John McCain's Widow He Had Good Reason to Dislike Trump ... Pours Water On Graham's Hot Take

Published | Updated

John McCain's wife gracefully shut down Senator Lindsey Graham's assertion McCain would have grown to like Donald Trump if the two had spent more time together.

We caught up with Cindy McCain Monday at Reagan National Airport ... and she politely disagreed with Graham that her husband and the Prez could have mended fences.

Graham raised eyebrows in D.C. when he told the AP, "I regret that (McCain) didn't have more time with President Trump. Who knows what would have happened over time?"

Lindsey felt if John was able to forgive his captors in the Vietnam War, he could patch things up with Trump.

Cindy's not buying it. She says John is at peace with his actions.

You'll recall ... McCain took a parting shot at Trump before he died, and made clear the President was not welcome at his funeral.

Trump wasn't trying to buddy up to McCain either ... 45 pissed off A LOT of people when he didn't keep the White House's American flag at half-staff until McCain was buried and Trump refused to acknowledge the late senator in front of reporters the day he died.

Colin Jost & Michael Che 2018 Emmys Monologue Long, Overly Topical & Awk AF

Published | Updated

The 2018 Emmys kicked off with an overly long and overly topical monologue from hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che that tried hard to be funny ... but ended up being cringeworthy.

The 'SNL' vets came out standing shoulder-to-shoulder Monday night and threw zinger after zinger after zinger at the board -- most of which were so on the nose and didn't really stick.

Some of the worst attempts at humor came in jokes about the #MeToo movement, with Che saying it was great being there with everyone who hadn't been caught yet. Jost also quipped that Roseanne Barr had canceled herself, but got picked up by white nationalists.

Another eyebrow-raising line from Che ... 'The Handmaid's Tale' is like the white women's version of 'Roots' ... since the characters are forced to have babies and work against their will.

They also took shots at Trump by saying they hoped the Obamas' Netflix production deal would churn out a new 'Apprentice' that got huge ratings ... something DT would clearly hate.

Katt Williams Claims DJ's Husband Pulled Gun on Him After Katt Trashed the DJ

Published | Updated

11:38 AM PT -- Wanda just addressed the incident on Monday's show but would neither confirm nor deny whether her husband pulled out a gun and pointed it at Katt, citing legal reasons.

Wanda said Katt saw her outside the theater Saturday night and beelined it to her and started dissing her again. That's when Wanda says Lamorris told Katt to kick rocks, prompting Katt to respond, "I'll jump on your big ass too."

Katt Williams says he came face-to-face with an armed man looking for revenge -- the husband of a radio DJ he totally roasted on the air -- but the husband is calling BS on Katt's version of events.

You'll recall Katt joined V-103's 'Frank and Wanda' Friday and went OFF on a bunch of comedians, including Tiffany Haddish. During that same interview, Katt also roasted one of the hosts, Wanda Smith ... mocking her weight, wig and cooking skills.

Fast-forward to Saturday night ... Katt hit up the Atlanta Comedy Theater where Wanda regularly hosts. Wanda's husband, Lamorris Sellers, was also there and, according to a police report, had a verbal altercation with Katt. According to an off-duty police officer working security at the theater, he says Katt told him he ran to a grocery store next door after Lamorris pulled a gun on him and pointed it in his face.

Cops say they talked to Lamorris, who admitted to having a gun but denied ever pulling out the piece on Katt. Lamorris claimed the gun fell from his waistband while chasing Katt. Cops say surveillance video from the store shows Lamorris chasing Katt into the store, but does not show Lamorris holding a gun.

Cops say there were no independent witnesses and surveillance footage from the Atlanta Comedy Theater could not be accessed at the time. Katt said he did not want to press charges.

Machine Gun Kelly 'F**k Marshall Mathers' ... Eminem's Kill Shot 'Missed'

Published | Updated

Machine Gun Kelly thinks Eminem needs some target practice ... 'cause Em "missed" when he fired back at MGK in their escalating feud.

MGK mocked Eminem onstage Sunday night, wearing a shirt with the logo from Marshall's extremely homophobic diss track, "Killshot."

Kelly made sure the crowd at the Amway Center in Orlando knew exactly how he feels about Eminem, screaming "F**k Marshall Mathers" as he opened the set with his own song aimed at Em.

MGK takes a shot at Em's age (he's 45), yelling, "The real Slim Shady can't stand up."

Apparently, Orlando is siding with Kelly ... 'cause the crowd goes nuts.

Smart move by MGK's tour manager ... there's no stop scheduled for Detroit.

