Y'know those massive escalators at Universal Studios Hollywood? Well, imagine a food cart careening down them with innocent people in the line of fire -- and now watch this video of that happening.

Terrifying footage of the plunging cart was posted from what seems to be Halloween Horror Nights at the Universal City theme park. It appears an employee lost control of the equipment as they were taking it down an escalator.

The food cart made a huge ruckus as it started tumbling down the stairs ... which might have alerted folks to duck and cover. Thankfully, it didn't end up making contact with anyone -- at least not in the video.

You can hear the person recording the video scream out, "What the f**k?!" Indeed, this could've taken an ugly turn fast -- especially because the park's been packed for Halloween Horror Nights.

The video does catch a glimpse of someone in a chef hat -- presumably a cook at the theme park -- who clearly realizes right away how bad this could've been.

Kanye West didn't hastily throw together "Jesus Is King" -- Kenny G says they recorded their collab for the album way back in February ... in a totally spontaneous and kinda romantic moment.

The legendary saxophonist came on "TMZ Live" Monday after his stirring performance at Kanye's Sunday Service in Los Angeles, and he told us their "Use This Gospel" track traces its roots back to Valentine's Day.

As you know, Kenny G joined Kanye to play "Use This Gospel" Sunday inside The Forum ... and Kenny says there was almost no rehearsal beforehand -- kinda like when he and Kanye recorded the song in the first place.

Kenny says their collab went down shortly after Valentine's Day, when Kanye invited him to the studio to listen to some of Yeezy's new music. Kenny says he told Kanye his sax would sound great on one particular track, so Ye whipped out a mic and started recording Kenny on the spot!

Remember ... Kanye hired Kenny to serenade Kim Kardashian West inside their living room on Valentine's Day ... and Kenny says the gig was the springboard for his "Jesus Is King" feature.

As for Sunday Service, Kenny gushes about the experience ... and he tells us why he went back onstage after his solo to whisper in Kanye's ear.

You'd think Billie Eilish would feel right at home within the hellish gates of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios -- but she actually looked a little freaked out.

The teen pop star -- known for her spooky visuals and goth-esque tunes -- was out Sunday night at the L.A. theme park, enjoying some good-natured frights with her mom, her brother Finneas, his GF Claudia and 2 friends tagging along.

At one point, Billie was clinging to one of her pals as they strolled the grounds. Seems like BE was on edge, and looking for a human shield of sorts.

Luckily for her ... there are other Universal Studios attractions that are open during Horror Nights that can take your mind off all the ghouls jumping out at you.

Billie and the gang got on the famous water ride, and she rode in the front seat next to her ma, who came along for the ride as well -- and everyone got soaked.

Paulina Gretzky DEFINITELY brought it for Halloween ...

Wayne Gretzky's smokin' hot daughter channeled Gabrielle Union in "Bring It On" ... putting on the tiniest Clover cheerleader outfit for her costume this year -- and she KILLED IT!!!

The 30-year-old mother of two celebrated the holiday in epic fashion ... partying it up with her golf superstar husband, Dustin Johnson.

The couple appeared to have the spooky bash at their place -- with golf star Brooks Koepka and his model GF, Jena Sims, in attendance -- but all eyes were on Gretzky.

The Great One's daughter was dancing, hula-hoopin' and waving pom-poms ... and it was pretty great.

As for the rest of the party, Dustin made a good Jackie Moon and Jena Sims CRUSHED her 'Devil Wears Prada' fit!!!

By the way, Gabby Union didn't let Paulina get all the "Bring It On" shine over the weekend ... 'cause she went back to her old movie cheerleading days and rocked the famous Clover costume again!!!

Gabby obviously looked amazing ... but she added an adorable twist to the look -- dressing up her insanely cute daughter as a cheerleader as well!

Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson grabbed an early-night bite -- and a kiss too -- before hitting up Universal Studios for some scares ... a pit stop that ended up costing Cody a bundle.

The singer was out Saturday night with her new Australian beau and a bunch of friends checking out this year's Halloween Horror Nights. But before they even got there, we're told the group of about 10 stopped off for some Mexican chow at Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks.

Sources who were present tell TMZ that when it came time to pay the bill, one of Miley's pals tried paying ... but we're told Cody sneakily slipped his card to the waiter instead.

