Alexa Bliss, LA Knight, Wrestlers Promote John Cena's New Movie While He Can't Over Strike!

Published | Updated

John Cena's new movie, "Freelance," comes out this week, but actors are still on strike, and that means the WWE legend cannot do press to promote the film.

Enter the 16x WWE champion's friends -- including Alexa Bliss, LA Knight, and TMZ Sports' own Mojo Muhtadi, in addition to a bunch more -- who in place of Cena, attended a premiere of the movie at Regal Waterfod Lakes in Orlando.

Of course, SAG-AFTRA, the union representing actors, is still at odds with the Hollywood studios. As part of the strike, actors cannot do media to promote a project ... and if you did, that'd be crossing the picket line.

Obviously a big no-no (ask Drew Barrymore).

So, Cena's buds did the next best thing.

As for the movie, it's got an impressive cast ... with Alison Brie and Christian Slater also starring in the movie, which the studio described like this:

An ex-special forces operative takes a job to provide security for a journalist as she interviews a dictator, but a military coup breaks out in the middle of the interview, and they are forced to escape into the jungle where they must survive.

While he undoubtedly was bummed he couldn't be at Orlando showing, we're told Cena was seriously touched by his friend's show of support!

The movie hits theatres on Friday.

Paris Hilton Trolling My Son 'Unacceptable!!!' And It 'Hurts My Heart'

Published | Updated

Paris Hilton is continuing to protect her son, Phoenix, after social media trolls posted a bunch of rude comments about the infant's head size ... and she says the remarks hurt more "than words can describe."

She reacted to the wave of hate Tuesday on X, admitting that living in the spotlight comes with folks commenting left and right, before adding ... "but targeting my child, or anyone else’s for that matter, is unacceptable."

She says the things she's seen about her baby boy hurt her heart, saying she's "worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return."

Paris even points out the corner she's backed into ... "If I don't post my baby, people assume I'm not a great mother and if I do post him, there are some people who are cruel and hateful 😢."

Regardless of the haters, Paris says she's a "proud working mom" and has always dreamt of being a mother -- calling Phoenix 'the biggest blessing of my life."

As we reported, Paris first clapped back in the comments section of a TikTok about the nasty comments she got on a cute photo of her and Phoenix ... writing, "🥺😢There are some sick people in this world.☹️My angel is perfectly healthy."

Britney Spears EX-HUSBAND DENIES SHE WAS DRUNK, BORED AT WEDDING ... Actually, We Were in Love!!!

Published | Updated

UPDATE

7:31 AM PT -- Jason Alexander's got a bad case of revisionist history, at least when it comes to how sober he and Britney Spears were on their wedding day. Eight years after the ceremony he told ABC News they'd been drinking and had "party favors."

When asked if he meant drugs, he coyly pointed out alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes are all drugs. Point is, they were far from sober, and Britney fans are calling him out for lying.

Jason Alexander, Britney Spears' ex-husband, is clapping back at her claim she only married him because she was drunk and bored ... instead, he insists it was true, sober love.

Jason, who was married to Britney for a whopping 55 hours in 2004 before getting an annulment, tells TMZ ... readers shouldn't believe a word Britney says about their marriage in her new memoir.

In "The Woman In Me," Britney says she and Jason "got sh**faced" before tying the knot early one morning in Las Vegas back in January '04 ... adding, "People have asked me if I loved him. To be clear: he and I were not in love"

Britney also writes, "I was just honestly very drunk -- and probably, in a more general sense at that time in my life, very bored."

JA says that's BS because they were absolutely in love and weren't boozing -- which, btw, is exactly how their wedding officiant described the couple in a previous interview.

Jason says they've been friends since childhood, and he still cares for and loves her -- however, he adds, he'd never buy her memoir, and would only accept a copy if it was signed ... and, even then, he admits he'd probably "sell it to the highest bidder."

So much for the love!

Britney's revealed a ton of bombshells in the book ... and Jason says, in his opinion, Britney's abortion from her pregnancy with Justin Timberlake was a "horrible decision." Jason believes the two would've had enough money to raise a kid and get help as well.

He also weighed in on Britney's rationale for her nude photo posts ... saying he sees it as "childish behavior" from a mother, but he believes Justin cheated, and then broke up with Brit in response to her cheating. That's his 2 cents, anyway.

BRITNEY SPEARS EX MARIDO NIEGA QUE ESTUVIERA BORRACHA EN LA BODA ¡Estábamos enamorados!

