Kendall and Kylie Jenner got an eviction notice because someone royally screwed up ... and now the leasing company's apologizing for the goof.

You might recall there were reports Kendall and Kylie's company got slapped with a notice at their NYC office ... claiming the sisters had fallen behind on rent to the tune of more than $57k and had 5 days to pay or get the hell out.

But, a rep for the leasing company tells TMZ ... it never should have happened. The company says, "There was a miscommunication due to a change in invoice procedures that led to this confusion. We apologize for any negative press the Kendall + Kylie brand has received."

The leasing company went on to say, "They have always been respectful and in good standing tenants."

Beloved children's show "Blue's Clues" is returning after a 12-year hiatus, but the half animated and half live-action program's host might look very different.

We're told the "Blue's Clues" team is seriously considering replacing the hosting spot, previously held by Steve Burns and Donovan Patton, with a woman.

Sources tell us production for the reboot is paying close attention to what fans want via social media. So far, the hashtag #BringBackSteve has been trending. We're told production hasn't ruled out bringing the fan fave back, but is looking at all other options too, even hosting an open call in Burbank on April 18 for the gig.

Our sources say they're not planning on changing much, just updating things a bit. The new host will be wearing the signature green striped polo shirt and khaki pants that previous hosts wore, but likely without pleats in the pants.

As for why the show's coming back after all these years, we're told producers feel like they can connect with their old audience again, many of whom are starting to have kids of their own. As for dream celebrity guests for the revival, we're told they wouldn't turn down Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and their daughter, Luna.

The entire city of Houston is gonna shun Kenny Smith after watching this clip* ... 'cause the Jet tells TMZ Sports why LeBron should NOT join the Rockets in free agency this summer.

We spoke with Smith about reports claiming LBJ could bail on Cleveland for the Sixers, Lakers or Rockets this off-season ... and he says moving to H-Town would be unfair.

Smith says Bron Bron can keep his throne on the shores of Lake Erie and still compete for a ring every year ... 'cause he can just recruit players to Cleveland, instead of the other way around.

Tommy Lee is calling BS on his ex-wife, Pamela Anderson, saying he doesn't have a booze problem ... and insisting his drinking has nothing to do with Brandon punching him.

Tommy tells TMZ ... Pamela's allegation he is an alcoholic is off base. In a statement he says, "Do I drink more than the average Joe? Yes. Have I ever hurt my sons or acted out of turn with them because of my drinking? No." He adds, "No matter how much people wanna pin me as this deviant alcoholic abuser, that isn't me. I'm a happy fun loving guy."

As we reported, Pam claims Tommy's fianceé, Brittany Furlan, keeps Tommy drunk all day. Brittany tells us, "That's insane. Tommy is a grown up and makes his own decisions."

As for Brandon knocking him out, Tommy says, "When I stood up he pushed me into a wall. I didn't want to hit my son. I never have and I never will." He says he simply wanted Brandon to apologize "to show that he actually felt bad, but he doesn't." He also thinks his sons haven't had to struggle -- "I want them to get jobs, not their inconsistent modeling and acting work here and there that doesn't make enough money for them to survive."

Teri Hatcher's setting the record straight -- she's NOT broke or homeless, and she says anyone claiming that just isn't doing their homework.

Teri joined Sam Rubin on the "KTLA 5 Morning News" all the way from London to address a cover story recently published in Star Magazine ... claiming Teri's desperate, broke, homeless and living out of her van.

The "Desperate Housewives" star says that could NOT be further from the truth. Teri calls the story absurd and says the pictures the magazine published were actually just her filming her YouTube series, "Van Therapy" ... in which she drives around in her Bay Window Volkswagen Bus.

Senator Jeff Flake will not answer the question -- will he challenge Donald Trump in the 2020 primaries -- but he makes it pretty clear he's noodling the idea.

We got the Arizona Republican Monday at Reagan National Airport and pressed him on the rumors he's going after Trump. Trump has already named his manager for his re-election campaign.

Apologies to Will Smith ... the 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' might be getting dethroned soon, 'cause there's a potential new heir being eyed for a TV reboot -- and he's a she ... TMZ has learned.

The company that owns the rights to 'Fresh Prince' filed a few trademark applications seeking to lock down rights to "Fresh Princess" for a television program and virtually every other media platform.

They're also looking to trademark the "Fresh Princess" on a bunch of merch -- including bags, backpacks, animal collars and, of course, lots of clothing and footwear.

