'Property Brothers' Stars Decorating Tips For Bomb Shelters ... WWIII's Got Us Thinking!!!

Property Brothers
BUNKER SWEET BUNKER

The "Property Brothers" are giving Americans one less thing to worry about in the country's ongoing conflict with Iran ... dishing out advice on how to feel at home underground.

We got Drew and Jonathan Scott in New York City, and our camera guy asked the brothers the best way for concerned citizens to deal with the prospect of spending 20 years in a bunker. They tell us it all comes down to making your shelter seem spacious.

As you know ... President Trump's beef with Iran is causing a surge in the number of Americans in the market for bunkers, as nuclear threats and missiles whiz around the Middle East.

The "Property Brothers" say the best way to not go crazy in your burrow is to choose light colors to make it feel bright ... and they're recommending a special type of plant.

Jonathan also tells us the single best thing for bunkers ... hopefully, Trump gets the message.

Aaron Sorkin Trump Would Fail Even in 'West Wing' ... Missing One Key Thing!!!

Published | Updated

TV might be President Trump's thing, but "The West Wing" creator Aaron Sorkin says Donald would be a disaster even in a fictional White House ... for just ONE critical reason.

We got the award-winning producer/screenwriter Thursday night on his way out of Craig's in WeHo, and laid out a simple premise: would he consider a reboot of 'West Wing' with a Trump-esque Commander-in-Chief?

It's obvious Sorkin's already discussed it, if only privately -- because he didn't hesitate to fire off a response that's a direct shot at Trump's personality.

Aaron makes it clear his answer has NOTHING to do with politics, and explains why ... basically, Trump couldn't carry Prez Bartlet's water. Best part of the clip, though, might be Sorkin's own reaction to what came out of his mouth.

Take it easy, Aaron -- we don't think you're in George Lopez territory here.

Then again, we ain't the Secret Service!

Larry King Home Sells for $15.5 Mil ... Divorce Keeps Truckin'

Published | Updated

Larry King and his estranged wife have taken a big step in their ongoing divorce proceedings ... by unloading their mansion in Beverly Hills.

We broke the story ... Larry and Shawn Southwick listed their massive pad in October for $16.995 million, in hopes of reaching a divorce settlement quickly and smoothly.

So far so good, because TMZ's learned it officially sold today for $15.5 million.

The ex-couple bought the 5-bed, Tuscan-style house in 2007 for just under $12 mil, so despite the drop in their initial asking price ... they still netted a nice profit.

The property is 11,000 square feet and features a master suite with twin bathrooms, a skylit foyer, a pool, a trophy room ... and comes with a 2-bedroom guest house to boot. Mega-realtor Kurt Rappaport had the listing.

Alex Trebek 'Jeopardy!' Legends Feel Like Family ... I'm One Lucky Host!!!

Published | Updated
Alex Trebek
WHAT IS FIERCE COMPETITION?

Alex Trebek says he's gotten super close with Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer over the years ... and having them back on "Jeopardy!" feels like a family reunion.

The beloved game show host joined us for "TMZ Live" and told us he's enjoying the hell outta hosting the greatest "Jeopardy!" contestants of all time. Alex says they've got an incredibly strong bond, forged during their long runs on the show.

If you've tuned in to the tournament of champions, you've probably noticed how much fun Alex has been having. It's been a trying 10 months for Trebek, who's battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer, but he tells us he's really enjoying this special competition.

Alex says he's still hanging in there in his fight against cancer ... he has his good days and bad, but it seems this reunion of sorts is really lifting his spirits. Really puts a smile on your face.

Trebek's been at the helm of the show since 1984, but says he's never moderated such a fierce competition ... and ya gotta hear why he's comparing this tourney to the Super Bowl!!!

Pat Sajak I Don't Care Who Replaces Me ... When I Leave 'Wheel'

Published | Updated
Pat Sajak, Maggie Sajak, Vanna White
KEEPIN' IT IN THE FAMILY

Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek are in the same fam -- 'Wheel' and 'Jeopardy' are produced by the same company -- but they have very different end-of-game outlooks.

We got Pat, along with the permanent and temp letter turners, Vanna White and Pat's daughter, Maggie, Thursday night in WeHo leaving Craig's, and we asked the longtime host who he'd want to replace him when he hangs it up.

