Tiger Woods' Son, Charlie Wins H.S. Golf Championship!!!
The tee clearly doesn't fall far from the green in the Woods family ... 'cause Tiger's son, Charlie, just helped his high school win a golf championship!!
The 14-year-old freshman competed alongside four others for The Benjamin School's boys team at Florida's FHSAA Class A state championship this week ... and with his two scores of 78 and 76, he helped his squad raise the coveted trophy on Wednesday afternoon.

Charlie finished fourth out of five on his team ... and tied for 26th overall in the tournament. Dad was at the scene for the entirety of the week -- cheering on his boy throughout the competition.
In addition to snagging a title medal, Charlie also had one of the best highlights of the week ... sinking a long chip that elicited a very Tiger-like fist pump from the teenager.

Charlie now has some bragging rights over his Pops ... as Tiger never won a state championship when he was growing up.
Then again, The Big Cat has 15 more major championships than Charlie ... so there's a bit more catching up to do for the young Woods from here!

MICHELLE WIE WEST "NUNCA DIGAS NUNCA"

Just five months into hanging up her golf spikes, Michelle Wie West is admitting to TMZ Sports there's at least a modicum of a chance she unretires at some point in the future.
"Never say never," she said out at LAX this week.
Then again, Wie West -- who called it a career in July following this year's U.S. Women's Open -- said she believes she's almost certainly done for good.
As for what she's been up to in retirement ... Wie West said golf is still part of her weekly routine -- it's just nowhere near what it used to be when she was a phenom hunting for major championships.
"I definitely don't practice, that's for sure," she said with a smile. "I just play."
Wie West says she's also been doing a little gardening ... and being a mom to her daughter.

And, if you thought any relaxation was involved now that her time on pro greens is over ... she said that's simply not the case, hilariously telling us, "I'm a mom -- I don't relax!"
Happy retirement, Michelle!!

LeBron James Spotted In Saudi Arabia ... Weeks After Joking He'd Play There
Perhaps LeBron James wasn't kidding when he said he'd play in Saudi Arabia if the bag was big enough ... 'cause the King was spotted in the country, just weeks after he made the comment on social media.
Bron was in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, earlier this week. The exact reason for the trip is unclear, but James was seen hanging out in a gymnasium with a banner that said "Welcome to Arabia" and "Ministry of Sport."

LeBron was invited to watch a match between Saudi prospects at the AZM Academy, according to an online report.
So, while Lakers fans shouldn't worry (for now, at least) ... it doesn't seem impossible that James could play in Saudi for a massive amount of money after his NBA career is over.

In July, the Lakers superstar used a Tom Hanks' Forrest Gump GIF to show how fast he'd go to the Middle Eastern company if he got Kylian Mbappe-type money (the French soccer superstar got a staggering $776 million offer to play for Al-Hilal, but turned the money down).
Many fans perceived LBJ's tweet as a joke, but ... maybe not.
LeBron's not alone. We talked to Giannis Antetokounmpo a few weeks ago about the same subject ... and the Milwaukee Bucks superstar told us he'd be down to suit up in Saudi if the cash was right.
Just James visiting the country will likely be enough to spark a debate ... considering Saudi Arabia's history of human rights violations.
Despite the controversy, Saudi Arabia, with their enormous wealth, has lured some of the world's biggest athletes to their country, including Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo. Golfers like Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson, among others, also bolted for Saudi.
Money talks!

PGA Tour's Gary Woodland Undergoing Surgery On Brain Lesion
Former U.S. Open champ Gary Woodland just announced some scary news -- he's undergoing surgery to remove a lesion from his brain next month ... though he said he's in good spirits despite it all.
Woodland said on X on Wednesday morning he was actually diagnosed with the ailment a few months ago ... though he had initially tried to treat it with medication.
However, he says after talking it over with docs recently, he's now decided to go under the knife to try to remedy the problem.
"We've made the decision that surgery to remove the lesion is the best course of action," the 39-year-old said.
"I'm in good spirits," he added, "with my family and team by my side and so thankful for the love and support of everyone."
Woodland -- who holds four career PGA Tour wins, including the 2019 U.S. Open -- said surgery is slated for Sept. 18.
Get well soon.

