TMZ acaba de cumplir 18 años, y estamos listos para llevarte a un paseo por el carril de los recuerdos que incluye todos los momentos más destacados y las historias más importantes que hemos publicado a lo largo de los años.

Ha sido todo un viaje desde que empezamos en 2005 y hemos cambiado muchísimo,. Sin embargo, lo único que ha permanecido igual a lo largo de nuestras casi dos décadas es que informamos de las grandes noticias de Hollywood y la mayoría de las veces, somos los primeros en hacerlo.

A continuación, un resumen de dónde hemos estado, las historias que hemos sacado a la luz y hacia dónde vamos.

Mel Gibson Antisemita (2006)

Habíamos cubierto algunas grandes historias antes de esto, pero ser los primeros en publicar la historia de Mel Gibson en el verano de 2006 fue lo que realmente nos puso en el mapa, y por una buena razón. Lo que informamos resultó ser absolutamente loco y bastante feo por cierto.

TMZ obtuvo el informe original realizado por el oficial de arresto y se detalla una escena muy polémica cuando los oficiales detuvieron a Gibson a lo largo de la PCH cerca de Malibú, fue entonces cuando estalló en un discurso vulgar y antisemita en el cual el actor se dirigió a los judíos una y otra vez.

Esto es sólo una muestra de lo que las fuerzas del orden escucharon esa noche: "Judíos de mierda... Los judíos son responsables de todas las guerras del mundo". También preguntó a un agente: "¿Es usted judío?".

Michael Richards usa la palabra con N (2006)

La famosa actuación de Michael Richards en Laugh Factory en noviembre de 2006 pasará a la historia por todas las razones equivocadas. Resulta que dijo la palabra con N en repetidas ocasiones y TMZ consiguió el primer video de este momento tan bajo.

La estrella de "Seinfeld" perdió los estribos esa noche mientras actuaba ante un público moderado, después de que algunos miembros del público le interrumpieran, lo que provocó que se lanzara a un horrible discurso racista, gritando un montón de basura hiriente.

Se disculpó, pero el daño ya estaba hecho y su carrera nunca volvió a ser la misma.

El incidente del paraguas y la cabeza rapada de Britney Spears (2007)

Britney Spears comenzó a actuar extraño a finales de 2006 pero llegó a su peak a principios de 2007, cuando tomó las tijeras y cortó sus famosos mechones largos quedando completamentee calva. El extraño momento provocó mucha preocupación por su estado de ánimo y salud.

Por supuesto, todo fue público pocos días después cuando atacó a los paparazzi que la habían seguido hasta una gasolinera de Los Ángeles, bajándose de su vehículo y abalanzándose sobre ellos con un paraguas. Por supuesto, todo fue captado por las cámaras.

Fuimos el primer medio en publicar la caótica escena y marcó el comienzo de una espiral descendente para Brit, que culminó con su ingreso en una tutela judicial un año después. En 2021 fue finalmente liberada de la tutela, recibiendo apoyo de hordas de sus fans en el movimiento #FreeBritney.

Desde entonces, su comportamiento errático ha preocupado a la gente, pero sus problemas no son ni de lejos lo que eran a mediados de la década de 2000 así que por ahora, parece estar bastante mejor.

Primer accidente de Tiger Woods (2009)

Tiger Woods tuvo un año tumultuoso en 2009. Todo comenzó cuando su romance con Rachel Uchitel se hizo público y comenzó a afectar su carrera. El asunto llegó a un punto crítico en noviembre de 2009 cuando se informó de que se estrelló su carro cerca de su casa en un accidente.

Por supuesto, más tarde nos enteramos de que momentos antes de que se estrellara, su entonces esposa Elin Nordegren se había enfrentado a él por el asunto y golpeó el carro con un palo de golf.

Nunca fue arrestado por ese accidente, pero no sería la última vez. Tuvo al menos otros dos, incluyendo un accidente que lo dejó gravemente herido.

Los comentarios racistas de Donald Sterling (2014)

El ex propietario de los Clippers, Donald Sterling, fue grabado en una cinta menospreciando a los afroamericanos en 2014. El audio obtenido por primera vez por TMZ Sports, mostraba cuando reprendió a su novia por "asociarse" con afroamericanos y llevarlos a los partidos de los Clippers. La NBA acabó destituyéndolo como propietario.

