A young actress playing a young version of "Dora the Explorer" could make less than $10,000 for her role in the upcoming live-action movie -- the question now ... is the studio swiping her of due dough?

According to Madelyn Miranda's minors contract -- obtained by TMZ -- the 9-year-old will receive $8,420 for a guaranteed week's worth of filming. She'll get around $3,500 a week if she films anything beyond that. Production starts Wednesday.

Considering her parts will probably only come up in flashbacks in the film -- Isabela Moner is playing a fully grown Dora as the main character -- we imagine she'll be collecting the bare minimum here.

There are a couple more perks though -- Madelyn will also get put up in a swanky hotel while on the job, and be given a daily allowance of $65. PLUS, she gets to fly business class during production. SCORE!!! ... maybe? The kid's only 9, so maybe she'll appreciate the relatively modest haul compared to some of her child star contemporaries ... who usually go on to make boatloads more for a sequel. Baby steps, we suppose.

Now, ya gotta wonder if Boots, Backpack and The Map are getting as good of a deal here.

Cardi B wouldn't change a damn thing about her decision to attack Nicki Minaj -- in fact, she'd even chuck her shoe again in that same situation ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to Cardi tell us the "I Like It" MC feels zero remorse about her dustup with Nicki this weekend at a New York Fashion Week event. Our sources are adamant -- Cardi was simply defending her daughter's honor after hearing Nicki had been talking trash about her family ... and she'd still sling her stiletto if she had to do it all over again.

Cardi thinks Nicki has some nerve saying SHE needs an intervention, when Nicki is the one who incites people almost for sport. Nicki denied speaking ill about Cardi's baby on Queen Radio. Cardi says that's just a baldfaced lie.

She also warned Cardi would "die" if she continued to attack people in such brazen fashion -- while going on to call the run-in mortifying and embarrassing.

We should make clear that Cardi isn't seeking Nicki out for another round -- only that she would do the exact same thing she did last week if a similar situation presents itself in the future.

The football genes run in the Gore family ... because Frank Gore's son just got his first major NCAA scholarship offer to Kentucky -- and the high school star tells us he's already better than his dad!

Okay, he's joking around ... but Frank Gore Jr. is legit on the field -- a star running back at Killian High School in Miami where he's already making a name for himself as a junior.

"I can return the ball, I can catch the ball, I can run the ball," Gore Jr. tells TMZ Sports.

As for the comparison with his father -- a 5-time Pro Bowler who's been in the NFL since 2005 -- FG2 has his sights set on being the best football player in his family.

"He's one dimensional -- he can run the ball. I'm shifty, I'm faster than him. But he's stronger, that's it. I'm more explosive."

In fact ... Frank Jr. says it's his pops who's helping him the most when it comes to football and his recruiting process!!

"He talks to me about my name, he knows that people are going to try to come at me differently," Gore Jr. says.

"He just tells me keep your head straight up on, and God has a plan."

As for where Gore Jr. will eventually end up -- everyone assumes it'll be the University of Miami like Sr. ... but the younger Gore tells us that's not entirely set in stone.

Nicki Minaj straight-up said, if Cardi B does to others like she did to Nicki, she's gonna get killed.

Nicki appeared on Queen Radio Monday in the wake of Cardi B's attack Friday at New York Fashion Week, and said, "You put your hands on certain people you gon die. PERIOD. And y'all sitting here making this s*** a joke? I'm not the bitches in the strip club and I'm not a bitch on a reality show. My money is very f***ing long."

Short story ... Nicki thinks other people would have been far more aggressive than her if Cardi B zeroed in on them the same way she did Nicki.

Nicki also says she was mortified by Cardi B's attack this weekend, and insists she never spoke ill of baby Kulture ... despite Cardi's claim. She clarified she has never and would never talk smack about someone else's parenting skills or child.

We broke the story ... Cardi confronted Nicki at the Harper's Bazaar party in NYC to "address the lies Nicki was spreading," saying Nicki questioned her fitness as a mother.

Cardi tried attacking Nicki but was thwarted by security ... then chucked her shoe in Nicki's direction. CB was the one who walked away -- sans one shoe -- with a knot above her eye.

The "I Like It" rapper later went on social media to call out Nicki, saying ... "I've let a lot of s*** slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me ... But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f***in off!!" Cardi doesn't specify what comments Nicki made or liked.

Matt Barnes has just obtained a temporary restraining order against his baby mama, Gloria Govan, in the wake of her arrest at their kids' school, TMZ Sports has learned.

