A freshman high school football player in Minnesota is currently paralyzed after the 15-year-old boy suffered a serious spinal cord injury during his first game of the season ... and his family fears he'll never have use of his arms and legs again.

The terrible incident happened when the Jefferson High Jaguars played Chaska in Bloomington, MN on Sept. 2.

Ethan Glynn -- who plays on defense -- was severely injured after making a tackle in the first quarter. Jaguars' coach Tim Carlson told local media outlet, KSTP, that Ethan tripped before making the tackle, sending him headfirst into the opponent.

The hard hit to the top of the head left the teenager motionless on the field ... and now his family says he has no feeling in his extremities.

"He suffered a severe neck & spinal cord injury that has left him paralyzed from the shoulders down," Glynn's family said on the CaringBridge.

"He has a long road ahead of him but he is a fighter and we have no doubt that he will give it his all."

Ethan's already endured multiple surgeries ... and his family says he met with his physical and occupational therapist on Thursday.

"He has excelled at using the communication board," the family said, "which has allowed him to take in some sports highlights, a movie & communicate with us!"

A fundraiser has been started to help Ethan's family with the ever-mounting medical bills ... and as of Thursday afternoon, they've already raised over $120K on GoFundMe.

"We are lucky to have such amazing support," the family said on the GoFundMe page.

Besides football, Ethan was also the captain of Jefferson's hockey team.

F1 superstar Lewis Hamilton is hoping for the best amid growing concerns about Queen Elizabeth's health ... saying he's praying for and thinking about the Royal Family during the troubling time.

The British driver -- who's currently preparing for the Italian Grand Prix this weekend -- took a moment to share kind words for Her Majesty on Thursday ... saying, "I think she's been such a strong leader for such a long, long time and so resilient."

"I know she's always been a real fighter, so my thoughts are with her. Obviously, I don't have any other more information so I don't know more about the situation."

Lewis -- who received his Member of the Order of the British Empire from the Queen in 2009 -- has met her several times over the course of his dominant career ... and has previously called her a "sweet woman" and "cool."

"My thoughts are with the family," Hamilton added. "My thoughts are with her. My prayers are with them. Hoping for better news soon."

96-year-old Queen Elizabeth II will remain under doctors' care as concerns over her health continue to grow, this according to a new statement from Buckingham Palace.

"Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen's doctors are concerned for Her Majesty's health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral," the palace statement, released Thursday, said.

The Queen's son Prince Charles, her grandson Prince William and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, are heading to Balmoral to be with her. It was also just announced Harry and Meghan are on their way to join the rest of the family.

On Tuesday, Queen Elizabeth hung out with Britain’s new Prime Minister Liz Truss, but she looked kind of frail. Upon hearing the news about the Queens' health, Truss tweeted that "the whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime. My thoughts – and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom – are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time."

Recently, the Queen's health has deteriorated and her Royal duties have been scaled back over the past year. Several trips she would normally take have been canceled by her doctors with no explanation given.

Eminem is opening up about nearly losing his life after suffering a drug overdose years ago.

On the new episode of Paul Rosenberg's "Paul Pod" podcast, Eminem and his manager discuss his 2007 methadone overdose ... and the effects it had on his thinking cap.

Paul recalls asking the doctors about any potential brain damage when things were looking grim in the hospital. Naturally, the two managed to revert the scary moment back to Em's 1999 track "Brain Damage."

Eminem had to eventually be stabilized on several medications to return to health, which became an artistic branding moment for him.

In the song "Deja Vu" from his 2009 album "Relapse," Eminem rapped in detail about the incident and how he tried to hide his addiction from his loved ones.

"Okay, so now ya see the reason how come he, Has taken four years to just put out an album, B/See, me and you, we almost had the same outcome, Heath," Slim Shady spit, referencing Heath Ledger's 2008 overdose death ... before continuing, "Cause that Christmas, you know the whole pneumonia thing?/It was bologna, was it the methadone, ya think?"

Interestingly enough, Dr. Dre recently opened up about his own brush with death, revealing his 2021 brain aneurysm was nearly fatal all the same ... but the Shady/Aftermath tandem appear to be in good enough health to work on new music.

