Nothing could stop Josh Gad from getting into the Christmas spirit a little early this year ... not even his irritated wife.

We got Olaf from the 'Frozen' movies outside BUILD NYC Tuesday, and along with celebrating the sequel becoming the biggest animated movie opening ever in November ... he's celebrating the holiday season.

Josh tells us he's already got the Christmas tree up at this house, so he's not one to judge those who can't wait until Thanksgiving's over to bust out the decorations.

Sounds like his wife is, though -- Gad says she's "really pissed off" he couldn't show some restraint with his yuletide joy. Sorry, Mrs. Gad, but a $360 million worldwide box office debut will do that for ya.

And, if she's in a Scrooge mood now, it probably won't help when Josh doesn't take the tree down until the Super Bowl.

We gotta ask, whose side are you on with this one -- Josh or his wife?

Cedric the Entertainer is getting us all in the holiday spirit ... lending his unique voice to a new Christmas album, and taking his first nutcrack at singing!!!

Cedric's already conquered the world of comedy, movies and television ... and now he's making his singing debut on the holiday EP, "A Powerbase Christmas." Ya gotta listen to his version of "Winter Wonderland."

Yes, in the tradition of Bing Crosby, Michael Buble and Johnny Mathis -- Cedric's in the meadow building a snowman ... with a bit more swag.

Give it a listen ... makes ya wonder what took Cedric so long to lay down his first vocals?

Joining Cedric on the 7-track 'Powerbase Christmas' are Grammy-nominated artists Dave Koz and Rascall Flatts' Gary LeVox -- plus Sonna Rele, Sheléa, MAJOR, Matt Cusson, Suri White, Brittany LeVox and pop-country trio Auburn Road.

Other classic tunes on the record -- which comes out on Black Friday -- include "Silver Bells," "Last Christmas" and "Christmas Time is Here." Ced doesn't sing on all of them, but he produced the whole shebang.

Todd and Julie Chrisley wanna get the hell outta Dodge for Thanksgiving and spend it in the Cayman Islands ... but first, they need permission.

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ ... the Chrisleys are asking the judge in their federal tax evasion case for permission to temporarily obtain their passports so they can travel to the Cayman Islands for about a week during Thanksgiving.

The Chrisleys say they'll fly commercial and stay at a resort condo ... where they say they wanna spend time with their children and grandchild to celebrate the holiday.

As we've reported ... as part of the conditions in their bond release, the Chrisleys are restricted to travel in Georgia and Tennessee. They can also travel to Cali to tape their reality show, but they have to notify their probation officers first.

The Chrisleys say they'll provide a full itinerary of their travel to their probation officer and immediately surrender the passports once they return from their vacay. For what it's worth ... the Chrisleys say the U.S. Attorney's Office does not object to their request ... an indication the travel request has a good chance of getting the judge's approval seal.

The judge, however, has yet to rule on the request.

Ben Affleck is trying to get past falling off the wagon by moving forward with work ... even if he looks a little worse for wear.

Ben was spotted Tuesday with a script in hand in New Orleans as he prepared to begin shooting his new film, "Deep Water." Unclear if Ben's disheveled look -- messy hair, scraggly beard, wearing sweats and a stained t-shirt -- was part of his role. It's worth noting ... he's supposed to play Vic Van Allen, an attractive husband.

Anyway ... it's the first time we've seen Ben on the set since he relapsed nearly 2 weeks ago. As we've reported ... Ben was spotted leaving a Halloween party and clearly had trouble walking. He damn near fell before catching himself on an SUV.

Ben later acknowledged he stumbled in his effort to maintain sobriety. After leaving that party ... Ben hit up a casino. And, while he pocketed $1,500 in winnings in just 12 minutes of gambling, Ben could barely stand and nearly fell out of his chair. The next day, he said he vowed to get back on the straight and narrow.

Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds got himself a new band -- or at least he did for one night, with one lucky group of musicians who were playing in the right place at the right time.

This video is pretty wild ... it all went down in Las Vegas last Thursday, Halloween, when Dan happened to be out trick-or-treating with his wife and 4 kids. During their hunt for candy around their hometown, we're told Dan and the fam stumbled upon a 3-man band -- dubbed Streetfolkband -- playing in their driveway.

Of course, the guys immediately recognized Dan and shot their shot ... asking him if he'd do the honors and jam with them. We're told Dan wanted to know if they knew any Imagine Dragons. Ha! They quickly responded with the 2013 Grammy-winning track "Radioactive."