Solange, la hermana de Beyonce, ataca a Jay-Z en un ascensor (2014)

La hermana de Beyoncé, Solange Knowles, atacó a su cuñado, Jay-Z, en un ascensor en una fiesta de la Met Gala a la que todos asistieron y TMZ publicó el video primero.

La pelea fue surrealista, con Solange golpeando a Jay-Z y Bey simplemente de pie. La razón exacta de su incidente en el ascensor siempre ha sido un poco confusa, pero los informes han sugerido que fue a causa de algo que Jay dijo directamente a su esposa y su hermano. Otros, sin embargo, han especulado durante mucho tiempo que todo estaba relacionado con una supuesta infidelidad por parte de Jay-Z.

Ray Rice noquea a su prometida en un ascensor (2014)

Tristan Thompson engaña a Khloe Kardashian (2017)

El padre de los hijos de Khloe Kardashian, Tristan Thompson, estaba engañandola meses antes de que ella diera a luz a su primer hijo, un feo incidente que fue capturado en un video de vigilancia en 2017 y publicado por primera vez por TMZ en 2018.

Jussie Smollett afirmó que fue atacado por partidarios de Trump a principios de 2019. Dijo que lanzaron epítetos racistas y homofóbicos, pero que más tarde se encontró que era todo una gran mentira.

TMZ publicó la historia primero, cuando casi todo el mundo creía que la estrella de "Empire" había sido, de hecho, víctima de un crimen de odio. La historia comenzó a cambiar durante las semanas siguientes hasta que la policía finalmente salió a explicar que él había inventado todo.

Michael Jackson (2009)

El significado y la enormidad de la muerte de Michael Jackson en el verano de 2009 es innegable y nosotros fuimos el primer medio de noticias en confirmr e informar los hechos.

El Rey del Pop sufrió un paro cardíaco en su casa de Los Ángeles luego de una sobredosis de propofol y benzodiazepina que había sido administrada por su médico de ese momento, Conrad Murray. Murray fue finalmente condenado por homicidio involuntario.

Murray podría haber sido el último en administrarle medicamentos para el dolor a Michael. Toda esta lucha contra su malestar habría durado por años y lo cubrimos todo en un documental.

No hace falta decir que su muerte sacudió al mundo y sus fans estuvieron de luto durante semanas y semanas.

Whitney Houston (2012)

El repentino fallecimiento de Whitney Houston en 2012 fue tan impactante como el de Michael.

Como informamos por primera vez, se ahogó en una bañera en el hotel Beverly Hilton. Una autopsia reveló más tarde que su sistema estaba lleno de cocaína y otras sustancias al momento de su muerte. Las autoridades finalmente dictaminaron que fue accidental.

Paul Walker (2013)

La muerte de Paul Walker conmocionó a Hollywood. Muerte que fue producto de un terrible accidente de carro del que TMZ fue el primero en informar en su momento.

En 2013, Paul y su amigo, Roger Rodas, estaban saliendo de un evento de caridad en el Valle de San Fernando y se subieron a un Porsche de alta potencia, con Paul como pasajero y Rodas conduciendo. Terminaron conduciendo por una carretera increíblemente rápido y perdieron el control del vehículo.

El coche se estrelló contra un muro de hormigón y estalló en llamas matandolos a ámbos. Paul estaba en pleno rodaje de la séptima película de "Fast & Furious" y tuvo que ser sustituido en cámara por sus hermanos como dobles.

Prince (2016)

La muerte de Prince fue otra historia estremecedora que TMZ publicó primero en 2016, rivalizando con la importancia de Michael y Whitney y dejando a los fans de la música en todas partes con el corazón roto.

El cantante de "Purple Rain" vivió sirscunstancias similares a la de sus colegas. Siendo víctima de una sobredosis accidental de drogas. Había obtenido analgésicos con fentanilo en circunstancias sospechosas.

A medida que la investigación sobre su muerte se desarrollaba, la magnitud del dolor de Prince se dio a conocer al público. Como informamos por primera vez, el cuerpo de Mac fue encontrado en su casa después de una sobredosis accidental. Una investigación reveló que había tomado pastillas de Percocet que estaban mezcladas con fentanilo y en el transcurso de tres años, los traficantes involucrados terminaron en la corte.