All told ... our sources say the entire meal ended up running him about $1,000. Him paying might explain the smooch Miley planted on him before everyone headed out.

Not long after, Miley and the gang made their way to Universal City, where Miley rocked what appears to be a sexy cop costume, while CS opted for something a little more caj.

The whole posse posed for pics as they made their way around the park, hitting up different haunted mazes no doubt. Gotta say, Cody probably scored some major BF points that night.

Demi Lovato threw a crazy Halloween party Saturday night, and tons of celebs came out to celebrate.

The bash went down at Hyde nightclub in Hollywood. Among those who attended ... Paris Hilton, Larsa Pippen, Jason Derulo, Jake Paul, Madison Beer, Hana Cross, EJ Johnson, Jayde Nicole and Dorothy Wang.

Demi came as Pennywise from "It." Paris came as a schoolgirl. Larsa came in camo ... check out the gallery.

Kylie Jenner was supposed to attend, but her driver got in a little fender bender and she ended up being a no-show. She wasn't hurt and spent her night hanging with Sofia Richie. BTW ... Kylie was dressed as Madonna, circa 2003 VMA Awards.

Michael Jackson's imprint on Halloween culture is living on through his children -- one of whom's got an interesting tidbit about how his late father would celebrate ... incognito.

Prince Jackson hosted the third annual 'Thriller Night' at the Jackson family estate Friday night, which was all done in partnership with the charity Heal LA Foundation -- a nonprofit that emulates MJ's Heal the World org, but with a focus on those struggling in Los Angeles.

Tons of members of the Jackson clan rolled through, including Paris and Blanket (who goes by Bigi now), as well as Michael's nephews Taryll, TJ and Taj Jackson ... they all wore costumes.

While being interviewed outside the party, Prince shared a nice little nugget about life with their dad during the spooky holiday ... which, as it turns out, was one of the only times MJ could get out in public with his family without so much hoopla and attention.

PJ says because it's acceptable to be in costume for Halloween, MJ would take advantage and go trick-or-treating with the kids. Sounds like those outings were successful to a certain extent. MJ's nephews say there was always a tell that'd give him away. Any guesses???

As for what went down inside the actual party, it seemed pretty family-friendly ... with what appeared to be a haunted maze built in, and a 'Thriller' tribute show put on by dancers.

Of course, Michael's signature song has become a Halloween staple -- and tons of people still jam out to it and even rock his look from the music vid to this day. Again, a classic.

Halloween has officially hit Hollywood -- with massive parties to kick-off the holiday -- including star-studded events held by Paris Hilton and Dan Bilzerian.

Paris' party was held at a massive estate in Beverly Hills ... guests included Heidi Klum and her hubby, Kelly Osbourne, Paris Jackson and Ryan Phillippe. Paris was decked out in a super-hero worthy costume.

Bilzerian held his bash at a mansion in Bel Air with celeb buddies Diplo and Jason Derulo in attendance. The party even featured a neon haunted house for brave guests to walk through.

Eniko Hart hit up a pumpkin patch with her son, Kenzo ... and it's clear her husband, Kevin, is still a bit worse for wear.

The comedian was nowhere in sight Saturday as his wife and 1-year-old went pumpkin picking in Moorpark, but it looks like Eniko had everything under control ... grinning from ear to ear with her little tyke. The kid seemed to be in good spirits too.

As we reported ... Kevin's still recovering from a nasty car wreck he was involved in last month, which left him with 3 spinal fractures and required back surgery.

He's easing back to full health now -- even committing to promotional work he's gotta do for the new 'Jumanji' -- but obviously ... the guy's nowhere near 100% yet.

Charlie Brown isn't about to let Dolly Parton's theme park get away with using his famous Christmas tune -- at least not on the watch of the song's cowriter.

Lee Mendelson's production company is suing Dollywood for using the song "Christmas Time Is Here" in a play the amusement park puts on each year. Lee cowrote the song -- famously featured in "A Charlie Brown Christmas" -- and his production studio owns the copyright.

According to the docs, obtained by TMZ, Mendelson's company says it recently became aware Dollywood weaves the track into its stage play, "Twas the Night Before Christmas," which LM's team claims has been happening, without permission, since '07.