Tiger Woods Ex-GF Drops $30 Million Lawsuit
Tiger Woods is no longer being sued for allegedly cooking up a scheme to toss his ex-girlfriend out of his home after they broke up.
Tiger's ex, Erica Herman, recently dropped the $30 million lawsuit she filed against his trust ... this according to new court documents obtained by The New York Post.
Erica's decision to drop the suit comes on the heels of a related legal win for Tiger ... as we reported in May, a judge ordered the case to arbitration, which is what Woods wanted.
Tiger's ex originally filed suit against his trust back in March, alleging he wrongly kicked her out of the Florida mansion they lived in together.
Remember ... Erica claimed she was living with Tiger in his Hobe Sound estate for 6 years while they were dating, with Erica claiming she performed "valuable services" for Tiger in exchange for living rent-free.
Erica claimed they had an "oral tenancy agreement" which was supposed to last 5 years after their 2022 split ... but admitted she didn't have it in writing.
She sued Tiger's trust -- the titleholder on the house -- for $30 mil because she claimed it was the "reasonable rental value" of Tiger's house for the 5 remaining years on their alleged oral agreement.
When Tiger and Erica broke up in the fall of 2022, she claims Tiger cooked up a scheme to throw her out of the home, including alleged false promises and a spontaneous vacation.
She claimed Tiger's people convinced her to pack a suitcase for a vacation without Tiger, allegedly driving her to the airport, where they allegedly told her she'd been "locked out" of the house and couldn't go back.
For his part, Tiger denied ever making a pact with Erica ... brushing her off as a "jilted ex-girlfriend."
PGA Golfer Adam Hadwin Leveled By Security At Canadian Open ... For Celebrating Friend's Win
A security guard was left saying "sorrey" after the Canadian Open on Sunday ... when he mistakenly LAID OUT a PGA Tour golfer who ran onto the green to celebrate his buddy's big victory!!
The wild moment went down shortly after Nick Taylor nailed a 72-foot eagle putt to win the tournament on the fourth playoff hole in Toronto ... which made him the first Canada native to win the event in more than half a century.
Adam Hadwin -- who finished tied for 12th place in the same tourney -- was super stoked for his fellow Canadian's historic win ... so he grabbed a bottle of champagne and sprayed it as he darted toward Taylor.
But one security guard went into protective mode before Hadwin could even get near the big winner ... 'cause he rushed over and put the pro's ass on the grass!!
A group of people darted over to check on Hadwin right after the brutal hit ... but thankfully, he wasn't injured. Taylor looked upset over it all ... yelling as he watched his friend get laid out.
Hadwin has been a good sport about it all, though ... cracking jokes and having a playful interaction with Carolina Panthers receiver Adam Thielen.
I think I’ll stick to golf! https://t.co/KfKtLPNb5o

Hadwin's wife, Jessica, also laughed off the situation ... saying, "I'm thrilled to report that @ahadwingolf is still among the land of the living and in true Canadian form, apologized to the security guard for being tackled."