Todos fueron procesados y un puñado de ellos se han declarado culpables desde entonces.

Kobe Bryant (2020)

La muerte de Kobe Bryant es sin duda una de las más grandes que TMZ ha publicado primero, trascendiendo los deportes, el entretenimiento y los medios de comunicación en general.

A principios de 2020, él y un puñado de amigos —así como su joven hija, Gianna— viajaban en un helicóptero privado que estaba utilizando para viajar desde Orange County a Thousand Oaks, el cual terminó estrellándose contra una montaña en Calabasas y ardiendo en llamas.

Todos los que iban a bordo murieron y la investigación posterior acabó revelando que algunos socorristas que llegaron al lugar tomaron fotos indecorosas, algo que la viuda de Kobe, Vanessa Bryant, demandó y ganó tras un largo y arduo proceso legal.

Angus Cloud (2023)

La estrella de "Euphoria" era un talento prometedor en Hollywood, por eso todo el mundo quedó sorprendido cuando informamos por primera vez de su repentina muerte.

Angus Cloud fue encontrado inconsciente en casa de su madre este año y tras realizarle la autopsia, se determinó que había sufrido una sobredosis accidental. Sus compañeros de reparto, entre los que se encontraban Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney y otros, lamentaron su fallecimiento.

Matthew Perry (2023)

La muerte de Matthew Perry este año es por lejos la más impactante y trágica debido a su estatus como un favorito de Hollywood en "Friends", por no hablar de su historia de abuso de sustancias.

Dimos la primicia, Matthew fue encontrado muerto en su casa el mes pasado y estaba sumergido en su bañera de hidromasaje. La causa aún no se ha determinado. Aunque muchos sospechaban que las drogas o el alcohol podrían haber estado involucrados, pero no ha habido ninguna evidencia de eso en lo absoluto.

Complex's Speedy Mormon asked Rozay to detail the embarrassing moment during his co-interview with Meek Mill to promote their joint album ... and he recalled trying to maneuver around D.C. in spite of being on house arrest at the time.

We broke the story back in 2016 ... Ross was among the hip hop heavyhitters invited to the WH for Obama's Brother's Keeper youth initiative when the ankle monitor went off. He'd been fitted with the device after his 2015 arrest for aggravated assault and aggravated battery.

Rozay remembers hearing the thing beeping outta control, and says he slumped in his seat hoping no one would notice -- but, it's totally the Secret Service's job to notice. He says agents sprung into action seeking out the source of the noise.

Obama totally heard the ankle monitor and commented, but the MMG rapper won't spill the deets on what was said. Although, he seems to think Busta Rhymes, who was also there, will!!!

Also in attendance were J. Cole, Wale, Chance The Rapper, DJ Khaled, as well as Nicki Minaj, who was dating Meek at the time.

Meek says he was also on house arrest at the time ... and learned of the incident after Nicki came home cussing him out that he wasn't capitalizing off the moment.

Un momento aterrador pasó la familia de la superestrella del fútbol Neymar. En la madrugada de este martes, tres hombres supuestamente irrumpieron en el condominio de su pareja Bruna Biancardi en Sao Paulo en un intento de atacarla a ella y a su bebé recién nacido.

Neymar y Bruna, que empezaron a salir en 2021, no estaban en casa en ese momento, según los medios locales, pero los padres de ella estaban presentes cuando los intrusos supuestamente entraron en la residencia.

Los informes afirman que dos hombres armados y otro sospechoso ataron a los padres de Bruna y procedieron a saquear la casa de la influencer, llevándose artículos de lujo como relojes, bolsos de diseño y joyas.

Terrifying moment for soccer superstar Neymar's family -- three men reportedly broke into his partner Bruna Biancardi's Sao Paulo condo early Tuesday morning in an attempt to target her and their newborn baby.

Neymar and Bruna -- who started dating in 2021 -- weren't home at the time, according to local outlets ... but her parents were present when the intruders allegedly entered the residence.

Reports state two armed men and another suspect tied up Bruna's parents and proceeded to ransack the influencer's place ... taking luxury items like watches, designer purses and jewelry.

