Tribe Next Time!!!

Published | Updated

Billie Eilish's observation about federal immigration and "stolen land" at the Grammy Awards show Sunday night raised eyebrows ... and now a Native American tribe is reacting to the situation.

FYI, while accepting the Song Of The Year award Billie told the crowd ... “As grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land ... F*** ICE.”

A conservative journalist named Eric Daugherty publicized the fact the singer’s house sits on land historically inhabited by the Tongva, the indigenous people of the area including Los Angeles. A spokesperson for the Tongva tribe told the Daily Mail Billie's home is “situated in our ancestral land” ... and said Billie didn’t reach out to the tribe before or after making her statement.

However, the spokesperson added ... “We do value the instance when public figures provide visibility to the true history of this country” and said they reached out to Billie to show their appreciation for her public comments.

They continued ... “It is our hope that in future discussions the tribe can explicitly be referenced to ensure the public understands that the greater Los Angeles basin remains Gabrieleno Tongva territory.”

Lola Young Oh, F***! My F-Bomb Got Past Censors!

Published

Lola Young had a great night at the 2026 Grammy Awards ceremony ... but her slip of the tongue ended up slipping by censors.

Here's the deal ... the pop star won the award for Best Pop Solo Performance last night, and her emotions really must have caught up with her ... because she dropped an F-bomb while accepting her Grammy.

Lola admitted she didn't have anything prepared for the moment, stating ... "I don’t know what to say. Thank you so much. You can tell by my f***ing ... Sorry, sorry, sorry."

Lola ended up composing herself, and she said she was "very, very grateful" for the award.

The thing is, the F-bomb apparently made it past CBS censors on YouTube TV ... and the slip-up could mean an FCC fine's on the table, Deadline reports.

Lola wasn't the only artist who dropped a four-letter word during the Grammys ... Sabrina Carpenter got bleeped while performing "Manchild" at the awards show, and Billie Eilish did too while making a statement about ICE.

Still, you gotta cut Lola some slack ... after all, she just won her first Grammy!

Alex Warren Vents On TikTok About Grammys Mess-Up

Published

Alex Warren had a rough time performing at the 2026 Grammy Awards ceremony Sunday night ... and he's blaming an error with his in-ear monitors for the mess-up.

ICYMI ... the songwriter, who was put up for the Best New Artist award, performed his track "Ordinary" during the broadcast -- and he was about half a beat behind for part of the song, E! News reports.

Warren tried adjusting his microphone pack while singing ... eventually pulling his in-ear monitors out.

Warren addressed the glitch on TikTok on Sunday evening ... over a layered and off-time version of "Ordinary," he wrote the caption ... "When you’re performing at the Grammys and all you hear is this in your in ears."

Waiting for your permission to load TikTok Post.

The singer put his head in his hands and mock-screamed in frustration.

The comments section of the post was full of support for Warren, with Trisha Paytas writing he "crushed it" on stage.

Still, the Grammy for Best New Artist ended up going to Olivia Dean ... so last night must have been tough all around for Warren.

Donald Trump We're Gonna Overhaul The Kennedy Center!

Published

President Donald Trump announced the Kennedy Center will be closing for about two years ... in an effort to complete what he described as a "complete rebuilding" of the space.

POTUS announced the news about the performing arts center on Truth Social on Sunday, where he claimed he consulted with various experts about the best path forward for the venue ... and decided it was best to shut it down completely.

Trump wrote "Interruptions with Audiences from the many Events using the Facility" would likely extend the project's duration and added ... "the temporary closure will produce a much faster and higher quality result."

47 described the venue as "a tired, broken, and dilapidated Center, one that has been in bad condition, both financially and structurally for many years."

Trump said financing for the project is already in place ... and declared the Kennedy Center will close on the 4th of July and construction will then begin.

The Kennedy Center's been a touchy subject in recent months ... its board of trustees -- which was overhauled by Trump -- voted to rename the venue the The Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts in December. Trump's also the chairman of the Kennedy Center's board of trustees.

