Sam Asghari is focusing on love that lasts ... starring in a new PETA gig with a furry companion following his bitter split from Britney Spears earlier this year.

Months after the animal rights org branded his ex 'toxic' for buying a new pup, the fitness trainer is doing his part in hammering home the message of adopting, and not buying dogs.

Sam goes shirtless in one image ... cuddling up to a pooch, with the slogan: "You Can't Buy Love, But You Can Adopt It" -- another reading: "Some Love Lasts ... Never Buy Dogs, Always Spay or Neuter."

Dog lover Sam regularly shares IG content of his Doberman, Porsha -- which was initially a gift to Britney following their 2021 engagement -- though he got to keep her in the end.

Britney got to keep the couple's 4 other dogs ... and also brought a new pooch, Snow, 2 weeks after Sam filed for divorce on Aug 16.

PETA was horrified with her purchase, venting: "She could have been a force for good and adopted, but instead she chose to be toxic, and animals will pay with their lives."

Top Dawg Entertainment threw its annual Christmas ... marking yet another holiday hit for the community that birthed the rap music powerhouse.

As they've done for the past 10 years, TDE talent put on a concert and toy drive at the Nickerson Garden Apartments in Watts, California Tuesday ... SZA, who had a HUGE year thanks to her "S.O.S." album performed several cuts for those in attendance.

Madonna's on Santa's naughty list this year -- and while he looked totally down to revel in some fun smut at her concert, it ended up costing him with an onstage fall.

The singer brought out a Claus -- classic red suit and all -- during Tuesday night's stop in D.C. for her "Celebration" tour, and it looks like they were attempting to do some kind of edgy lap dance sequence with him and some of her backup dancers.

SC plopped down on a chair, waiting for his treats -- with Madonna standing nearby to monitor the choreography. When the dancer finally mounted him ... they both went tumbling.

Nobody was hurt or anything, but it was a lil' embarrassing ... especially for the jolly man, who should be plenty used to folks on his lap by now.

Funny enough, no one skipped a beat in the moment. The dancer who went down immediately got back to poppin'/lockin' (even from the floor) ... and Madge continued handling mic duties like nothing happened -- all of this while Saint Nick was slowly trying to get up.

Chance Comanche -- the NBA G Leaguer arrested for his alleged role in the murder of a woman earlier this month -- confessed to cops that he strangled the female before burying her body in a Nevada desert ... this according to new court documents.

In the docs, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department investigators say through a series of interviews ... they learned that Comanche and his ex-girlfriend, 19-year-old Sakari Harnden, played a role in the disappearance of Marayna Rodgers -- and when they spoke to the basketball player about it all ... he fessed up to killing her.

Officials say Comanche had arrived in Las Vegas to participate in a G League game with his team, the Stockton Kings, on Dec. 4 -- but developed a plan with Harnden to kill Rodgers a short time later due to an apparent dispute the women had gotten into previously.

In the docs, officers claim Comanche told them he and Harnden had lured Rodgers out on Dec. 6 with the promise that they'd pay her for sexual acts.

Cops say Comanche told them they got Rodgers into a car -- and after picking up a bottle of booze from a nearby liquor store, they made it seem like they'd have intercourse with her inside of the ride.

However, according to the docs, Comanche told cops he pulled out an HDMI cord and strangled Rodgers for around 10 seconds. He allegedly let go -- though cops say he told them Harnden continued to choke her -- until she became unresponsive.

Officials say Comanche told them that once they believed Rodgers was dead -- they dumped her body in a ditch and then buried it with rocks.

Comanche was arrested on Dec. 15 while he was practicing for the Kings (the team released him later the same day). He was initially booked on a kidnapping charge, though officials later said he'd be formally charged with murder.

The 27-year-old, 6-foot-10 center -- who played in one NBA game in his career -- showed up in court in Sacramento County on Tuesday and appeared stoic -- before indicating he wouldn't fight extradition. It's expected he'll now be transported to Vegas in the coming days.

A man in Turkey is in jail, accused of throwing his girlfriend to her death off a clifftop where he had just proposed to her ... and cops think she said, "no" before the fatal tumble.

Nizamettin Gursu has just been arrested in the death of his girlfriend, Yesim Demir, who reportedly fell 100 feet to her death in the Turkish city of Canakkale.

His arrest comes about 5 months after Yesim's fatal fall. Gursu originally told police his GF accepted his proposal, he left her at the edge of the cliff to grab food and drinks from his car and then heard her scream. He said he returned to find she had fallen over the ledge.