According to R7 newspaper, the suspects were allegedly looking for Neymar and Bruna's baby girl Mavie -- who was born in early October. In fact, the Al Hilal striker shared a picture with his child on Monday.

Thankfully, no one was injured ... and neighbors were quick to notify security during the home invasion.

One of the suspects -- a 20-year-old -- was arrested during the act. It is believed he is Bruna's neighbor and used his access to the neighborhood to allow the other suspects in the gate.

The other two suspects are still on the loose ... but so far, one has been identified.

11/7 -- 8:26 AM PT -- Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s attorney, Michael Baum, tells TMZ ... "We needed to take this step because President Joe Biden won't give Mr. Kennedy security protection despite the clear need demonstrated by Jonathan Macht's and others' actions."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. doesn't have the Secret Service protecting him, as he would like, so he's running to a judge for help after a guy twice tried to unlawfully enter his home.

The 2024 presidential candidate is seeking court-ordered protection from a man named Jonathan Macht, who police previously identified as RFK Jr.'s home intruder.

RFK Jr. beelined it to court Monday and filed for a temporary restraining order against Macht ... according to online records. It's unclear if a judge signed off.

TMZ broke the story ... Macht was arrested last month after cops say he twice attempted to get inside the Brentwood home where RFK Jr. lives with his wife, Cheryl Hines.

Remember ... cops said Macht got over the fence and into the yard before being detained by RFK Jr.'s security until police arrived to arrest him.

Law enforcement said the guy was released from custody, only to come back to the RFK Jr.'s home the following day, leading to another arrest.

What's more, Kennedy's campaign claimed the guy asked to speak with RFK Jr., who we're told was home at the time of both incidents.

Kennedy's team says they've alerted Secret Service about Macht several times in recent months, labeling him an "obsessed" individual.

But as Cheryl told us on "TMZ Live," Kennedy has struck out in multiple attempts to get Secret Service protection, despite his strong numbers at the polls and his family's tragic history.

With no Secret Service agents, it looks like RFK Jr. wants the courts to help here.

LAPD Threat Management continues to investigate this case.

Heavyweight boxing star Jared "Big Baby" Anderson -- who Tyson Fury calls a future champ -- was arrested Monday in Ohio after cops say he was driving under the influence with a gun in his car.

Oregon (OH) Police Department tells TMZ Sports the arrest occurred a little after 1 AM after an officer allegedly saw Anderson driving his '23 Dodge Charger 55 in a 40 MPH zone, and initially pulled him over for speeding.

During the stop, the cop says he smelled "the faint odor of burnt marijuana," as well as alcohol on Anderson's breath. The officer also allegedly spotted an opened bottle of Don Julio tequila.

OPD says they observed Anderson's eyes, which were allegedly "bloodshot and glassy," so they administered a blood alcohol content test which came up .038, under the legal limit (.08).

As part of the stop, officers also conducted a search of his vehicle ... and located a firearm in the glovebox.

According to Lucas County jail records, the 23-year-old was booked on two charges ... improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle knowingly transporting under the influence, and operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI).

OVI can be used to charge a person operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

The news comes just days after Fury praised the 16-0 (15 KOs) fighter, calling Anderson the next star of the heavyweight division.

"Jared's the man. This is the future champ," Fury said ahead of his bout with Francis Ngannou.

"I said it three years ago. This is the heir to the throne.”

Anderson started boxing as a teenager and has won several championships ... from the Elite National Championships to the National Golden Gloves.

Doc Antle is facing potential prison time -- 'cause the guy cut a deal with the feds in his criminal case ... pleading guilty to charges of sneaking around animals and conspiring to launder money.

The 'Tiger King' star pled guilty Monday to one count of a wildlife trafficking charge and another count of a conspiracy to launder money ... both of which carry a max penalty of 5 years behind bars, a fine up to $250k and 3 years of supervised release.

It remains to be seen what the judge will ultimately sentence him to ... hizzoner is gonna review a report from the U.S. Probation Office in making that determination.

As we reported ... this whole thing stems from a bust last summer, when FBI agents hauled Antle into custody after he'd been indicted. The indictment alleged Doc engaged in an elaborate scheme to traffic wildlife dating back many years.