Published | Updated

JENELLE EVANS Responds To Husband's Child Abuse Charge ... 'I Do Not Trust Anyone Around Me'

Published | Updated

Jenelle Evans says she can't trust anyone in her life, not even her own family, and she's reeling in the wake of her husband being charged with child abuse.

The 'Teen Mom' star just broke her silence on the child abuse charge against David Eason in a case involving her 14-year-old son Jace ... going after police and the folks closest to her.

Jenelle says ... "I do not trust anyone around me ... I have no idea what human being I can trust anymore, not even my own blood."

She continues ... "I'm being fed all these different stories from different people. People trying to get on my good side.. To then betray me over and over."

Jenelle does not name names in her social media posts ... and she also takes aim at the North Carolina cops who oversaw the child abuse case saying ...

"YOU WOULD THINK POLICE WOULDN'T MAKE A ONE SIDED POLICE INVESTIGATION. THEY DIDN'T CONDUCT INTERVIEWS, DIDN'T ASK ANY INFORMATION FROM THE PARENTS."

"THIS SEEMS LIKE A VERY BIAS SITUATION LIKE EVERYTIME BEFORE. I TRUSTED THAT DETECTIVE WITH ALL MY HEART.. FORGOT YOU CAN'T TRUST COPS... SILLY ME."

TMZ broke the story ... David was charged with a misdemeanor after Jace ran away from David and Jenelle's home back in September, prompting an investigation. It was the third time Jace had run away from home in about a month's time.

Remember ... Jenelle got custody of Jace from her mother, Barbara, earlier this year and he's David's stepson.

For his part, David's remained mum on the incident ... but now Janelle's speaking out.

JENELLE EVANS Responde A La Acusación De Abuso De Menores De Su Marido NO CONFIO EN NADIE A MI ALREDEDOR

Published | Updated

Ex-NFL Star Chris Long On The 'Tush Push' ... 'If You Don't Like It, Stop It!!!'

PIVOTING TO PLAYER SAFTEY

Chris Long says "Tush Push" play haters need to kick rocks ... telling TMZ Sports if teams have such a problem with it, they should simply learn how to stop it.

The "Brotherly Shove" has become one of the most polarizing issues in the NFL this year ... after the Philadelphia Eagles have found a way to turn the ugly QB sneak into a first-down-making machine.

Some have argued it's unfair, while others have said it's so convoluted, boring, and even dangerous -- the NFL needs to ban it.

But Long -- who won a Super Bowl with the Eagles in 2018 -- said the league should do no such thing ... explaining he believes the play's detractors are just envious of the Birds.

"The Eagles running it looks totally different than the Niners running it or some other team," the 2008 first-round pick said. "And I think people are just mad at Philly. No one likes us, we don't care."

Long tells us teams shouldn't look to Roger Goodell to fix their problems with the play ... and instead, they should just "draft bigger guys." Or, better yet, he said just avoid third- and fourth-down-and-short plays against Philly altogether!!!

102423_chris_long_podcast-KAL
IT MEANT A LOT TO ME

The argument for and against the play certainly isn't going anywhere, anytime soon ... but thankfully for Long, he now has a huge platform to ingrain his stance in fans. He's joined this year's iteration of "Inside the NFL" -- and he's clearly loving all that's coming with the opportunity.

U.S. Dept. Of Justice Investigating NBA Over Alleged Antitrust Violations Targeting BIG3

Published | Updated

The NBA's squarely in the sights of the United States Department of Justice over accusations The Association worked to torpedo Ice Cube's Big3 basketball league ... allegations the NBA denies.

TMZ Sports has learned the DOJ launched the inquiry months ago, examining alleged anticompetitive behavior on the part of the NBA, aimed at squashing the Big3's growth.

Those allegations, we're told, range from the NBA purportedly throwing its weight around to prevent sponsors and others potential partners from doing business with the rap legend's league ... to discouraging television networks from carrying Big3 games.

Cube and business partner Jeff Kwatinetz launched the 3-on-3 league, made up almost entirely of retired NBA players, in 2017.

Some current players have expressed a desire to play in Cube's league in the offseason, but we're told, as the Big3 sees it, the NBA has prevented guys from doing so, putting arbitrary rules in place to stop players from hooping in Ice's league.

FYI, the NBA and Big3 seasons do not overlap.

Of course, it's a regular occurrence for NBA players, including some of the biggest stars in the world like LeBron James, to hoop in non-NBA games after the season ends ... such as L.A.'s famed Drew League.