However, cops say their investigation now leads them to believe Yesim rejected the proposal, and a struggle ensued at the scenic picnic spot ... a struggle that ended with her going over the cliff to her death.

Police say Gursu still had the engagement ring in a box in his pocket ... and they also found a broken speaker and shattered glasses where the July 6 proposal went down.

What's more, cops say Yesim's family told them she had been planning to break up with Gursu before the proposal ... and they say she would have never gotten engaged to him.

The woman's family also told police she would not willingly stand at the edge of a cliff because she suffers from panic attacks.

Jonathan Majors has fled the Big Apple after his high-profile guilty verdict -- he's in Los Angeles, and he's still rolling with his ever-loyal GF Meagan Good.

The embattled actor -- who was convicted on assault and harassment charges Monday in his Manhattan criminal trial -- touched down at LAX late Tuesday night WITH Meagan right by his side, along with at least one other person in his crew.

As you can see, they were going down a set of stairs from the jetway to the tarmac and a waiting car -- it's a common move celebs make to avoid cameras outside LAX.

No clear shots of their faces or anything like that -- these pics were taken from a distance -- but everything about the scene says MG is sticking by Majors' side even after he was found guilty.

Mind you, she walked out with him after the jury returned its verdict ... with her head high.

We didn't see Meagan with JM while he stepped out by himself in NYC Tuesday afternoon -- but she's obviously still with the guy.

It's possible he wanted to get out of town and lay low somewhere else -- but frankly, Hollywood might not be the best place for that. If anything, there's more photogs here than perhaps even in NY ... so unless he plans on hunkering down in a house, he'll be spotted plenty.

Macaulay Culkin's family in 'Home Alone' was certainly presented as wealthy in the flick -- but as it turns out, they were actually in the top 1% ... according to real-world economists.

The NYT asked a question that's been on movie lovers' minds for years now -- just how rich were the McCallisters??? They ended up consulting experts at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago -- plus diving into a ton of other research -- to get somewhat of a clear answer.

For starters, the outlet went to real estate sites like Realtor.com to gauge where exactly they lived in Chi-Town -- and about how much their mansion might've cost back in the late '80s/early '90s, the period in which the film is depicted. 'Memba, it came out in 1990.

Per the Times, the house that was used as the famous exterior for 'HA' actually belongs to a super ritzy burb in Chicago called Winnetka -- one of the most expensive neighborhoods in America. Based on median incomes for folks who lived there back in the day ... the economists the NYT consulted peg the McCallisters as a likely $305,000/year household.

Mind you, they landed on that amount for the time period ... so, adjusted for inflation, that comes out to about $665,000/year in 2022. In other words, they're pretty GD rich.

Now, in terms of how Kevin McCallister and co. made that type of money and what his parents might've done for work -- the Times uses context clues in the movie to speculate that the mom was a successful fashion designer, and that pops was a general businessman.

It's a pretty fascinating deep dive into the beloved classic -- and if they were, in fact, as ballin' as the Times suggests ... it makes sense why the Wet Bandits targeted their home.

Brittany Mahomes says she's seeing a surge in trolls on her Instagram amid her budding friendship with Taylor Swift ... revealing Tuesday there's "A LOT more rude ass people" bothering her on the app these days.

The 28-year-old mother of two has unfortunately grown used to critics on her social media pages as the wife of Patrick Mahomes ... but she took to her IG stories this week to announce it's all gotten much worse -- all while she's becoming good pals with Travis Kelce's new flame.

"Recently there has been ALOT more rude ass people on here," she wrote, "waaaay more then normal."

"I'm not sure where yall came from," she continued, "but you should probably go back to where you came from .... please."

Brittany never specifically mentioned her relationship with Swift in her statement ... though it certainly seems it's all connected -- as the gals have been pretty much inseparable since September, when the pop star and Kelce went public with their relationship.

Of course, Brittany is sadly more than used to the online hate ... as the most outspoken fan of Patrick, she's been a lightning rod for criticism.

In fact, at one point last year, she even had to call out a commenter for their inappropriate response to a pic of her and her family.

For his part, Patrick has been to known come to her defense ... saying of her haters  following an incident in 2022, "Man people are weird."

George Clooney is speaking out publicly about the death of Matthew Perry ... saying the actor wasn't happy on the set of his hit sitcom, "Friends."

Clooney sat for an interview published Tuesday in Deadline to promote his new film, "The Boys In the Boat," -- and he opened up about his relationship with Perry dating back to the '90s when they first met and played paddle ball together.