And, Dan didn't just play a snippet. He rocked for the entire track -- while holding his toddler, mind you -- and gave a breathtaking performance soaked up by a pleased crowd.

Pretty cool moments throughout this vid -- from the lead guitarist's face lighting up after Dan belts out his first verse to Dan turning down the guitarist's high-five, in favor of a hug.

Chris Kirkpatrick thinks Jessica Biel deserves some king-size candy bars for this year's Halloween costume ... and even though his look-alike wasn't up to snuff, he's still proud of his retired hairdo.

We got Chris at LAX and our guy asks about Jessica dressing up as Justin Timberlake for an 'NSYNC group costume ... and he says she absolutely nailed it!!!

Yes, that's Jessica in the middle rocking what Chris describes as Justin's "old ramen noodle head."

Chris explains the backstory behind the costume ... it's payback from Justin after Jess told Jimmy Fallon she didn't know any of her husband's old 'NSYNC songs. Chris rated her costume for us, pretty generously. He was much less impressed with Justin's unhappy microphone.

The singer also throws some shade toward the guy who tried to recreate his "old pineapple head" from back in the day. Naturally, we asked Chris if he ever regrets that old style.

Kim Kardashian says her daughter had to be edited into a family Halloween photo 'cause the kid was scared of Kanye's costume -- but only as a dinosaur ... not a giant mutant bug.

Kim posted a couple of decked-out Halloween pics over the past couple days, and it looks like the Kardashian-West fam went with "The Flinstones" and worm themes this year. Funny enough, Kim admits little Chicago had to be photoshopped into the former shoot, seeing how she was apparently terrified of dad in the life-size Dino outfit and wouldn't get near it.

On the flip side ... it looks like Chicago was able to pull it together for a way creepier family photo, where everyone dressed up as bugs -- or as Kim puts it, "West Worms."

If you ask us, Ye looks a lot scarier and more menacing as the fly/gnat/larva ... whatever the hell that is ... as opposed to the lovable Flinstones pet. But, hey, to a 1-year-old ... maybe Dino is the freakier sight. Better not put any Barney on around her ... just a suggestion.

Of the photoshop job, Kim said ... "This family pic was such a challenge because Chicago was so scared of Dino! LOL We tried to explain and show her that it was just daddy but she didn’t get the concept yet!" She went on to add, "So shout out to the photographer for editing her in & making our family Flintstones dreams come true!"

Kim also posted a BTS video of her and fam wearing their bug outfits -- set to soprano Lorna Anderson's soothing voice -- and it looks like Kanye had to win Chicago over there too.

Chrissy Teigen says John Legend got tipsy and then belted out one of his most famous tunes to a theme park crowd ... leaving him sounding quite different than his usual self.

The model posted a video Saturday of her hubby on stage at Universal Studios from the night before, saying JL had a bit too much of the vino ... which put him in a melodic mood. She tweeted, "John got wine drunk and sang a song at universal studios last night."

Wearing what appeared to be a onesie with his mug stitched on, the singer could be heard attempting to get the lyrics out to his 2013 hit, "All Of Me." Key word ... attempting.

Not to say that John sounded that bad here ... he still crooned better than any Joe even with a bit of booze in his system. But, he's certainly not as polished as he normally is, especially when he tries to hit that high note on the post-chorus "all of me" part. Yeesh ...

As for John ... he had a slightly different version of events, not mentioning any wine in his own post.

He says he and the fam went to Halloween Horror Nights before they shut down, with matching onesies as the costume theme. On the singing moment, he writes ... "Then I found a reluctant DJ with a mic and serenaded myself. It was a night."

Either way, the crowd (and Chrissy) seemed to love every bit of it. Take it away, John!!!

The New York Giants star receiver was at Moxy on Thursday night ... and with his wife dressed as a cop supervising him -- he made a bid to win best costume of the night.

"I'm letting you know right now, I'm snitchin'!" Tate hilariously told us. "Go to work!"

Golden eventually got out of character to answer some questions for us ... and he said he believes his Giants have a chance to turn things around in the 2nd half of the season.

Of course, the G-men haven't looked so hot in 2019 ... they're just 2-6 and are big-time underdogs against the Dallas Cowboys on "Monday Night Football" next week.

But, Tate tells us, "We know we're a good team, we just got to put it all together consistently."

Heidi Klum did not disappoint when she revealed her highly-anticipated costume ... and ditto for the rest of the celebs who showed up.