An actor named G-Rod did Em's bidding Friday night. He called MGK a "p***y" for his shot at Em's daughter. Two hours later, Kelly's crew beat the crap out of G-Rod.

Get your popcorn ready. This beef just keeps getting juicier.

Cardi B I Didn't Post That Transphobic Meme ... On My Facebook Page

Published | Updated

Cardi B says a transphobic meme that showed up on her Facebook page this weekend wasn't her doing and blames a former "team member" who had access to her account.

The meme in question is a highly edited screen grab of Rolf from the show "Ed, Edd n Eddy" looking out of a window. A caption on the meme reads ... "I hope nobody see this tr***y leave my house." It was posted on Cardi's official FB Sunday with laughing emojis above ... but has since been deleted.

Cardi later tweeted out an explanation, saying a former team member has been the only one with access to the account for the past year and a half. She also says that her current official Facebook page is an old account -- but there aren't any other profiles of hers with a blue checkmark.

The rapper didn't elaborate beyond that, but she seems to have regained control of her Facebook account. More posts have been thrown up since news of the controversy first broke.

It should be noted though ... Cardi has reportedly come under fire for using the transphobic slur before -- and she has also apparently apologized for her past use of it.

Post Malone Messing with Evil Spirit on Video!!! Now Cursed Plane & Car Make Sense

Published | Updated

Post Malone oughta know -- if ya dance with the devil, you're gonna get cursed, and this super creepy video explains why his life feels like "Final Destination" lately.

Months before Post's private jet nearly crashed, his Rolls-Royce got totaled and armed crooks targeted him ... the rapper was hanging with "Ghost Adventures" star Zak Bagans and something known as the world's most haunted object. What could go wrong, right?

Zak tells us the close encounter went down in June at his Haunted Museum. The object is called the dybbuk box. Dybbuk is Yiddish for "malicious spirit" and the box inspired the horror flick, "The Possession." Sooo ... totally cool.

After downing some beers, Zak says he took off the protective case and for the first time ever, felt compelled to touch it. He says Post was freaked out -- you can see it in the video -- and did NOT want any part of the box.

He probably definitely shoulda stayed out the freakin' room, but didn't ... and when Zak touched the box, Post touched Zak's shoulder. Bagans says that's enough to trigger a curse, and it explains why Post screamed and pulled Zak out of the room.

Anyway, Zak believes it's absolutely what's behind Post's string of death-defying incidents -- the emergency landing, the scary car crash and the home invasion.

Post told us he thinks God might hate him, but our advice is to lay off the dybbuk, bro.

Or, hire an exorcist. Again, what could go wrong?

Tony Hawk Reveals Best Celeb Skateboarder 'He Can Do Triple Heelflips!'

Published | Updated

Justin Bieber ... Skrillex ... Lil Wayne -- they ain't got NOTHING on Hopsin when it comes to the skate park ... so says boarding legend Tony Hawk.

"Guy can do triple heelflips!" Hawk tells TMZ Sports. "He's no joke."

Tony was out in NYC earlier this week when he made the revelation to us ... and, gotta say -- we're pretty surprised.

Dudes like Logic, Wiz Khalifa, Rich the Kid and even Chris Brown have been spotted shredding on four wheels -- but Hawk tells us the "Sag My Pants" rapper tops them all.

"He's legit," Tony says.

By the way ... if Hopsin's name sounds familiar, it's 'cause he was the guy in a tiff with Tyler, the Creator (who also skates!) a few years ago ... dissin' the rapper in "Ill Mind of Hopsin 4."

Not sure who eventually won that beef ... but at least now we know who'd win in the halfpipe.

Katt Williams Claims Tiffany Haddish Is Only Famous 'Cause She Bangs White Guys

Published | Updated

Tiffany Haddish ain't s**t as a comedian ... is what Katt Williams is claiming after going on one of his patented rants, bashing her rise to success.

Katt joined V-103's 'Frank and Wanda' Friday and went nuclear on a bunch of comedians including Kevin Hart, Jerrod Carmichael and Hannibal Buress. But, he seemed to direct his most lethal shots at the "Girls Trip" star ... saying she's a stand-up hack.

Katt said Tiffany got famous off someone else's writing ... and ANYONE would have earned critical acclaim reading the "Girls Trip" script, which Katt claims he saw way back in 2004.

He added ... Tiffany's been in comedy since she was 16, but claims no one knows her jokes. Then there's this -- "She ain't done a tour yet. She ain't done a special. She has not proven the ability to tell jokes back-to-back for an hour to nobody."

For the record, Tiff has had specials and has a deal to do another for Netflix.

So, what's the secret to her success? According to Katt, it's just 2 words: Brad. Pitt. Watch ... he claims Tiffany's just playing the white card.