Big3 officials, according to sources familiar with the investigation, believe they've been unfairly targeted by the NBA.

We've also been told NBA owners have been discouraged from investing in the Big3 while simultaneously owning a franchise.

Referees haven't been immune, either, according to a source ... who says they've been told they cannot officiate for the Big3, despite some working for other organizations outside of the NBA.

A source familiar with the Dept. of Justice investigation tells us Cube and Kwatinetz met with DOJ lawyers during the first half of the year. We're also told investigators have begun reaching out to NBA owners as part of their investigation.

If the government ultimately finds the league committed antitrust violations, the NBA could face a significant fine.

We reached out to the league for comment ... and NBA spokesman Mike Bass, addressing the allegations of sponsorship and TV network interference, pressuring potential Big3 partners, and others, told us, "Those claims are not true."

Bass also added ... "We have been supportive of the Big3 since its inception, but we declined to invest."

We reached out to the U.S. Department of Justice and the Big3 ... who both declined comment.

DEPTO. DE JUSTICIA INVESTIGA A LA NBA

Published | Updated

Dave Chappelle Gets Offer to Meet with Jewish Group After Israel Comments

Published

Dave Chappelle has angered many in the Jewish community after his remarks on Israel -- but one group advocating for them is extending an olive branch if he's willing to chat.

American Jewish Committee spokesperson Richard Hirschhaut tells TMZ ... they'd love to have a sit-down with Dave to help him understand why so many people were upset, and how he can better navigate this topic next time around.

The AJC, a global advocacy organization, says Dave's first attempt to discuss Israel-Palestine -- during his Boston show last week -- missed the mark and adds ... "Dave Chappelle prides himself on precision of language and moral clarity. His comments uttered during last Friday's show at TD Garden failed on both counts."

They tell us his initial condemnation of Hamas was great -- but that he should have stopped there. AJC continues, "By criticizing Israel's retaliatory strikes and accusing the US of aiding the slaughter of innocent people, Chappelle turns truth on its head. Make no mistake, the slaughter of innocents is precisely what Hamas did on October 7th."

Of course, there've been innocent Palestinians who've been killed in the aftermath of all this as well -- upwards of 4,300, in fact, depending on which tallies you look at. The original Hamas attack claimed around 1,400 or so innocent Israeli lives.

In any case, the AJC thinks DC needs to be more precise with his language -- and they also believe he should know better at such a volatile time. According to them, his encouraging of people to shout "Free Palestine" creates a hostile and dangerous environment for Jewish people, and they say if that happens again, it's incumbent on him to ask what that means.

In their mind, the answer is obvious ... Free Palestine boils down to eliminating Israel.

Still, Richard says his org "would welcome an opportunity to meet with Chappelle and his team in an effort to help deepen his understanding of the current situation and enable him to be a source of more light than heat going forward."

102323_tmz_live_chappelle_1714891
CHAPPELLE'S CONTROVERSIAL COMMENTS

Based on Dave's track record with other controversies ... the AJC probably shouldn't hold its collective breath. He doesn't tend to apologize, nor does he often feel the need to sit down with anyone after something like this.

Another org repping Jewish interests -- StandWithUs -- has some strong words for Dave. Roz Rothstein, the co-founder and CEO says, "If the reports about Chappelle's comments are correct, it is deeply disappointing that he has yet again used his platform to promote more division, misinformation, and hate regarding Israel and the Jewish people. We applaud the audience members who spoke up and walked out of the show in protest."

Jake Paul I'm Not A Cokehead!!!

Published

No, Jake Paul was NOT doing bumps of cocaine in the ring after his brother Logan's boxing match last weekend ... so says the Problem Child himself, who's combating the allegations with comedy.

The 26-year-old internet superstar and pugilist was spotted on camera touching his nose as he stood behind his older bro following his win over Dillon Danis in Manchester ... with many going to social media to accuse him of sniffing the booger sugar in plain sight.

Paul addressed it all in his most recent YouTube video ... poking fun at the wild claims by surrounding himself with Coca-Cola cans and tossing a white powder in the air like LeBron James.

"Y'all want some Coke?" Paul asked his friends as he pretended to be drugged out.

After laughing it off, Paul got serious ... saying his gesture was the result of being a sweaty guy -- even zooming in on his nose to show how moist his skin gets from "five minutes of existing."

On top of that, his involvement in the post-fight scuffle certainly didn't help his perspiration problem.

