NOT A DONE DEAL

Soccer BEEF!!!!

D.C United coach Ben Olsen clearly wasn't too pleased about Alexi Lalas' comments on Wayne Rooney -- because now he's throwing some shade of his own.

Earlier this week, Lalas told us he wasn't too pumped about the MLS team working on a deal with Rooney -- because the guy's essentially a has-been.

"For me, Wayne Rooney doesn't move the needle," Lalas said ... "It might fill some seats, but not that many seats."

ALEXI RIPS ROONEY

Olsen tells TMZ Sports ... the deal with Rooney isn't done yet -- but he's already going to bat for the striker ... with a shot at Lalas.

FYI, Lalas and Olsen have known each other for years -- in fact, they were both founding members of the MLS Players Union back in 2003.

POUND FOR POUND

If 50 Cent and Rampage Jackson actually throw down ... it's not gonna end well for the professional MMA fighter, so says "Power" star Joseph Sikora.

It's a beef that really came to a head this week when 50 posted a trash-talking post on Instagram essentially saying he'd wreck Rampage if they ever really fought.

Rampage responded with some trash talk of his own ... and now there are rumblings the two could actually be setting up a real bout.

Enter Sikora ... who's been working with 50 Cent on "Power" for years -- so, we had to ask if he REALLY thinks his boss can do what Chuck Liddell couldn't get done ... knocking out Rampage.

"I think he's serious," Sikora says ... "I got my money on Fif."

So, why the confidence?

Sikora says 50's in incredible shape and has some real accomplishments as an amateur boxer.

Our opinion? No more talking, make it happen.

DON'T COUNT THEM OUT

They haven't always had the best relationship, but Doc Rivers says there's no hard feelings when it comes to Chris Paul ... and he's rooting for him in the NBA playoffs.

Remember, when Paul left the Clippers last year ... he did an interview with Jay-Z and took a shot at the "culture" of the team, saying they weren't really trying to contend with the Warriors.

Doc took exception and fired back, "Listen, when you leave, you should just leave, honestly."

"I don’t think you have to try to burn the house down or justify why you left. That’s what I would say to it. I like our culture."

Now that some time has passed, we had to ask Doc how he felt about CP3 making his first conference finals -- and Rivers was nothing but supportive.

We also spoke about LeBron's historic playoff run -- and Rivers told us there is ANOTHER superstar who still may have the top spot when it comes to all-time great performances.

And no, it's not Michael Jordan or Kobe.

Reza from 'Shahs of Sunset' Trump Got Iranian Deal Right F-U, Ayatollah!!!

Published | Updated

Reza Farahan from "Shahs of Sunset" not only agrees with President Trump's decision to pull out of the Iranian nuclear deal ... he wishes death to the Iranian dictator and his family.

We got Reza out in L.A. Tuesday and he made it clear ... he's not a Trump fan, but he passionately supports withdrawing from the deal and imposing strong sanctions on Iran. He clearly thinks it's the only way the people will rise up and overthrow what Reza believes is evil at the top.

Reza got in hot water last year when he lashed out on his show, saying, "F*** Iran." He was forced to issue an apology. This time he's not tearing into the country but rather its leaders.

Reza was born in Iran, but eventually made his way to the Hills of Beverly.

THE BEEF WILL NEVER DIE

It's been more than a year since Charles Oakley was arrested at the Knicks game ... but he's still pissed at owner James Dolan and SCOFFED at the idea of making peace with the guy.

We spotted Oak leaving the BTIG Charity Day in NYC and asked how he felt about David Fizdale taking over as head coach for his former team.,

"I hope he do a great job," Oakley said ... "[that's] all I can say!"

But when we turned the conversation to Dolan -- you can tell right away, Oak is still furious over the Feb. 2017 arrest.

"Why would you bury the hatchet with someone who dragged you out of the place?"

Of course, Oakley was arrested for getting physical with security who tried to remove him from MSG after a heated exchange with Dolan. It took an army of security to subdue Oakley.

The ex-Knicks star was charged with assault, harassment and criminal trespass, but later cut a deal with prosecutors and the case has been thrown out.

Oakley recently said he has video from the incident which will proves he did nothing wrong.

Taylor Swift Kicks Off Tour ... I Got Yer Snake Right Here, Kim K.

Published | Updated

Taylor Swift's Reputation tour is taking everyone down memory lane to the time Kim Kardashian called her a snake on social media, because several fake ones littered her stage.