Both Em and Dre have been spotted in and out of studios with Snoop Dogg this year following their Emmy-winning Super Bowl performance from February.

Bam Margera bounced early from substance abuse treatment and hit up a tavern ... and he's no longer speaking to his parents.

TMZ obtained video showing Bam leaving a bar in Florida with a mystery woman. We're told Bam was at 57 Tavern in Sarasota until about 1 AM Monday, and it looks like he needed help walking out the front door.

Sources close to Bam tell TMZ ... he left treatment Sunday and has been telling friends and family he met a new lawyer friend in rehab who told Bam he could help him get out of his court-ordered rehab by leaving the state.

Our sources say Bam is shacking up at a family friend's house in Florida ... but as of last week, he's no longer speaking to his mother and father. He also has not heard from his estranged wife Nikki or seen his son Phoenix since he returned to rehab at the end of June.

We've seen this pattern before from Bam ... back in June, he fled a Florida rehab center, was reported missing, surfaced at a bar, got tracked down by the cops and was taken back for treatment.

The Weeknd abruptly canceled his Los Angeles show last week after losing his voice -- but his road to recovery is going great -- so says the singer's medical team.

Abel made the happy announcement Tuesday, just days after Saturday night's show at SoFi Stadium, writing, "doctor says my voice is safe and with rest i'll be solid and able to bring the show my TORONTO fans are waiting for. LA date is being worked out soon. thank you SO much for all the love and understanding that's come my way. i love you all so much ... XO"

September 22 will mark the singer's return to the stage for a previously postponed show in Toronto, The Weeknd's hometown. As we previously reported, that show was pushed after a cellular outage caused security and tech issues that prevented the concert from happening.

It was only 15 mins into Saturday's show in L.A. when Abel disappeared from the stage during "I Can't Feel My Face" ... only to come out a couple minutes later to let the crowd know he had lost his voice during a previous song.

The Weeknd was visibly devastated, getting choked up as he announced the show needed to end way early.

Justin Bieber is pulling the plug on his world tour ... saying he has to make his health a priority.

Bieber's tour -- Justice World Tour -- has been rolling along since March, but there are still 70 shows left that will run until March 2023, and those are the shows that have now been suspended.

Bieber seems to be saying part of the reason for suspending is physical, and part is mental.

He said, after recently performing in Brazil, "After getting off the stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realize that I need to make my health the priority right now."

He went on ... "So I'm going to take a break from touring for the time being. I'm going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better."

A source with direct knowledge tells TMZ, a significant reason for the suspension is mental health ... Justin's been struggling in the last few years and it has taken its toll. Another reason is his recent health scare which partially paralyzed his face.

Debbie Rowe, Michael Jackson's ex-wife and mother of 2 of his children, worked for a Beverly Hills dermatologist for decades, and for the first time, she reveals a shocking story of how Dr. Arnie Klein traded drugs for entry into the celebrity lifestyle.

Rowe has never done an interview before ... she will not talk about Michael Jackson. Rowe appears in the TMZ special, "Who Really Killed Michael Jackson" on Fox Network Tuesday night at 8 PM.

As you'll see in the documentary, Dr. Klein plied Michael with massive doses of Demerol on an almost daily basis in the months leading up to his death.

Rowe says powerful people would call Klein, invite him to a party and ask for drugs as party favors. Rowe says on party night there'd be 90 Percocet pills or other drugs in a candy dish. She says he regularly traded drugs for access.

The Weeknd barely got started performing the second of his 2 sold-out shows in L.A. Saturday night when he lost his voice ... and he was almost in tears.

SoFi Stadium was packed with 70,000 fans when 15 minutes in the band started playing "Can't Feel My Face." Thing is ... the Weeknd was nowhere to be seen.

Turns out he was backstage as the song played, trying to figure out what to do because had had no voice. Something happened during the previous song -- he yelled and apparently it blew out his vocal cords.

The audience didn't know what was up ... the song played and there was no Weeknd in sight. When the song ended, he came onstage and told the crowd, "It's killing me," but the show had to abruptly end because he had no voice.

