The Church of Scientology had a serious issue with Tom Cruise while he was with "negative influence" Nicole Kidman ... this according to a former church officer that was once high up in the religion.

Mike Rinder's new book, "A Billion Years: My Escape From a Life in the Highest Ranks of Scientology," is peeling back the layers of the always-secretive world of Scientology ... and Mike's revealing a time when the Church began to drive a wedge between Tom and Nicole.

Mike claims the church got worried when Tom began ignoring calls from Church honcho David Miscavige ... while away filming Kubrick's "Eyes Wide Shut" in London.

Miscavige was super worried he might lose his grip on Tom, so he sent a top exec to the UK to audit the actor -- meaning he'd be walked through the negativity in his life to become "clear" once again.

Mike claims Tom eventually returned to the fold, which caused a serious divide between him and Nicole. He says the Church was so threatened by Nicole's influence, they allegedly hired a PI to spy on her and tap her phone.

The Church denies the wiretapping claims ... telling Page Six, "Mike Rinder is an inveterate liar who seeks to profit from his dishonesty. He supports himself by orchestrating the harassment of his former Church and its leader through false police reports, incendiary propaganda and fraudulent media stories.”

Shakira and Gerard Piqué are still practicing social distancing, at least when it comes to co-parenting -- they both showed up to their kid's baseball game, but sat pretty far away from each other.

The exes were out supporting their 9-year-old son, Milan, Saturday in Barcelona ... Gerard was with his mom on one side of the stands, while Shakira came with some of her pals and her mom, sitting on the other side.

The singer even spent some alone time in the dugout, too.

We're told they didn't look at each other the entire game ... it wasn't until their son was saying his goodbyes after the game that they got close.

The icy environment definitely gives "unresolved issues" vibes ... and Shakira's Off-White "keep back" jacket certainly backed that up. She broke her silence on their split last week -- telling Elle she kept quiet on purpose ever since rumors started swirling in June, partially to protect her kids.

Brittany Snow and Tyler Stanaland's separation might already be undone just days after they publicly announced their split -- 'cause the (ex-?) couple had quite a night together.

The 'Pitch Perfect' star was seen grabbing dinner with her estranged hubby Tuesday night in L.A. -- with their dog, Charlie, in tow -- and seemed more than chummy in the meetup. Paps got photos of them chatting it up inside the restaurant and looking cordial.

The biggest sign they're perhaps back on again, though, is the fact Tyler swung by Brittany's place afterward ... and we're told he was let in, only to end up sleeping over.

The next morning, they were once again photographed together ... this time grabbing some coffee in the neighborhood. BS was in a new outfit, TS was in the same clothes from the night before -- including a hoodie that he was wearing over his head.

It's an interesting turn of events ... remember, it was less than a week ago Brittany said they were seemingly ending their marriage -- this amid rumors he was hooking up with his Netflix costar, Alex Hall ... who's featured with him on "Selling the OC."

Not just that, but he and Alex were also snapped looking cozy the same day Brittany declared they were going their separate ways -- so it looked over on the face of things.

Trevor Ariza's wife has filed for divorce from the NBA player ... TMZ Sports has confirmed.

According to court documents, Bree Anderson Ariza filed the documents on Tuesday, citing "irreconcilable differences."

In the docs, Bree asked for physical and legal custody of their two children, but did check the box for child visitation to be granted to Trevor. She also asked for spousal support.

Bree and Trevor were married back in April 2018, when the basketball player was a member of the Houston Rockets. A date of separation for the two was listed as "TBD" in the docs.

The couple had dated for several years before they formally tied the knot.

Ariza -- who's now an NBA free agent after playing for the Lakers this past season -- has previously been involved in a high-profile custody dispute with an ex ... back in 2020, Lana Allen alleged he had physically abused their child.

Ariza denied the allegations, and a judge ruled in Dec. 2020 Ariza had not -- and did not -- pose a threat to his son.

Zoe Lister-Jones is pulling the plug on her marriage ... because she just filed for divorce from her director husband.

The "New Girl" star beelined it to court Thursday and filed to divorce Daryl Wein after 17 years together, including 9 years of marriage.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Zoe is citing the usual irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Zoe revealed last year she had separated from Daryl, explaining how they were going in and out of an open relationship. Now, she's made the first move to get a divorce, listing Feb. 1, 2021 as the date of separation.

ZLJ and DW did not have any minor children ... and she wants to end the court's ability to award spousal support. As for their property, Zoe is asking the judge to keep things simple and confirm the judgment for legal separation filed back in May 2021.

Just as Kanye West finds a new muse ... a previous one, Julia Fox, is speaking out about their breakup, and says she pulled the plug over his issues.

The "Uncut Gems" actress has clearly been doing some reflecting about their whirlwind romance, and says she's proud of herself for leaving Kanye as soon as she saw the first red flag.