At the time, Perry was 16 and searching for success, desperately trying to get on a sitcom. Clooney described Perry as a "great, funny, funny, funny kid."

One day, Clooney said he was chatting with Perry, who told him, "I just want to get on a regular sitcom and I would be the happiest man on earth."

Perry got his wish, scoring a leading role as Chandler Bing on "Friends," which Clooney noted was "probably one of the best ever" TV shows.

Yet, Perry still wasn’t happy, Clooney said, because it "didn’t bring him joy or happiness or peace."

Back then, the two stars worked on the Warner Brothers lot next to each other -- and Clooney recalled it was "hard to watch" Perry because "we didn't know what was going through him."

Clooney insisted he had no idea Perry was popping 12 Vicodin a day and "all the stuff he talked about, all that heartbreaking stuff."

Clooney added that money and success do not automatically translate into happiness, explaining, "You have to be happy with yourself and your life."

As you know ... Perry died of "the acute effects of ketamine," a drug used to treat depression and is sometimes taken recreationally. The L.A. Coroner found several contributing factors: drowning, coronary artery disease, and buprenorphine effects. Buprenorphine is used to ween addicts off opioids.

Cameron Diaz has some simple marriage advice ... keep 'em separated, referring to spouses -- because, she's all for normalizing individual bedrooms for married couples.

Of course, she's been married to Benji Madden since 2015, but the actress still told Molly Sims and Emese Gormley on the "Lipstick on the Rim" podcast that her dream cohabiting situation would be just to doze off alone.

In fact, screw separate bedrooms ... Cameron said she was down for couples having different HOMES while they're at it!

Her couples counseling sesh goes like this, "To me, I would literally, I have my house, you have yours. We have the family house in the middle. I will go and sleep in my room. You go sleep in your room. I'm fine."

The "Charlie's Angels" star is allowing for a middle bedroom to "convene for our relations." At least there's that, Benji!

Molly and Emese were pretty shocked, prompting Cameron to walk things back a bit ... she clarified these opinions were formed pre-Benji bliss, and claims to have changed her tune since cause he's amazing.

Meghan Markle seems to be dipping her toe back into the acting game -- although, considering this is an ad for a coffee company she has stock in ... perhaps not really.

The Duchess of Sussex is prominently featured in the background for this end-of-year video that Clevr Blends posted on social media Tuesday -- capping off 2023 by thanking their loyal customer base ... while consistently having MM in frame for each quick scene.

She's acting like a regular Clevr employee in each shot -- packing up boxes and busy working at a computer. She's certainly noticeable though ... standing out like a sore thumb.

Toward the end of the digital commercial, she walks right toward the camera and attempts to fist-bump another Clevr worker -- but fails miserably, which makes her bust up laughing.

You can tell the whole thing's joke-y and meant to highlight her involvement in the company -- but, like we said, this is one of the first times she's technically gotten back on camera since she's gotten involved with Prince Harry. At first glance, she still has some presence to her!

If you're wondering what Meg has to do with this hippy-dippy coffee, she's one of a handful of investors for it -- and apparently sees major potential in growth, seeing the company's still private at the moment ... and relatively small compared to the big chains out there.

In fact, Clevr doesn't even have in-store locations that serve Java -- you gotta order their beans online and have 'em shipped to you. That said, it seems to have a pretty good rep.

Meghan got involved with them in 2020, and she appears to be far and away their biggest claim to fame ... something she doesn't mind flexing to help finish the year strong, it seems.

Travis Scott had a close call during his Tuesday night concert in NYC ... almost getting knocked off the stage by a massive head-shaped prop, while also making a fast recovery!!!

The rapper was in the middle of his performance on an elevated part of the stage at Brooklyn's Barclays Center when, all of a sudden, the large cranium floated up behind him.

Check out the video, obtained by TMZ ... Travis is so preoccupied singing his song that he's completely unaware of the threat creeping up on him. The oversized skull bumps into his back, causing him to jump to a portion of the stage below.

But, Travis doesn't get flustered and continues on with his show, pausing only briefly to call a tech guy on stage and whisper something in his ear. Although it's unclear what Travis said, the technician soon dashes off stage, and the video cuts off.

Our sources say there were no other hiccups during Travis's nearly two-hour gig, part of his "Circus Maximus" tour, and the crowd had a great time.

Greta Gerwig has sealed the deal with her very own Ken ... marrying Noah Baumbach after 12 years of dating!