He said, fighting back tears, "I can't give you the concert I want to give you," promising everyone would get their money back and he would reschedule soon.

The Weeknd was profusely apologetic and clearly emotional. This was a big part of his After Hours Til Dawn Tour, and he knew how much the show meant to his fans.

You hear pretty much the entire crowd was on Weeknd's side, applauding him for being transparent.

After he left the venue, The Weeknd posted, "My voice went out during the first song and I’m devastated. Felt it go and my heart dropped. I promise I'll make it up to you with a new date."

This isn't the first speed bump for the tour ... it was postponed twice before because of the pandemic.

Anne Heche was not rescued immediately after her car slammed into an L.A. home and caught the house on fire -- not even close -- it took the fire dept. 45 minutes to rescue her.

New information has surfaced from the L.A. Fire Dept. ... a timeline of the horrendous crash that took the actress's life. According to the records, obtained by NBC4 LA, the blaze was so intense firefighters couldn't even get near Anne's car for at least 20 minutes ... once there, it took an additional 20 minutes to extricate the vehicle from the burning home.

An L.A. fire chief says the combination of smoke and fire made it nearly impossible to see or approach the car.

Firefighters arrived at 11:01 AM but apparently they were unsure if someone was in the car. 21 minutes later, it appears they confirmed someone was inside the vehicle.

Then, 3 minutes later, they found Anne inside the car. One of the responders said, "We have identified one patient, inaccessible at this time, he's pushed up against the floorboard!"

According to firefighters, Anne was not in the driver's seat ... a fire official said, "I will say that where the person was in the vehicle was not in the driver's seat, but on the floorboard of the passenger seat."

Just before 11:50 Anne was removed from her Mini Cooper.

Jane Fonda has a lot of people rooting for her, after just revealing she's been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

The 84-year-old Hollywood legend made the announcement Friday, saying she's already started chemo treatments, and that she feels very lucky, as it's treatable and about 80% of people diagnosed survive.

In true and incredible Jane fashion, she also took a moment to bring awareness on the importance of health care and as an advocate for it to be affordable to everyone, saying, "Almost every family in America has had to deal with cancer at one time or another and far too many don’t have access to the quality health care I am receiving and this is not right."

Jane says she'll be doing chemo for 6 months, and is handling the treatments quite well ... letting everyone know she won't let the diagnosis interfere with her climate activism.

She says, "We also need to be talking much more not just about cures but about causes so we can eliminate them. For example, people need to know that fossil fuels cause cancer. So do pesticides, many of which are fossil fuel-based, like mine."

Continuing, "We’re living through the most consequential time in human history because what we do or don’t do right now will determine what kind of future there will be and I will not allow cancer to keep me from doing all I can, using every tool in my toolbox and that very much includes continuing to build this Fire Drill Fridays community and finding new ways to use our collective strength to make change."

She finishes with a call to action, "The midterms are looming, and they are beyond consequential so you can count on me to be right there together with you as we grow our army of climate champions."

It's the dawning of a new era in the talk show world ... because promotion has begun for Sherri Shepherd's new daytime talk show, which is moving into the exact spot where "The Wendy Williams Show" once stood.

A huge poster for "Sherri" went up in NYC Thursday ... right outside Chelsea Studios, where Wendy shot her daytime program -- and where Sherri's show will film.

Not only is Sherri movin' into the same studio, but a billboard for Wendy's show used to be in that EXACT same spot.

Production sources tell TMZ ... the studio redesign's coming along pretty well ... with the set displaying bright, cheery colors, including light blue and yellow tones to reflect Sherri's personality, similar to the look from the poster.

We're told the show is pretty much booked well into the Fall, and our sources say viewers can expect some of Sherri's famous celeb pals to come through during the premiere week.

One person who won't be watching the new show is Wendy, she made that clear to Fat Joe in an interview a few weeks back, saying, "I like her, but I won’t be watching her because I know what she’s gonna be doing and that’s really not my thing. Um, you know? You know what I’m saying?"

As we reported, Sherri got Wendy's spot back in February after becoming a permanent guest host for her talk show ... following the decline in Wendy's health. Sherri announced her big gig while filling in.