Taylor kicked off her tour Tuesday night in Glendale, Arizona with a giant 30-ft cobra in tow ... so, doesn't look like she's letting bygones be bygones.

Taylor explained that the snake diss, which had people stamping her socials with snake emojis, made her go "through some really low times." She also insinuated Kim was a bully. "If someone is using name-calling to bully you on social media -- and even if a lot of people jump on board with it, it doesn't have to defeat you. It can strengthen you instead," she told the crowd of 60k people.

Openers Charli XCX and Camila Cabello also joined Taylor onstage for her hit, "Shake It Off," but doesn't look like Taylor's ready to do that anytime soon.

Kanye West Crips Have No Beef ... Daz's Violent Threat Lifted

Published | Updated

Kanye West can stop looking over his shoulder, if he ever was, because the Crips have no interest in kicking his ass, no matter what Daz Dillinger says ... TMZ has learned.

Multiple sources in Tha Dogg Pound rapper's old Long Beach 'hood tell us Crips leaders have called off the greenlight Daz called for last week. You'll recall, the day before Kanye was on "TMZ Live" last week -- saying 400 years of slavery sounded like a choice -- Daz asked for all Crips to "f**k up" Ye.

THREATENING MESSAGE

As scary as the recorded shout-out might have sounded ... we're told Kanye was never in any real danger because gang leadership wasn't looking for a fight with Kanye. Quite the contrary, we're told they'd love to have him visit the LBC and support the community.

As we first reported, Kanye's in Wyoming now working on his upcoming releases. When he was here at TMZ, he sounded anything but afraid of the threat. His security can stand down for real now.

Crisis averted.

Katy Perry & Taylor Swift Bad Blood No More?

Published | Updated

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry's longstanding feud is apparently water under the bridge, because Katy sent a literal olive branch ... and it looks like Taylor accepted.

Tay posted a short vid showing off a gift she just got from Perry, with the caption "Thank you Katy" and some heart emojis. There's also a letter, which appears to say the following ...

"Hey old friend, I have been doing some reflecting on past miscommunications and hurt feelings between us. I really want to clear the air ..." It goes on to say Katy is "deeply sorry" about something.

That's where it cuts off, but the the message seems pretty clear ... the 2 pop stars are ready to move on from their years-long bad blood and be friends again.

Justin Theroux My Neighbor's Bullying Again ... Make Him Stop!!!

Published | Updated

Justin Theroux's neighbor is trying to strong-arm neighbors caught in the middle of their property war ... according to Justin, who says it's gotten so scary he needs court-ordered protection.

Theroux claims Norman Resnicow is flying into angry, violent tirades with other residents in their building, because he's trying to scare them into not testifying on Theroux's behalf.

According to the docs ... Resnicow's repeated verbal assaults are working, he's made them reluctant to testify in the heated feud over renovations at Justin's crib. JT says one resident told him Resnicow's behavior has "reached a very dangerous level for everyone in the building."

Theroux also accuses Resnicow of trespassing on his property in order to harass workers and take measurements to help his case. In the docs, he says his neighbor invited a "disreputable tabloid" into their building in an attempt to publicly embarrass him.

The actor's asking the court for a restraining order to keep Resnicow from harassing, intimidating or threatening anyone who has or may testify on Theroux's behalf, and to stop using abusive language in emails as well.

We reached out to Resnicow ... no word back yet.

John McCain Chooses Pence Over Trump ... For His Funeral

Published | Updated

John McCain's health is apparently concerning enough to begin planning for his funeral -- and Vice President Mike Pence is on the invite list ... but not President Trump.

Those close to the Arizona Senator have told the White House they want Pence to attend his eventual funeral, but Trump -- who's had a contentious relationship with McCain -- isn't welcome ... according to a New York Times report.

As we reported ... McCain was diagnosed with brain cancer last July and has been undergoing treatment. Despite his condition, he's still been fulfilling his duties as a Senator by visiting D.C. when he can and communicating with his staff.

McCain also announced his upcoming book -- a memoir called "The Restless Wave" -- will be his last.

Kevin Hart Stuck His Neck Out For Alleged Extortionist Who Betrayed Him

Published | Updated

Kevin Hart wasn't just a close friend of his alleged sex tape extortionist, J.T. Jackson -- he acted like a devoted agent for the guy ... getting him roles in commercials and a lot more.

Sources close to Kevin say case in point ... a 2013 Coke Zero commercial. Hart showed up the day of filming with J.T. and demanded he be given one of the principle acting roles -- with no advance warning.

