Messi & Ronaldo Check(mate) the New Louis Ad ... Two Greats Play Chess!!!
Louis Vuitton has done the impossible --- getting two soccer G.O.A.T.s to play nice off the pitch ... doing so with a nice and quiet classic board game.
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are both featured in a new LV campaign that got posted/announced Saturday. It's a photo of the two of them playing chess on top of a Louis Vuitton suitcase ... using the signature squares as spaces for their pieces.
Waiting for your permission to load the Instagram Media.
The company described the collab this way ... "Victory is a State of Mind." They add, "In addition to a long tradition of crafting trunks for the world’s most coveted sporting trophies, the Maison celebrates two of the most talented football players today."
The picture was shot by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz ... who's contributed to countless spreads like this. But, the Messi and Ronaldo one is perhaps more relevant than ever ... the 2022 World Cup is just one day away, with the first match scheduled Sunday.
Neither guy's teams -- Argentina and Portugal -- are playing until Tuesday and Thursday of next week, respectively, but it could prove to be their last WC appearances ever. LM has already said he's bowing out after this, and Ronaldo has also suggested he may retire soon.
With that said, this coming together is legendary. Unclear whether this was a one-off photo shoot or a sign of a new product line they're both signed to ... but it's awesome either way.

Banksy Go Shoplift At Guess ... They Stole My Artwork!!!
Banksy is going to war with Guess -- accusing the clothing brand of stealing his work -- and now encouraging folks to steal from the retailer's London store.
The famous graffiti artist just put out a call to all shoplifters, encouraging them to visit the Guess retailer on Regent Street in London.
Banksy posted an image of the Guess storefront, and it looks like the retailer has his Flower Thrower graffiti displayed along with clothes bearing some of his famous works.
In his post, Banksy rips into Guess, saying ... "They've helped themselves to my artwork without asking, how can it be wrong for you to do the same to their clothes?"
Guess recently started selling a new collection and the clothing line ads brag about items "with graffiti by Banksy." Guess says the collection is a collab with Brandalised, which Guess describes as "an urban graffiti license whose mission is to offer Banksy fans affordable graffiti collectibles."
In the wake of Banksy's post, Guess reportedly closed the Regent Street location to shoppers, covered up the window display and beefed up security.

- 9.3K shares
Kanye West may have gotten the boot from Adidas, but he's clearly not done with the company ... still rockin' the brand as if nothing happened.
Ye was spotted Thursday night, leaving the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills with a glass of bubbly. He was with super right-winger Milo Yiannopoulos and a woman. Ye was decked out in his Balenciaga x Adidas collection -- a black sweatshirt and white crossover bag, all emblazoned with the Adidas logo.
Unclear how Adidas feels about Kanye's clothing choices after it cut ties with Ye in the wake of his antiemetic rants.
The company said they would continue to sell Ye-inspired shoes, but without a trace of the Yeezy name.
Balenciaga and numerous other companies including Vogue and T.J. Maxx also ended their relationships with the once-billionaire rapper.

Kim Kardashian Posts Sexy SKIMS Lingerie Pics As Pete Hangs with Emily R.
Pete Davidson might've been busy hanging out with Emily Ratajkowski, but Kim Kardashian had no problem reminding the world just how hot she is with a series of lingerie pics ... showing off her billion-dollar SKIMS brand in the process.
Kim just opened up her online SKIMS holiday shop, and to christen the launch she modeled some of the lingerie pieces available for customers -- and she looks incredible.
While the shop did just open up, the timing of Kim's post is interesting -- considering it came just a few hours after we posted photos and video of her ex, Pete Davidson, hanging out with Emily Ratajkowski in NYC.
First, Pete attempted to pick Emily up at her place, but when paps foiled that plan, she took an Uber to his place before entering a back door to be greeted by the comedian with a hug. We should also note -- it was Pete's bday.
A new episode of "The Kardashians" also launched Thursday -- and in a cute exchange between Pete and Kim (when they were still dating) -- they joke about the time Pete asked Kim for her number at The Met Gala and she politely denied him, saying she couldn't type it into his phone with her gloves on.

