Ex-NFL star Marcellus Wiley is taking a firm stance on who should take over for the Los Angeles Chargers ... telling TMZ Sports he thinks Bill Belichick should NOT be the next head coach.

The Bolts job is arguably the most attractive opening in the league right now ... and many are speculating they could land a big fish like the former Patriots legend or Michigan's Jim Harbaugh if he chooses to make a return to the pros.

We asked the TV personality about those two names specifically ... and while he considers Belichick the greatest coach of all time, he says Harbaugh is the right guy for the gig.

"It's gonna be tough with the Chargers, obviously," Wiley said at LAX. "We're looking for a coach that we can look into the future with. With Belichick, how far are you going to look into the future? I don't know."

Wiley points out there's still a debate whether Belichick or Tom Brady was more responsible for the Patriots' six Super Bowl wins ... and his style of coaching may not resonate with the locker room.

Harbaugh -- who's fresh off a national championship with the Wolverines -- hasn't announced whether he will be back in Ann Arbor next season ... but Wiley thinks his postgame comments mean he's as good as gone.

As for his former team, Wiley -- who played in San Diego from 2001-2003 -- thinks they're an easy fix under Harbaugh ... making him the perfect guy to replace fired coach Brandon Staley.

"With Justin Herbert, he's top 5 talent," he added. "He just needs everybody else. First, he's gotta stay healthy and then everybody else just kinda stay healthy and stay on page. With Staley, it was fun ... but a little too much gambling. It started to cost us. People stopped believing him, the doubt creeped in, then he just lost his way. That's what happens."

Selena Gomez and Emily Blunt didn't take any chances at the American Film Institute awards Friday night ... covering up their mouths to thwart lipreaders with active imaginations.

The superstar actresses got together for a fun photo at the event where they hit the "speak no evil" pose -- a reference, no doubt, to some Golden Globes gossip sparked by everyone's favorite rumor mill ... social media.

Selena threw this pic up on her IG story and wrote, "We shall not speak lol."

ICYMI ... during the Globes on Sunday night, Selena rushed over to talk to her close friends Taylor Swift and Keleigh Teller, Miles Teller's wife. Her expression screamed hot goss and lipreading "experts" immediately got to work cracking the code.

Some interpreted it as her gossiping about Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner ... even though SG later denied it, saying she was discussing two other pals of hers.

Now as for Emily ... she and husband John Krasinski hit the red carpet before the event and, through their smiles, JK seemed to say a word that sounded suspiciously like "divorce."

Of course, the internet went crazy. Blunt and Krasinski are a beloved couple and the thought of them divorcing threw corners of the internet into turmoil ... until a helpful TikToker pointed out he easily could've been complaining about the elements saying, "I can't wait til we're indoors."

We gotta say ... that makes a whole lot more sense than talking about a pending divorce nonchalantly in front of dozens of red carpet cameras, especially if you're trying to keep it a secret. Their body language also didn't telegraph any trouble in paradise, FWIW.

Selena and Emily could've ended up telling each other what was really said in each convo last Sunday ... but eagle-eyed fans won't get another chance to figure it out, unfortunately.

Tom Holland is speaking up about all the speculation he and Zendaya are dunzo, and he's saying it simply isn't true ... issuing an outright denial to the notion they've split.

The 'Spider-Man' star was out and about Friday in L.A., walking through an alley with a pal as they made their way to Tom's parked car ... and a photog was waiting to chat him up about all the breakup buzz..

Dude tried congratulating TH on a new 'Back to the Future' gig -- which isn't real, BTW -- but then finally asked the obvious question ... are y'all broken up or not? Tom says "No, absolutely not." He doesn't elaborate further, but that's about as clear as he can be on this issue.

Of course, this all comes on the heels of what a lot of people took as red flags in the past couple weeks -- including Zendaya unfollowing everyone (Tom as well) ... not to mention the fact Tom and Zendaya haven't been photographed together in public in literally months.

Meanwhile, Zendaya herself was also out and about Friday -- we got video of her cruising around Culver City with her brother, Austin.

Unclear if they ended up buying anything, but as you can see ... they were pretty chipper on the way out as they headed back to their car, with Zen once again in the driver's seat.

Remember, Zendaya and Austin were photographed Wednesday as well -- driving around town and doing their own things ... solo. It is allowed when you're dating, but for what it's worth she was driving with her brother, and Tom was mobbin' around WeHo that night.

Fast-forward a few days, and they're still not together, but now ... Tom's saying they continue to be a couple.