As part of the court order, Govan must stay at least 100 yards away from the kids. She can see the kids once per week for 4 hours but a professional monitor has to be present -- and Gloria must foot the bill for the monitor.

Gloria is allowed to be near Matt to get the kids, but she must be peaceful.

Gloria is also not allowed to take the kids outside of L.A. County during her visitation unless she gets written permission from Matt.

Matt's attorney, Samantha Spector, tells TMZ Sports, "Today wasn't about Matt or Gloria. It was about the children and their safety. This was a good day for those kids, and that's all that matters."

The next hearing is scheduled for the end of Sept. -- where Gloria can argue to change the arrangement.

As we previously reported, cops arrested Govan on August 31 after she allegedly blocked Matt from picking up their 9-year-old twin boys on Matt's scheduled custodial day.

Matt claims Govan used her car as a weapon against him -- and claims he feared for his life (and the lives of his kids) and Gloria punched the gas in her Escalade and "[barreled] toward me."

"I am ever thankful that no child or parent was hit by Gloria and her 17-foot-long Escalade as she endangered every child's and adult's safety when she plowed through the parking lot."

In court docs, Matt claims Gloria put their children and other kids at the school in physical danger -- and Matt claims the twins have been traumatized by Gloria's actions and subsequent arrest.

Matt and Gloria got married back in 2012 but split almost 2 years later. Their divorce wasn't finalized until 2016.

Before she became the Notorious R.B.G. ... Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a high school twirler who also played for the school orchestra!

Turns out, a TMZ staffer's grandfather went to high school with Ruth at James Madison High School in southeast Brooklyn back in the day (class of 1950!) ... so we dug up the yearbook and found the Supreme Court justice back when she was an over-achieving teen!

According to the yearbook, Ruth had a busy extracurricular schedule -- which included being the treasurer of the Go-Getters club (a student pep group) and playing in the school orchestra.

She was also part of the "Twirlers" (guess that means baton twirling) and was the Secretary to the English Dept. chairman. She was also the feature editor of the term newspaper.

Pretty impressive for a high school senior -- and a prelude of big things to come for Ruth.

Cardi B's coping with serious issues since having Kulture, and says that's why she's calling for a time-out on a lawsuit against her ... according to new legal docs.

Cardi's legal team filed a motion asking for an extension of the deadline for her to answer lawyers' questions. The rapper was sued last year for using a tattooed model on her album cover because the plaintiff believes the image uses HIS tattoo design.

In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Cardi's lawyers say she suffered "unanticipated post-partum complications" that were significant enough to force her to cancel her tour with Bruno Mars, among other things.

They add that her condition has made it nearly impossible for her to fully participate in completing the investigation and sitting for a deposition.

As we reported ... Cardi had previously responded to the man's suit, saying the 2 people in question (the guy suing and the guy on her album cover) were completely different people, and that the alleged matching back ink isn't even really the same.

Here's Shaunie O'Neal -- Shaq's ex-wife -- telling the world that Kobe freakin' Bryant has PERSONALLY offered to train her kids in basketball ... but for some reason it hasn't happened yet.

We got Shaunie at LAX, and asked her about her son, Shaqir, being teamed up on the court with LeBron James Jr. at Crossroads school in Santa Monica.

We wanted to know if LeBron would be personally training the two boys, and while Shaunie couldn't answer that, she did tell us about another Laker great who's offered.

"Kobe always offers ... we're just so far from each other, but he always offers."

33,643 career points (3rd of all time), 2 NBA Finals MVPs, 5 championships. That's what Shaunie won't travel down the 5 freeway to have her kid get trained up by.

Kim Kardashian took a stroll on the beaches of Malibu Sunday, played some football and got in some kid time too.

Kim and North walked the sand in the Bu as Kim draped herself in a towel from the waist down. She wasn't just there alone though, Larsa Pippen, Kendall, and Kourtney also tagged along for the ride.

Kim played with a neon green football along the way, throwing some passes herself and playing some catch with Saint too ... check out how the ball matches her bikini.

The UFC is the gift that keeps on giving, especially if you're one of the guys who sold it for max profit ... and later got some of the biggest names in music for your kid's wedding.

Frank Fertitta's daughter, Kelley, got hitched this weekend in Vegas to her man, Tyler, in what turned out to be one hell of a shindig -- 'cause they got guys like Bruno Mars, John Mayer and Seal to perform live. Needless to say ... that can't come cheap.