Former "HQ" host Scott Rogowsky has some incredible items from the world of trivia ... courtesy of Alex Trebek's estate sale, and now he's ready to part ways with some of Trebek's sweet threads.
We got Scott Monday at his shop, "Quiz Daddy's Closet" in Santa Monica, and he says he took a trip to the late "Jeopardy" host's sale back in April and made a beeline directly for the closet items.
Seems to have been the right strategy -- Scott made off with a bunch of goodies, from custom jerseys to rare limited edition T-shirts, and he's using the goods for an auction that'll benefit those who are really in need.
Scott tells us the proceeds from Monday night's live auction will be going to the Lustgarten Foundation -- which supports pancreatic cancer research ... as you know, that's what Alex died of back in 2020.
The auction goes down Monday, Nov. 14 at 6 PM PT. FYI -- sounds like Scott's gonna drop some great trivia questions, too ... for old times' sake!!!

Rick Ross Okay, I'm a Hoarder!!! Confesses After Khaled's Air Jordan Drop
Rick Ross is finally coming to grips with the fact he's got way more stuff than he can handle -- but he still made room at his Georgia estate when he got a very special Jumpman delivery!!!
Rozay's finally admitting he's a proud hoarder, a title he really couldn't avoid seeing as how he had an armful of DJ Khaled's new custom Air Jordans at the moment.
Apparently, there are only 23 of the complete DJ Khaled x Nike Air Jordan 5 capsules and Rozay is a lucky recipient.
The J's will be released on November 28 AKA Cyber Monday '22, in "Sail" and "Crimson Bliss" colorways with the remaining ones staying on the exclusive circuit ... for now.
Khaled is hosting a fan event in Miami for the coveted kicks over the weekend to potentially induce more pandemonium ... but Rozay still has his work cut out at home as he decides what to keep and what to dump.
Earlier this week, he laid out tons of designer clothes and valuables across his mansion, debating if he should have a Boss-style yard sale.
At least he's only hoarding things people actually want!!!

Drake & 21 Savage Judge Yanks Phony 'Vogue' Covers
Score 1 for Anna Wintour in the Vogue war with Drake and 21 Savage -- a judge is forcing the rappers to shut down all their album promotions using a fake magazine cover ... at least for now.
As TMZ Hip Hop first reported ... Vogue publishers Condé Nast slapped the duo with a lawsuit over the promos they plastered around several cities and online. The phony Vogue, featuring 21 and Drizzy, was used to hype their new album, "Her Loss."
Now, a federal judge is siding with Vogue by issuing a temporary restraining order to shut down all current and future use and display of the mocked-up cover. The order also blocks them from using Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's likeness.
Prior to the album's release, Drake had posted the fake Vogue, and even shouted out Anna ... thanking her for putting them on the cover. Of course, that was all made up ... and, in fact, Condé Nast says it had explicitly told Drake and 21 they did NOT have permission to do the Vogue stunt.
Drake's taken down that post in accordance with the restraining order.
There's a court hearing scheduled for Nov. 22 on the matter, when both sides can present their cases. Condé Nast also sued for $4 million in damages, but the court hasn't addressed that yet.

Adidas Contract Says Ye Gets Paid for Yeezy Rebrand ... But, There's a Rub!!!
-
Exclusive
- 3.5K shares
Adidas' announcement it will sell Yeezy designs without Yeezy branding should be money to Kanye West's ears ... TMZ has learned he has that in writing, but he's not getting a dime.
Sources with direct knowledge of the deal Ye signed with Adidas ... tell us there's a clause in the contract that calls for the rapper/designer to get a reduced fee if Adidas sells his designs without his branding.
That's interesting because when Adidas cut ties last month with Ye -- over his antisemitic and bigoted statements -- it said it would not pay him a single cent from that day forward. Of course, that was before Wednesday's announcement it will roll out some of Ye's shoes in 2023 ... just with the Adidas name and markings, instead of Yeezy.
TMZ asked the German shoe co. if it planned to follow through on paying Ye's reduced fee, and a spokesman said he's getting zero, zilch, null ... bupkis.
Now, there's most likely a morals clause in the contract as well -- and Adidas could easily say Ye's hate speech constituted a breach which nullified their deal. Adidas is providing no further explanation, so we've gotta read the tea leaves.
10/25/22
Whatever the case ... if Ye wants compensation for the rebranded shoe sales, he's gonna have to tell it to a judge.