Pat's answer ... way different from Alex's. Harvey interviewed Trebek a while ago for the show, "OBJECTified," and Alex had 2 favorite replacement hosts -- L.A. Kings announcer Alex Faust and CNN legal analyst Laura Coates.

Seems Pat isn't keeping up with the awesome 'Jeopardy' G.O.A.T. tourney ... but he has love for Alex.

Pat was sidelined with intestinal issues and underwent surgery. It was serious, but he's back in the game.

'Jeopardy!' G.O.A.T. Contestants Big Winners, Very Different Spenders ... $1 Mil Prize on the Line

Published | Updated

The "Jeopardy!" boys facing off for G.O.A.T. status already have tons of cash to their names -- and with even more up for grabs ... we noticed they have very different spending habits.

TMZ did some digging, and it turns out Ken Jennings, Brad Rutter and James Holzhauer have chosen to splurge (or not splurge) on unique causes -- and you'd be surprised at who's done what with their dough. BTW, this new 3-day tourney's got a million-dollar cash prize.

That said ... let's get into the numbers a bit.

Starting with Ken, the guy's racked up a grand total of about $3.5 million in "Jeopardy!" winnings over the years between his regular 74-game streak in '04 and other tournaments he's competed in since. Looks like KJ's an investor type -- he's got quite the portfolio.

Ken's got a crib with an estimated value of $2.1 million in Seattle. He's also pledged 10% of his OG $2.52 mil haul to the Mormon church and has announced a couple other donations. Other monies are tied up in stocks and bonds.

James seems a bit more charitable, at least publicly. He's pulled in around $2.7 mil from "Jeopardy!" and a good amount has gone to charities like Project 150, Communities in Schools of Nevada, Vegas-Clark County Library District Foundation and the Lustgarten Foundation.

Lisa Vanderpump Shades Bravo For Being Cheap ... New Costar Bankrolls Party

Published | Updated
Lisa Vanderpump & Randall
THANKS FOR EVERYTHING
UPDATE

7:22 AM PT -- A source at Bravo tells us the network rarely throws premiere parties and it's usually up to the production company to sponsor one. We're told Bravo did have a party for the show's first season ... but Lisa was simply making a joke Monday night.

Lisa Vanderpump just couldn't resist taking a swipe at Bravo for skipping out on the tab for a "Vanderpump Rules" party ... but fortunately, the newest cast member has deep pockets.

Check out this video from Monday night's bash at Hyde on Sunset, where the cast was celebrating the 8th season of "Vanderpump Rules" ... Lisa grabs the mic and puts the network on blast for refusing to foot the huge bill. Shots fired!!!

Our sources say Randall Emmett, who is joining the show this year -- along with his company Emmett Furla Films and 310 Nutrition -- stepped in and dropped about $50,000 to throw his new cast members a lavish party complete with tons of food and an open bar.

Randall's engaged to "Vanderpump Rules" star Lala Kent, and he just produced "The Irishman."

Too Short even showed up for a short set thanks to David Weintraub Entertainment. ... we're told the two are super close.

Seems Randall's already endearing himself to the cast -- money and famous friends will do the trick. Lisa certainly likes him, a lot more than she likes those cheapskates at Bravo.

'Ink Master' Star Oliver Peck Leaving Show Over Blackface Pics

Published | Updated

"Ink Master" star Oliver Peck is packing up his tools and saying goodbye to the show in the fallout after his blackface scandal ... TMZ has learned.

Peck says his exit is a mutual decision, telling us ... "After filming 13 great seasons of Ink Master, the producers and I have decided it’s best to part ways." He also acknowledged the blackface pics, saying, "The offensive photos of me which recently surfaced from many years ago can only be a distraction to the amazing show I have loved being a part of and its many talented artists."

He ended on a conciliatory note, saying ... "I want to thank the show’s cast, crew, contestants and awesome fans. It’s been a blast and an honor and I wish my friends and colleagues the very best in whatever the future holds." He's been on as a judge since 2012.

Peck's now ex-employers at Paramount Network also denounced the scandal, saying ... "We, like many others, were appalled when we saw the photos of Oliver. We were glad to see his apology and accept that he is taking full responsibility for the damaging impact of his actions."

Ramy Youssef at TSA Shoes, Laptops, Belts and ... Your Golden Globe in the Bin, Sir!!!

THE GOLDEN GLOBE GOES TO ...