Heidi arrived for her 20th annual Halloween bash Thursday night at Cathédrale Restaurant at Moxy East Village in NYC where she arrived in her goriest costume to date. Call it a mashup of alien and robot ... with faux guts and brains exposed and bolts and pipes attached to her body.

It took 12 hours to perfect the look ... and when it was complete she had a hankerin' to scare the bajeezus outta our camera guy.

Mariah Carey, Coco Austin, Ice-T and Reggie Bush were also on hand.

Over on the West Coast ... Kourtney Kardashian looked giddy in a cowgirl outfit for Kendall Jenner's shindig at the Blind Dragon in WeHo. Gigi Hadid looked SSSMOKIN!!!!

Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson aren't just a fun couple -- they're a couple having fun with their fans ... especially for Halloween, when they opted for a 'Wedding' themed costume.

Miledy, or Comiley -- your choice -- busted out the eyeliner, spiked hair and leather to step out in NYC as Billy Idol and his 80s rocker GF, Perri Lister.

Idol and Lister were a music power couple in NYC after Idol released his 1983 album, "Rebel Yell." Now, Cody and Miley could've posted themselves rocking to any number of Idol hits -- "Rebel Yell," "Eyes Without a Face" come to mind -- but they went with "White Wedding."

Not that we think their whirlwind romance is heading to an altar anytime soon -- but they gotta know using that track will keep fans buzzing.

If the song wasn't enough -- there's also the PDA they packed on throughout the night ... including this half-naked one to end their evening. "After party" indeed!!!

Mariah Carey's blown away by what Kanye West is doing at his Sunday Services, and she plans to take a page out of his book ... to make Christmas even better!!!

The legendary singer was leaving Heidi Klum's Halloween party in NYC -- dressed up as the front woman for an '80s hair band -- when we asked about her song "My All" which Ye featured at a recent Service.

She tells us it's incredible and she loves what he's doing with the choir and church service aspect at the events ... and she's going to incorporate it into her upcoming Christmas shows.

Carey had previously tweeted that Kanye's choir was "killing this arrangement and song!" and added ... "I neeeed to speak to whoever put the arrangement together and rewrote the lyrics.. Beautiful. Thank you." Sounds like she got what she wanted.

If ya don't know, Mariah's been hyping up the rerelease of her iconic Xmas album, "Merry Christmas," which came out 25 years ago ... along with her All I Want For Christmas Is You Tour.

She's been playing with her fans on social media by telling them they gotta wait, but now that Friday, November 1 has arrived ... she says it's officially time to get in the spirit.

BTW -- according to Mariah's IG, her Halloween costume is part of a fictitious hair metal band called Spit ... and she's their lead singer, Mimi.

Robert Kraft, R. Kelly, Tekashi 6ix9ine, Lil Nas X, Billy Ray Cyrus, Taylor Swift and many more celebs were all fair game ... along with the college admissions scandal and the chicken sandwich wars.

Of course, there's gotta be some movie love, and we didn't disappoint with characters new and old like Mr. Rogers, the Genie from "Aladdin," Harley Quinn, Jack Torrance, the dog from "Legally Blonde" and the entire main cast of "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood."

Halloween's a lot like all the other holidays in one major way ... celebrities seem to have more fun doing it.

Huge stars like Drake, Kylie Jenner, LeBron James, Kevin Hart, Megan Thee Stallion, Jordyn Woods, Sofia Richie, Kyle Kuzma and a bunch more went all out with their costume selections ... which range from hot Disney princesses to Edward Scissorhands.

Of course, it wouldn't be Halloween if some famous folks didn't dress up as other famous folks, which is why Hart went as his pal, The Rock (in his infamous '90s fanny pack look), Kuzma rocked a Blueface costume ... and Drake got done up like his dad.

The good news ... the NBA superstar doesn't seem concerned about the fires near his home anymore. He partied at the Dream Hotel on Tuesday night wearing a Halloween mask.

The bad news ... WEAK COSTUME, BRO!!!

Don't get it wrong, we love Mario Bros. -- Luigi is the beloved neglected younger brother -- but a dinky little mask?! You're better than that Bron!!!

Fact is, the Lakers star has had a rough week -- he was evacuated from his Brentwood home early Monday morning due to the raging Getty Fire and moved into a nearby hotel.

Unclear if Bron is back in his home yet (the fire is still a threat according to officials), but James sent a taco truck to the first responders on Tuesday to show his appreciation.

Great work, now upgrade that mask!!!