9/11 Families United 'Deeply Offended' By PGA/Liv Merger ... Saudi Shills!!!
A prominent 9/11 memorial organization is teeing off on the PGA's decision to join forces with the Saudi-backed LIV Golf tour ... saying the move is nothing but an act of betrayal.
9/11 Families United -- a group of thousands of family members whose loved ones were killed or impacted during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks -- tells TMZ Sports it is "shocked and deeply offended" by Tuesday's news of the PGA/LIV merger.
"PGA Commissioner Jay Monahan co-opted the 9/11 community last year in the PGA's unequivocal agreement that the Saudi LIV project was nothing more than sportswashing of Saudi Arabia's reputation," chairman Terry Strada, whose husband died in the World Trade Center's North Tower, said in a statement.
PGA Players Pissed Over Merger W/ LIV Golf After Orgs End Bitter Dispute
"But now the PGA and Monahan appear to have become just more paid Saudi shills, taking billions of dollars to cleanse the Saudi reputation so that Americans and the world will forget how the Kingdom spent their billions of dollars before 9/11 to fund terrorism, spread their vitriolic hatred of Americans, and finance al Qaeda and the murder of our loved ones."
Of course, the 9/11 hijackers had strong ties to Saudi Arabia. Fifteen of the nineteen men who carried out the attack were citizens of the Middle Eastern country. Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was also born in Saudi Arabia in 1957.
Despite the hijackers largely coming from Saudi Arabia, the country has always denied playing any role in the terrorist attack that killed nearly 3,000 people. The FBI and CIA have also stated Saudi Arabia was not behind the attacks.
"Make no mistake – we will never forget," Strada added.
Monahan is well aware of the backlash directed at players who jumped to LIV last year -- he was previously asked about 9/11 Families United calling it an act of betrayal at the time ... and he felt it was necessary for those athletes to apologize to those affected by the terrorist attacks.
It's safe to say the 9/11 org. no longer feels his words were sincere.
"Mr. Monahan talked last summer about knowing people who lost loved ones on 9/11, then wondered aloud on national television whether LIV Golfers ever had to apologize for being a member of the PGA Tour. They do now -- as does he. PGA Tour leaders should be ashamed of their hypocrisy and greed."
"Our entire 9/11 community has been betrayed by Commissioner Monahan and the PGA as it appears their concern for our loved ones was merely window-dressing in their quest for money – it was never to honor the great game of golf."
Monahan has yet to address the backlash ... but he will certainly have to at some point.

4:02 PM PT -- While some fans don't necessarily love the PGA Tour and LIV Golf merger, legendary golf broadcaster (and longtime tour player) Gary McCord believes the new organization will be a net positive for the game.
After more than a year of bitter arguing that included lawsuits and public feuds, PGA Tour is merging with Saudi-backed LIV Golf ... and a lot of the players are pissed!
The stunning announcement was made Tuesday morning, with the companies saying they'll form a new, yet-to-be-named organization -- news that some of the PGA Tour players say totally blindsided them.
Collin Morikawa, the 18th-ranked player in the world, clearly had no idea the merger was in the works, Tweeting ... "I love finding out morning news on Twitter"
Another pro, Wesley Bryan, expressed anger over the merger.
"Love finding out info on twitter. This is amazing. Y’all should be ashamed and have a lot of questions to answer."
Tiger Woods Rejected $700-$800 Million Offer From LIV Golf, Greg Norman Says
Bryan fired off another message ... "I feel betrayed, and will not be able to trust anyone within the corporate structure of the PGA TOUR for a very long time"
Tuesday's announcement was especially shocking because of the disdain the organizations have had for one another since LIV launched.
Aside from just being a business dispute, a lot of Americans were against LIV because of its tie to the Saudi Arabian government. In fact, LIV Golf is backed by Saudi's Public Investment Fund (PIF), controlled by the Crown Prince. A majority of the 9/11 hijackers (15 of 19) were from the country.

Jay Monahan, Commissioner of the PGA Tour, once posed the question ... "Have you ever had to apologize for being a member of the PGA Tour?," in response to blowback on American golfers who took large checks from LIV.
Monahan was talking about several high-profile former PGA Tour players who bolted for LIV, including Phil Mickelson who reportedly received around $200 million to join the org. Dustin Johnson left too, reportedly getting $125 million. Brooks Koepka reportedly got $100 million.
Not all players took the big money ... Tiger Woods reportedly turned down a whopping $800 million offer, while Rory McIlroy reportedly said no to $500 million.

Golf Star Tom Kim Covered In Mud At PGA Championship ... Wild Search For Ball
Tom Kim proved Thursday night that even pro golf stars have flashes of weekend warrior in them ... 'cause in a wild attempt to rescue a brand new ball from a hazard area, he got absolutely lathered in mud.
The hilarious scene all went down during Kim's first round at the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club in New York ... when on the sixth hole, the 20-year-old blasted his tee shot way off line.
Turns out, the ball was struck so badly ... it went over a creek and settled in a patch of high weeds.