Harsh stuff. We'll see if Tiff fires back.

Botham Jean Shooting Cops Want to Paint Victim as a Criminal ... Lawyer Claims

Published | Updated

Botham Jean -- the man killed by an off-duty Dallas police officer after she allegedly mistakenly entered his apartment -- is being set up to look like a criminal by her fellow cops ... according to his lawyer.

Lee Merritt tells "TMZ Live" ... Dallas PD obtained a search warrant the day Jean was shot and killed, but not to aid in the investigation -- he believes their goal was to smear and incriminate Botham, even though he did absolutely nothing wrong.

Merritt says the search warrant for Jean's place was specifically to look for drug paraphernalia. He says this shouldn't come as a shock either ... claiming it's just par for the course for American cops.

As for the off-duty cop who killed Jean, Amber Guyger ... Merritt says he's not sure what really went down last Thursday when he shot Jean in his own home -- but he knows she's lying.

If you don't know ... Guyger claims she went to what she thought was her third-floor apartment, but she was actually a floor up at Jean's. She alleges the door was open and she saw a "large silhouette" inside, and claims after her verbal commands were ignored ... she shot Jean in the torso. She says it wasn't until she turned the lights on that she realized she was in the wrong apt.

Witnesses dispute Guyger's story ... saying they heard her knocking and yelling, "Let me in." It's also been pointed out Jean had a distinctive red doormat outside his door, which should have made Guyger realize she was at the wrong place.

Guyger's been charged with manslaughter.

Terry Crews Adam Venit's Apology Accepted ... Now That He's Retired

Published | Updated

Terry Crews is finally accepting the apology he got from Adam Venit now that the WME agent has officially retired.

Terry just posted a letter he received in March and, in it, Venit asks for forgiveness for the sexual assault Terry says went down at a Hollywood party. Venit does not directly fess up to Terry's allegation, but says ... "I know that you didn't ask for any of this ... I take responsibility for us being here now, together in this situation. I am sorry for all of it."

Venit says ... "I even hope that someday we can come together and go forward with compassion and understanding and be an amazing force for positivity and change in our culture."

We broke the story ... Terry filed a police report against Venit for sexual assault last November. The criminal case was rejected due to the statute of limitations -- but Terry filed a civil lawsuit which just settled. Venit retired when they reached the deal.

In the caption to his post, Terry says the apology is "Accepted WITH HIS RESIGNATION."

'Bachelor' Bob Guiney to Colton Don't Bang Before Fantasy Suites ... Fans Will Turn on You!!!

Published | Updated

Colton Underwood would be wise to keep it in his pants until he's down to 3 women on his season of "The Bachelor" ... so says one of the most promiscuous bachelors ever.

We talked to Season 4's 'Bachelor' Bob Guiney -- who slept with "five and a half women," according to an EP on the show -- and he says Colton should probably stay the virgin course until the fantasy suites, unless he's ready to have 'Bachelor' nation turn on him quick.

Bob's got a point -- it probably wouldn't play well with audiences if Colton started hooking up with ladies left and right after touting his virginity in such a public manner. If he stays true until the penultimate episode, Bob's sure ratings will skyrocket.

As for who should get cast to contend for Colton's heart, Bob thinks it wouldn't be a bad idea to have some late bloomers on there -- even though those folks won't have an automatic advantage.

He also suggests the pendulum could swing the other way with people like ... well, you gotta hear who his surprise guest of the year would be for yourself.

Norm Macdonald on #MeToo I Was Taken Out of Context!!! What I Really Said Was ...

HERE'S WHAT I MEANT

Norm Macdonald is setting the record straight on his controversial take on the #MeToo movement, and also about the Down syndrome crack he made to Howard Stern.

Norm went on "The View" Thursday and said the #MeToo situation was a clear case of being taken out of context. When he said he was happy the movement was "slowing down," he was referring to his friend Chris Hardwick. Norm said that sort of he-said, she-said situation -- with a single allegation -- is one reason not to take every accusers word over the accused.

The former 'SNL' star also cleared up why he expressed sympathy for Louis C.K. and Roseanne Barr ... and says, in full context, he did NOT take a shot at their victims.

As for his Down syndrome reference on Stern's radio show -- made during his initial attempt to dig himself out of the #MeToo hole -- Norm says PC culture is messing with his vocab.

Danielle Bregoli Lands Billboard Cover How You Like Me Now, Bich?!

Published | Updated

12:15 PM PT -- We're told Bregoli's "cover" isn't the actual cover at all ... it's a paid advertisement wrap for issues of the magazine that will hit stands Friday. So while it might appear Bregoli is the featured artist, it's actually Lil Wayne.