Eli Palfreyman -- a rising junior ice hockey star -- has died after he collapsed during a preseason tournament game on Tuesday in Ontario.

He was only 20 years old.

Palfreyman -- who was in his 2nd year with the Ayr Centennials of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League -- collapsed while he and his team were in the locker room during the first intermission of their Ayr Farmers Mutual Global Invitational tournament game at the North Dumfries Community Complex.

Waterloo Regional Police tell us officers arrived at the arena after receiving a medical emergency call, adding that "members of the community assisted the individual until emergency services attended."

Palfreyman was transported to Cambridge Memorial Hospital but, tragically, he was pronounced dead. A cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Palfreyman's Ayr Centennials team is heartbroken over his passing ... saying in a statement, "Thank you all for the outpouring of love for our beloved captain and beautiful young man Eli."

"Words cannot describe how much it means to his family/Cens family. We are all broken but feel your arms around us ❤️ #RIP17 ❤️"

Palfreyman was just named team captain for this upcoming season ... and said last Friday he was honored to receive the title.

The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League has postponed all games scheduled for this week "out of respect for Eli and his family."

North Dumfries Township Mayor Sue Foxton also ordered flags to be flown at half-mast as a tribute to the hockey player.

Viral sensation Daddy Long Neck is dealing with some scary family drama ... his baby boy is in the hospital and his baby mama's new boyfriend has been arrested for allegedly beating the child.

Daddy Long Neck, who went viral back in 2019, and his mother tell TMZ ... the rapper's 9-month-old son, David Alfredo Samuelson Lopez, is in a Los Angeles hospital after suffering skull fractures and brain bleeding.

DLN says he flew from Michigan to L.A. over the weekend when his baby mama informed him their son had been hospitalized, and he claims a social worker told him his ex's new lover had been arrested for allegedly abusing the child.

The Montebello Police Department says officers responded to a local hospital Aug. 26 to comb through medical reports showing severe injuries sustained by an infant, and detectives eventually arrested Daemien Obeso and booked him for child abuse causing great bodily injury.

Daddy Long Neck says his kid is finally off life support and is now able to breathe on his own ... but we're told the child is still in critical condition.

Country music singer Luke Bell battled severe bipolar disorder for years before recently going missing and being found dead ... and his manager says he'd disappeared a few times before.

Luke's business manager, Brian Buchanan, tells TMZ ... the singer tried to cope with bipolar disorder, but could never find a solution that worked for him. When Luke disappeared in the past, Brian says they were always able to track him down.

We're told the singer-songwriter was prescribed medication, but his manager wasn't sure if Luke was taking his meds earlier this month when he went missing in Arizona.

Cops say Luke's body was discovered Friday in Tucson, and Brian tells us he'd vanished one night while getting food in the area with his musician friend Matt Kinman.

We're told Luke and Matt were in Tucson to visit Matt's family and play some gigs. Matt had searched for Luke for at least 10 days before the body was found.

Police say an investigation is ongoing ... and we're told an autopsy is underway to determine the cause of death.

Luke's manager tells us ... "Luke fought this as hard as he could, but the disease got the better of him. When he was beating the disease, he was the sweetest and most generous guy. He's found peace now and there's some comfort."

Luke was 32.

Twenty One Pilots frontman Tyler Joseph took a nasty fall in the middle of the band's show ... messing his leg up pretty bad thanks to a rogue drumstick.

The band took the stage in Cleveland, OH Tuesday night ... the crowd was as hyped as Tyler and co. were throughout the night, especially when the singer jumped off a high platform to run across the stage -- big mistake.

You can see Tyler slip and crash onto an elevated part of the stage ... while he seemed to recover quickly, things looked worse for wear after the show ended.

The band posted an explanation backstage, with drummer Josh Dun saying he dropped one of his sticks on stage -- something he rarely does.

He says it was unfortunately Tyler who found the stick with his foot, twisting his ankle in the process and slicing his knee open.

Josh felt pretty bad about leaving his stick out there, but don't fret, Tyler -- dinner's on him!!!