— Sky Sports Golf (@SkySportsGolf) May 19, 2023 @SkySportsGolf
Kim then had two options -- take a penalty stroke and drop the ball near the hazard ... or, strip off his shoes and socks and go in after it.
Turns out, Kim chose the latter ... and it ended up being a comically poor decision.
Check out the footage of Kim trying to find his Pro V1x ... the dude waded through waist-high mud for several moments, before he had to turn back without the ball and crawl to safety.
Video shows Kim left the hazard covered in mud ... and after the round -- while he was a good sport about it -- he was clearly embarrassed.
"You know," he said with a sheepish smile, "I miss the days when I played on a tour without cameras."
Kim was able to wash himself off in a nearby creek following the whole ordeal ... and despite having to take a penalty stroke and throw away his mud-stained shirt -- he ended up bogeying the hole. He later finished his round at +3.

Bryson DeChambeau Drills Golfer At PGA Championship ... FORREEEEEEE!!!
Bryson DeChambeau has ruffled some feathers yet again on the golf course ... this time, the LIV star hit an approach shot so poorly, it drilled one of his fellow competitors right in the back.

You can see in replays from the ESPN broadcast of the tournament, as he was leaning over his ball ... another ball suddenly came careening right for him.
Turns out, the ball was hit off of DeChambeau's club on the 17th hole ... less than 200 yards away.
Thankfully, a "fore" call was yelled ... allowing Pigman to duck for cover -- but he was still nailed in the back of the shoulder by the wayward shot.
DeChambeau, who's made a habit through the years of annoying others on the course, like Brooks Koepka, clearly didn't mean to hit Pigman ... and he came over to apologize shortly after.
And, somehow, despite the horrendous shot, DeChambeau was able to save a bogey on his hole ... and is now in the middle of a great round.
Pigman, meanwhile, shook off the shot ... and continued with his round too.

Dustin Johnson My Back Injury??? Paulina May Have Caused That 😏
No, Dustin Johnson didn't hurt his back earlier this year swinging a club -- instead, he strongly insinuated Wednesday it was a different kind of stroke that caused the injury.
Johnson was out in New York getting ready for the PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club when he was peppered with a few questions about the muscle pull that yanked him from the Saudi International golf tournament back in February.
The 38-year-old former Masters champ didn't explain fully what caused the problem ... but he sure hinted it had something to do with fooling around with his wife, Paulina Gretzky.

"Yeah, lifting up a kid," he said, stifling a laugh. "Just a bigger kid."
The remark left the room full of journalists in stitches ... and the ear-to-ear smile that Johnson continued to wear didn't require any further follow-ups.
Of course, Johnson could've been talking about something completely different ... but both he and Paulina have had all day to clarify the comments -- yet the two have remained tight-lipped.

Gisele Bündchen Betting Favorite To Date Tiger Woods After Erica Herman Breakup
Tiger Woods is a single man ... and the oddsmakers are taking bets on who he'll date when he goes back on the prowl -- with Tom Brady's ex-wife Gisele Bündchen being the favorite to be his next partner.
Tiger called things off with Erica Herman late last year ... and their split has been nasty -- with his girlfriend of six years filing a $30 million lawsuit over how things ended.
BetOnline is wasting no time looking into the future ... throwing out odds for who Woods will date next -- and there are a ton of interesting names on the list.
Gisele comes in on top at +2500, which means the oddsmakers think there's an outside chance she moves from one G.O.A.T. to another ... and Kim Kardashian is right behind at +3500.
Shakira -- who recently went through her own rough breakup with Gerard Piqué -- is listed at +5000 if she decides to give it a shot with another athlete.
There seems to be a bit of a "messy breakup" trend here ... as Amber Heard is also an option at +15000.
Golf influencer and model Paige Spiranac also made the cut ... coming in at +25000.
And for Ss and Gs, there are a few adult film actresses like Mia Khalifa, Lana Rhoades, Riley Reid and Mia Malkova on the list ... and their odds are set at +50000, which are surprisingly the same as Tiger's ex, Lindsey Vonn.
Tiger's had his ups and downs in the relationship department ... so when he decides to give love another shot, perhaps you can cash in on it!!