Long story short ... prosecutors said Doc concealed financial transactions related to animal trafficking and profited from it over the years.

Among the allegations, prosecutors claimed Doc had directed the sale of some cheetah cubs, lion cubs, tigers and a chimp ... allegedly using bulk payments to hide the transactions and falsifying paperwork. The feds also claimed he tried using his nonprofit in these sales as a way to make them look like donations.

La Policía Metropolitana de Londres confirma que los dos activistas fueron detenidos bajo sospecha de daños criminales, pero hay algo más que sospechas aquí, la evidencia es clara y condenatoria.

Por cierto, el cuadro ya tenía antecedentes de vandalismo. Ya en 1914, la sufragista Mary Richardson rajó la obra de arte de la "mujer más bella del mundo" por a) la desnudez representada por la mirada masculina y b) para hacer una declaración política tras la detención de su compatriota, Emmeline Pankhurst que presionó para que las mujeres obtuvieran el voto.

Recuerde, este mismo grupo se ha labrado una reputación como destructores de arte. Han ido por ahí salpicando pintura y sopa en otras pinturas famosas en Europa y siempre usan las mismas camisetas fácilmente reconocibles.

Uno pensaría que los guardias de seguridad del museo debieron pensarlo dos veces antes de dejarlos entrar.

Anti-oil protestors hit the gas on their latest display of environmental activism ... breaking through a glass ceiling of sorts ... or a pricey glass-covered painting, is more like it.

This wild display of a demonstration went down Monday at London's National Gallery -- which was housing the Diego Velázquez painting you see here ... getting absolutely crushed by a couple of Just Stop Oil advocates, who have a history of destroying art to make their point.

In this case, they were caught red-handed yet again ... only this time, instead of making a mess by splashing some crap on a painting -- they decided to just hammer away.

Watch ... this guy and gal -- who are proudly rocking their JSO shirts -- go to town on the glass cover of this Velázquez artwork, which is known as the Rokeby Venus. It doesn't look like they were able to get to the actual painting underneath, but they crushed the exterior.

London's Metro Police confirm the two activists were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage ... but there's more than just suspicion here, the evidence is clear and damning.

BTW, the painting already had some history of being vandalized. Back in 1914, suffragette Mary Richardson slashed the artwork of the "most beautiful woman in the world" for a) the nudity depicted by the male gaze and b) to make a political statement following the arrest of her compatriot, Emmeline Pankhurst .. who pushed for women to get the vote.

Remember, this same group has carved a rep for itself as art destroyers. They've gone around splashing paint and soup at other famous paintings there in Europe ... and each time, they're always wearing these same easily recognizable tees.

You'd think these museum security guards would wise up and stop letting them in.

10:00 AM PT -- Jorge Masvidal spoke outside the courthouse ... just minutes after accepting a plea deal in the Colby Covington battery case. Beef squashed?? Not exactly! 😬

Jorge Masvidal struck a sweet deal with the district attorney prosecuting the Colby Covington case ... the retired UFC superstar pled no contest to misdemeanor battery, and will not serve a minute behind bars, or on probation, TMZ Sports has learned.

As a result of the plea agreement, the two felonies Jorge faced were dropped, aggravated assault and criminal mischief, according to Masvidal's attorney, Bradford Cohen.

We're also told there is no stay-away order in the plea.

According to the DA's office, the case was "adjudicated guilty," though Masvidal never admitted guilt, according to Cohen.

Masvidal had been facing over a decade behind bars.

Of course, the incident happened in March 2022 outside of Papi Steak in Miami Beach ... where Colby was having dinner with the Nelk Boys. When CC left, Masvidal was outside waiting, and the attack was on.

Covington told police Masvidal punched him twice, breaking his tooth, and even causing an alleged brain injury.

The felon, who is nearing the end of her 10-year sentence for the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee, is hoping her "Wildest Dreams" come true ... telling TMZ she and her husband Ryan have tickets for the Kansas City Chiefs game on Dec. 31.

Gypsy's scheduled to get out on Dec. 28, and she's counting on running into her idol at Arrowhead Stadium.

Realizing Tay Tay might not be there to watch BF Travis Kelce during that particular game, Gypsy has a backup plan, which is buying tickets for Taylor's October 2024 tour stop in New Orleans.