The use of the song is no secret ... you can find clips of the performance online, in which the cast sings the track. The iconic piano melody shows up as background music too.

Tyga's idea of a cozy date? Don't ask Kylie Jenner, ask the mystery brunette he was hanging with Thursday night as they most likely got the crap scared outta them.

The "Rack City" rapper hit up Universal Studio's Halloween Horror Nights -- arriving Thursday night with bodyguards and his lady friend. They got there around 9 PM and stayed through midnight. Tyga and the woman were pretty tight throughout the night.

Hey, ya gotta grab someone when the ghouls and monsters pop up outta nowhere.

We're told Tyga and his date went through ALL the mazes -- pretty impressive in a 3-hour span. Despite the scary setting, he kept her laughing plenty too.

By the look of things ... Tyga's paying no attention to reports he and Kylie were rekindling an old flame on the heels of her split with Travis Scott. She immediately tried to squash that rumor. He doubled down on that by posting a blue cap, insinuating media outlets were lying about Kylie and him.

The model turning Mister Rogers into a Halloween hottie with a new costume says the icon's hometown is pissed she sexed up his trademark look, but she insists Fred really was sexy ... in his own way.

Dessie Mitcheson -- who posed in the Nicest Neighbor Costume for online retailer Yandy -- tells us she's been hearing an earful from folks in Pittsburgh, which is near where both she and Fred were raised.

No passes for the hometown girl, though ... she says some folks have made it clear she's not welcome back after all the outrage from people there. Dessie admits she knew there'd be some type of reaction from the costume, but says she was NOT expecting this amount of backlash right off the bat.

Billie Eilish says it's news to her that people plan to impersonate her for Halloween, but now that she knows ... here's a tip on the best costume from the woman herself.

We ran into the pop sensation Monday at LAX and asked her what look SHE would recommend to all the wannabe BEs out there. She acknowledged there are many, MANY options for her fans to replicate.

Aside from her hit music ... Billie's become a bit of a fashion icon over the past year. She's debuted a TON of unique outfits in each of her music videos. Even in this clip, she's got her own steez going strong.

2 Chainz rang in his 42nd birthday on an ominous night -- which was immediately canceled out with better vibes after what Diddy gave him as a gift ... sparkly new booze!!!

The Atlanta-based MC was hosting a birthday bash Saturday night at The Gallery at Ravine in his hometown, which was decked out in the "Friday the 13th" theme ... honoring both the movie and the fact that it actually was FT13 in real life. To make things even creepier, a full moon was out too.

DJ Khaled came  out, as did Jermaine Dupri, Jeezy, Remy Ma, T.I. and Tiny ... and, of course, the Bad Boy honcho himself. Most everyone seemed to stop and pose with 2C.

When Diddy got up to the cameras, he busted out a gold bottle of his best s*** -- White Grape Ciroc, which is apparently the first of its kind to the hit the market. 2 Chainz was honored as the first recipient ... and he seemed fairly stunned by the gesture.

Just hours before President Trump's "Salute to America" event was scheduled to kick off ... the rain started coming down HARD.

As we reported ... Trump said the show is expected to feature "large scale flyovers of the most modern and advanced aircraft anywhere in the world." POTUS also said it's possible Air Force One could make a "low and loud sprint over the crowd."

But, not long before the festivities got underway, rain crashed the shindig ... sending the crowd to look for cover. Even a small group of protesters hid under a nearby stage.

Tanks were on display near the Lincoln Memorial and are not gonna parade along Pennsylvania Avenue. The Navy's elite airshow squadron, Blue Angels, will do a flyover and will also be joined by other aircraft.

Trump -- who tweeted "people are coming from far and wide" -- will address the country from the Lincoln Memorial steps before a incredible 35-minute firework display slated for around 6 PM PT ... assuming the weather cooperates. The weather service says storms are expected this evening.

As we first reported .... the military-themed bash is costing taxpayers tons of dough. The portable toilet rentals alone cost a small fortune ... with the federal government shelling out 2 separate payments of $31,764.24 and $9,534. Golf cart expenses also racked up a $19,282 bill.

Teyana Taylor's setting off her own kinda fireworks down in South Beach ... just ask Iman Shumpert.

The singer showed off her incredible bikini bod Thursday in Miami. She was there with her NBA hubby and her daughter.