After exchanging vows at NYC's City Hall Tuesday, the directors celebrated at Billy Joel's Madison Square Garden concert -- Greta was still wearing her bridal white, and Noah his dashing navy blue suit, as they cheered at the concert.

Greta was heard sharing the happy news with folks backstage, according to Page Six ... with a source telling them the newlyweds were glowing and so happy.

Marriage was a long time coming for the pair ... who began dating in 2011, and got engaged in 2020.

They're also parents to son Harold, 4, and another baby boy, who they welcomed earlier this year.

Mayim Bialik stepping away from "Jeopardy!" in solidarity with striking writers showed Sony executives they didn't need 2 hosts for the quiz show, and that's why they moved on ... TMZ has learned.

Sony Studios sources tell TMZ ... bosses at Sony weren't mad when Mayim refused to work during this year's strike, but her absence opened execs' eyes about their dual host system -- Mayim and Ken Jennings shared the gig.

Our sources say Mayim stepping away gave Ken an opportunity ... and he took it and ran with it, improving his hosting skills while she was away.

We're also told Sony worked incredibly hard juggling schedules to accommodate Mayim during her time on the show, and she didn't always agree with production decisions ... including the hiring of executive producer Michael Davies, and other staff changes.

Mayim stepped away in May at the height of the writers' strike, and our sources say she eventually fell so far out of touch, Sony execs simply decided to press on without her.

As we reported ... Mayim announced Friday she was no longer hosting "Jeopardy!"

Our sources say Sony is still open to having Mayim host "Jeopardy!" primetime specials, because they feel she's talented and works well with the celebrity contestants ... but we're told Mayim made it clear it was all or nothing. As a result, we're told Sony brass declined and Mayim released her statement Friday without consulting Sony.

Regardless, our sources say the ball is still in Mayim's court ... we're told Sony execs want her for primetime specials, if she accepts the offer.

After 235 days away from the NBA hardwood, Ja Morant apparently still knows his way around the hoop -- scoring the winning shot in his first game back!!

The Grizzlies superstar had been barred from the court to start this season while serving a 25-game suspension for a string of incidents involving gun-related social media videos ... but in his return against the Pelicans on Tuesday night, his presence was felt right away.

He logged 34 points and 8 assists on the road game in New Orleans -- but, most importantly, he nailed a floater in the lane with no time left in regulation to win the game for Memphis, 115-113.

And, afterward, he had a big-time message for his haters ... saying simply as he ran into the locker room, "I kept receipts!"

Morant, of course, had developed a bevy of critics after he was seen on social media waving around a gun not once, but twice. He had also been accused last year of attacking a teenager during a pickup game at his home. It all eventually led to NBA commish Adam Silver sidelining him.

But, Morant took all the steps the NBA and the Grizzlies required for him to rejoin the team ... and after his big night against the Pels, he said there were certainly some low points while he was away from his teammates.

"I haven't played a game in eight months," he said. "I had a lot of time to learn myself, a lot of hard days where I went through it. But, you know, basketball is my life, what I love. It’s therapeutic for me and I'm just excited to be back."

Jason Mewes is going from stoner comedian to candidate for father of the year ... because he had a big role dancing ballet in his daughter's production of "The Nutcracker."

Jay performed in his daughter Logan's play earlier this month, dancing alongside other dads of the cast.

It sounds like Jason's daddy-daughter ballet gig was a year in the making ... we're told Logan saw the 'Nutcracker' last Christmas at the Marat Daukayev School of Ballet in Los Angeles and loved it so much, she had her parents enroll her in the school's ballet classes.

Rehearsals for this year's play have been going on since at least October, which is when Jason was approached about being a Dancing Dad.

We're told Jason was first approached by Pamela Daukayev, the school's executive director and Marat's wife, with Jason agreeing despite having no clue what being a Dancing Dad entailed.

Jason's ballet responsibilities included 4 dances onstage in costume with ballerina Lola Vernetti ... plus helping the other 27 Dancing Dads assist the crew and move furniture and set pieces between scenes. No easy task to say the least.

We're told Jason rehearsed several times a week leading up to the big show ... and he also participated in daily tech rehearsals onstage the week before the performance.

Logan sounds like a pretty good dancer herself ... we're told she earned a demi-solo ballet routine in the Pulcinella scene -- a 21-section ballet.

We're told Jason feels the experience is one of his best moments as a father ... and Logan was proud to have him onstage with her.