It all went down Saturday at the Red Rock Casino, with Bruno clearly being the biggest name on the bill. Based on video that was taken up close, it looks like he had close to a full band performing with him ... and belted out a few songs as part of his set.

John Mayer's performance from the rehearsal dinner appeared to be a bit more low-key and subtle (that's kinda his thing) ... but Seal's time on the mic day-of seemed to be the most intimate. He was on the dance floor singing to (and with, honestly) the crowd around him. Other notable guests of honor included EDM DJ Marshmello ... and none other than the king of UFC himself, Dana White.

In case you weren't familiar, Frank and his brother, Lorenzo, bought UFC back in 2001 for $2 million ... and sold it just a couple years ago for a reported $4 BILLION. So yeah ... the Fertatti family's set for life. It's no wonder they could snag such A-list talent -- they're freakin' loaded!!

Offset loves playing the name game -- when it comes to tattoos -- and now he's got one on his cheek of his baby girl's name.

The Migos rapper showed off his new ink Saturday ... a giant "Kulture" tat on his face in honor of his daughter with Cardi B.

This isn't a first for Offset -- he's also got a tattoo on the other cheek with his youngest son's name and a big shoulder tat for his oldest son.

Cardi's not left out either ... he got her named inked on his neck earlier this year.

As for the couple's daughter ... we still haven't seen much of Kulture other than her name. Cardi did give us a glimpse of her last week in a pic with Offset ... and also shared a closeup her baby's lips on an Instagram story.

6:00 AM PT -- Govan was released after posting $100,000 bail.

"Basketball Wives" star Gloria Govan was arrested for felony child endangerment after a dangerous fight with her ex-husband ... which cops say put their kids at risk.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Gloria's kids were at their school Friday, about to get out for the day, and ex-husband Matt Barnes was scheduled to pick them up. We're told according to their child custody agreement, Matt had custody for the long, Labor Day weekend.

Our sources say at 2:55 PM -- 5 minutes before school let out -- Gloria arrived to get the twin boys. She got the children in her car and that's when Matt showed up and told her it was his weekend for the kids.

We're told Matt told the kids to get out of Gloria's car and into his. It appears the kids followed Matt's instructions, because we're told Gloria then flew into a rage, tried to follow Matt's car, screaming and cussing. Our sources say she then blocked Matt's car with the kids inside, and that's when someone called 911.

Gloria was arrested for child endangerment and also violating a court order. After police took Gloria to jail, they let Matt take the kids after he showed them paperwork he had custody this weekend.

Emma Gonzalez -- who survived the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and was one of the leaders of the anti-gun movement it spawned -- wants to lock down the rights to her famous "We Call BS" tagline.

Gonzalez took center stage at a gun control rally in Ft. Lauderdale back in February, just days after 17 people at her school were shot and killed. Gonzalez's speech took on politicians, the NRA and even Donald Trump. Below is a transcript from a portion of what Gonzalez said ...

"They say a good guy with a gun stops a bad guy with a gun. We call BS. They say guns are just tools like knives and are as dangerous as cars. We call BS. They say that no laws could have been able to prevent the hundreds of senseless tragedies that have occurred. We call BS."

Now, Gonzalez has applied to trademark the "We call BS" tagline. In docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Emma wants to use the phrase on everything from shirts and mugs to hats and bandanas.

It's clear why she wants the trademark, writing in the docs that her goal is, "Promoting the interests of concerned parties and promoting public awareness of the need for promoting gun safety."

4:00 PM PT -- Mel B says she is not a "raging alcoholic," though she does drink socially. She also denies she takes "illicit drugs," and says she's not a sex addict ... these are her responses to Belafonte's request for sole legal and physical custody.

Mel B claims Russell Updegraff's declaration in which he makes these claims has no credibility, because she says he's an ex employee who has an ax to grind, and he and Belafonte are hell bent in dragging her through the mud and ruining her reputation out of spite.

She says she is willing to submit to random drug testing for a limited period of time to prove she's a fit parent, and wants Stephen to do the same.

And, in her legal docs Mel B repeats her claim that Belafonte has abused her so badly she's suffering from PTSD.