She tells ES Magazine ... Kanye had a lot of unresolved issues he had been dealing with at the time -- “It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it or energy ... I don’t have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I’m proud of myself for that."

On top of that, Julia says she couldn't keep up with the rapper's fast lifestyle once "real life set in." Flying around the world at the drop of the hat does require a pretty open schedule.

Julia added ... had she been the same person she was before having her 1-year-old son, she probably would've held on a lot longer to the Ye relationship.

You'll recall Julia and Kanye called it quits back in February after less than 2 months of dating. Around the same time, Kanye had been firing shots on social media and hoping to get back with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.

Leo DiCaprio is back in action ... hitting up a lit party Saturday night in NYC, and he wasn't the only big celeb there.

Leo was at the Revolve Party at Casa Cipriani in lower Manhattan, with his signature cap pulled down as he hung at the bar.

Jared Leto was also there, dressed down, yakking it up with a bunch of folks. Jared seemed more social ... Leo was pretty much hanging by himself.

As we reported, Leo recently split with Camila Morrone. Leo split with Camila after 4 years of dating, which makes it substantially a quarantine romance.

As for Camila ...she was hanging out a week ago with Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber. She also partied with Kaia Gerber for Kaia's 21st birthday.

It's been a few weeks since Offset and the other two Migos released competing singles ... and it appears things continue to grow apart for the group.

On Tuesday night, Offset took center stage on 'The Tonight Show' ... giving an interview about his son Wave's 1st birthday party and performing a melody of his new solo songs "Code" and "5 4 3 2 1."

Offset looked comfortable on stage and even filled the space typically reserved for Quavo and Takeoff with backup dancers.

In a clear act of raining on his parade, Quavo and Takeoff, the newly minted duo "Unc and Phew" announced their album Wednesday titled "Only Built 4 Infinity Links."

The album name is a play on Wu-Tang Clan legend Raekwon's debut album "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx" and the tagline "it only runs in the blood."

The album announcement makes the second drop Quavo and Takeoff released on top of Offset's ... their last single "Big Stunna" was released at the same time as "Code."

Of course, Offset is on an island himself ... thanks to the legal injunctions he's sent to the Quality Control label in order to get them to back away from his solo career.

He's still a part of the label under the Migos umbrella, but that could also change down the line. A rep for Quality Control recently told TMZ Hip Hop ... Offset's gripes were detached from reality ... but everything about these rollouts feels very real.

Camila Morrone is livin' it up following her breakup from Leonardo DiCaprio ... by hitting the town with BFFs Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber for a much-needed girls' night out.

The sisterhood circle was spotted leaving Sushi Park in West Hollywood Tuesday night ... all smiles as they took to the parking lot with security in tow.

Kendall and Hailey seemed to be embracing the newly-single 25-year-old after her recent split ... and Camila looks to be havin' fun with the girls instead of worrying about the single life.

What's interesting is HB and KJ used to be good friends with Gigi Hadid, who's at least rumored to be dating Leo now! However, the model trio hasn't hung out publicly in a long time.

As you may know, Leo and Camila called it quits after 4 years of dating -- she was recently seen moving into a new place in Malibu after their breakup.

Camila Morrone seems to be ready to move on with her life as a single woman following her split from Leonardo DiCaprio ... cause she's apparently already moved into a new apartment.

The model/actress was spotted Friday in Malibu moving into a new place. For the most part, she seemingly kept it cool with a neutral facial expression as friends and movers helped her get furniture and belongings into her apartment.

As you may know, Leo and Camila recently called it quits after 4 years of dating, though it's still not clear what may have led to the breakup. The two began dating back in 2017 and in 2020 they spent a great deal of time together during quarantine.

Meanwhile, the "Wolf of Wall Street" star has been spending some quality time with friends in the big apple. Last week, he was seen for the first time since they reportedly split ... grabbing some Italian food with his crew.

F1 star Lando Norris has a personal update heading into race weekend -- the McLaren driver just announced he is no longer dating his girlfriend, Luisinha Oliveira.

The 22-year-old posted the news to Instagram on Thursday ... saying, "After time and consideration, Luisa and myself have mutually decided to end our relationship but remain good friends."

"I wish her the world and have so much respect for her and all she does as an amazing and strong woman with nothing but kindness."

Norris and Oliveira went public with their relationship in January ... but were rumored to be together months prior. They celebrated their one-year anniversary just three weeks ago.

Norris -- who's 7th in the driver standings -- is currently prepping for the Dutch Grand Prix this weekend ... where he finished 10th in 2021.

Lando continued ... "Please respect our decision and respect our -- but more importantly and especially her privacy moving forward."

"Thank you for your endless support."

His post has since been deleted from his social media.

Tyrese is now officially single, and he will be heavily investing in his child's future ... that's how the judge advised him to view the $10k he'll be paying monthly in child support going forward.

Tyrese's courtroom showdown with his estranged wife, Samantha Lee Gibson, wrapped up Tuesday evening in Georgia with the judge ordering the actor to pay $10,690/month in child support. The exes have a daughter, Soraya.