"This is the thing, is I go to brawl in the ring to save my f***ing brother," Paul added. "Forty grown men around me, everyone's huffing and puffing, I'm yelling, 'You bitch, you're lucky I didn't kill you.' and I'm literally drenched in sweat."

"I come out, everyone knows I'm the most sweatiest person in the world. So I get into the ring to like, go be there for my brother and s***, and I put my hat on and I'm literally sweating down my face, so I'm just like this, trying to get the sweat off of my f***ing face."

Paul's girlfriend, Jutta Leerdam, backed her man ... saying she's seen first-hand how seriously he takes care of his body -- and all the haters need to quit trying to create a false image of him.

Ultimately, Paul said he's more of a mushroom and wine type of guy ... so you won't see him hitting the slopes anytime soon.

Broncos' Kareem Jackson Gets Racist DM After Packers Game

Published | Updated

UPDATE

The NFL was quick to punish Kareem Jackson for his hit on Musgrave ... suspending him four games for "violations of unnecessary roughness rules" against the Packers.

In a letter to Jackson, the NFL's VP of football operations Jon Runyan explained the decision ... saying, "On the play in question, you delivered a forceful blow to the head/neck area of a defenseless receiver, when you had the time and space to avoid such contact."

"You could have made contact with your opponent within the rules, yet you chose not to."

Runyan also pointed out it wasn't Jackson's first offense ... as he was hit with several personal fouls for violating player safety-related rules.

Jackson can appeal ... but as it stands right now, he is slated to miss the Broncos' matchup against Kansas City, Buffalo, Minnesota and Cleveland.

Broncos defensive back Kareem Jackson received a racist message following his ejection from the Packers game Sunday ... and he was so angry with the comment, he called out the sender publicly.

The DM was sent to Jackson's Instagram account just after he was booted from Denver's 19-17 win over Green Bay for illegally hitting Luke Musgrave in the head and neck area.

The message, apparently sent from a man named Philipp, read, "Stop behaving like a f***ing n** 🤡"

Minutes later, the 35-year-old safety -- who was actually ejected from the Broncos vs. Commanders game earlier this season as well -- reposted the message ... and was clearly fuming over its content.

"I wanna make sure you get the attention you're looking for," Jackson said. "I want your friends and family to know what type of racist person you really are over a game."

"I'll repost all this week so it doesn't go unnoticed. Don't worry, IG tough guy."

Jackson later revealed he got another inappropriate message on the app ... one he was also furious about.

"Another IG tough guy," Jackson wrote after reposting the DM to his 120,000 followers. "This what we deal wit because we are athletes on a regular. Disgruntled fans that hide behind social media knowing it wouldn't end well in person. Enjoy this fame Daniel."

This is the second time a high-profile player has called out fans for their messages on Instagram this season ... earlier this year, Vikings star Alexander Mattison said he got over 60 hate notes from fans, with some including the N-word.

Lil Baby Dude in Male Fellatio Vid Ain't Me ... Stop Clout Chasing!!!

Published | Updated

The Internet seems to think Lil Baby got caught in a sex act that would suggest he's into men -- but the dude's speaking up and calling BS ... while telling everyone to cool their jets.

The rapper is trending right now because of a viral video that's making the rounds -- which is sexually explicit and graphic ... depicting a man giving another man fellatio. It's one of those weird, fuzzy recordings of a recording type of clip ... the source of which is unknown.

The man who can be seen in the clip apparently bares a passing resemblance to Lil Baby -- at least that's what a lot of people believe, anyway ... a notion that's further fueled by a caption that's partially covering this guy's full face, which reads "Nah lil baby 😭."

In other words, some random clip of a guy giving oral sex to another man was screen recorded, someone attached Lil Baby's name to it ... and then tried passing it off as legit.

Of course, Twitter's having a field day with this right now ... with a ton mean-spirited and homophobic jokes flying at LB's expense -- but he's already pouring cold water on it all.

He took to his IG Stories and wrote quite clearly, "Y'all gotta stop using my name and likeness when y'all get bored , then the extremes mfs go to for clout is sick. Ain't no mystery in my history on NO LEVEL. This is my last time addressing any kind of dumb ass click bait."

So, there you have it ... Lil Baby's saying definitively it isn't him. Also, FWIW, the guy that's in this viral video could be anybody -- it doesn't even really look like LB based on what you can see, and considering his face is heavily obscured ... even more reason to be dubious.

In the age of deep fakes/AI ... it's easier than ever to spread misinformation. Be careful, folks.