Danielle Bregoli has cemented her status as one of the top female rappers -- deal with it -- and Billboard's stamp of approval says it all.

Danielle -- aka Bhad Bhabie -- has just landed the cover of Billboard ... slated to hit stands Friday and just a few days shy before Bhabie's first mixtape "15" is also released. The cover is very much deserving -- it comes on the heels of earning a Billboard nomination for top rap female artist along Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. Strong company, for sure.

TMZ obtained video of Bhabie's behind-the-scenes when she shot the cover. Need more proof she deserves it? Bhabie's the youngest female rapper of all-time at 14 to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 -- 3 of her tracks have made it on ... including "Hi Bich," which has amassed 119 mil views on YouTube alone.

Bhabie -- who goes on tour with Lil Yachty in October -- now has even more reason to celebrate. Maybe another grill? She likes shiny things.

Eminem MGK Needs To 'Shut The F*** Up'

Published | Updated

Eminem isn't sure how he's gonna fire back at Machine Gun Kelly in their heated feud -- but he is making one thing crystal clear ... MGK needs to "shut the f*** up."

In an interview with Sway, Em says he wants to "destroy" MGK but he doesn't want to make Kelly bigger by giving him attention or extra publicity.

It's a little too late for that.

Shady took a deep dive into his beef with MGK ... saying it all started 6 years ago when MGK sent a tweet saying Eminem's 16-year-old daughter, Hailie, was "hot as f***" ... and ignited again when Kelly took a direct shot at Em on a collab with Tech N9ne.

Eminem feels like he's being forced to respond to MGK's diss track, "Rap Devil," and says the entire situation is "f***ing weird."

Eminem is wary of firing back at Kelly ... 'cause that will open the gates to more beef with "every f***ing body" he dissed on his new album, "Kamikaze."

Regardless of what Em ultimately decides, he says he doesn't give a f*** about Kelly or his career -- but you gotta see his review of MGK's skills on "Rap Devil." He actually praised him! Begrudgingly.

Lena Dunham Revolve Screwed Me With 'Fat is Not Beautiful' Sweatshirt

Published | Updated

9/14 -- Revolve issued an apology, saying, "We messed up big. We are SO SORRY for hurting and offending you." They go on to say they have canceled the line and are donating $20k to Girls Write Now -- the charity that was going to benefit from sales of the sweatshirt.

Lena Dunham is backing up the bus over Revolve ... saying the company essentially stabbed her in the back when it put her "Fat is not Beautiful" sweatshirt on a skinny white chick.

Lena says she had teamed with Revolve to roll out the shirts which read, "Fat is not beautiful it's an excuse." She says the intent was to reclaim the hateful phrases Internet trolls use -- a la rappers using the n-word.

But, she says that all backfired when the clothing company "presented the sweatshirts on thin white women." Lena says that destroyed any attempt to reclaim the phrase because ... well, now it just seems mean. She's right. It ain't a great look.

The backlash was immediate, and even though plus-size model Tess Holiday seemed to laugh it off -- Revolve pulled the ad featuring the skinny white model ... then started the damage control. It says it's donating $20k to a young women's charity.

By the way, the sweatshirt cost $168 and had already sold out by the time the ad was pulled.

We haven't seen a clothing retail PR disaster this big since way back in early 2018 ... when H&M pulled this racist "monkey" business.

Ex-Mexico President Viva De La Hoya! ... You Can Be President!

PRESIDENTIAL ENDORSEMENT

Oscar De La Hoya just got his first MAJOR political endorsement -- with former Mexico president Vicente Fox telling TMZ Sports, "I'm with you all the way!!!"

"Breaking news! Oscar De La Hoya is running for President of the United States. Bravo Oscar! You will make it," Fox told us.

Technically, Oscar isn't running yet -- but he told TMZ earlier this week he was putting together an exploratory team to see if he could get enough support to make a serious run for the White House in 2020.

Enter Fox -- who was President of Mexico from 2000 to 2006 -- who strongly believes Oscar is the right man for the job.

"You are honored and respected all over the world. You are well known in California, supported by all which you've done. You are a fighter. You are a warrior. You do fight for human rights. You do protect and fight for Hispanics and Mexican Americans rights in the United States ... that's you, Oscar."

"I'm with you all the way. You will make it ... President or 'Future President of the United States.' Fight. Win. That country needs people like you."

Not everyone has been as supportive, with Eric Holder and Jim Gray scoffing at the idea of President De La Hoya.

But, Oscar insists he's serious ... and this might be just the support he needs to get things going.

Good luck!