Phil Knight on Kyrie Irving Relationship With Nike 'Likely Over' ... 'Stepped Over The Line'
-
Breaking News
- 7.2K shares
Kyrie Irving's relationship with Nike is "likely over," says Phil Knight, co-founder and chairman of the manufacturing conglomerate.
In an interview with CNBC, the billionaire commented on Irving's future with the Swoosh, saying, "I would doubt that we go back. But, I don't know for sure."
"Kyrie stepped over the line. It's kind of that simple. He made some statements that we just can't abide by, and that's why we ended the relationship. And, I was fine with that."
As we reported on Friday, the shoe giant announced it was suspending its relationship with the Nets' superstar point guard after he refused to apologize for tweeting a link to a controversial film containing antisemitic messaging.
"At Nike, we believe there is no place for hate speech, and we condemn any form of antisemitism," the company said.
Nike's move to press pause on its partnership with Irving came after the Nets suspended Kyrie for at least five games -- the team felt that the 30-year-old wasn't contrite when he apologized for the harm he caused the Jewish community.
Like the Nets, Nike, too, was disappointed in Irving's seeming reluctance to disavow the antisemitic content in the film he tweeted, which left the company no choice but to suspend Kyrie's deal.
Knight told the outlet that when signing athletes, they consider not only how good the athlete is ... but also the kind of character the individual displays.
"It's not an exact science, but it's a process that we go through with a lot of intensity and with a lot of people sticking their hand in it."

Adidas Confirms More Yeezys on the Way!!! But, with Different Name
-
Breaking News
- 4.9K shares
Kanye West's Yeezy designs will, in fact, live on at Adidas after all ... but they'll have a completely different title when they drop.
Adidas honchos announced Wednesday the company plans to continue selling more of the Ye-inspired shoes starting as early as 2023, but without a trace of the Yeezy name ... according to Insider.
Adidas reportedly emphasized to their shareholders the company remains the sole owner of the core designs of the current Yeezys in circulation ... including shoe silhouettes and colorways. As such, they feel they have every right to keep hawking them.
Adidas also gave some sobering financial numbers -- noting it expects to lose up to half a billion dollars in annual revenue as a result of ending the partnership with Ye.
Previously, execs said they'd take a $247 million hit, this year alone.
Unclear if they're going to discard the Yeezy inventory they have right now, or retweak and rerelease them. In any case, it sounds like sneakerheads will see "Yeezys" on the market again soon enough.
Adidas had already signaled this move when it first cut ties with Kanye -- explicitly saying the shoe designs belonged to them. Kanye hasn't publicly said anything about that stance or the company's plan to sell rebranded Yeezys.
We know Kanye's griped in the past about ownership. As it stands, at least on paper, he only owns the patent to Yeezy Slides.
FWIW, there are 14 different Yeezy shoe products (sans the Slides) that have been released over the years, and lord knows they've been popular and profitable thus far.
The question now is ... are they worth as much without Ye's name attached? We, and Adidas, are gonna find out.

Johnny Depp From Pirate to Savage ... Walking the Runway at Rihanna's Fashion Show
Johnny Depp's clearly moved on from walking the plank ... he's now strutting his stuff at Rihanna's Savage X Fenty fashion show.
J.D. looked swag walking through a fake forest with dancers in tow -- gussied up in Rihanna's men's collection.
The actor hit the runway to Outkast's "So Fresh, So Clean" ... unclear if the reference is to the dude or the duds.
TMZ broke the story ... Johnny would model at Rihanna's show, which has been littered with stars over the years, including Cindy Crawford and Erykah Badu. J.D. has the distinction of being the first man to assume the role.
Johnny's been super busy since winning in court against ex-wife/nemesis Amber Heard. He's been rockin' out in concert and recently appeared as the Moon Person at the VMA's.

F1's Sergio Pérez Rocking 'Wakanda Forever' Helmet ... For Brazilian Grand Prix
Red Bull driver Sergio Pérez will have the power of the Black Panther when he hits the track in Brazil this week -- he'll be wearing an awesome 'Wakanda Forever' helmet!!
"My helmet for the next race, your thoughts?," Checo said alongside pics of the movie premiere on Monday. "Hope we can be as fast as Black Panther."
Let's be honest -- Red Bull doesn't need any vibranium on their side to come away with a win this weekend ... as they've been crushing it in 2022.
Pérez and his teammate Max Verstappen are currently at the top of the driver standings ... with the latter already securing the championship.
The helmet is really cool -- it's matte gray with the Black Panther logo on top ... with "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" written across the back.
It's perfect timing for Checo to rock the look -- the Marvel flick is set to hit theaters on Friday.
If the helmet does make the Red Bull cars go as fast as Black Panther, it will be more bad news for Charles Leclerc and Ferrari.