Numerous performers and groups cancelled planned appearances at the Kennedy Center in the weeks after the renaming.

Groundhog Day You Better Stay Warm Because It's Gonna Be A Long Winter!

Published

If you were getting ready to put away those sweaters and mitts, you might wanna think twice ... because Punxsutawney Phil predicted six more weeks of winter weather on Monday -- which happens to be Groundhog Day.

And in case you needed a refresher on how the prediction works ... Phil, who resides at Gobbler's Knob near Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, about 80 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, comes out of his burrow on Groundhog Day. If he doesn't see his shadow, spring's coming early, but if he does ... it means winter's gonna stick around for six more weeks.

Phil saw his shadow on Monday, reports NBC News, and the crowd didn't love his prediction -- several people booed the weather-savvy woodchuck.

Temperatures were down to the single-digits (Fahrenheit) when Phil made his prediction, and although his fans are usually allowed to take photos with him after he makes his call, Phil's handlers said it was too cold to keep him outside for long.

This is probably bad news for most of the United States, as it's been a particularly harsh winter ... with storms and blizzards raging frequently over the past few weeks.

There's still one question we've got about this year's Groundhog Day prediction ... what does Bill Murray think about it?

Published

Granted, the "Small Rooms, Big Nerves" tour ain't over yet, though ... Hilary's still got six dates in Las Vegas -- three in February, three in May -- planned out.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

Still, Hilary shared a photo of the shirt reveal on Instagram and wrote there was "more to come" in her post's caption ... which was about as subtle as a brick.

Hilary's tour wasn't her only big project of 2026 -- she's got her first album in 11 years, "Luck... or Something," set for release next month.

Suffice to say, 2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for Hilary ... and we're here for all of it!

Melania Trump Documentary Gets Two Thumbs Down On Letterboxd

Published

The team behind the Melania Trump-focused documentary “Melania” might’ve put some real hard work into the flick ... but it’s getting trashed online by more than a few filmgoers.

The movie’s been review-bombed -- which is when fans share negative reviews for a project in a short amount of time, in case you were wondering -- on movie review platform Letterboxd ... and it holds a score of 1.2 out of 5 stars, despite having only been in theaters for a single day.

Most of the film’s reviews are harsh, and one of the most popular reviews on the movie’s page reads ... “If they showed this on a plane, people would still walk out.”

To be fair, there were a few 5-star reviews for the movie ... a cool 61 out of 3,436.

ICYWW ... the movie, which was directed by Brett Ratner, is centered on the First Lady as she navigates the 20 days leading up to the 2025 Presidential Inauguration -- as well as numerous fittings, apparently. The Kennedy Center premiere on Thursday brought out the likes of Nicki Minaj, Dr. Phil, and Donald Trump himself.

It’s also worth mentioning, Amazon MGM Studios dropped $40 million on the project, and they apparently spent $35 million to promote it, reports The Daily Beast.

The movie’s only expected to take in $3 million to $5 million during its opening weekend, reports Variety ... ouch.

Aspen Kartier Suspended From Twitch After Allegedly Beating Her Dog

Published

A Twitch streamer has been suspended from the platform after a video allegedly showing her beating a puppy went viral ... but she’s denying the allegations.

Rapper Aspen Kartier was streaming this week when her dog entered her room. She asked the dog how it got out of its cage ... before she appeared to grab and strike the dog, which yelped several times.

Kartier was later seen holding the dog by what appeared to be the nape of its neck -- which can cause dogs severe pain and result in possible injuries -- while she carried it out of the room.

Kartier subsequently shared a video regarding the incident in which she denied hitting the dog and claimed it was an exaggeration ... while the dog whimpered and tried to get out of her grasp.

Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.

The thing is, Kartier’s Twitch account was suspended for a violation of Twitch’s Community Guidelines or Terms of Service, and she apparently won’t be able to stream on the platform until March 19th. She’s floated the idea of streaming on YouTube or Kick until then.