Frankly, there's no smoking gun on them splitting up, anyway -- in fact, we'd been told by people with direct knowledge the duo spent NYE together. The fact they haven't been hanging out together in public these past couple weeks doesn't necessarily mean they're done.

It just means they've got individual lives -- plus, Zendaya and Tom are notoriously private as it is ... so this might just be par for the course.

Sen. Chuck Schumer is one of a handful of lawmakers signaling a major shift in the U.S. government's approach to UFO reports -- further evidence people in power believe the truth needs to be uncovered.

The third part of the docuseries event, "TMZ Presents: UFO Revolution" examines who's leading the charge in Washington, DC, why they're doing it ... and what it means to the public.

Schumer and Sen. Mike Rounds introduced bipartisan legislation last year -- the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) -- to increase the government's transparency on reports of UAP activity, and it was passed last month.

Another critical voice in the fight for disclosure is Stanford Professor Dr. Garry Nolan, and he says the very public involvement of prominent lawmakers, particularly Schumer, proves UAP (or UFOs) are no longer a fringe issue.

As Garry puts it in episode 3, available now on Tubi, Schumer wouldn't sponsor the NDAA and risk reputation -- especially in a presidential election year -- if he didn't believe there's something behind it.

Schumer was also a close friend of the late Sen. Harry Reid -- one of the trailblazers of the UFO movement -- and that's another reason he's pushing for transparency.

Filmmaker and journalist Jeremy Corbell, who's been leading our investigation, says getting DC "pit bulls" on board could potentially take this search for answers to places he never before thought possible.

Of course, Meryl recently came aboard as the newest big star on Marty's hit show "Only Murders in the Building" -- so that's how they're recently connected in showbiz, but they've been friendly for years now. Fact is, they're some of the biggest stars in the game.

The news of them possibly being a couple obviously got a lot of people excited -- 'cause, fact is, they're both unattached and single ... something we just recently learned about Meryl.

Remember, she announced late last year that she and her longtime husband, Don Gummer, had been separated for years now ... noting they were no longer romantically involved. It was very Will Smith/Jada Pinkett -- so yes, Meryl is technically on the market, as is Marty.

Bradley Cooper doesn't have a shiny new Golden Globe award, but that didn't dampen his Sunday night as he got in some QT with his rumored GF, Gigi Hadid, and his mom Gloria.

The matching trio -- all head-to-toe in black -- headed to a private dinner at L.A's Giorgio Baldi around 9:20 PM after the award show. They left the restaurant separately ... Gigi headed out around 11:30 PM, and was sporting a sentimental 'Kai' necklace for the daughter she shares with her ex, Zayn Malik.

Here's what the Internet thinks Selena said ... "I asked for a picture with him and she said no." Taylor looks shocked to hear this, and then the friend next to her asks if Selena means Timothée Chalamet ... and Selena confirms with the biggest, most exaggerated head gesture ever.

Of course, Kylie and Tim were in the building too ... and they were getting cozy throughout the show. It's unclear if/when Selena might've gone over there to chat -- but if what fans think they're seeing here is true ... it's interesting considering the interlinked history from all sides.

For starters, there's perceived bad blood between Selena and Kylie ... as well as with Hailey Bieber -- 'memba the whole "Mean Girls" eyebrows things? -- but they tried stamping that out.

When it comes to TC ... Selena shot a movie with the dude years ago, as love interests.

In a sneek peek of an upcoming 'RHOBH' episode, Kyle is sitting around a table having drinks with her castmates, including Dorit Kemsley and Crystal Kung Minkoff.

Seemingly out of the blue, Kyle asks if the other housewives would ever date a woman. While taking a sip from her glass, Dorit almost spits out her wine in shock over the question Kyle posed.

Minkoff throws the words back at Kyle, asking, "Would you?" Kyle thinks about it for a moment before nodding and giving a short, yet revealing response, "Yup."

In another scene from the trailer, Kyle seems anxiety-ridden over an obscure decision she must make, while staring at her phone with Morgan next to her. Biting her lip, Kyle says, "I'm so anxious. I really don't know if I can do it."

But, Morgan has Kyle's back, telling her, "You got it."

In February 2022, Kyle and Morgan met in person after first communicating over social media, quickly becoming friends and hanging out all the time. Speculation began to grow the two were an item as Kyle's marriage to Mauricio hit the skids.

Talk about drama. We'll have to see how all of this shakes out.