Jessica Simpson Responds to Concern Online ... After Odd Ad Performance
Jessica Simpson is responding to some serious concerns from her fans ... after being featured in an ad online that many saw as anything but normal.
Jessica starred in a new Pottery Barn Kids clip last week ... where she showed off her 3-year-old Birdie's room -- showing how the company's collection brought the place together.
Seems harmless enough ... but the comment section quickly filled up with concerning messages -- with many asking if she's ok, and one even writing "blink twice if you need help Jess." Some saw the performance as forced, with the speech just feeling off.
The 42-year-old singer responded to the noise Sunday night ... posting a clip of herself singing in her studio in order to "ground myself and heal" -- adding, "peoples' comments and judgments can still hurt deeply with their incessant nagging."
She doesn't directly call BS on the worrisome fans' fears, but adds, "The most important thing I have learned through the last 5yrs without alcohol being a guard for escapism, is that I CAN and ALWAYS WILL get through it."
As we reported, Jessica's had her sights set on determination and self-love for years now following her bouts with alcoholism ... telling the world earlier this year she's gained and lost 100 pounds 3 times now.

Kanye West 'White Lives Matter' Rights Price Tag ... Only $1 Billion, Owner Says
-
Exclusive
Kanye West is going to need to shell out 10 figures if he wants any chance at owning the rights to 'White Lives Matter' ... so says one of the owners of the phrase.
Ramses Ja, who got the rights to 'WLM' last month along with his radio show co-host Quinton Ward, tells TMZ ... they're not looking to sell the trademark, but any potential buyer would have to come up with a $1 billion offer to even make them consider selling.
For Ramses, the most important thing is helping organizations fighting for Black people's rights ... so a $1 billion dollar offer would make them reconsider their desire not to sell, because they could do so much good with that kind of money.
Kanye's been stirring the pot with his "White Lives Matter" shirts for a month, but he hasn't been able to sell them in America because he doesn't own the rights.
As we reported ... the trademark was acquired by an anonymous listener of Ramses and Quinton's racial justice radio show, "Civic Cipher" ... filing it the same day Ye wore the controversial look at Paris Fashion Week.
The listener transferred ownership over to Ramses and Quinton a few weeks back ... and it covers the right to sell clothing with those words displayed.
Ramses says their lawyer would take legal action against Kanye, or anyone else if the shirts are sold ... and the $1 billion price tag would appear to be an even bigger deterrent.
Kanye West Loses Billionaire Status After Adidas Terminates Deal
Kanye's no longer a billionaire after losing tons of business partners over his antisemitic rhetoric ... and Ramses says Ye has not reached out to him about the trademark rights.
And, get this ... in order for Ramses and Quinton to retain their trademark, they need to use it in commerce, they can't just sit on it ... and based on what Ramses is telling us here, it seems like they're coming up with a unique way to hang on to the rights.

Kyrie Irving Nike Suspending Relationship 'No Place For Hate Speech'

Nike is pressing pause on its endorsement deal with Kyrie Irving ... and now his signature shoe is being shelved.
The shoe giant announced Friday it was suspending its business relationship with the NBA star, explaining ... "At Nike, we believe there is no place for hate speech and we condemn any form of antisemitism."
Nike also says it will no longer launch the Kyrie 8 basketball shoe, adding ... "We are deeply saddened and disappointed by the situation and its impact on everyone."
As you know ... Kyrie's faced a ton of backlash ever since tweeting out a link to an antisemitic film last week.
Nike isn't the first to come down on Irving. The Nets announced Thursday they were suspending him at least 5 games after he refused to outright apologize for promoting the film. The Nets said Kyrie will not be allowed to play for the club again until he "satisfies a series of objective remedial measures that address the harmful impact of his conduct."
The point guard finally issued a lengthy mea culpa on his social media after being suspended, but folks are questioning his sincerity.
Kyrie's apology wasn't enough to save his relationship with Nike ... at least for now.