Kartier also shared a video where she claimed the dog was for sale, with the rapper throwing dollar bills on her dog’s head in another clip.

Kartier’s received plenty of online backlash for the alleged animal abuse ... and PETA issued a comment on Instagram calling for authorities to investigate the incident.

TMZ has reached out to Kartier and Twitch for comment.

Catherine O'Hara How She Maintained A Multi-Decade Acting Career

Published

Catherine O’Hara filled plenty of roles in her time ... and she earned herself more than a few fans during her career as an actress, in which she appeared in productions like "Schitt's Creek" and "Home Alone."

Catherine was born in 1954 in Toronto, Canada, and she grew up in a large family in the Toronto suburb of Etobicoke.

Catherine Was Originally From Canada

She began her acting career in the 1970s, when she joined The Second City -- a historic improv comedy enterprise -- in Toronto.

Catherine started out in showbiz by filling bit parts in various TV shows and made-for-TV movies, according to her IMDb page.

Her big break came in 1976, when she started appearing in The Second City’s sketch comedy show “SCTV,” and she remained with the show for three years alongside other future stars like John Candy and Rick Moranis.

She Eventually Began Working In Movies

Catherine switched back and forth between TV and film work throughout her career, and she gained exposure after being featured in flicks like “After Hours” and “Beetlejuice.”

She wasn’t exactly averse to appearing in sequels, either ... because she reprised her role as Kate, the mother of Macaulay Culkin’s character from the 1990 film “Home Alone,” in the movie’s 1992 sequel.

Catherine O'Hara: Through The Years

Catherine didn’t mind waiting more than a few years for a sequel, either ... because she agreed to reprise her role as Delia from “Beetlejuice,” which was released in 1988, for its sequel -- which was released 36 years later.

And speaking of “Beetlejuice” -- Catherine met her husband, Bo Welch, on the set of the flick and Tim Burton encouraged him to ask her out ... they married in 1992, and they welcomed sons Matthew and Luke in 1994 and 1997, respectively.

Catherine Received Critical Acclaim For Her Work In “Schitt’s Creek”

Catherine’s career had always been steady ... and it received a serious boost in popularity in 2015, when she joined the cast of “Schitt’s Creek,” which was co-created by her old Second City castmate, Eugene Levy.

She filled the role of Moira Rose, a former soap opera star who was forced to deal with her family’s loss of fortune ... and she remained with the show for the entirety of its 80-episode run.

Catherine was put up for a duo of Primetime Emmy Awards for her work in the show ... and she took home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2020.

It’s also worth mentioning, she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress - Television Series Musical or Comedy the same year.

Her Cause Of Death Hasn’t Been Confirmed Yet

We revealed Catherine had died at the age of 71 in January 2026 ... her cause of death wasn’t publicly revealed.

Jeannie Mai I Won't Lie ... Divorcing Jeezy Really Sucked!

Published

Jeannie Mai really went through the wringer during her divorce from Jeezy ... and the whole thing was apparently like "experiencing death alive."

Jeannie spoke about the end of her marriage with Jeezy during Thursday's episode of iHeartRadio's "Question Everything" podcast and described the process of divorcing the rapper as "the worst."

FYI ... Jeannie and Jeezy tied the knot back in 2021, and they welcomed a daughter, Monaco Mai, the following year -- although they ended up separating in 2023, and they finalized their divorce in June 2024.

Jeannie said divorce was a process "that forces you to then protect yourself to get what you need" ... and admitted the whole thing was "the worst."

She added ... "I am so lucky that Monaco was only one when this happened. She's not gonna remember what that turmoil is like. That's not something I want her to ever have to think about. My job is to define peace for her."

The thing is, Jeannie didn't have any regrets about tying the knot with Jeezy and said she was "so thankful to have experienced love in so many different ways."

We should note ... she didn't close the door on the idea of a second marriage because she really enjoyed what the feeling of love brought into her life ... no word on if she's found any new suitors.