Perhaps sensing Tyrese wasn't happy with the outcome, the judge addressed him directly, saying ... "This is not a punishment for you. Put that money where it belongs, in the child! The judge also advised Samantha and Tyrese not to bad mouth each other in front of Soraya -- and said Tyrese should be happy if his ex moves into a nicer house, because it means a better standard of living for his daughter.

Now, the hitch for Tyrese is the judge said the $10k/month dates back to when Samantha first filed for divorce in Sept. 2020 ... which means he owes his ex a lump sum of $209k.

However, Tyrese got a credit, noting he had been making Samantha's car payments for 2 years, the judge knocked off $46k ... bringing the lump sum down to $169k.

More good news -- at least for Tyrese -- the judge said neither party will pay spousal support. As TMZ first reported, that's exactly what Tyrese wanted -- and he also wanted to keep their Range Rover and let Samantha have their Land Rover. He got that too.

Almost as an afterthought, the very last thing the judge did was to grant Samantha's petition for divorce -- so, both of them are single ... even if they're not yet ready to mingle.

BTW, Tyrese is already paying $10,690/month in child support for his teenage daughter, Shayla, who lives in California with his ex-wife Norma Mitchell.

Sylvester Stallone is firing back at his estranged wife, Jennifer Flavin, by denying that he's hiding any of their marital property ... but wholly agreeing the marriage is dunzo.

The actor filed a response to Flavin's divorce petition in Palm Beach County, FL -- which clearly states Sly has NOT engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets ... this, according to docs, obtained by TMZ.

It doesn't get more specific beyond that -- neither did Flavin, BTW -- but his attorneys make crystal clear that SS is not doing anything that could be labeled as moving/hiding assets.

Sly also has an answer for Jen's request for exclusive use of their Palm Beach mansion -- and to that, he says ... hell no. He's officially opposing her ask, letting a judge know he's firmly against that.

One thing Sly concedes ... there's no remedy to fix this mess. He acknowledges their union is "irretrievably broken" -- he's also cool with her restoring her maiden name.

As we reported ... we'd heard from sources directly connected to the Stallones that the straw that broke the camel's back might've stemmed from an argument over a dog that Sly wanted, but which Jen didn't.

Sly, however, denied that ... telling TMZ the Rottweiler, Dwight, didn't trigger anything ... and he and Jen had simply grown apart. He added, "I have the highest respect for Jennifer. I will always love her. She's an amazing woman. She's the nicest human being I've ever met." He'd previously told us he loved his family and wanted to deal with this privately.

"Supernatural" Jim Beaver is throwing in the towel on his marriage ... because he just filed for divorce from his actress and singer wife.

Jim beelined it to court this week and filed to divorce Sarah Spiegel after 3 years of marriage.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Jim lists the date of separation as August 14 ... which means he wasted almost no time going forward with the divorce filing ... and he cites the usual "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

Jim and Sarah started dating back in September 2016, and in May 2018, Jim announced their engagement after popping the question on a trip to Paris.

The actors tied the knot in June 2019, with Jim gushing about Sarah in a social media post where he called her "delectable, spectacular, deeply kind and loving."

'Power Rangers' star Jason David Frank's wife is waving the white flag on marriage to the White Ranger ... she's filed for divorce and is accusing him of having an affair.

According to new legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Tammie Frank claims Jason committed adultery ... and she cites the alleged infidelity as one of the reasons for their split.

Jason's estranged wife also says the marriage wasn't working because of discord and conflict between them, and she says she can no longer live with Jason because of his cruel treatment toward her.

Famous for playing Tommy Oliver in the 'Power Rangers' franchise, Jason married Tammie back in May 2003 ... and she lists July 1 as the date of separation. They do not have any minor children together.

Jason's estranged wife is asking the court to award her the lion's share of their assets ... including their house in Texas and a car.

Tammie posted a cryptic message on Instagram last week about new beginnings and removing "wrong people," who've hurt you, from your life.

The ex-girlfriend of Daren Kagasoff, star of "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," has obtained a temporary restraining order against the actor ... this after she claimed he threatened to leak nude pictures of her online and allegedly sent some to her parents.

According to legal docs, obtained by TMZ, Breanna Trupiano claims they split last July after Daren allegedly "threw a lit cigarette in my hair and told me he was going to kill me."

Breanna claims their issues didn't stop after the breakup ... she says he "stalked [her] work and apartment for 7 months" until she filed a police report.

She says he left her alone for a few months but claims he started to harass her again when she posted a pic of her new boyfriend on Instagram.

She claims the actor made fake IG accounts and threatened to post her nudes online ... she also says he used burner numbers to send pics to her parents.

Breanna says she's now afraid to go outside her home or post about her love life on social media ... worrying, "I'm scared of what he may do next."

The actor's required to stay 100 yards away from her and isn't allowed to make any contact.