We're told a call sheet change was made, J.T. was fitted for clothes, and one of the 2 actors who was set to play Kevin's buddy in the spot was replaced and bumped to a background actor. As you can see ... J.T. got his speaking role instead.

Our sources say this wasn't a one-time deal, either ... Kevin worked on at least 3 other projects where he made sure J.T. was given principle roles to star alongside him.

The 2 were extremely close friends for years ... which makes it all the more shocking that J.T.'s now facing 2 felony extortion counts for allegedly trying to coerce Hart into paying for a sex video.

Miesha Tate Blasts Ronda Rousey You Sound 'Asinine, Selfish'

Published | Updated

Miesha Tate did NOT like Ronda Rousey's comments about how it's a "privilege" to hear her speak ... saying that whole concept is "asinine" and "selfish."

Rousey made the comments during a "Mile 22" media event last month -- saying she's scaled back her media presence because "I believe hearing me speak is a privilege, and it’s a privilege that’s been abused."

Enter Tate ... her longtime MMA rival who now hosts "MMA Tonight" on SiriusXM -- and she went off on the UFC legend.

"This is asinine," Tate said ... "I think this is not the kind of attitude you should have when you're someone who's in a position of Ronda."

Tate says Rousey owes it to her fans to talk to the media -- and to call it a privilege is a "slap in the face" to the people who look up to her.

"I don't think this is the type of attitude a role model should have."

Mick Fleetwood The Mac's Still Fun Post-Lindsey Buckingham

Published | Updated

Mick Fleetwood says to expect some surprises when Fleetwood Mac hits the road again this year without guitarist Lindsey Buckingham -- including some Tom Petty gems.

Buckingham was fired from the band last month and replaced by Mike Campbell, the lead guitarist for Petty's Heartbreakers, and Neil Finn from Crowded House.

It was a pretty bad departure, but when we got Mick at LAX Wednesday he told us the band wouldn't be cutting all of Lindsey's songs out of the setlist ... but they will be focusing on having fun. Remember, classics like "Go Your Own Way" and "Don't Stop" are largely Lindsey jams.

We asked if there's any chance for reconciliation, and Mick's answer is pretty definitive -- and sad for fans of the OG Mac.

SMUSHED EGO

Kobe Bryant is talking even MORE trash about his former Lakers teammate, Smush Parker -- saying crappy teammates like Smush forced him to score 81 points back in 2006.

Yeah, it's been more than 12 YEARS since Kobe went insane on the Toronto Raptors ... but he still can't pass up an opportunity to dunk all over Smush -- a guy he hated back in the day.

This time, Kobe was doing a Q&A at USC back on April 2, when he was asked a trivia question -- who was the Lakers 2nd leading scorer in that legendary game?

When he learned it was Smush ... Kobe pulled a face and fired off some shots.

"What did he have, 4?"

Smush actually dropped 13 that day ... but Kobe didn't care and continued the attack.

"Now you know why I had to score 81" ... suggesting his supporting cast was pure trash.

"Tough day, man. That was tough."

Drake Blasts NBA Player You're a 'F***ing P*ssy'

Published | Updated

Drake's beef with NBA player Kendrick Perkins went from 0 to 100 real quick ... the two shouted at each other during the Raptors vs. Cavs game -- with Drake reportedly calling him a "f***ing p*ssy."

The two started exchanging words at halftime ... with things getting so heated one of the Cavs players was holding Drake back.

Things continued after the game when Drake shouted to Perkins that he's a "f***ing p*ssy" and challenged him to come out of the tunnel, according to the Toronto Star's Bruce Arthur.

FYI, Perkins is 6'10" and 270 lbs.

After the game, Perkins told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, "What happened was I was talking to my old teammate Serge [Ibaka] walking into halftime telling him 'We about to win this game,' and Drake butted in talking sh*t to me. So I said something back to him."

Drake's a Raptors superfan -- but he's also friends with a ton of NBA stars.

Interesting to see how this all plays out ...

French Montana Hates Kanye's Support of Trump

Published | Updated

French Montana has ZERO respect for President Trump ... so, with Kanye West showing so much love for 45, French begrudgingly admits it's harder to be down with Kanye.

We got French at LAX on Tuesday, and asked him what he thinks is going on with Kanye rocking Trump's "Make America Great Again" hat. It's already stirred criticism and prompted John Legend to warn Kanye. It's also why Ye came to "TMZ Live" for a discussion in our newsroom that got very heated.

French didn't have an explanation for Kanye's recent comments and gestures -- but he did tell us what the POTUS can do to change his opinion of the Administration.