As we reported ... the folks in control of 'FP' recently wanted trademarks for new 'Fresh Prince' toys, which fueled speculation a cartoon version of the hit '90s show was on the horizon ... especially since Will seemed to endorse an animated take on the Banks.

No word on whether Will would be involved with a female-focused reboot.

Quincy Jones has apologized for his recent "wordvomit" interviews -- his word -- in which he revealed A LOT of dirt on Hollywood elites ... but he isn't taking any of it back.

The legendary music producer said Thursday his six daughters pulled him aside for a surprise "family intervention" due to some "silly things" he's said lately.

He goes on to say he'd recently stopped drinking (3 years ago) and makes a point that certain details he's spilled on don't paint the full picture of his intentions or experiences over his "long & crazy life." That said ... he doesn't correct the record on anything.

Quincy does, however, apologize to anyone he's bad-mouthed -- like Michael Jackson, for example -- adding that it's inexcusable to do so. He also hopes messages he relayed about racism, inequality, poverty, etc. aren't clouded by his outrageous remarks.

Quincy's caused quite a stir by saying lots of things -- some of which appeared to be true -- like Richard Pryor banging Marlon Brando, MJ hijacking "Billie Jean," Marilyn Monroe having "a chest that looked like pears" ... and allegedly "dating" Ivanka Trump.

David Hogg, the Florida high school shooting survivor, is at the center of a spreading conspiracy theory ... that he and other survivors are not really students, but now that's being squarely debunked.

The theory goes Hogg already graduated from a California high school, and just went to Parkland, FL to act as a shooting survivor, and push for gun control. Someone figured out one simple way to address the issue -- the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High yearbook!

Take a look, the video of the school's 2017 yearbook shows David's photo among the school's underclassmen. Since it's not a senior portrait, he clearly didn't graduate last year, and clearly was enrolled at the school.

We've learned Hogg did attend a Southern Cali school years ago, but moved to Florida with his family sometime before the 2015 school year. Hogg's Twitter history also shows tweets as far back as 2015 marking himself at the Florida school.

Lupita Nyong'o has Michael B. Jordan wrapped around her finger ... for at least a few more days, but that's what he gets for betting.

The "Black Panther" co-stars have been getting pretty flirty in recent weeks, and it continued when she popped into his dressing room Monday at "The View." After grabbing/caressing Michael's face ... Lupita demanded he drop down and pump out ... one push-up.

Apparently they made some bet, which he lost, and now MBJ has to do on-call, on-demand push-ups.

The dressing room antics only fueled dating rumors. They were spotted getting a little handsy at several events and promotional appearances last week ... including NY Fashion Week.

While their fans are all about it, and would LOVE to see them really be a thing ... our sources say the flirting is more about promoting the movie.

Tito Ortiz is doubling down on his Chuck Liddell call-out ... telling TMZ Sports straight-up that he's down for a 3rd fight with the Iceman!

"I don't need to fight, but if Chuck needs to ... I'll be a good friend like he was once and give him a payday," Ortiz said ... adding that ONLY Chuck could pull him outta retirement.

The bad news -- Tito says he proposed Ortiz vs. Liddell 3 to a UFC matchmaker on New Year's ... and got shot down HARD 'cause they're worried about Chuck's health.

"He kinda looked at me and laughed and said, 'Chuck couldn't fight again! He's been knocked out unconscious 5 times! I guarantee you the doctor won't give him a license."

But that ain't stoppin' Chuck -- who tells us he's still training his ass off.

It seemed like a joke, but Barstool Sports president Dave Portnoy tells TMZ Sports the organization REALLY did fire Michael Rapaport this weekend after he insulted the company's fans.

It all started when Rap posted a tweet saying "Stoolies" are losers in life. Portnoy says he and the rest of the staff took offense ... "That was the ultimate deal-breaker."

Portnoy says Rapaport was under contract with Barstool -- as part of the deal, he would create original content like viral videos and Barstool would "rep" Michael's popular podcast, "I Am Rapaport."

It seemed the two sides had a great business relationship -- but Portnoy says it turned into an "utter and complete train wreck."

Portnoy tried to fire Rapaport over text message -- but accidentally sent it to NFL insider Ian Rapaport instead. Eventually, Michael got the message.

"To me, it was very personal. It was very real," Portnoy says.

We got Offset Friday afternoon heading into Peter Marco Jewelers on Rodeo Drive, and he was clear as a bell ... Cardi, he says, is not with child.

The 26-year-old Migos member already has 3 bambinos -- 2, 2 and 8 -- and he says no one's joining the brood anytime soon.