Clearly, she's determined to meet the singer, who Gypsy adoringly calls the "kick-ass chick" who's taught her the true meaning of girl power.

What's more, Tay's songs have served as massive inspo -- she says "Eyes Open" helped her push through the trauma from her mother's abuse ... which was detailed in the 2017 documentary, "Mommy Dead and Dearest."

Gypsy admits she mainly uses the commissary money her father sends to buy every TS album.

BTW, she's also a football fan, and would be thrilled to meet Travis too.

Of course, this might sound like a little pie in the sky -- Taylor sits in a luxury suite when she's at the stadium, and Travis is a little busy on game days.

A California lawmaker is now in trouble with the law after she blamed her drunk driving arrest on a sneeze, causing her to crash -- while she was reportedly double the legal alcohol limit.

State Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo was cruising in her Audi in L.A. early Friday morning when she collided with another car, which lurched forward, striking a third vehicle.

A resident heard a loud bang and ran outside with his cell phone, filming what he described as an obviously intoxicated Carrillo, who was slurring her words and reeked of booze.

Check out the video ... responding LAPD officers approached Carrillo, who offered this explanation for the crash, "I'm sorry, I sneezed, and I lost track of the vehicle."

The cops administered a field sobriety test to Carrillo, who, at one point, lost her balance and nearly fell to the ground, but one of the officers caught her.

Carrillo was then arrested and booked for suspicion of driving under the influence during a traffic collision with a high blood-alcohol count, the L.A. Times reported.

LAPD Capt. Kelly Muniz told the media outlet Carrillo's alcohol level was “double the legal limit or more.”

After she was released from jail without bail, Carrillo issued a statement, accepting responsibility for her actions, while acknowledging as a public servant she must be held to a higher standard. She also apologized to her family, constituents and staff members and promised to "seek the necessary help and support.”

RR Auction has over 80 objects up for sale connected to November 22, 1963 ... including a section of the wooden picket fence behind the "grassy knoll" that overlooked the Presidential parade route. Lots of people -- including many who were there that day -- believe at least one gunman fired from that fence.

That's not all -- the auction house is selling a window from the Texas School Book Depository ... the building where Lee Harvey Oswald fired shots at JFK.

Also included in the auction are Oswald's first handgun, which he sold to his brother for $10 ... and Oswald's phone call receipt from jail -- the call he made just 1 day after JFK's assassination and one day before Oswald himself was shot and killed while in custody.

There are a ton of hidden gems for history buffs ... a lucky bidder can secure JFK's personal diary from 1945 ... which features a ton of insights before he became President.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross allegedly roughed up his girlfriend, broke her stuff ... and then knifed her Mercedes during an altercation that led to his arrest last week.

The allegations are all spelled out in newly released court documents, obtained by TMZ Sports.

In the docs -- an affidavit -- prosecutors say cops told them the incident between Ross and his girlfriend happened in Johnson County, Kansas on Oct. 23 ... after the football player allegedly found out the woman had been cheating on him.

According to the documents, the woman told cops that after Ross viewed her phone ... he got in her face, pushed her, threw her to the floor, and then began throwing objects at her. The docs say the woman was seen with "a small scratch" on her hand following the incident.

Officials say the woman also told cops Ross broke several of her items during the confrontation, including jewelry, a cell phone, a laptop and her Mercedes key.

The docs also note that two neighbors say they witnessed Ross push the woman ... as well as "run a knife across" the woman's vehicle.

According to the docs, however, Ross told cops he had thrown the woman's stuff out the door after he found out she was cheating him. He allegedly admitted to breaking a computer -- though he claimed it was his. He denied breaking anything else that belonged to the woman, the docs state.

As we reported, Ross was ultimately arrested over the allegations and charged with one count of domestic battery with no priors as well as one count of criminal damage of less than $1,000. He pleaded not guilty to the charges at a hearing on Oct. 24. He's due to appear before a judge once again on Dec. 4.

As for his football career, he was placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List on Oct. 27, which means he's not currently allowed to play in games or practice with the Chiefs ... though he can still attend meetings and get any necessary medical treatment while his criminal case plays out.