Mel also agrees to submit to a child custody evaluation with psychological testing, because she strongly opposes Stephen getting full custody. She also states the following -- she's not a "sex addict" who brings home random men, she is not a raging alcoholic as Stephen paints her to be, she does not take illicit drugs ... and her children's well-being is her top priority

There's more ... Anthony Santa Maria -- Mel B's housekeeper and childcare services provider -- vouches for Mel in the docs, claiming he's never witnessed her drunk "or even buzzed," and he's never seen her do anything remotely dangerous or neglectful with her kids.

Short story ... Mel B says Belafonte is angry, hungry for media attention and he has waged a vicious campaign to destroy her so he can stay in the spotlight.

10:15 AM PT -- We've learned Mel B and Stephen reached a settlement in the judge's chambers. The details are confidential. On her way out of court, we asked Mel if she was going to rehab ... but she was mum.

Stephen Belafonte says Mel B isn't fit to retain custody of her children, because she's in the grip of an alcohol-fueled spiral ... so claims ex-husband Belafonte.

Belafonte appeared in court Friday, armed with documentation from people who have been close to Mel B. She showed up as well, covered in sweat.

One of the declarations Belafonte submitted is from Russell Updegraff, who said in legal docs he's been responsible for watching her 2 kids, Madison and Angel, who he says are at serious risk because of a profound drinking problem on Mel B's part.

Updegraff claims Mel B drinks daily ... often starting as early as 10 AM. He says the day begins with beer, and then turns to wine and eventually hard liquor ... including vodka, tequila and gin. He says Mel B typically passes out, awakes and then becomes mean and belligerent.

Updegraff says the drinking problem is so bad, she's asked him to go to the store and get 12 bottles of wine, 2 bottles of vodka and one to two 12-packs of beer ... which she consumes in 4 to 5 days.

According to Updegraff's declaration, Madison, who turns 7 Saturday, and 11-year-old Angel are scared and stressed. He claims Mel B was sometimes physically abusive to Angel, digging her nails into her, grabbing her and shaking her.

Updegraff also says Mel B has been a cocaine user, although the docs suggest the real issue now is alcohol.

And, Updegraff says Mel B often brings various men home, with the kids present. In one case, he says a strange man tried to bring Madison into the shower, and he had to intervene and stop him.

He also says Mel B would regularly leave town for 1 to 2 weeks at a time and never check in to see how the kids were doing.

The hearing will be held this morning. We will update when the judge rules.

Belafonte wants temporary custody of kids so Mel B can go to rehab and get clean. He does not want to take the kids away from her, but fears they are at extreme risk given Mel B's state.

Peyton Manning says he really DIDN'T want to fire footballs at kids' faces during his famous 2007 "Saturday Night Live" skit -- but changed his mind when a parent begged him to peg his kid.

The sketch is pretty famous -- Peyton was spoofing his United Way ads by teaching kids how to get tattoos, steal cars and play real, hardcore park football.

But, a key part of the skit featured Peyton nailing kids in the face with footballs -- HARD -- and the QB says he was so nervous about tagging the youngsters, he almost quit the bit.

Peyton told the story at the 2018 Indianapolis Colts kickoff lunch on Wednesday -- saying he didn't feel comfortable with the scene at the time and told producers he wanted to shut it down.

But, right before they called it off, one of the parents of the child actors approached Peyton and the director and said, "I want him to hit my kid in the face!"

So, Peyton -- being a people pleaser -- said, "I will do it. I will knock your kid out."

And the rest is history ... hilarious, hilarious history.

7:39 AM PT -- Meek surprised hundreds of kids when he showed up at his alma mater, James G. Blaine Elementary School, Wednesday morning to donate some backpacks.

Philly better not boo this Santa ... Meek Mill's doing right by the city of Brotherly Love and spreading cheer early to a bunch of kids just in time for back to school.

Meek Mill's teaming up with Puma, sports apparel Fanatics, United Legwear and Philly's luxury store Milano Di Rogue to donate more than 6,000 backpacks to students in the city.

We're told there will be 3 types of backpacks -- for elementary school, middle school and high school students. The kiddos get pencil sharpeners, rulers, glue sticks and crayons -- while it's dry erase markers, notebooks and pens for high schoolers.

Meek tells TMZ he knows firsthand what it's like for families to struggle financially around back-to-school time. He says, "Those memories stay with me and that’s why I’m committed to giving back to families in my hometown, putting smiles on kids’ faces and helping them start the school year on the right note with the right supplies."

And, get this ... we're told Meek's gonna surprise some kids Wednesday to personally hand-deliver the loot. Little advice for him though -- do NOT wear a Santa hat! That's risky biz in Philly.