Comedian Ramy Youssef's got issues with TSA -- which you'd expect, of course ... because he now has to get his Golden Globe Award through "random" screenings.

Fresh off his victory, the star of Hulu's "Ramy" was at LAX Tuesday morning trying to make his way through TSA. Everyone around him was busy placing their shoes, jackets and belts in bins -- but when he had to place his Golden Globe on the belt ... Ramy had to record the occasion.

You can see Ramy's new hardware -- after winning Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy -- get screened, much to the agent's delight.

The trophy -- securely tucked in its case -- CLEARLY shows up in TSA's screening equipment. But, the agent still feels compelled to open the case, take out the Golden Globe and wipe it down, for "security purposes," of course. She even posed with it as if she's the big winner. Hard to say she isn't when ya see the video.

Ramy definitely thought it was funny ... on his Instagram he joked, "The 'random' checks you have to deal with when you have a [M]uslim name."

He said it -- golden global humor.

'Jeopardy' Jennings & Rutter An Irreplaceable Host for the Ages ... Who is Trebek???

Published | Updated

Two 'Jeopardy' champs hit a daily double of sorts by giving the exact same answer to the question of who could replace Alex Trebek ... and they're both probably right.

Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter were in midtown Manhattan Monday, where they seemed to be doing press to hype up Tuesday's 'Greatest of All Time' episode, which pits KJ, BR and the new kid on the block, James Holzhauer, against each other for 'Jeopardy' G.O.A.T.

On their way into a building, they were asked if they had any advice for an average Joe who might find themselves on the show one day -- and while Ken had a somewhat snarky answer, Brad actually offered interesting insight ... don't guess.

Then the conversation moved on to Trebek -- who's fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and who's alluded -- to us and others -- that he'd hang up his hosting gig if he feels he can't carry on.

The question is simple ... who'd be a good choice to follow in Alex's footsteps when the day comes??? After all ... he told Harvey a year ago he was thinking of passing the torch as he's 79 years old. Their joint answer might not surprise you ... they love the guy.

'Bachelor' Peter Weber I Just Gotta Fly

Published | Updated

'Bachelor' star Peter Weber vows not to get trapped by Hollywood's grip after his season airs ... cause flying's the only way he wants to be close to the stars.

Pilot Pete was out Monday morning on his way to "Good Morning America" when he was asked whether he was going to try and parlay his newfound fame into a career in Hollywood or keep piloting.

Pete's answer is pretty refreshing ... considering how MANY of the 'Bachelor' alums do everything they can to stay relevant. There's this guy, this guy and ESPECIALLY this guy.

The 'Bachelor's' 24th season kicks off Monday ... and Pete's already suggesting there might be some turbulence. Can't wait.

Lisa Vanderpump Ferrari Rams Her Restaurant ... Hubby Says It Happens

Published | Updated
UPDATE

4:04 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources now seem to be confirming what Ken told us ... that the guy was allegedly cut off in traffic, which caused him to lose control and slam into the restaurant.

UPDATE

3:26 PM PT -- TMZ just spoke with Lisa's husband, Ken Todd, after the car crash, and he was actually in pretty good spirits ... all things considered.

UPDATE

Ken tells us that he'd spoken to the driver -- the guy in the white shirt -- and apparently, the dude claimed he'd been cut off in traffic and accidentally swerved into their patio. We asked if he was pissed, and surprisingly ... Ken's not! He says these things happen ... c'est la vie.

UPDATE

Definitely a great attitude to have after such a shocking event. Not only that, but Ken says he's going to keep the restaurant open for the rest of the day and seal off the patio area as it gets worked on. He also tells us one lady got slightly cut up on her arm, but other than that ... no major injuries, thankfully.

UPDATE
Ferrari Backing Out
AFTER THE CRASH
UPDATE

Check out what he says when we ask how Lisa's taking the news ... sounds like she might be a bit more panicked than her hubby. As for the driver of the Ferrari, he was busy talking to cops, and later ... we saw him pull the vehicle out and drive off. It still worked!

UPDATE

We're working on identifying the guy, but it seems the matter's being handled by the appropriate parties.

UPDATE

2:38 PM PT -- We're being told by law enforcement officials familiar with the investigation that the accident doesn't appear to have damaged the structure of the building -- the wreck just tore through Lisa's restaurant patio. Cops also say drugs and booze don't appear to be a factor here.

UPDATE

2:28 PM PT -- Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the Ferrari was apparently trying to make a left turn on one of the surrounding streets, but clearly ... he lost control. We're told one person thus far has been transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant got greeted with a sports car that came smashing through the front doors ... which left shattered glass and a chaotic scene behind.

The accident went down Sunday at the reality star's place of business in West Hollywood -- it's called Pump, and it's a restaurant, garden and a lounge. Somehow, a silver Ferrari jumped the curb and smashed through the patio seating area into the building itself.

Mama June & Geno Booted From Georgia Hotel ... Over Unpaid $2k Bill

Published

Mama June and her boyfriend, Geno, are keeping their nomadic lifestyle alive and well -- 'cause they just got kicked out of one hotel ... and are on their way to another.

Sources tell TMZ ... MJ has been renting a couple different rooms for herself, Geno and some friends at the Residence Inn Marriott in McDonough, GA since around Thanksgiving time -- and recently, her tab started running up to the $2,000 mark ... which went unattended.

We're told on Saturday, the staff notified Mama June -- who's apparently been in and out, as we've seen her pop up elsewhere in the area -- it was time to pay up, but that she refused. Or rather, we're told she couldn't pay it off in full ... coming up shy a few hundred bucks.

Our sources say Mama June and co. were told they had to scram ... and, apparently, announced they were heading to another joint down the street. We're also told the rooms were a mess, but have since been cleaned. Unclear if there was as much damage as there was at the FairBridge Inn & Suites, where we're told they recently crashed at ... allegedly leaving a room in ruins after a fight.

Of course, this is just the latest chapter in Mama June's spiraling story since she first linked up with this guy, whom her family really, REALLY wants out of her life.

Doesn't look like she's ditching him just yet though. Until next time, we suppose ...

William Shatner From Captain Kirk To Captain Claus ... Plays Santa For LAPD

Published

William Shatner pulled a Christmas surprise out of his stocking for some hungry cops stuck working on Xmas ... filling their bellies with a tasty holiday spread.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... the 'Star Trek' legend paid a visit to his local police station on Christmas day, pulling up with trays of corned beef and pastrami sandwiches and contributing the grub to a potluck for police.

Our sources say William also came bearing other tasty gifts from Brent's Deli -- bagels, lox and cream cheese. All part of a complete breakfast!!!

Captain Kirk kept spreading holiday cheer with the LAPD ... we're told William thanked those on the force for working on Christmas and also left behind a nice holiday card for the station.

All told, our sources say William dropped a few hundred bucks to feed the guys.

Put Shatner on Santa's nice list.

Pam Grier No Stage-4 Cancer Here!!! Despite Social Media Rumor

Published

Pam Grier is a cancer survivor, but isn't in the middle of another battle, despite some recent rumors online.

Posts on social media began to surface this week saying that Pam was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and in a fight for her life. A rep for Pam tells us the rumors are bogus ... she's as healthy as ever.

Pam's rep says Grier will be headed to work tomorrow on season 3 of her ABC show, "Bless This Mess." Pam puts in 8-10 hour days when she's working.

Grier was diagnosed with stage-4 cervical cancer in 1988 and given just 18 months to live. Through tough treatment, she made a recovery and has been in remission ever since.

Pam has had a career in Hollywood that dates back to the 70s, starring in films like "Jackie Brown" and in shows like "Linc's."

Grier will turn 71 this year and has no signs of slowing down.

'Ink Master' Star Oliver Peck Blackface Photos Surface

Published | Updated

"Ink Master" star Oliver Peck is learning the same lesson Justin Trudeau learned about blackface ... the pictures will emerge eventually, and it's never a good look.

Oliver apparently had the audacity to wear blackface on multiple occasions ... dressing up as black people over the years for different Halloween costumes. In a set of pics, you can see him applying the black makeup to his tattoo-covered body.

Peck's penchant for blackface was once proudly displayed on his MySpace account ... and now the images are circulating on social media once again -- and it's pissing off a lot of folks.

As you can see ... Oliver's wearing blackface and an afro for a superhero costume.

Yet another image shows Oliver in blackface, wearing a sports jersey, afro wig and headband while dribbling a basketball. He also wore blackface when he dressed up as a Playboy bunny.

It's unclear when the photos were taken.

We reached out to Peck ... no word back, so far.
